Experiencia negativa: Acute Care really left me feeling very confused & frightened for my safety at home. The affect of the NP was very, flat. I can’t say ever looked me in the eyes. Very, strange as it seemed SLOW there, afternoon time 3 O’Clock abouts. The “examination” was performed in the chair after my blood pressure was taken by a young nurse. I had pain in my bladder & kidneys that hurt, I had it a few times before but it was always done on a table because I get infections more as I age. She said very little and when I asked if it was normal to run a fever and have such pain. She said during her exam I had no pain. Ever hear “speak when spoken to”? Well, usually Dr’s tell you to say something when it hurts or is tender, better seen not heard so I sat there as she pawed lightly on my sweater. It was as if she didn’t know what to do or want to help, when she said That everything was fine I trusted but I still knew it was different (I shared the experience with a fellow parishioner next day, had I not, Boy, I’d have still been Septic! They also encouraged my Son to help me report the incident because later that night I fell very ill vomiting and was taken to Mayo) I’m an older woman who remembers, a much more compassionate time. I felt safer because these weren’t actors but people who Actually cared in a Place designed for healing, but apparently no longer! This makes me frightened to be alone if I can’t trust my hospital! Not sure why you’d even clock in, if you’re going to act like everyone is dead already. Perhaps to that NP, they saw nothing but another useless Old Woman. Either way, I am so glad to be done with it. I encourage everyone to *report anything out of the ordinary to your insurance company when you notice steps being skipped, images going on without explanations or comparisons to earlier ones, no answers to what symptoms brought me in, so I feel like I got the run-around and paid dearly for it too! My husband we were, always rooting for OMC. BUT- please don’t pilfer from your patients, don’t fabricate events or pretend to- CARE when this could mean someone dies. Know what? My time on Earth is invaluable! I can’t afford your fee anymore. I had fevers woke up and fell later that same night. Needless to say, my Son called the insurance and a Nurse there walked me thru the incident Step by Step so they had it on file to formalize payment rejection since this is the second time they near killed me. (This is one year after the same Duo said I had a cold and it ended to be pneumonia.) To that NP, I pray you Stay home, because you and that other fella are all over these reviews and somehow… still have a job? Goodness! Grateful my son called that ambulance. Experiencia fantástica: PA Chris and Nurses Allysa and Adreana stitched up a nasty gash from a bike accident. Great service and wonderful stitching on a difficult wound.
Experiencia fantástica: Got us in quickly, and were polite and helpful.
Experiencia negativa: Went in for horrible ear pain and the doctor said it was allergies. Next day I was at the ER crying in pain and could barely move because it was ear infections and strep.
Experiencia fantástica: I am very impressed with the care and kindness shown at this acute care. We took my 3 year old in and didn't even wait 5 minutes to be seen. The nurses took time to listen to me and also was interested in listening to the stories of my little girl. They explained to her what they were doing. It helped her relax tremendously! I would definitely recommend this place. I felt like they genuinely cared and were knowledgeable about their diagnosis.
Experiencia negativa: My 70 year old mother was seen here today as she has been feeling awful since Friday 9/22/23. She got right into a room which was nice however the P.A that saw her didn’t touch her or examine her AT ALL. She has had a sore throat, bad congested sinuses, and a cough that keeps her up all night. She Didn’t look in her ears, listen to her lungs, check her throat etc. She did absolutely nothing other than tell her she didn’t have Covid and it’s a virus. Nothing they can do. Now I know why this clinic has such low reviews. If I could give zero stars I would.
Experiencia negativa: The FastCare people are great. Acute care has been nothing but a nightmare each time I've used it - there are two NPs that work in Acute that I refuse to see anymore; after the third visit with one (I was super sick), I called and asked the clinic to put a block with the guy so I would never be scheduled with him again, as he was rude and condescending. I actually now call ahead to see who's working; if it's either one of the two NPs, I will ask for a different one or go to Southeast. A 4 year old playing doctor would have better bedside manners than him (and more trust from me). The female is just as bad; writing to their patient care complaint department does nothing.
Experiencia fantástica:
Experiencia negativa: PA spent very short amount of time and discounted symptoms. The only suggestion he had was to try what I had already been doing which was not working (symptoms had been getting worse with current treatment).
