Experiencia fantástica: I spent 8 days at Van Matre. It was a good experience. The therapist there are top notch and are dedicated to helping people get better and be able to enjoy life, no matter the injuries. Staff was also very good. They made sure that you were comfortable and were willing to answer any questions you had. I hope that I never have to go through rehab again, but if it happens, I will go back to Van Matre in a heartbeat.

Experiencia fantástica: I spent a little over a week at Van Matre following my hospital stay for a stroke. The time spent there was filled with wonderful staff, Doctors, nurses, therapists, and others who I had the opportunity to work with. I was treated and cared for with my comfort and need for different therapeutic care with utmost respect. I would recommend Van Matre to anyone needing PT, OT or Speech. Everyone there works hard to push you to doing your best. They are positive, encouraging and truly care about you. I am grateful for the careI received from my stay at Van Matre. Even after your discharge they call to make sure you are doing well.

Experiencia positiva: In my opinion Van Matre Emcompass Is one of the best rehabilitation Hospitals in Rockford. This was my first time and I’m sure first impressions are most important at least I think so. Nursing staff was very kind and professional, Occupational Therapist and Physical Therapy were both very Good at their professions. Experiencia fantástica: I did not know what to expect when I was transferred here from the hospital. So far I have told everyone who will listen what a great place this is!!! Anyone who needs to physically recover should come here. You will get the best of the best. The staff are incredible, from the doctors that checked in on me, the nurses and assistants who cared for my every need, the kitchen staff planning meals; and Paige, Christina, Riley, Shelby, to name a few who took great care of me as well worked and encouraged me to keep going, that I could do it. I was so scared to leave but they knew more than I what was best. They knew how to help ease that hesitation to leave. Ringing that bell, knowing how far I’d come was the bestest, yes bestest feeling; I had accomplished my goals to be safe at home, by myself. They weren’t wrong. This place has a wonderful atmosphere and everyone working as one cohesive unit to provide the best outcomes for all patients who come through their doors. Thank you to everyone for all you did to get me to where I am and how far I’ve come. I Love all you guys!!!! ❤️❤️ You’re the best!!! Yolanda

Experiencia positiva: I must say I was frustrated at first because it took longer than I expected to get my pain under control. Once that was taken care of life was easier. My nurses were great. PT and OT went well. Most of the food was good. My only question is why was I allowed to go home when I had no heat in my house. I was by myself until the next day when help arrived. But I still didn't get the heat on until the next day at noon. I was chilled to the bone. It took three days before I felt warm. But all I could do is sleep for three more days. Then I finally felt alive and normal.

Experiencia fantástica: I received outstanding care from the physical therapist and occupational therapists. When I press the call light someone came with in minutes. The food was absolutely delicious. The care was so good and compassionate that I was released early because I had gotten better quickly!

Experiencia fantástica: Carl was so fortunate to have visited Van Matre two different times within this year. He got so much stronger there and was able to resume his life at home. He always gives 150%. The staff is so friendly and caring and helpful with any issue that comes up. The rooms are so bright and comfortable. In our opinion, its a place that has the best therapists PT, OC, and Speech. Van Matre is well known as the best for theraphy in this area. Very impressive with the machines that they have for theraphy. If you are lucky enough to be accepted there, you should give it your all because you will be working with the best.

Experiencia fantástica: They were great! I was in an accident with my fiancé and unfortunately he did not make it and they were very sensitive to me. OT Shelby made me feel so comfortable and she truly cares about her patients! PT Alex and Paige were awesome and worked with another OT Audi to come up with a unique way to get me up and down the stairs. Love this place and would recommend it!

Experiencia fantástica: When I got to Van Matre I could barely walk a few steps. The staff worked with me and got me to where I walked over 100feet, I showered by myself and was no longer a fall risk. Unfortunately I had to leave with oxygen in my nose but after what I went through for the last month and a half, that was nothing. I love all the catering staff at can matre.

Experiencia fantástica: In 3 weeks I went from not being able to stand or walk to walking with stroller. I learned to speak and be understood, though I will need ongoing therapy, after being on a ventilator for 7 days and sustained some damage at the hospital. Without VM help, encouragement, therapists, nurses and the whole staff, I wouldn't have been able to be home as I write this. If I would recommend VM as the best place to go to.

Experiencia negativa: This is the worst place i have ever encountered! They are great sale people promise the stars! The care was absolutely horrible! Many bruises and med changes that i asked to be informed. Did not do that! But they didnt care as long as they were not bothered. My mothers bottom when she camre home looks like they never changed her. Just AWFUL! Left her to sit hours alone thank god family was around! Makes me sad that i thought i was helping my mother move forward to only have her go backwards. She was so sad there! Shame on them i yanked her out of there! Please be aware of the great sales they push!

Experiencia fantástica: I was like a baby when I arrived after having COVID on a ventilator for 4 weeks. Everyone, every one at Van Matre treated me with respect and compassion, occupational and physical therapy worked with me daily, had expectations for each day and I reached those expectations with their gentle but firm determination. The nurses, the office staff, make you feel like you matter, I never ran across someone's bad day. I have a chance to come back to rehab from knee replacement, I have full faith in Van Matre.

Experiencia negativa: Horrible experience. Was there for physical therapy to strengthen legs but was confined to a wheelchair or bed except when PT was there. Put alarms pn my chair and bed do i could not get up. Felt like prison.

Experiencia fantástica: I found Van Mater to be very effective. The physical therapist and occupational therapist worked very hard to ensure that we got the exercises we need to move forward with our life. I found the nursing staff very sweet and kind and as attentive as they could be.

Experiencia negativa: They lied to me and sent my wife home with open wounds. They all so sead that the insurance would only pay for 14 days when my insurance told me that they would pay for up to 6 months. I still have not gotten a bill or invoice for the time she was in.

Experiencia fantástica: My husband had his second below the knee amputation. He spent two weeks getting rehab. He has experienced multiple hospitalizations and by far this was truly his best experience. The rehab team was empathetic but strived to get him to keep challenging himself. His feelings of total loss soon shifted to an attitude of things will work out. They also added me to the mix as his caregiver. Assisting with how to transfer with a board using my actual vehicle. Our case manager had everything set up for us at discharge for a sooth transition to home health care. I am very grateful to Van Matre.

Experiencia positiva: My wife was there for therapy after a stroke. She was there 21 days and I was with her from 8am until 9pm every day. I was at every therapy session with her. The therapists were all good and my wife slowly improved. My big complaint was the food delivery system. The food itself was good but getting melted ice cream, lukewarm milk and a hot meal that wasn't hot almost every day was not. The food trays were stacked on large carts until served and they did not have enough staff to deliver the meals in a timely manner. I think they knew they had a problem as management was recruited several times to help deliver meals.
Experiencia fantástica: The most positive and on task health provider I have encountered in my life. I was born in 1953 and have experienced many things that broden my horizons. And this was one of the best experiences in my life.

Experiencia fantástica: I NEVER WOULD'VE IMAGINED I WOULD BE IN THE HOSPITAL FOR 4 WEEKS DUE TO AN RELAPSE OF MS & REHAB ANOTHER 2 WEEKS.I WAS EXPERIENCED SEVERE TINGLING & ELECTRIC LIKE SENSATIONS THAT WENT FROM NAP OF MY HEAD,NECK, DOWN MY BACK, HIPS & IN MY FINGER TIPS(IT FELT LIKE THEY WERE BEING HELD OVER FIRE)MY FEET WERE SWOLLEN TO THE POINT IT HURT TO PUT COVER OVER OR TOUCH THEM, I COULDN'T WALK. AS TGE SWELLING WENT DOWN I NOTICED MY RIGHT FOOT WASNT RELAX FLAT TO THE FLOOR IT REMAIN IN AN ARCHED TYPE POSITION LIKE I WAS POSING. IT HURT LIKE HELL AFTER TRYING TO GET AROUND & I WAS CHOKING ON FOOD & WATER. VME HELP ME FIGURE OUT WHY I WAS HAVING THE CHOKING ISSUE. WHEN I SAY THE ENTIRE PT STAFF WORKED HAND IN HAND TO HELP YOU UNDERSTAND THAT WE ALL HAVE SOME TYPE OF LIMITATION & NOT TO FEEL EMBARRASSED OR DEFEATED BY WHATEVER IT MAY BE.(CHRIS PT) I APPRECIATE YOU SO MUCH BECAUSE 1 MORNING I JUST COULDN'T STAND THE PAIN IN THE BACK OF MY CALF, IT HURT TO TOUCH LET ALONG STAND UP. I WAS SO ANGERY & MAD AT THE WORLD THIS DAY. EVERYONE ELSE TOUCHED IT EVEN AFTER SEEING IT HURT ME. CHRIS (PT) NOTICE IT WAS SPASMODIC & HAD THE DOCTOR COME IN & BY NOON I WAS ABLE TO GET BACK ON TRACK. ALL THE THINGS YOU DONT THINK ABOUT AS FAR AS MOBILITY & MOVEMENT IS INTRODUCED TO YOU IN A WAY TO ASSURE YOUR SAFE FROM WALKING THROUGH A CARPETED OFFICE TO MOVING AROUND YOUR HOUSE & KITCHEN. THEY ADDRESSED SELF TRANSFER NEEDS FROM THE BED, TUB AND CAR. I HAVE 17 STEPS TO GET INTO MY APARTMENT WE WORKED ON CURBSIDE, ELEVATED WALKWAYS, GOING UPSTAIRS SAFELY & THE NEED TO STOP TO REST IF NEEDED. I WAS AFRAID OF COMING DOWN BUT THANK TO VME I WAS ABLE TO BE ACCOMMODATED WITH A FIRST FLOOR UNIT. I AM NOW ABLE TO GET OUT TO WALK ( WOBBLE) ABLE THE COMPLEX WITH MY WALKER & CANES. I HAVE A LOT MORE FREEDOM & MY MOVEMENT HAS GOTTEN FASTER. MY FOOT HAS FALLEN DOWN A LIL MORE STILL NOT ON THE GROUND BUT EACH DAY IS ANOTHER OPPORTUNITY TO USE THE SKILLS I HOT FROM THE VME PT STAFF. THE NURSES ARE SO LOVING & POLITE. FOOD IS BASED ON YOUR DIETARY NEEDS PUREED, SOFT BITE SIZED & REGULAR NO RESTRICTIONS & I HAD ALL THREE YOU PICK & CHOOSE YOUR BATTLES WITH THE MENU ITEMS. ALL & ALL I RECEIVED EXCEPTIONAL CARE. I HAVE TO EVERYONE THAT IF YOU NEED TO DO REHAB FOR MOBILITY VAN MATRE ENCOPASS REHABILITATION CENTER IN ROCKFORD IS WHERE YOU REQUEST TO BE SENT.

Experiencia fantástica: After 6 weeks at Hospital not ever out of bed, I could not stand let alone lift myself or walk. Progress in a few days at Van MATRE remarkable. I required Cather care, IV theraphy and other medical needs as well as rehabilitation services. Always a Doctor available. Excellent Nursing Staff, PCT’s and CNA’s. A plus is excellent meals. The facility is modern and well staffed. The room’s are nice with large shower room. I received excellent care and heard no complaints from other patients. In Short, nothing is perfect probably but Van Madre is close. The staffing is excellent. This is not a nursing home, it is a Hospital Rehab Facility. A place to get better and move on with life! Experiencia negativa: What is really sad is that I have a friend who is that this location, and ALL I SEE as an answer to the bad reviews(which are very concerning) is "We will send this along to the appropriate contacts". Instead, the answer SHOULD BE "We have read all these negative reviews and we are appalled and ashamed that our service has been LESS than Satisfactory. We HAVE MADE Changes and MAJOR IMPROVEMENTS So that EVERY SINGLE PERSON that comes into our facility is treated and CARED FOR with the Utmost respect and QUALITY CARE they deserve. Nobody should endure inadequate healthcare. We apologize for our poor service. It has been Addressed, and Changed". This is the answer people need to see. Not "Oh. Well, we emailed somebody."

Experiencia fantástica: I would never imagine myself being in a rehabilitation center but I was at this location. And I have to say my experience here was top notch. If I ever have to return to a rehabilitation center I could only hope for a return to Van Matre. Every aspect of this location was professional and exceeded my needs. I love all the staff there who prepared me for returning home. Van Matre is a place that I highly recommend.

Experiencia negativa: My Brother-in-law was there in Feb of 2023. The Case worker sent him home with a wheelchair with two foot rests, instead of the support for his amputated leg, and they ordered him a second walker (he had one already) and no bath chair. He really wasn't ready to leave, he is still very weak, but I suppose they needed the room.

Experiencia negativa: My son's girlfriend was taken here for rehab after a very serious illness..she was,showing improvement but then sent hone too soon and without Dr or caseworker ordering proper equipment for home..care. very poor care!!!

Experiencia positiva: My father was in this facility for a few weeks after having a stroke, mostly having it take away his ability to move his left side or walk at all. Within the first 4-5 days there was a huge improvement in his hand movement and walking, eating and beginning to do stuff on his own again. This facility and their doctors, therapists and nurses were a huge help with getting my father back into doing what he can- even though it may seem to us that he was discharged early.. but he enjoyed his time there.

Experiencia negativa: I talked to nursing today as my son’s room was disgustingly dirty. Clothes urinate on , thrown in corner on the floor. The urinal on his food tray , next to bloody 2x2 ‘s . His chair heaping with dirty sheets and towel. Gowns thrown on the floor , next to discarded dirty gloves. His toilet was filthy dirty and there had been dirty clothes hanging on rail with feces on them. I understand I was told they will address and re-educate staff but this all is so basic . Cleanliness is a population that is there to heal . My son has not been clean himself and often smells when I arrive. I have washed him myself several times . I have complained more than once. He may get a quick wipe down but it’s not acceptable. None of this has been. Great I have had to leave my job to care for him when he is still in a facility. Ridiculous.

Unfortunately because of covid he could only have 1 visitor unless you went to his window. Which is tinted and hard to see in. There were times when it took awhile to get him something to drink. So I him brought him something myself. Overall,l don't have any complaints. They were helpful and answered all our questions.

Experiencia negativa: Never again would I allow a loved one to stay here. We were told this place was highly recommended and it would benefit my husband and took their word. Only good thing is the therapist and I suppose if you just needed that and have no other medical conditions you would be ok. Took me a 2nd caseworker for my husband that I was able to talk to a doctor. The nurses were nice, but many times my husband wasn't able to reach what was needed and know one would be around. The place is going through remodeling, but his room was not kept cleaned or neat. I have more complaints but I will not post them. Sorry for the rant, but it was a long 25 days there for my husband.

Experiencia negativa: Poor excuse for a medical facility. They lie, their patient care is awful. I wouldn't send my worst enemy there to die. I'd rather take my chances in a gutter than go there. Waste of space. What else can I say to talk to out of going to this place? Edit: Let me clarify. The doctor we have is exceptional. The OT, Emily is wonderful. The PT is adequate. The nursing staff is horrible. If they hire new nurses, maybe they can turn things around.

Experiencia positiva: When my son arrived it was a complete unorganized debacle to say the least. Discharge was unorganized slightly, but not nearly as bad . Im a very and attentive , demanding mother-that way regardless of what they feel about you , they knew i was on top of everything!!!!!I will say the kindness of staff and the coordination efforts by the caseworker, Amanda, were excellent. I just feel they are a tad short staffed.

Experiencia negativa: May 21st is my third day here and after extreme consideration on choosing Van Matre I cannot Express how disappointed I am with the nursing staff and the lack of bedside manners. They are rude and treat me like I'm just another number. When I need to hit the nurse button the avg response time is anywhere between 10 to 30 minutes. I've had to sit in my urine because I could not hold it in any longer. Last I feel that the staff blames the patient bcuz we are the inconvenience.

Experiencia fantástica: Was here originaly for having some falls. Durring my stay my nurse noticed me having some issues and got me to a hospital quickly as I was having mini strokes and didnt know it . Thanks to her and the staff they think they have found the cause. I cannot thank them enough. If people have a bad experiance they wernt trying to get better as they make you work to get better. I would especially like to thank a few people physical therapy will be Donna Jess and everybody else who helped me during my recovery a few nurses as well Linda and Lynn Reagan as well they all did a wonderful job keeping me upbeat and got me well fast I cannot remember everybody's name that help me but I want to thank everybody there you got me better that's what I needed. All the staff needs to be thanked they work hard to make sure that everybody is taken care of the way they need to be they sit with you if you're sad they help you prepare for life outside they are very appreciated by me and I know a lot of other patients I cannot thank them enough. I had to return and still had a wonderful experiance my nurse Jenice Heyob was excellent. I never was in need of anything she took great care of me. I wish for her to be recognized for her hard work for the patients.

It IS a tuff road Thank you to all the kind staff. My husband is left handed now & still has trouble, but he had to learn EVERYTHING ie. Walk, talk, feed himself & much more. We feel blessed ❤

Experiencia positiva: Update: the second time around here (due to lack of options and by the understanding of the ceo Jeff) was much better and how it should of been all along. Issues were addressed and the different team made all the difference (pt the same and as always excellent). My brother made great strides and now is well on his way to a more productive independent living situation. Thanks for caring enough to listen and made the best of the situation. The only good thing about this place was the physical therapy staff. Other than that a complete disaster. Took 3 weeks to even meet with an incompetent case worker Diana after repeated requests. Can’t trust a word dr b says cause he tells you one thing and does the exact opposite setting care of your loved one 10 steps back. And no one even communicates with you after a decision is made you will find out from a nurse and then get a run around while each blames someone else instead of just getting an answer. This place is a joke. It’s no wonder it’s going under and being bought out. DO NOT GO HERE!!!

Experiencia negativa: Day 1 and I am not impressed. My mother was given someone else's breakfast, at the time, she was not aware of since it was her first morning there. When lunch came around, my mother did not receive her lunch, however; she was given something that was thrown together last minute, which makes me believe, that is what they did to the other person for breakfast. My mother had to ask for her bed to made, and the pad to be changed, which was then FLIPPED OVER, when she asked for a fresh pad, the padding was left in a chair for her to throw away. Same nurse walked by her room numerous times, looking in and never picked up her lunch tray. It was still there at 5pm. I was given unclear information about children visiting. When I called, I asked are there any age restrictions for children to see patients at the hospital. I was told no, the only time there is an age restrictions is when it is flu season, and anyone under 18 cannot visit. But it is not flu season. However; I was told it also depends on the patient. I gave her my Mom's name, and she said yes, she fine. This is were it because unclear and it would have been very helpful to be told this little tad bit of useful information. After all, I did ask were there ANY restrictions. Children under 13 can visit, but they cannot go in the patient's room. And again, this is does not apply to every patient. On the brighter side of things, my mother really likes her physical therapist, but her occupational therapist had asked her to do things she was restricted from doing. This is just day one, and just some of the frustrating things that occurred today. This is only day one, things need to improve and improve fast. We were told this facility was the best in Rockford. Well.....if this is the best that Rockford has to offer, then shame on Rockford! Please, save your reply for now. I have read the scripted replies. Just make some improvements with staff all the way around. This is my first review, I'm hoping the next one is better, after all I did say my Mother's first day.
Experiencia negativa: My mother n law is there and do to their ignorance an lackof education of transfering with a hooyer ended up dropping her on her face breaking her eye socket ..cheek bone...and her nose then lying to her family telling them she was found face first on floor ...357 pound woman does not fall face first i floor as they describe now not just physical but mental trauma she May end up passing from ...its not right and the rn and cna have got clean away with this no repercussions to their actions i will never let her come back there

Experiencia fantástica: My husband just spent 2 weeks there, recovering from aspiration pneumonia , and we thought he got wonderful care there. The physical and occupational therapists he had were awesome. This was the 3rd time back here and we were very pleased with the treatment he received. The staff does work very hard and at times we had to wait on the call light to be answered, but the wait wasn't that long. A well pleased patient!!

Experiencia fantástica: My elderly mother has been a patient there on more than one occasion. She absolutely loved everything about being there. The medical staff is helpful, friendly and attentive. My mom highly recommends this place for your rehabilitation needs.
Experiencia negativa: Jodi Philips and I had the same experience. Too many drugs were given to my mother causing her be so lethargic. Staff blamed on everything else but the drugs. Drugs given were Tramodol and Dilaudid in combination plus two sleeping pills together. Put her on fluid restriction to the point one liter of saline was given at the emergency room for severe dehydration. Had to get her out of there. No rehab will help when drugged out of the mind and dehydrated! Van Matre, don’t even bother responding with your precanned message. Don’t care about your fake apology. My mother was better within 24 hours after leaving your facility. You had every chance to correct while she was there. It was addressed numerous times and you failed to respond properly.

OUR MOM WAS THERE FOR 12 DAYS AND AS EACH DAY WENT BY HER HEALTH CONTINUED TO DECREASE. THE NURSES WOULDNT LISTEN TO US SAYING SHE WAS NORMAL AND SHE WOULD ESTABLISH A BASELINE ON HER UM NO THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN DONE ON DAY 1 NOT DAY 11. NORMAL IS NOT IN A LETHARGIC STATE. HER DOCTOR THAT WAS SEEING HER EVERYDAY SHOULD HAVE NOTICE SHE WASNT HERSELF. SHE SURELY WAS NOT LIKE THIS WHEN ADMITTED. ON DAY 12 THEY FINALLY DECIDE TO DO SOME BLOOD & URINE TESTS. AS MAYBE HER LATHARGIC STATE COULD BE FROM A UTI, THIS HAPPENS IN OLDER PEOPLE WHEN THEY GET ONE. WE WERE TOLD NOPE NO UTI BUT THEY WERE GONNA SEND HER BACK TO OSF FOR FURTHER EVALUATION! THANK GOD BECAUSE SHE DID HAVE A BAD UTI! NOW AFTER BEING BACK IN HOSPITAL FOR 3 DAYS SHE IS STARTING TO BE OUR MOM AGAIN!
Experiencia negativa: As I can't give this place no starts I will give it only one. This place is hell. The nursing staff as well as the CNA's are over worked, underpaid, and overwhelmed as they are supposed to care for no less then 20-30 patients. The owners and management make excuses for the lack of staff. I stayed here after a hip replacement and upon arrival I was put into adult diapers because they didn't have enough staff to assist me to the bathroom. Surfing my stay of two months I saw an astonishing turnover rate in the CNA's of no less then 3 changes in those staff members. Some would work one day and never return because of lack of support. I will NEVER return here nor will I ever suggest too anyone they should come here. Also the food they serve is horrible. This place should be shut down as it is not fit for anyone to stay here nor recover from anything. The State needs to shut this place down!

Experiencia negativa: I am very disappointed in the way the gentleman that we take care of was treated. He could not get help when needed. They released him before he was ready. He is still sick and going back to the ER to be re evaluated. I think they need to retrain all their employees and get a better system in place. I would not recommend this place for anyone.

Of course there are always some struggles when you are searching for answers and are wanting a speedy recovery but overall the staff was always very helpful and friendly! Experiencia positiva: The staff was helpful at answering our questions. They kept my grandma comfortable and looked after her well. She said she was grateful for the nurses and doctors who assisted her in her recovery- and for that I'm happy. The food could be of better quality- fresher perhaps for nutritional reasons. Experiencia negativa: I wish I could give this place negative stars. The quality of care here is atrocious. Nurses sitting around at the nurses station talking while lights are going off. CNA's walking down the hallways passing lights, and at one point 2 CNA's that were walking together said they couldn't answer a light because they were busy with another patient, than went and sat at the middle nursing station. Night shift staff covered in blankets sleeping. One night I stayed with my grandma, even though staff told me I wasn't allowed to, because my grandma said no one takes her to the bathroom after she's in bed for the night. I witnessed this first hand, as she turned her call light on andno one came to answer it. After waiting for 20 minutes I finally went out to the nursing station, giving them the benefit of the doubt that they were busy, and the nurse says she doesn't toilet people, the CNA would have to do it. The CNA said she was going on break so would get her taken care of when she gets back. I ended up trying to help my grandma because no one was willing to help, but unfortunately she ended up on the floor. At that point the nurse than told me I'm not trained to transfer so I need to let the staff help her. After 35 minutes of waiting and no one wanting to help I'm not waiting any longer. These people that come to this facility come for help and rehab, and they're not getting what they pay for or come there for. My grandma stayed one more night before we transferred her to another facility.

Experiencia negativa: This place is a dump. While I was there they were working short staffed. Wound dressings weren't getting changed. Patients were yelling for help from their rooms with no response given to them. Employees on night shift would be sleeping, or watching tv on their electronic devices and not get up to answer call lights. Day shift would take almost an hour before call light would be answered. Employees walking around swearing while in ear shot of patients, or while in patient rooms. Staff talking poorly about patients where the patient amd family members can hear how much they dislike the patient they're caring for. Meds not given on time, patients laying and sleeping in their own waste for hours, if not all night. The falls that happen there are ridiculous, especially with the seriousness of the injuries. Anyone wanting good quality patient care won't find it here and I encourage everyone to find another facility for your loved ones.

Experiencia negativa: Our son had excellent care there first stay got him going again. Very noisy overnight hard time sleeping. Nurses talking outside his door all night long. Second stay there he developed blood clots in the lung and they kept treating with Atni anxiety drugs. Which when you feel you can't breathe you will get anxious. However they went as far as to have a meeting with us suggesting hospice. After talking to his oncologist, he said there was no way he could order hospice due to clean MRI. Also I witnessed call button response times of 25 plus minutes. Another disturbing incident was patient across the hall had to have a bowel movement and they didn't get to him on time and the 2 nurses were conversing in the hall at 7 pm and 1 said to the other let's leave it for the next shift to clean up. I also have photos of his call button placed on table away from his bed. With missed diagnosis like this it is our opinion Dr. Rozman needs further education or retirement. Someone will die from diagnosis like this ,just sure glad it wasn't our son.

Experiencia negativa: this was the premier facility in rockford after my last experience i will not tell others to go there the young therapist insulted me becuz i wore a depends the equipment was not cleaned after use they are very slow to answer call buttons at least you don't have a rommatethey are very expensive didn't let me know when my insurace ran out or that i was dropped from medicaid THIS MAY BE ONE OF THE FACILITIES SCAMMING MEDICARE
