Experiencia fantástica: I had been receiving chiropractic treatments for 20 years with diminishing relief from my pain and decided I needed to find something better. My chronic neck & shoulder pain was due to an old whiplash injury, which had caused degeneration in my neck. I tried Myofascial Physical Therapy at my doctor's prompting as she had received excellent reports on their therapy. I was a little skeptical to say the least. Dr. Carl thoroughly explained the entire process to me on my first visit & answered all my questions. It took a few treatments before I started to experience results. After a couple of years, I was totally pain free and released from their service with exercises to continue at home. I'm always able to make an appointment if needed in the future. However, that was two years ago and I'm happy to report I've experienced almost zero pain in my neck and have complete range of motion. I'm so thankful I gave Myofascial Physical Therapy a chance to prove their skills to me. The staff was extremely professional & discreet at all times. I urge anyone to give them a try. Experiencia negativa: I am very disappointed with this practice. We came to this clinic to be evaluated for scar tissue. They stated they could break scar tissue thru a series of therapy techniques. Nothing got better. Appointments were an hour with approximately 25 mins of hands on. For some reason one therapist(Carl) thought it was necessary for me to be worked on without my tee shirt, in my sports bra only. It was very uncomfortable. Obviously it was unnecessary, given the other therapists did not make me take off my tee shirt. I was constantly called by the office to reschedule my appt. time. When I cancelled, they would send me a bill stating I did not cancel. My insurance paid them very well. Recently, I was told by a surgeon, no therapist could ever get deep enough to break scar tissue. He stated it was a myth that therapist want patients to believe. I wasted a great deal of time going to these sessions. As a patient, I suggest you do your research before going to this clinic.
