Experiencia fantástica: Ryann Lewis is an incredibly talented, caring, and knowledgeable physical therapist. She was empathetic and patient with me, as I had a bad experience with another physical therapy place prior to coming to Rocklin PT. She worked with me individually and was understanding with my nervousness. I have been a dancer my entire life, in some capacity, and this knee injury scared me. It threatened the thing that brings me the most joy. The further injury with the other PT scared me even more. Now, my “injured” knee at times feels stronger than my other knee! I am starting to do all the things that brought me so much joy again with no fear (just a little caution lol)! Hiking, dance class, hot yoga, even jogging is back on the table! Thank you, Ryann!!!! You are the GOAT!

Experiencia fantástica: Can't say enough about Rocklin PT. I just finished 4 months of PT post shoulder surgery and never felt better. Ryann was off the charts amazing. She taught me so much about form and how to build strength, while keeping things fun and interesting. Her hands on therapy was awesome, always finding the right spot to release tension and muscle spasms. I'm happy to have progressed so well, and I'm gonna miss all the fantastic support!

Experiencia negativa: Dealing with Corina on many occasions is so unpleasant, just not worth it decided to start going to rebounds even though it’s further away from where we live

Experiencia negativa: My dr sent me to this facility for rehab. They called me and gave me an appointment. I came in for the appointment. They had me do some walking, 4 exercises, and the person pushed on a pressure point. The person told me to do 4 exercises at home (never gave me any information on them to do, any paper work, sent nothing through text-like they said) On my next appointment (two days later) they gave me a bill. They said I owed them right now $150 plus $75 for that days visit. They said it could cost more depending on my insurance but they didn’t know that yet. They also said I would have to pay each time I come in for however many appointments. They never called my insurance before to confirm with them to see how much I would have to pay nor did they call me to let me know how much this was going to cost. They knew my insurance information before hand. They never even told me that I needed to call my insurance to find out how much I would have to pay. Now I had to pay them $150. I’m very disappointed in Rocklin Physical Therapy. I guess everyone has $150 dollar lying around +75 + who knows $$$. My injury can’t even be fixed by rehab. It’s a meniscus tear. That is only one thing that I do not like about this place.

Experiencia fantástica: The team has been amazing!!! Had super amounts of pain w/arthritis in the lower back for years. Between exercising, isolating, and going here to right things, it has helped tremendously! Melody, Lisa, and Shanna have been nothing but helpful and supportive. Just had to right some wrongs in my movement and work on my back/hips. I sense I'll be pain-free for a while going forward just off excercises alone. I should note that I had no surgery. Just was sick of pain and immobility. I got an x-ray and a recommendation. I'm just so thankful that ruling out a disc or nerve issue is likely. My goal is to get back in the gym and back on my bike... and I think I might actually get there! Thank you!!!!!!

Experiencia fantástica: I was quite surprised by the fantastic customer service I received from Corina, who called me several times in two days as we awaited approval from my insurance company for therapy. She kept me informed, made additional calls to my insurance hoping to expedite approval, rescheduled me for a time a little later on the scheduled date, then immediately moved it back once approval was received. In addition, the physical therapy I received from Katie was extremely beneficial and encouraging as I realized that it was indeed possible to regain full range of motion for my broken humerus/shoulder. I highly recommend this clinic.

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve unfortunately injured my back. (L5-S1) I was set up with Rocklin PT - and I couldn’t be more grateful for the work and knowledge that comes from this establishment. The PT’s (especially Lisa, but also Ryann) have incredible skill sets that aid in recovery. It’s a very comfortable environment (even if you’re not necessarily comfortable yourself due to your injury), it’s easy to track your progress, and I can’t recommend Rocklin PT enough! If you have any PT needs please do yourself the favor and call and see if you can get in asap! They work with my PPO insurance plan and they might with yours as well. Don’t waste anymore time.. call them! You will be so glad that you did! Thank you Rocklin PT!

Experiencia negativa: My first visit with PT Derek for Peroneal Tendonitis was great. My second visit was with a new PT, PT Lisa Ball. She immediately had me cycling on a bike. I told her I thought it was a little extreme for my current state, but she said it was necessary to warm up. I immediately told her I thought it was too much because it was causing pain and numbness. She said it was what my body needed. Then we followed that up with about 30 minutes of strength building, which again I thought was inappropriate. On my first appointment all I did strength wise was 3 sets of 20 toe raises because I had just started moving my feet again. Toward the end, PT Derek walked by as he was leaving. Lisa said, “You can’t leave before me. I’m out of here as soon as I am done with this.” As a patient, that made me feel like she was just rushing me through and I was just an impediment to her getting off work. At the end of her strength routine my feet were killing me, but she said it was normal. She then said, “I can’t open your chart. Did they have you do laser therapy or stim last time.” It was right then that I realized she didn’t even know what I was there for and hadn’t even looked at the prior notes to understand where I was in the recovery process. I told her I had laser therapy. She then told another PT Assistant that I needed laser treatment for Plantar Fasciitis! I then informed the Assistant that I was not there for Plantar Fasciitis and that it was clear PT Lisa Ball hadn’t even looked at my file. The Assistant said, “Ah, we will focus on your Peroneal Tendons like last time.” I usually don’t write reviews, but I am sitting here at 4am and can’t sleep because my tendons are aching. This one visit has likely set me back weeks. I don’t know if PT Lisa Ball is just lazy or empathetic, but I think it is a mix of both. She clearly cared more about leaving than helping me recover. Proceeding with treatment without being able to review my prior visit notes was extremely unprofessional and unwise. I would avoid ever working with her.

Experiencia fantástica: Ryann Lewis is without a doubt the best thing to have happened to me this last year! I had a pretty extreme injury and she's worked with me as my physical therapist over the last 12 months. I am able to resume life again, and I couldn't have had this much success in recovery without her. Ryann is an incredible PT - She's smart, knowledgeable, and creative in how she tackles each individual's needs. She's empathetic and kind; she really listens to you and tailors your exercises to not just what your body needs, but she considers what you enjoyed doing before you were injured so that you can do it again. On top of it all, she's a fun, upbeat, and kind hearted person that makes you look forward to physical therapy. That aspect is incredibly important because it's harder to heal if you're stressed and sad (which often you are if you have to go to PT). I literally couldn't praise her and thank her enough. As for the rest of Rocklin physical therapy, it's hands down the best place I've ever been to for PT. Everyone is so nice and understanding, and the staff have gone above and beyond for me multiple times to get insurance sorted so that I can get treated. Hopefully I never have to go back to PT, but if I do I would go through great lengths to come back to Rocklin physical therapy.

Experiencia fantástica: After having surgery to repair a traumatic fully torn rotator cuff, fully torn bicep tendon, torn labrum and some cartilage cleanup, I was sent to Rocklin Physical Therapy for treatment. I severely underestimated the recovery time of this procedure, but I have been fortunate to have the help of the PT staff at RPT. They are great people and have done a good job of keeping me motivated and on the road to recovery. Highly recommend.

They showed me how to do some corrective exercises and appointments once a week so I had time to do them at home. Each week I was getting better until I had no pain anymore and still plenty of visits left through my insurance. Awesome place, highly recommend!

Experiencia fantástica: I went to Rocklin Physical Therapy because of a shoulder injury. My PT, Derek Haywood, was great! He listened carefully as I described the pain I was having and reviewed what had been diagnosed so far. He then put a program together that would promote healing, reduce the pain, and restore normal movement and strength. Although this was helping, I continued to have significant pain and limited arm movement so my doctor sent me for an MRI which determined that I needed arthroscopic surgery to repair several things in my shoulder. After taking some time to recover, I went back to see Derek for rehabilitation. He put a new program together for me, and once again, patiently worked at reducing my pain and restoring normal arm movements. His positive attitude encouraged me to do my best to heal so I could get back to gardening and doing daily tasks without pain. I highly recommend Rocklin Physical Therapy.

From being able to talk to a live person when I called, to the help of Cynthia, in the beginning, and the ongoing help of Derek made my exercising easier with the videos and handouts that I received during my long and shoulder process. The work done before surgery really helped me to have a quicker and stronger recovery. Derek was great and being able to help maximize everything I needed to do in order to meet my goals for recovery. I cannot recommend Rocklin Physical Therapy strong enough.

I had tried another physical therapy place in the area and was disappointed in the lack of understanding and professionalism I received. I switched to Rocklin Physical Therapy and am always pleased with their ability to assess what the problem is, what therapies to use and what exercises I need to repair the problem. The last two issues have been handled by Jen and I cannot say enough about how great she is at her job and what a pleasure she is to work with. The front desk is usually staffed now by Corina, such a pleasant and knowledgeable asset to the clinic.

When I walked out 13 weeks later I had almost full range of motion and was fully functioning again! I have been to Rocklin Physical Therapy to treat and rehab three seperate problems over the past 4 years for: Rehabbing a full-thickness partial tear in my rotator cuff. Rehabbing painful upper back and neck due to aging discs and bone spurs in my spine, and rehabbing severly arthritic thumbs. In each instance the therapists have been extremely thorough in evaluating and explaining what is going on, as well as explaining the plan to aleviate pain and maximize recovery. In all three instances the rehab has been very helpful and enabled me to continue an active life with enhanced strength and mobility as well as reduced pain. The entire staff is helpful, friendly and makes the experience a fun and positive experience.

With symptoms the result of a neck injury I was reluctant to comply with my doctor's recommendation for PT. You can imagine how fortunate I am that he specifically recommended this office. The staff is friendly and polite, the aides are enthusiastic, and my PT is just the best!!!

Experiencia fantástica: At this writing I continue my PT with Amber and team and I am showing great progress in range of motion and strength. I came to Rocklin Physical Therapy for numerous issues including several surgeries in the past two years. On top of the surgeries for over nine years I have been battling cancer and the side effects of cancer drugs which unfortunately metastasized last year which meant more radiation. Quite a year! When I first sat down with Amber she listened to my story and my physical issues. Amber quickly came up with a PT plan that I was onboard with immediately. Two weeks in as I mentioned above I have made excellent physical progress. I am doing things that I haven’t been able to do in several years! Thank you Amber and team! Experiencia fantástica: Having been through physical therapy before at a large medical institution, I can say that Rocklin PT’s staff, environment, culture are all very special. Will definitely return if ever in need of PT again.

Experiencia negativa: Having a back problem, I thought I would try Physical therapy, RPT being recommend I went to talk to them it seemed like a good choice. After getting a referral from my doctor I started the therapy at first, I was pretty excited very positive. First visit they showed me some stretches to do and a couple in the next visits showed me more. After a few visits they start with you doing all your stretches they showed you I thought this was strange I was doing them daily at home, kind of thought this was a waste of time my insurance and me for paying for an hour. Then when they had an open spot they would call if I could come in, lets keep those empty seats filled. Then numerous times I told them I was having a surgery (not back related) and I won’t be coming for at least a month, the calls kept coming that was it I was done. I did like the therapist showed me some good stretches most the assistant on the floor are pretty good there were a couple I would have got their checks. The office really needs some improvement lot of miss communication. My back has no pain now a month of recovery from a surgery took care of that. I will continue with the stretches I learned. Next time I think about Physical therapy I’ll ask my General practitioner for a recommendation.

Experiencia fantástica: Went in a skeptic that nothing could really be done for my hip pain and stiffness. I was thankfully very, very wrong. Adam and the staff at Rocklin Physical Therapy have helped me immensely. Back to normal now and feeling great. I'm a believer. You owe it to yourself to at least give it a try ...!

Experiencia negativa: Unsatisfied and disappointed. The biggest issue I had were their semi-predatory business practices. First, members of my family have been in and out of different therapists and we've never had this specific issue. I do a routine procedure that I have never been charged to do before. Not only was I charged for it, but I wasn't notified that it would cost extra money until after the fact. The cost was low, but it's the principle of nickle and diming customers. My son literally had the same procedure done at a different office and he was not charged for the same service. If you don't want unexpected charges for procedures that SHOULD NOT come out of your own pocket I would recommend going to another practice.
