Experiencia positiva: I’m giving the two stars specifically for Nurses Sara (simple and easy to work with, treats her patients like actual humans) , Pooja (above and beyond in her caregiving-very comforting and gentle), Amy (on top of her job and to the point - making things effortless and easy) & Doctor Kaasi - nit sure if name is correct (listens to his patients, attentive, early to his patients and very caregiving) & Housekeeping (manager it seemed) Michelle (she was a light to see, always on top of her job, handles patients like it should be and so sweet/attentive) they were all wonderful. I had amazing care between all of them and this hospital was upheld by staff like them. They are true angels and made one of the hardest moments my body has ever gone through. I am not giving 5 stars due to Nurse Crystal K (she had terrible bedside manner and was incredibly rude, basically yelling at patients and preventing care, manipulating other staff members and against her patients. She was truly awful and made a very heartbreaking time of my life so much worse. I wouldn’t think of her as a “nurse” by any means. She did come around a bit towards the end though) & Doctor Lanhom (rude, dismissive, treats patients like burdens), Doctor Javad Haseli (incredibly abrupt, aggressive and rude, doesn’t want to give the care needed for his patients. Will shut you down and speak loudly over you like a child. Told me I didn’t need surgery in hospital just to send me home with discharge papers to get a referral for surgery needed so having me jump through hoops in excruciating pain)

Experiencia negativa: I'll probably give 2 different reviews because I love my OB doctor and labor and delivery care. This review is for the Sutter Operator health line for Alyssa. I needed her help and was having very serious pregnancy symptoms. All other operators had transferred me to the right place. She suggested I get ahold of my OB doctor (on a Saturday when I don't have their personal care line and I told her) to figure out what was going on. When I told her about the hours and stuff she simply said "this is the best I can do for you" no, it's not I've been on the line with over 4 different operators who smoothly got me where I needed to be in cases where I was a little frantic. I spent about 5-10 minutes of excruciating symptoms trying to navigate my call history and end up on the right line myself. Very disappointed and feel like she was either just lazy or improperly trained which, either on a Saturday for any medical issues is unacceptable.

Experiencia negativa: I was in Sutter Roseville for 4 days. Nurses were very nice. I have a somewhat rare condition. A bad bladder and kidney infection . They had to send my blood work out of town. I went in because of 103.2 fever and sick to my stomach for three days. The doctor today discharged me. She admitted saying your not fixed but we now the right meds.YOU'LL BE FINE HA HA. So I get home and get a 102 fever and upset stomach We called Sutter and they told my wife they we were discharged and they were no longer responsible for my health Craziest statement I've ever heard GM

Experiencia positiva: I have visited this medical center several times, and everything is always well-organized with a reasonable wait time. The medical staff are professional, and the facility is well-equipped, especially for an emergency center. However, during flu or COVID seasons, expect significantly longer wait times.

Experiencia negativa: One of the operators is absolutely horrible and disrespectful. Everytime I call she immediately says pease hold and keeps me on hold to never come back to the phone. This has been going on for months now

Mike Gyver 10 months ago

Experiencia negativa: I'll never understand the incompetence and trash communication at hospitals. I'm somewhat of an experienced hospital connoisseur. I specifically asked the operating doctor if his orders were going to change when my wife was transfered from the surgery post-op area to the overnight stay area of the hospital. I asked this because we've experienced changes in orders when switching from post-op to the overnight ward. The doctor assured me nobody would change his orders. Boy was he wrong. It was all downhill from there. Typical late pain med administration, understaffed, excuses, etc.

Experiencia negativa: Very disappointed. I came in for an ultrasound. Should have taken 20 minutes tops! I was told to undress and sit on the table. I sat there for a hour and a half waiting. Mind you I live an hour away and had a 3:00 appointment. I sat in the room for an hour and a half and not one person walked in but yet if you are 10 minutes late they make you leave be reschedule. My husband walked in the hall at one point and asked how much longer it would take because we had our children to pick up and they told us 5-20 minutes. We waited another 15 minutes and nobody showed up. I got dressed to leave and will not be continuing care here. I’m beyond disappointed at the professionalism here.

Experiencia negativa: My sister was in here for a possible blood clot in her arm where her pic line is located, she has a brain infection where she needs IV antibiotics in her pic line every 8 hours. She was there hours and the staff placed her in the hallway and then never brought her medication for her infection she was due for her meds 14 hrs ago!!! So she left. This place sounds disorganized and unprofessional.

Experiencia positiva: I’ve been here 4 times now for emergencies and all of them took about 6 hours. I get it a major trauma center but after all the tests, they have zero interest in finishing the job. When you do get admitted, it’s a longer wait and lots of time in a hallway until a room is ready. They did all the tests and I’ll give them props for that but hope you don’t expect to get out of here in any kind of timeliness. I had to go to Mercy san Juan and was out in about 3 hours.

Sutter Roseville Medical Center

We're disappointed to learn about the wait time, Dan. We know how important prompt attention is and will share this feedback with our team.

Experiencia negativa: My aunt has a serious infection in one of her eyes and it’s affecting her vision. We waited over 2 hours for her to get treated and ended up just leaving because the staff were taking forever. They kept telling us they’d call for her soon but then they never did. Worst hospital in Roseville.

Sal Nazari 1 year ago

Experiencia fantástica: I've been to this hospital few times. From registration to seeing doctor, I had nothing but great staffs, Nurses, and doc who sometimes made jokes to make me feel better. Those who put negative reviews you people have no patience, want quick treatment and leave FYI Everything precedure has to be done step by step, and if the staff tried to get patience out quick you will ALL still complain they didn't treat you properly. People when you go to hospital have bit of patience the staffs are there to help you.

Experiencia negativa: This might be the worst ER department. The wait is always hours long and the lack of people wearing masks is insane. People are all sitting in group areas and coughing, hacking and wheezing. Once in back, even if priority, the wait and response time can be long... a recent visit for my elderly mother was 2 hours in the waiting area, another 10+ hours in an ER room, with few doctors visits, then finally an admittance after another 2 hours. If you have an option. Take it.

Experiencia negativa: I wish there was a zero star for this, several months ago I gave birth to my baby, I was in building two( the birthing center) they were great, how ever I got transferred to building one It was a nightmare! Some of the nurses were good but some of them I feel didn't do there jobs like regular nurses should! Some of them had really bad attitudes and I felt very neglected by them, I also had the pleasure of meeting a very unprofessional lactation consultant, she was RUDE!!!!! She embarrassed me in front of my family, my partner who was walking in the hallway to get to my room, he had over heard this lactation consultant talking about me to one of the nurses at the nurses station, she was talking about what I was eating and just gossiping about me once she saw my partner go into my room, she did later came in and said I needed to drink more water. I felt very judged by her and the rest of the team, I had felt very uncomfortable being there, I will not be returning to this joke of a hospital, if you want to feel judged, discriminated,or neglected this is the hospital for you!

We want to do do better and will share your experience with the proper teams, Victoria. If you haven't, consider providing more details about it via the following link: https://bit.ly/49d2p29 We hope you and your family are all doing well and thank you for bringing this to our attention.

Experiencia fantástica: About a two months ago my father in law was admitted to their oncology department. The times my family and I were there he had Ernesto and Brian as his nurses and I must say they both did an exceptional job taken care of all his needs. From what my mother in law stated is that Brian went above when my father in law did not feel great. He was right on it and had a full team of doctors around him. And I can say the same goes for Ernesto. Thank you for making sure my father in law was taken comfortable. Thank you for everything room 187.

Experiencia negativa: Overall good Service through the staff and security guards, but I lost one of my items when I was rushed by the last staff member she did not give me any time to take all my items together. My last item is more than $40. I lost $40 Worth In the hospital Because one of the staff members is being unprofessional and rushing me out of the door. Experiencia positiva: Brought my father for appointment. Staff friendly , timely. However, the light fixtures in cardiology have about 4 missing bulbs, entry all out but one bulb. Fixtures are filthy. You can see hand prints where someone touched them and wiped off dirt. Services great but a hospital should be extra clean in my opinion

Experiencia negativa: I had a horrible experience at this hospital. I checked in with Abnormal heavy bleeding feeling sick, dizzy and very weak. Unfortunately I was sighed to doctor Scott Borelli,PA. It's hard to call him" doctor" becouse he was rude inpatient and ignoring explaining of my symptoms. He kept me waiting bleeding from 9:30 am to 9 pm in the hallway all day with out drinking water and eating! He only came to say quickly that my results are ok and he ordered CT scan... at 8:30 pm I was taking to do CT scan and with out explanation nurse came grabbed my hand and nervously took my blood again. Turns out I had a vaginal bleeding all that time and my Hemoglobin dropped down. The nurse during all this time was rude, didn't care to stop by to check how I was feeling. When I asked for a cup of water she said that I am not a priority and I should wait. I was thirsty from 9:30 am to 2 pm.. until one of the male nurses brought me water because he heard our conversation. Unfortunately I don't know the name of the nurse. I was very weak and exhausted bleeding hungry, thirsty, hopeless , confused and terrified, confused and Left in the hallway waiting ... Around 8:30 pm the doctor realized that I needed to be seen by OBGYN but they were busy so he pulled me to the first available room and did the exam himself... saying" oh yeah I see blood"...then he said: if it makes you feel any better I should be out 30 minutes ago..I told him that I didn't get help from the doctor, I was tortured by him and his nurse all day... they discard me home with low hemoglobin and not knowing why am I bleeding. Before I was leaving hospital the nurse gave me morphine without medicine from nausea, so on my way home I was throwing up badly and bleeding, feeling so weak almost passed out. This is not the first time I am patient of doctor Scott Ryan Borelli. My first experience with him was even worse. I honestly think that he peak patience that are coming to hospital alone and don't speak English well...I felt discriminated, neglected unworthy of care or help attention I needed. Because of that experience I am terrified to go back to that hospital so I don't get to be sighed to see doctor Scott again. I did ask at the reception desk when I was checking in to be seen by different doctors and explain why, but they didn't care or didn't take my request seriously. I want to believe that this post somehow will help others not to get treated the way I was!

Experiencia negativa: We have been waiting for months to get into an oncologist after a cancer diagnosis with Dr Reddy and. They finally tell us we are going to start chemo on him next week and then they put us off again today because they can’t get him in to put a port in his neck for another 13 days so we are put off another treatment start day and in the mean time I’m watching him get weaker and thinner.. I’m really losing faith in Sutter Health. 4 or 5 months that they put us off could mean a difference in his life!

Experiencia negativa: My husband has been in sutter roseville for 20 hours now and he still hasn't gotten a diagnosis yet. They've taken every possible test hours ago and nothing. We moved to a regular room about 4 hours ago and a nurse still hasn't come by. We asked for lunch at 12 and it's almost 2 and he still hasn't eaten anything. They've been pumping him up with pain meds and giving him other stuff and we have no idea what it is or why they're giving him that. They just stuck us in a room with another person and I could barely walk in there. They gave the other patient lunch and still nothing for my husband. I'm sitting here at sutter roseville and have had no sleep and we've had extremely poor service since 10pm last night. And we still don't know what's going on. We have no idea who our nurse is and no one is at the nurses station. I'm completely beside myself right now. This is unacceptable in every level you can think of!!!!

Experiencia fantástica: I went into Sutter Roseville Emergency Room on Tuesday evening (07/09/2024) with severe abdominal pain! There was quite a few other people in the ER waiting room. They were professional, kind and caring - which you don’t usually see in today’s world, sometimes it’s just a job - but they were awesome and really made you feel cared for. I was assessed by an ER doctor who had wonderful bedside manner, kind and also little funny - I don’t remember his name - but thank you to him! They immediate had me do an EKG to make sure my heart was ok… and shortly after took my blood and got me set up with an IV to have a CT scan and ultrasound. - turns out it was my appendix. It had burst!! So they immediately brought me up to the OR and I remember transferring over to the OR bed - but that’s all I remember. I woke up in recovery. All the ER team, OR surgeon team and recovery team was amazing - very caring and thoughtful! Extremely professional and high standards! I had wonderful care! They then had me transferred to a room to have me admitted for observations - I could have died! But they saved my life! Thank you! They brought me up to the rehab building - which I believe is building 6… I had several nurses there and many were amazing! Some I don’t remember their names - but some of the ones I love and appreciate are Ashlee, Susie, Nathan - and Rashawnda … Rashawnda helped me shower, it’s hard when you are at the mercy of others - but her kindness and care was so extremely caring! She made me feel like it was not a burden and she was happy to help me!! She made me feel a million times better and always had a wonderful smile that everyday I would see her made me feel better to have her there!! I always looked forward to seeing her!! Ashlee and Susie were attentive and explained things to me, they were also very caring and do very well at their jobs! Always with smiles! Making sure I was doing ok. Would help whenever I needed it! Nathan was also very good! He is highly professional but also caring - he’s very regimented - I never had to bother because he was on top of his game always!! Thank you for such good care and professionalism! My entire surgery team checked on me often and were also very wonderful!! Thank you! There were many others that I loved who showed kindness and compassion through-out my stay with Sutter… I was released last night (07/13/2024) I am still recovering myself at home and my have a lot of support at home as well… but these people were amazing to me while I almost died and was at their mercy - thank you so much for your professionalism and care to help me through these difficult moments!! I appreciate everything you have done for me!! Thank you so much from myself and my family and friends who are just as thankful to you for caring for me! I had a wonderful experience with you through this!! You made me feel human and cared for! I hope Sutter recognizes the staff and people who played a role in my surgery and recovery! One of the best hospitals I have ever experienced!! You have a fan and hardcore backing from me! They will know me under Patricia Amarante - due to what is on my insurance information. Words can not express how thankful I am for you all!!!

We went to this hospital in what we believed was another stroke, and what did they do, well, they said not only did she not have a stroke but she has absolutely nothing wrong with her, it's a medical Miracle, no it's not, it's this hospitals attempt to limited their exposure to medical services for patients due to their insurance, I would like you to understand that we will never stop until your entire organization is no more.

I had altitude sickness. My post ER appt discovered that clearly. I also had rheumatoid arthritis and advanced hEDS on top of the altitude sickness. Wasn't my sodium intake after all. That was the first and only time Sutter ever saw my money. If my body hadn't have resolved the issue naturally, by the time they were done dismissing my symptoms, I could've had very serious long consequences. But, male ER docs have a data supported history of dismissing female patients pain and symptoms. Hopefully they do better now. But California post covid. I doubt it.

Experiencia negativa: Went 6/22/24 for abdominal pain. Took some blood and a pee sample then brought me to a room and a doctor came in and kind of seem like they’re trying to get me out, pretty much told me to take some ibuprofen and Tylenol and that scan wouldn’t do anything. I told them I’ve had this pain for seven months and they kind of seem like they’re brushing it off. I left the hospital in pain still, and with no resolution, very disappointed and sad. Please do better for your patience in pain and don’t just rush through us.

Experiencia negativa: Came here twice a few months ago, first time I came in was 6 months after my first baby, with pain in my lower right stomach area, a nurse pushed in my stomach a few times didn’t feel anything… Sent me home to see my general doctor. Ran No test or anything. Next time I came in a few months later in an ambulance because I was having terrible pain in my lower right stomach and was vomitting a lot of red stuff. Got into the hospital I kept telling them Im scared because I was having terrible pain and all the nurses I tried to call over to me gave me a mean mug and said someone will be with you or said nothing. They still ran no test and sent me home because my pain went away while waiting. My OB is telling me I have an umbilical hernia… which could have been figured out both times I went to the emergency room but they ran NO TESTS. I have never went to a hospital especially a sutter where they dont figure out whats wrong with you before you leave… You might as well go to the Sutter in Sacramento, at least they will run tests to make sure you are okay before you leave. Now that Im having another baby I will be giving birth in Berkeley because I dont trust no hospitals in roseville, and my doctors in carmichael also dont take me serious. I know Roseville sutter emergency room has trouble with taking a black woman seriously. I have a few family members who are also black and they were sent home to their doctors before knowing what was wrong with them.

Experiencia negativa: Was brought in by ambulance a year and a half ago. Had covid but it went into my intestinal system. After treatment was released 4 days later only to be brought back two more times by ambulance all 6 to10 days apart for a total 15 days in this hospital with no cure and mistake after mistake. Misdiagnosed., failure to collect specimens correctly or specimens compromised. Had sepsis and had C diff but they didn't catch it. Fourth time ambulance to another hospital Mercy San Juan in full blown sepsis due to Cdiff that had been raging in my body during all hospital stays at Sutter. MSJ caught it right away, saved my life as my white blood count was so dangerously high. If I could have given this hospital 0 stars I would have!!!! Use caution when admitted to Sutter Roseville.

Experiencia fantástica: My Wife came in with extream pain in her lower right abdomin. Imaging presented a foreign object which perforated her colon. They got her in and did emergency surgery that same night. Post op care has been phenomenal. Everyone is polite and attentive to detail and her needs. I have been somewhat of a helicopter husband and the staff has been very patient with me. I am thankful for these people.

Experiencia negativa: My mother went into the ER for her foot, and never came back out. The Dr gave her fentanyl and a type of penicillin. My mother had an immediate reaction and told the nurse she couldn't breathe and felt burning and itchy (all symptoms of anaphylaxis) the nurse then told her "you can breathe if you're talking" then stood back and watched as my mom panicked because of what she was feeling. She grabbed my husband, who witnessed it all, and asked him for help. The nurse did absolutely nothing until my mom finally passed out and went into cardiac arrest. I got there to them performing CPR. She went into cardiac arrest 3 times before she died. And the Dr just stamped her heart condition as cause of death, and never returned my call. SHE WAS THERE FOR HER FOOT. That nurse NEGLECTED her and did not listen to her!! My mom could have still been here if that nurse didn't wait. Do not send your loved ones here.

They kept me company during the night and day! much love to all the staff, thank you for your hard work and dedication as healthcare workers

Experiencia negativa: NO PARKING, NO PRIVACY. ER PATIENTS ARE OUT IN A HALLWAY BEING EXAMINED AND DISCUSSING THEIR TREATMENT WHEN THERE ARE NO ROOMS ABAILABLE. VIOLATING THEIR PATIENTS RIGHT TO PRIVACY!! I WILL PURSUE THIS COMPLAINT TO THE FULLEST. THE DOCTOR HAS COMPLAINED ABOUT THIS ISSUE WITH THE HOSPITAL BUT NO RESOLUTION. Experiencia negativa: So my family member who’s in their 90s went in, found to have a wrist fracture sent home with no pain med prescription and told her only Tylenol. What is our wold coming too with lack of compassion for pain or are these doctors so scared of liability. Please please please, if you have a bad experience, speak to quality at Sutter or fill out the Press-Gainey surgery and tell them how bad they are. In this case Kaiser is likely winning for sure! Experiencia negativa: Sutter Health Roseville ER is horrible. I am not one to write bad reviews and I have been to this establishment for emergencies before and they are better than this. My boyfriend woke his mom and I up at around 4 AM from him profusely vomiting and other things. As soon as we got there, there was a wait which is typical. My whole main concern is that the ladies who took his vitals. (never got the two of their names or anything but have a description of what they look like) After we had spoken with the doctor we were left in this room with a curtain awaiting a bed for him. I cannot stress enough how many times he and I made them aware that he will need to throw up and go to the bathroom every 15-30 minutes. They didn’t care. The curtain was open as he was laying on the floor telling me that his pain was so bad he felt as if he was going to faint. Again the wait times were not a problem as this is a normal thing. But these two ladies who we had previously talked to were laughing and pointing at my boyfriend as he literally went to the bathroom in his pants. I was bewildered by their behavior. Employees were walking by his room just looking as they walked by at him crying in pain on the ground of this room. I asked for anything to clean him with and this lady had told me once she was done doing what she was doing she would. After 10 minutes I see her laughing and talking with the two nurses who had already been making fun of him. I then asked her again (in case she forgot) and she just sat there and stared and said “I’m not done doing what I’m doing” I felt like I couldn’t really do much. 5 more minutes pass and the lady who said she would help is now gone and I can’t find her. I asked a different nurse if she would help me find her to which she responded yes but then someone called her over to look at a picture of their dog and she immediately went there and didn’t even help. Finally we got him into a bed, the lady who took care of him didn’t seem to know what she was doing when she took his blood and put an IV in him. She instead of angling the needle up his vein pushed it down from the top causing him to scream in pain. He has had several blood work done due to previous medical issues and it had never hurt this bad for him. Again the peoples behavior here was disgusting, rude, and honestly seemed very illegal for how they should be acting in something as important as an ER setting. He also was placed in a hallway but no shocker there they don’t really care about HIPPA violations. If I could give 0 stars I would. In this case I would be careful with these nurses who don’t know anything and are acting like this for a minor emergency. Imagine a huge emergency that is super traumatic they would probably act like this as well.

Experiencia positiva: BILLING ISSUES: Hospital staff in ER was great; Drs saw us timely considering it’s an ER; CT staff, transport, vascular RN, were all great, esp Zach RN who kept me posted the entire time he was on shift. He also had great bedside manner and introduced himself to me at beginning of his shift when my other nurse ended their shift. Ty Zach for easing my nerves while my son was in the ER! My issue is with BILLING. We have great insurance. Yet unbeknownst to me CT department did not submit bill to our insurance although I provided insurance info to ER staff upon request at time of stay. I woke up to email from MyHealthOnline that I had an unpaid bill of $900 for CT scan (reading) and that it was my responsibility to pay it. I reached out to their billing dept via phone and was told that I shouldn’t have gotten a bill as it’s too early and to just ignore it. That was on a Friday. Monday morning I woke up to another email message notifying me of my unpaid bill. I reached out to billing via Chat portal this time. I was told insurance info was not crossed over from ER to CT dept. so no insurance was billed. How was I as a patient supposed to know that!? Not once did the girl Ashley on chat apologize for the lack of communication on their part. Feel like they are just $ hungry like most hospitals.

Late to my appointment, only to find out that they never checked to see if they were contracted with my insurance company’s which they were not. They says that the people who answer the phones, don’t deal with insurance. What a waste of time. Going to Dignity Health.

Experiencia negativa: This was my 3rd multiple night stay after surgery. This was not a pleasant visit. When a nurse sits at the nurses station, where she can be heard by all, complaing about patients that do not belong on the surgical floor. Naming the physician who was treating these patients, so we knew who we were. The majority of the nurses were excellent, busy working and getting their job done, unfortunately when I was discharged they were not available. I was told to contact my ride, get ready to leave and she would be in to go over everything. Over an hour later one of the assistants called transport and I left. Never saw a nurse, never covered any discharge orders. Certainly felt like I was not wanted there and my health meant nothing. Disappointing for a long time Sutter patient.

Experiencia negativa: Most of the staff in the NICU are amazing, sadly we got stuck with a bad apple the day we were due to go home and it seems like she will do anything in her power to agitate you so they have a reason to kick you out and keep your baby longer without you being able to be there. Its not right for the nurses to treat people less than dirt on the ground, there is zero respect that a few nurses here have and should not be working here (Tammy Power) you should be ashamed to have these individuals working here. Parents beware when you have your babies here. Best is to do your research on where to go, try to meet the staff and never let them pressure you into anything you don't want for your baby, again it only takes a few bad apples to make a beautiful time a bad time and since day one that's what it has been, a bad experience. We will be choosing a better hospital for baby #4

Experiencia negativa: This review is for ProPark, which Sutter Medical Contracts with for valet parking during construction. Google would not open a new review page for them, and since they are a subcontractor for Sutter Medical, I am leaving the review here to warn others about using this service. If I could give no stars, I would. On December 6, 2023 I had an appointment at Sutter Medical Offices in Roseville, CA. Due to continuing construction, there were no available parking spaces, and I was forced to use valet parking in the garage. The attendant lost my key. I was told that a locksmith would come to my house in a day or two to replace it. Once they found out I had a back up key on me, I started to encounter delay after delay and lie after lie about what was happening with processing the claim. We're now a month out. I was told on December 29, 2024 that my claim was approved, and I needed to submit an estimate from the Toyota dealer to replace the electronic key. I did this, and requested reimbursement for my time and mileage to take care of the matter myself. I was told today, after I had to yet again follow up to no response to my December 29, 2024 email and estimate that I would not be reimbursed for my time and mileage, only for the replacement cost of the electronic key and reprogramming my other key and car. Toyota estimates that it will take three to four hours to do this. That is three to four hours out of my work day for their incompetency and error, losing my property. I have reported this to the State of California Attorney General's Office and am at the point where I will probably have to take this to small claims court to be fairly compensated. In the meantime, this whole month I have been worried about my vehicle being stolen because there is a key floating around out there somewhere, and the ProPark employees requested a photograph of the back of my vehicle (license plate) from which they could get identifying information. I don't know if Sutter Medical has options when choosing contractors to provide valet service, but I would hope that, from reading the reviews about this company on the BBB site, they would choose a company with more integrity and professionalism.

Experiencia negativa: I would give a -100,000 star if I could. Went to the ER in Roseville after being sent by my 10 month olds doctor. We checked in a 4:00PM and waited almost four hours to only be able to see a PA. Then we waited over 6 hours just to get his x-ray (he was being seen for not being able to breath). I completely understand hospital visits take a long time!!!! This post is not necessarily about that. However, we were never able to speak to a doctor about his x-ray results but instead were read the notes by a reception nurse (this is unacceptable!!!!). Then we had a medical technician come out and want to take his oxygen levels, mind you my baby was sleeping and they wanted to wake him up to have him cry in the lobby while waiting another 6 hours!!! The medical technician said this is what was needed then my child would be discharged? We were so confused as we thought we were doing a breathing treatment and waiting the results of the babies x-ray. We had no idea what was going on with our child and ZERO I mean ZERO COMMUNICATION FROM ANYONE!!! We never got to speak to an actual doctor despite my many attempts to request one! I have Kaiser for my daughter and LOVE KAISER!!!!! We will be switching our child to Kaiser ASAP!!! This momma bear is furious.

Experiencia negativa: If you can avoid coming here at the ER, please do. It was a horrible experience, with extremely long wait times, unprofessional registration staff, phlebotomists, and security. They kept giving us the runaround and after hours of waiting, the original doctor in the triage never documented anything that she ordered. We’ve been to other hospitals and this was by far one of the worst experiences. The registration staff needs to remember why they work in healthcare because their attitude and lack of care is absolutely pathetic. I would never trust any of them with my family’s life. I am a healthcare provider myself, and I’ve worked at the VA hospital, and never would I have the audacity to ever treat a patient like they don’t matter. Respect and professionalism is lacking here and they need to do something about it before I report them to the medical board. I encourage the management to find the staff more support and work on retraining before someone’s life gets taken too soon due to poor negligence on the hospital staff’s part.

Experiencia negativa: I brought my husband in with kidney & liver failure on a Thursday night in late August & after about 4 hours or so, he was admitted to ICU. Friday night to early morning Saturday he went into respiratory failure & put on a ventilator. He had contracted pneumonia FROM THE HOSPITAL. Sunday the doctor said he wouldn't make it through the night. Monday he was still alive. Then I found out I could participate in the rounds each morning at 9am. I would go every day & listen to what they said & give input. I learned a lot & also gave suggestions that the doctors didn't even think about. Then hubby contracted ESBL, a form of eColi, FROM THE HOSPITAL. So then everyone had to wear disposable gowns, gloves and face masks. So now he couldn't even feel human touch. He was deprived of nutrition & only given sugar water for days, hindering him from gaining strength. When he finally was given a nutritional drip he started to gain strength & was seeming to get better. Then the doctors said he wasn't improving & tried to get me to pull the plug. Hubby was fully aware & could nod yes or no, make facial expressions, give thumbs up, but couldn't talk because of the ventilator. He did not want to die. So then the doctors said he needed a tracheostomy because they can't keep the ventilator in for more than 2 weeks. So he had that done. During this time, hubby was also having dialysis since his kidneys weren't working. One day when his abdomen was severely distended, physical Therapy came in and sat him upright and strapped him in a chair. I mentioned that might not be comfortable since his stomach was so bloated. A strange noise started coming from the ventilator & I asked them about it. They didn't care. When the chest x-ray technician came in, I left. Not 20 minutes later, a doctor called & said hubby had a collapsed lung & they needed to put in a chest tube! Also, he had contracted a fungal infection FROM THE HOSPITAL. From this point, the doctor took him off the nutritional drip since his stomach was not absorbing it. He went 4 days with no nutrition & became weak again & too tired to fight anymore. The doctor never discussed IV nutrition which i had previouslysuggested & I really think they gave up on him after 3 1/2 weeks. Hopefully, you will never get his last nurse, Yulia. She was very unprofessional & has no empathy for patients or their family. Before I entered the room & as i was putting on the disposable gown, gloves & mask, she loudly kept asking me if I or anyone in my household was immuno compromised because everything in the room is contaminated from him & I could take it home to them. As if she didn't want me there! He caught that FROM THE HOSPITAL. Then at his bedside, she loudly said he only had hours to live at most, that day. I thought this to be highly negative since he most likely heard her, even though he was asleep. Was she the nurse of death? I had to leave for a short time to get something to eat & his vitals were stable. I was gone maybe an hour & when I came back, he was critical & she & the doctors did nothing. They just allowed his blood pressure to keep dropping until his heart stopped & he passed away

Experiencia negativa: I will preface this review by saying we had some good nurses. We also had a great case worker at the end of the hospital stay. This review is not a direct reflection of all of them; but it’s definitely aimed at the “doctors”; if you can actually call them that: I am amazed at the extreme lack of knowledge and common sense I’ve seen with these doctors. It’s astonishing and scary. It’s almost as if they went to school using the backs of cereal boxes as their curriculum. It’s clear the aim is to run a ridiculous amount of tests that have nothing to do with the patients issues to make money from the insurance agencies. They completely disregard factual medical history and come up with their own buffoonery as a cause to the problem. OR — they make no educated effort to help the patient find the problem. If you have an elderly loved one they will leave them in the trenches to rot as it is not profitable for them to come up with effective treatments. They’ll actually recommend you send them home with hospice care because they lack any and all health related knowledge. If they can’t tell you what’s wrong… there is no logical answer out there. Thank The Most High Yahuah. He created us and has given us the knowledge to heal ourselves through herbs, fruits, and vegetables. I encourage you to filter through the success stories where patients have disregarded the odds that “doctors” like these have given them, and through a will to live, applied these eating habits which reversed their diseases. That is what we are now pursuing. If you are seeking healing — find a doctor or nutritionist with real researched and applied knowledge. I suggest holistic doctors and nutritionists. Conventional medicine is a joke and will only make your loved ones health decline at a greater rate; unless they have the will to seek out their own therapies. Also, I don’t understand how these “doctors” are so arrogant and entitled when they know absolutely nothing. They can answer none of your questions about the test results nor can they read the test results correctly! Parking: Absolute trash. You circle many times over and try to beat the next car just to park. Food: Absolute trash. Unhealthy. Disgusting. Overall healthcare knowledge: Bottom of the barrel.

Experiencia negativa: 6+ hours in emergency. I explained when I checked in I have COVID and on Paxlovid. Yet they still put me in the lobby with dozens and dozens including several babies and a good number of elderly. The EDt was packed and I worry how many I infected!! I have labored breathing and the whole 9. This is a nightmare. Test results were online 3 hours before they called me back. Lastly I didnt get results for one of my labs. I'm so sick I forgot about it until I returned home. Since not online I can only assume the UA never happened. Sutter...if you can't handle the workload DIVERT! Outside of the ED you have a solid organization with great customer service. Maybe a renewed focus on ER protocols is warranted.

Experiencia negativa: The nurses at Sutter Roseville are some of the rudest human beings I’ve come across . Very entitled and think the world revolves around them

Experiencia fantástica: The staff is very good and they really worked with me to get procedure done ASAP. One PA W****(privacy), she was fantastic she was on it right way solving a minor insurance issue. Once that issue was solved the Doctors were on it and great job, in and out. thank you all.

Experiencia negativa: As an RN and a sutter employee, I’m absolutely appalled by the nursing care here. The ED physician and PAs have all been great, but the nursing care has ranged from mediocre to abysmal. Starting with the triage nurse eating potato chips at the front desk while checking patients in, you can tell these are union nurses. They will take their breaks and lunches before even setting foot in their patients rooms to see how they’re doing. Unacceptable care.

Experiencia negativa: If I could give 0 star I would. This hospital and specifically Dr. Shawn Aghili are horrible. My husband suffered a heart attack on 5/20/23 and unfortunately died on 5/26/2023. When they removed life support, my adult children and I were present and were crying and hugging each other and Dr. Shawn Aghili came in the room and very rudely announced "That's it folks." He completely lacks human decency. Almost a month later we are still waiting on the death certificate that the funeral home as requested multiple times and they have refused to respond. We have yet to receive my husband's remains. I have filed a formal complaint with the Department of Consumer Affairs. If you have the option to go any where else I would. Although the nurses and some of the other staff were kind, unfortunately the leadership is horrible and unresponsive. It is unfortunate that medical school does not require a class in human decency.

Experiencia negativa: Was with my husband having a presurgery test done on 5/30/23. I could mention the long wait, but I won't. But what I will mention is waiting in the imaging diagnostic waiting room. There were two women waiting. Had a baby stroller. One lady got up to leave and pushed the baby stroller past me. There was a small DOG, YES DOG in the baby stroller. Now pardon me, I love dogs, I have 2. But, a hospital is no place to take a dog!!

Thank you for bringing this to our attention, Linda - we'll share it with the proper teams.
