Experiencia fantástica: I have used this service for physical therapy after two rotator cuff repairs, one on each shoulder, in the same year. Every therapist there has been professional, knowledgable, helpful, and effective. I have regained almost all the use of the arm from the earlier surgery, and am coming along well with the second. I highly recommend this business for any physical therapy needs you may have.

Experiencia positiva: Called in to attempt to Schedule PT here but the only way to submit a referral here is either in person or Via fax. Didn’t make sense to me since it’s 2024 and they did not accept any other methods. Called a different provider and they were able to accommodate me in a much more efficient Manner. Submitting this as feedback so it not costing any additional business at this location.

Physical Therapist Heather Coffel is knowledgeable and helpful with getting me back to 100%. I really appreciate Tonya Carter helpfulness and kind words of encouragement throughout my rehabilitation process. I would recommend CORA to anyone who needs rehabilitation.

I was there, from November 2015, until this past August 2016. Heather's was without a doubt the best therapist, she explained everything she was doing and why she was doing it. And the receptionist, Tonya, kept me well updated on when I was suppose to come in, and how many visits I had remaining. I'd recommend this place to anyone who ever needs to do physical therapy. And should anything ever happen to me again, I won't hesitate to call so I can return

Experiencia fantástica: I have been in therapy for all my joint replacements for many years. Now that I am doing therapy at Cora it is the best place I have ever been to. The therapists are amazing. Would recommend them highly.

Experiencia negativa: This establishment is a scam. They are not only ripping people off for their services but the insurance company’s as well. Nearly $500 charge for therapy that consisted of a therapist showing me three stretches over a 30 minute period while they worked with another patient and then saying that they’d send me some YouTube videos which they never did. I thought what a joke when I walked out the door but didn’t feel so bad only being out $9 copay, but now they want another $80.

Experiencia fantástica: Cora physical therapy in Bay Pointe Plaza on 34th St S was such a huge help to my disabled son and I. Usually, I don’t leave reviews but the experience was so beneficial, I am. Mainly it is the staff who work as a team and give both professional and caring assistance. Everyone from the manager to the therapists to the interns all stepped up and gave their best. We were visiting FL for several months and the staff met my newly disabled/partially paralyzed son right where he was at and helped him progress. When he first started he wasn’t able to take steps and before we left for home he was taking steps and using a cane which they gave him as a good bye present. Thank-you, Cora! May you help many more people and hope to see you when we return!

Experiencia fantástica: I have to give a shout out to the therapists and staff of Cora in South St. Pete (Heather, Kayla and Jon) for making my mother’s (Patricia Dutcher) therapy experience so awesome! She was weakened and debilitated from a recent stroke and they worked diligently with her until she was better than she had been in years! Their kindness and professionalism towards my mom will never be forgotten. She loved going to therapy and told me it was the highlight of her week! Thank you all so much for cheering up my 93 year old momma!

They all are a team and that's what a person needs when they are going through pain the trust I have in that group I can't explain.

Experiencia fantástica: Cora South St. Pete is a great rehab facility. 10/10 would recommend. The therapist there, Heather and Kayla, are knowledgeable, consistent and really there to make sure you get better. They treat the individual not the injury and you get an insight of knowledge into your own rehab so you can safely perform your exercises and stretches at home. If you are looking for a place to go, this is a great place!

Experiencia fantástica: I highly recommend CORA physical therapy at Bay Pointe Plaza. Heather, Kayla, Jon, and Danielle are all very knowledgeable, compassionate, and attentive therapists. They provide the right balance of pushing you to work hard while having sensitivity to your pain. I was prescribed therapy to rehab my leg after ORIF surgery (3 plates and 22 screws on my tibia and fibula). Initially I was non-weight bearing on the leg and they gave me many exercises to strengthen my muscles and work on my range of motion. Over time, and with my doctor’s permission, they worked with me so that I could put weight on my leg, and then I re-learned to walk. We are now working on strength and balance. At every visit with my surgeon, he is very pleased with my progress in physical therapy. If you aren’t successful with your results, most likely you’re not putting in the work, because the staff at this facility are top notch! I would be remiss if I didn’t mention Maya and Paul at the front desk. They are also very friendly, upbeat, and encouraging. The whole atmosphere of this clinic is positive and conducive to healing. I hope I never need to, but if I do, I will definitely choose CORA again.

They are always brainstorming exercises specific to my needs and case, and you can tell they truly love what they do. In just a month I have seen significant improvement and a “light at the end of the tunnel” for my long suffered mobility issues. I feel incredibly comfortable coming to Cora and would absolutely recommend them to friends and family.

Experiencia negativa: Avoid at all cost. Rude, unprofessional, bad billing practice, speaking poorly and loudly about patients that call in or are not there ....... It’s a very strange place. I am just surprised that they have any patients at all. Switching to a different provider.

Experiencia fantástica: This place is amazing!! If you need physical therapy you should diffently go here. I took my mom here after she had broken her shoulder. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.On our very first visit I knew I would diffently like it. We were greated by the receptionist Tonya she made us feel very welcome and every question I ask her she answered. Trust me it was a lot. I was bringing my mom there and I needed to be sure it was the right place. You only get one mom. Every single visit after that Tonya was very helpful. If your having a bad day she could make it better. She is a great asset to your company.. Then we met Hearther she did my mom's evaluation and the steps to making her better. She explained everything. She very kind patient. If I did not know it was my mom She was treating. I truly would've thought it was her mom. The level of compassion and care off the charts.. The physical therapist Kayla I can not say enough about this young lady.. Her level of care is amazing. She has an amazing upbeat personality. You can literally see this young lady is compassionate about making others feel better. She Will push you but not push you over. This young lady was born to help others.. She encourages you. When you do something she says great job. I think people need that. Thank you so very much for helping my mom. Amazing staff and very knowledgeable... Tonya, Hearther and Kayla. Experiencia fantástica: We’ve been coming here for a couple of months and the therapists are great. Heather is the primary therapist seen and she is friendly and knowledgeable and has a great sense of humor. Makes it fun to come here. When it is time to request more sessions from the doctor Tonya handles it all and makes it very easy to schedule them. She has a great personality and interacts with the patients who are waiting to be seen. It has been an all-around great experience.

Experiencia fantástica: I had knee surgery and Cora was recommended to me by my physician. The service I received was excellent. The staff is very nice from the receptionist(Tonya) to my therapist (Heather) and she did a great job at making sure I am fully functional and well as checking up on me after my sessions. I just ran a 5k race and completed it in 25 minutes and I know I have them to thank.

Experiencia negativa: The front receptionist Tanya is extremely rude. She has the nastiest attitude. I honestly don't see how she still has a job considering the numerous reviews there are with people complaining about her. Overall, I feel as if this rehab facility did not keep my best interests at heart. Numerous times I would tell the therapist that the exercises were starting to hurt or that I couldn't do certain exercises due to a previous injury and she would still try to make me do them the next visit. My rehab routines became repetitive and predictable. Very little massage and stretching to break up the scar tissue from my injury. I do not recommend Cora. If you want top notch service and attention, go somewhere else.

Experiencia negativa: I sadly did not get a chance to see how well the therapist are here. The therapist here may very well be just as great as everyone says, but for some reason the receptionist Tanya (I'm assuming she's a receptionist) gave me too hard a time with my initial paper work. I wanted to start my therapy a week ago, but every time I called to set myself I kept getting the run around. I tried one last time today and still the same. I then decided to try and set myself up with the 4th street location, which is a little further from where I live, but I did not receive any problems they took all of information on the first call, and I start my therapy tomorrow. Sorry to give a bad review without even having any treatment done, but that's the way the cookie crumbles.

Experiencia negativa: I went to sign in upon arrival for my last visit, I was told don't sign in you don't have an appointment today. I went to my vehicle to get the card I was given after my last visit when the receptionist realized she was wrong I was treated very rudely. I've been to hundreds of doctor's offices and specialists and I have never been treated like this. If you are the type of person that is going to rehab to get a payday after an accident or something this place will be fine for you but if you want to actually be treated with compassion and care like one expects go somewhere else. The therapist was ok her knowledge seemed sufficient but again the attitude in this facility is not what expect from someone in the medical field.

Experiencia positiva: I have had a good rehab experience here. The staff are very capable. Heather is very careful and knowledgeable and has helped me regain my strength. This location is not huge and sometimes gets very busy and crowded. I also enrolled in the fitness extension after rehab. Often crowded or unavailable equipment. Consider a gym for follow up instead.

Experiencia positiva: Although the equipment is clean and well-organized at this moderately sized rehab center, the attention provided by the trainers varies. The facility is probably best for people who are well-motivated and don't need hands-on instruction or supervision. The office staff is helpful and friendly, making the best of your rehabilitation.
