Experiencia fantástica: Mom was here for a few weeks after a hospital stay. I can't thank this place enough for the love they showed her in such a tough time for her and the family. You can tell the staff really care and love what they do.

Experiencia negativa: If I'd give it no stars and Be able to Leave A Review I would. So far I'm disgusted. I am beside myself I went to see my mother that is there for 2 weeks for therapy. she was transfered last week and has never had a shower, nor has any of the CNAs/staff. She has Dementia and mobility issues, so she MUST have help & on top of that she's there for a Fractured pelvis and water on the brain leave her magazines, she feels so uncomfortable and concerned about her stuff in the room and her belongings she said people just walk in and out of her room and they'll just pick these up off her table and walk right out with them there's a lot of theft once again another unacceptable happenings, This is supposed to be a retirement home and if we would need help here's our lady staff there they did not w answer their phone and they liked me it's your cell phone no communication it told me that all the other phones are broken in the grams that's a we'll stop clearly from contacting them but I'm sorry I'm ranting & racing.. And please forgive the typos and the spellings I am talking to text and things might not come out the way they are ment.

Experiencia positiva: My brother was well cared for by the staff here. He gained weight because Carlie encouraged him to eat every meal. He was never soiled when I visited. The wound care doctor is PHENOMENAL. Dr. Mazzella worked miracles! Scott, in case management is FANTASTIC!He saw to my brother's every need. John, Paul, and Marin in PT were awesome, as well as the speech therapist. My complaint is that management fired Paul and the Speech Therapist, and I felt it was a huge mistake in my brother's case. The facility is in MAJOR NEED of cleaning, painting and new furnishings. It really is bad. Christmas decorations were still on the walls in June! The care is amazing, but the building itself is depressing and not somewhere I would want to be for any length of stay. Overall, my brother improved greatly, thanks to the staff that were employed during his stay.

Experiencia negativa: ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! BESIDES THE LANGUAGE BARRIER WITH STAFF. SOME OF THE STAFF HAVE NO CARE IN THE WORLD! 80% OF THE TIME THEY DON'T ANSWER THE PHONE AND THE PHONES IN THE PATIENT ROOMS DON'T WORK. I SPOKE TO A SPANISH STAFF MEMBER WHO TOLD ME, " I DONT UNDERSTAND" AND THEN SHE VERY CONVENIENTLY HUNG UP ON ME! HORRIBLE JUST HORRIBLE, 3RD WORLD COUNTRY! MY FRIEND IS IN THERE AND ABSOLUTELY HATES THIS PLACE, FROM THE HEALTH CARE TO THE FOOD THEY SERVE. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. THE STATE OF FLORIDA SHOULD SERIOUSLY INVESTIGATE THIS PLACE!

Experiencia fantástica: I've been volunteering here for almost 3 years now coming up with my schools club called the "Dixie cares" and at first I didn't think it would be that great and now me going there every Wednesday that I can has changed my life. The staff there are great they welcome you and everyday possible :) surprising the residents is a hoot! :D me only being almost 17 i feel so great coming to this place and making there lives more better to achieve so they can eventually go home with there families. The one thing I love about Alhambra is that I make someone that's not able to hear but they know American Sign Language to be able to be themselves. Making them smile, active , even able to come out of there shell and know that its okay were all one big family and i cant wait for more years to come! :D

Experiencia negativa: My previous rate was accurate but quickly it changed, completely changed and, nurses quitting, cnas over work and then Scott case manager needs to be in the unemployment line, I was discharged Dec 23rd without any medication and Christmas day was ta⁴by ambulance to hospital having average of 300 spasms a day. AND I'M still in the hospital January 20th 2023.

Experiencia fantástica: This is the facility you need for your love ones. They have a kind and considerate Administrator that makes sure to communicate with each and every resident. He is approachable and wants to make sure your needs and wants are addressed in a timely manner. L personal am a pescitatari and had doubts whether or not my needs could be met. They made special menus that met vegetarian and my needs within days. See l told you, Rick, the administrator, makes things come to fruition. This is my 4th stay at Alhammbra. I have had wounds that have started with osteomyelitis, bone infection. Wound care is the absolute best. The doctor and nurse in charge have healed a wound that Noone has been able to heal in over 5yrs. In addition they have the best therapy dept., known to man. They absolutely care about your recovery. The first thing said to me was, "what can we do to help you?". They helped me walk again. A feat I didn't believe possible. Don't pass up the opportunity to let loved one become part of the Alhambra family. It's not a place you put your family member. It's a place that feels like home.

Experiencia fantástica: I am so thankful my Dad landed at Alhambra when he was no longer safe at home! The staff is amazing and the Activities Director is the absolute best!! She is taking him to Rays games, fishing adventures and even keeping things exciting on the days they stay in! I can’t thank them all enough!!!

Experiencia fantástica: I first want to say that I have had nothing but an amazing experience at this facility, the admissions director was very sweet and handled my grandmothers transition very well. My grandma has been in multiple facilities prior to this one and it wasn't a pleasant care, but Alhambra changed that, my grandma looks more happier, she is WELL TAKEN CARE OF, nurses and staff pay attention to every little aspect of my grandmas care, the staff are all very nice and welcoming, rooms are clean and well organized. the best decision was switching my grandma to this facility, my family and I will be forever grateful for the kindness and care you have provided to my grandma. 100% RECOMMENDED.

Everyone in the facility are very nice,professional,compassion they really care for their patients.I am very happy to have my mother at Alhambra Health and Rehab Center great place to have your loved ones taken care.

Their patience with questions, communication to doctors and with concerns from family members have been such a blessing. They care about each patient and family members and treat them with dignity.

Experiencia fantástica: My mother spent 10 days here after a covid positive diagnosis. She was very sick, also had a severe UTI and was so weak. The experience was terrifying to say the least. Without a doubt the staff at Alhambra are angels. They showed up, knowing that they were going into a covid positive environment, and we’re kind, friendly, supportive and beyond helpful. They aided my 83yo father to her window so they could see each other on their 60th wedding anniversary on February 4th. Thanks to the staff, great care, faith, and strength, my mother was able to go home to my dad. She is recovering and has bright days ahead. This is just our story, there are many, many, more. Daughters like myself, that wanted to be there, but couldn’t. I’m eternally grateful for these heroes, and I’ll never forget them in my thoughts and prayers. Sincerely, KKCS

Experiencia positiva: They seem like a nice place staff has always been very pleasant, answering the phone is not it sometimes I'LL call for an hour several times throughout the day and get NO Answer> I getting ready to called police for a health check they had me so worried!

Especially, the nail manicure day and morning coffee with a game of bingo, which is provided by activities.Interaction between staff and residents is positive. Alhambra, where safety and patient well being is a number one priority!

Experiencia fantástica: Our mother was in rehab at Alhambra in 2013 when she broke her 1st hip . . . We brought her back in Oct 2018 when she broke her 2nd hip . . . We were referred here in 2013 by an Edward White Hospital Director who had personal experience with her mother . . . She was right . . . We appreciate the 60 bed facility for it’s size, the professionalism, and the dedication of the staff for their patients . . . It takes big hearts to work in this type of venue by choice . . . Experiencia fantástica: From the beginnining of my mothers arrival up until the end of her days everyone at Alhambra was such a positive experience from top to bottom. Alhambra was my mothers 2nd consecutive time being placed in a nursing home, the 1st nursing home was such a nightmare experience. Living in New York emotionally, physically, and mentally made it that much harder to put my trust into yet another facility hoping for the proper care for my mother. Being that the facility was small and intimate, they were able to treat my mom like family.Hands down everyone there deserves the recognition. Starting with the Aides, there wasn't a time where I wasn't happy with the upkeep of my mother's cleanliness and for that I would like the Aides to know it did not go unnoticed. My mom was fortunate to have the nursing staff that she did. I especially want to thank Dee and Sabrina .They both cared for my mom in addition to continuously putting my mind at ease for any questions or concerns that I had. I thank them for their compassionate and care. Joanne in Aministration was awesome to me. There was never a time when she wasn't on point with anything I needed. Instead of me being overwhelmed she simplified things for me with such Grace. She was always such a pleasure to talk to and I have to say , now that my mom has passed on, I will miss speaking to her. ....and then there's Sidney, the director,....what can I say other than Koudos to her ! She was always there for me with ANY questions or concerns that I had , and trust me, I had many lol...I want to thank her for her patience with me, and most of all, thank you for your hand in caring for my mother. Experiencia fantástica: This is a wonderful facility! I have had the pleasure of communicating with administration and staff for a year and a half now. I have witnessed, that staff is very attentive to their residents, answering call lights and patient request in a timely manner. The CNA's are compassionate and understanding with their residents. I have overheard laughter on several occasions, coming from the interaction between the staff and residents. They truly seem as though they are happy/content. As you walk through the facility you can always expect friendly smiling faces and a warm hello! I am very thankful this facility is available to the community.

Experiencia positiva: Have been happy with all of the staff,nurses, OT/PT and housekeeping. All have put forth a great effort to work with family and our sister.The facility is always kept very clean, staff /nurses are attentive and should you have questions they will answer or direct you to the appropriate person. They have worked hard to get our sister to the place she needs to be to go back to her group home Very appreciative of all.

Experiencia fantástica: I was a resident here for short term rehab. Nursing care was top of the line. Therapy department was wonderful, helped me to regain my strength. The food was great. The care was excellent. All the staff members are wonderful and treated me like family. Activity department is wonderful and provides great activities. Housekeeping keeps the facility odor free, neat, and clean. The doctor I had Dr. Piszcek was amazing. If i need rehab again, this is the place i will go. I will recommend Alhambra to all my family and friends.

Experiencia negativa: These people really do not have too much concern for their residence when it come to feeding their residents. Everytime I have been there to visit a family member during breakfast and lunch or dinner. They waiting hours to be fed... Very disrespectful. There are some persons that work there that have zero business being there .on more than one occasion a resident need assistance to go to the bathroom and the attaendent to her to go in their adult diaper and that's was the assist? Management is lacking

Experiencia negativa: My father is here and it is simply inhumane the way he is found every time i go to see him. I'm working to get him moved to another facility. Spoke with the director and got a bunch of excuses, not one bit of empathy for how my dad was found in her facility.

Experiencia fantástica: My grandmother is there and she loves it. The staff is wonderful, caring, and willing to help. The administration is wonderful and always willing to answer any questions my family may have. I truly appreciate all the hard work the staff puts into caring for all the resident. The building is really nice and the 2 courtyards are a really nice addition. I would highly recommend Alhambra to any person looking for a rehab or long term care facility.

Experiencia negativa: I'm not theresa but her boyfriend and she is in this place for rehabilitation and came there to visit here and she was heavily medicated and found some hickey's on her neck and found out her and another patient has at least been making out and who knows what else I confronted staff and they acted like no big deal wow didn't know that was a load in a medical facility

Experiencia negativa: I agree with one of the other reviews...they are not informative at all. I was there everyday but they never kept me posted of what was going on with my father. For example...My dad had to be brought to the emergency room from the facility and his list of medications went with him. It said he was on Coumadin, and I asked the ER physician why. He said it was on the list from the facility that he had a extremity ultrasound a week before and was diagnosed with a clot. I was never told about the scan being done or the diagnosis. I was his healthcare surrogate. No communication what so ever!!!! I think I encountered one person who was friendly and wanted to help, the rest really need to find a different job. They are only there for a paycheck not to help people. Remember these people are someone's loved ones! Would not recommend this place to anyone. Shame on the person who runs this place, so unprofessional. No name tags, no uniforms, and completely unfriendly people.

Experiencia negativa: This is not a very good facility..communication with family terrible....the rooms are in bad shape the staff questionable...this was not a facility we chose..sent from hospital by social workers. Be very careful
