Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Kaylee is easily one of the greatest humans I've ever known. She has helped me and my family so much. My son started seeing her for some muscle weakness and these monster bunions that I didn't even know he had. He's 15 and impossible to please but he leaves his visits with her so happy and calm even though she, like I, pushes him to try really hard at his exercises. I have been seeing her for what feels like my whole life (because she gets me like that) for pelvic floor issues after my birth of my daughter, she makes me feel so seen, heard, and comfortable I can't even describe it in words. My point is, my family and I LOVE Dr. Kaylee and I know you will too!

I never tried pelvic floor therapy because I thought there couldn’t be possibly anything that I’d get out of it as I had normal vaginal births and a very effective yoga practice. But I had to open my mind as I did have mild urinary incontinence and at long last I found out what I was missing, I’m learning about deep, small muscles that are making a huge difference, not just for incontinence but for hip mobility and stability, which my own mother struggles with as well. Dr Jo makes me feel completely comfortable and open to a whole new world of possibilities post child birth. I feel that this work I’m doing for myself is work that I’m doing for women everywhere, and my hope is that anyone reading this joins me and all the other women who have benefited from pelvic floor therapy on the path to healing and wholeness.

Experiencia fantástica: I can say with confidence that my second delivery went so smooth because of the work I put in with Dr. Kaylee prior to babies arrival. She came to my home which makes it 10x easier and I never felt rushed during any of our sessions. I used The HOPE Doctors my first pregnancy post partum and the issues I had were resolved as well. I wish I would have used them prior to that delivery as well but didn't realize PFT can be used before and after baby! 100% highly recommend!!!

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve had a great experience and results over the past four years working with Dr Kaylee and her team at Hope doctors. I originally came in with symptoms of prolapse, weakness and pelvic pain, which seemed it should have healed several years after childbirth. My gynecologist was unhelpful and borderline dismissive when I Brough up pelvic PT. I found Dr Kaylee through my own research and have learned so much about what is normal and not normal and how to manage the symptoms of my body. A relationship was established and I knew who to call in 2023 and 2024 after a couple of new injuries. (PSA be careful on e-bikes please) Now we’re working on totally different muscle groups, and this has become the most effective form of physical therapy for my overall pain management and well-being. The hips hold a depth of emotions and I’m glad for the holistic approach of this practice.

I had some issues I had just accepted as being my new normal after trying to solve them on my own, and I had given up that they would be fixed. At my very first appointment, Dr. Kaylee made me feel seen and heard - this is such a safe space!! After working with Dr. Kaylee for only 2 months, I notified a significant improvement with my chief complaint. I loved that she also noticed other strength/mobility problems that were unrelated to postpartum issues, and has been working with me just as hard on those for a whole-body wellness plan. I am now pregnant again and feel that I am in the absolute best hands possible to make my pregnancy, birth, and postpartum experience a positive one. Cannot recommend this place enough! From the minute I met Dr. Kaylee at HOPE, I knew she was "the one"! It is a rare combo nowadays to find a practitioner who listens, validates your feelings, and knows how to address your specific needs -- but when you find it -- it feels like a homerun. Dr. Kaylee doesn't give you a one-size-fits all treatment plan, but listens to your personal experience and tailors your plan to both your physiology and also your personality. She recognized my strengths immediately and played off of these instead of making me try things we both knew I would not do! :) I had never had a PFPT be able to help with a specific (rare) issue and she was able to figure it out and help it immediately. Experiencia fantástica: Dr Kaylee is the exact person you didn't know you needed. Like so many, I initially went to see her to get back to my old self after my 2nd son was born. Through her compassionate care and thoughtful bodywork, I have made amazing strides in my healing journey and feel more in touch with my body than I have in years. I didn't realize all of the different ways my body needed repair but she found them immediately and initiated a program with videos that has allowed me to address them in office with her and at home by myself. I had my first child in 2020 and dealt with many painful symptoms afterwards from complications of childbirth. After asking my OB's office and my primary care doctor's office for help and not receiving any useful treatment options from them (nor did I feel like they took my concerns seriously), I found The HOPE Doctors. I have received treatment twice from Dr. Kaylee, once in 2021 and now again in 2024 after the birth of my second child. I have never felt so heard, accepted, and understood in a medical setting before. The office is warm, welcoming, peaceful, and truly feels like a safe space. The treatment program has been tailored both times to things that I could *actually accomplish* as a very busy working mom of two. Both times I have seen improvement of my symptoms immediately. Experiencia fantástica: I found The Hope Doctors through social media and Dr Kate Smith went to the same PT school I did. I am currently 28 weeks pregnant and wanted to be sure I was addressing some concerns during pregnancy before they got worse as the pregnancy went on. I was throughly impressed with the extent of the evaluation from the functional movement screen and internal exam. A lot of my impairments made sense as to why I’ve had a history of pain and limited mobility in certain areas. Dr Kate explained everything on our first visit and set up an HEP for me to do between appts. I’ve done some of the exercises and have made adjustments to my posture as I’ve gotten bigger which I think has helped me with my work activities and ADLs. Not only that, they will expertly, lovingly, and professionally help you with any emotional ties to your pelvic floor issues that may arise (as they often do with our most vulnerable and sometimes painful and confusing body discomforts and challenges). With these skill sets combined the Hope doctors are unbeatable. And although it is indeed a bit of a financial investment costing (in my exerpeicne) $250/session, they are giving you so much of their time and expertise during each session and afterwards in customizing your workout plan and being available for communication ❤️ Worth every penny!

My hips, back and abdominals were all in need of care. She created a very comfortable environment and I will absolutely be going back if I need follow up care or if I have another baby. It made the postpartum recovery process so much better and I know it’ll absolutely pay of in the long run.

Experiencia fantástica: I started to see Dr. Katie in my first trimester when my mild preexisting SI joint pain became unbearable and started interfering with daily life and activities. Not only has she been so thorough and uniquely tailored a plan for me, she recommended that I see a chiropractor so that we are treating my body as holistically as possible. After a few weeks of working with her and seeing chiro, my symptoms improved significantly and so did my mental health and happiness overall. I was finally able to enjoy my pregnancy and be out of unbearable pain. Working with this group is so convenient as they offer virtual sessions and are always available to answer questions via the app. I would highly recommend pelvic PT with this group to all pregnant women and especially those of you who are having pain. It is not normal to suffer through your pregnancy, you deserve relief and to feel your best self!

Experiencia fantástica: I highly recommend Dr. Kaylee and the Hope Doctors. I've never had a provider like Dr. Kaylee before. She takes a holistic approach to care - treating the entire patient, not just the problem. I instantly connected with her and immediately felt seen and understood. She takes the time to learn all about you and connect the dots between the experiences you've had and the problems you're dealing with now and can design a treatment plan to heal and strengthen your body. She and her other clinicians are great at demonstrating and teaching exercises in person, but their app is great too and has videos that explain every move and help you keep track of it. They will come to your home and do sessions in the privacy and comfort of your own home, which is so convenient. The Hope Doctors have a beautiful mission and I support them fully. There should be more post partum care like this for women!!

Experiencia fantástica: I went to Dr. Katie with some concerns of my pelvic floor and diastisis. Dr Katie did an exam and explained everything. She is so wonderful and really helped me with my issues with just a few simple pelvic core/ floor exercises. She helped me with pain in my hips area, and gave me a few tips to do at home. By my second appointment all of my symptoms were basically gone. Dr. Katie is very knowledgeable and so helpful.

I recently had a flare up, and she was able to get me in last minute for a session. It really helped with my pain level decreasing. Experiencia fantástica: I got a recommendation from my Orthopedic Specialist to go and see a pelvic floor physical therapist to address if my lower back pain was connected to my pelvic floor. My first visit with Dr. Katie Ihlenfeldt was amazing. She is super professional, caring and friendly. It’s not often we think that problem with the pelvic floor muscles can affect or make lower back pain worse. After just one session with Dr. Katie I already felt better in my lower back. She evaluated my back, pelvic floor and muscles surrounding those areas and gave me exercises to do at home. With the exercises my back pain was slowly getting less. I have been to specialist, surgeons and chiropractors, but it was pelvic floor PT Katie that really has helped me. I have been going to here for a couple of months now, and she has made it possible for me to be able to go back to train Crossfit again. Since our initial home visit, she was professional, friendly and approachable so I felt like I could share any of my concerns and goals with her. She takes the time to go over each process and answers my questions before we continue with any exams, treatments, stretches and exercises, etc. She arrives for our appointments right on time, and is prompt when sending a detailed list of the exercises and stretches that we practiced during the session. This is my first time going through postpartum recovery, and after a few sessions, I've been able to get back to my normal routines and the initial pains I had have subsided significantly. I recommend the HOPE Doctors to any one who is looking for pelvic floor PT especially in the Brandon/Riverview area!

After my first week I can say I was already seeing improvement. Dr. Kate really takes her time and makes sure to always listen to me and fully understand what’s going on. When I was referred to her I quickly made an appointment even though I found out I had to pay out of pocket because I was desperate for some relief as I have been going through with pain and bladder incontinence for over a year and it has truly been the best thing that has happened to me and every penny has been more than worth it! Experiencia fantástica: This place has been a game changer. Absolutely wonderful and they are trauma informed. A pelvic floor screening should be a standard of care for all women and girls. Pelvic floor therapy should be a no brainer in maternity care for all pregnant & postpartum people but it’s not widely used or available. I wish I knew about pelvic floor care or was offered treatment the first time I complained to my OBGYN. Thank you Dr. Kate.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Kaylee has been such an important member of my care team. I came to her after 24 years of chronic pelvic pain from endometriosis. I had surgery with the CEC in Nov of 2021 and got an appt as soon as I was cleared. I have a host of co-morbidities. She helped me find movement, she helped me find confidence in my body, she helped me find safety in my pelvis again. I have come so far. It hasn't been an easy road and we are still peeling back layers. I have come a long way though and am so grateful for her continued support and her pep talks. I trust her implicitly in my pelvic floor/body restoration and her office space is an absolute safehaven.

Experiencia fantástica: I had a suspicion that I had diastasis recti due some ongoing symptoms that I was experiencing. I was connected with Dr Kate from The HOPE Drs and I'm honestly so happy to have found her! During our first appointment, she already felt like a friend I had known for years. Dr Kate ruled out diastasis but she did find several other issues that were likely the cause of my pain and discomfort. We have been working together for several months now and the change is amazing. She goes above and beyond to adapt my plan of care as I have ADHD and have trouble sticking to exercise. I am now stronger, my symptoms are almost completely gone and I am so much more aware of my body (movements, breathing etc). Everyone deserves to invest in their pelvic floor health. 10/10 recommend Dr Kate :)

I made great progress in my time with her and was able to reach many of my goals for exercise. I had seen other pelvic floor PTs (and general PTs) in the past, but did not experience the kind of success I had with Dr. Kaylee. She also provided ongoing communication between appointments, when needed, and always made me feel comfortable, seen, and empowered during our sessions. Experiencia fantástica: I saw Dr. Kate Smith while pregnant for hip and groin pain, and it was definitely helpful! My husband and I also did a labor and delivery class with her that was SO helpful. We both felt more prepared, and while baby has a plan of their own for their entrance, much of it was helpful throughout the process. I would highly recommend this course even if you aren’t in need of PT while pregnant!

I started to experience pelvic floor pain while running during my second trimester, and really wanted to ensure I was able to recover in a way that allowed me to continue running for the long haul. Dr Katie was Incredibly thorough and worked to root cause my pain and ensure that the exercises prescribed were specific to my situation, not cookie cutter advice (which is so important!). I’m now nearly 10 weeks postpartum and attribute my rapid recovery to working with her on both prehab and rehab. Pelvic floor therapy should absolutely be a standard of care for pregnant people. Sadly it’s not - I’d encourage everyone to seek out care with the Hope Doctors, your body is too important to have lasting pelvic floor issues that impact your quality of life!

I’ve never been pregnant & couldn’t imagine I would need pelvic floor therapy.
