Experiencia fantástica: I will forever be grateful to Ballard and it's staff the constant in my face Lets get this therapy in has helped me so much in the process of recovery if youve recently have gone thru an ordeal, and feel like life has beat you down and this is all new to you rest assure Ballard will care for you as if your immediate family. Trust they got you on recovery, filing claims, bedding, meals and even your diet. Thank you Ballard my stroke occured 12/1/2024 and even though im still doing physical therapy the love and therapy youv Initially started has!made me a better me every day, so thank you!

Experiencia negativa: This place is horrible I mean Iv been coming back here since 2019 up untill now and let me just say the people are very rude n very disrespectful to the patien n the for the physical therapy part omg let me just say they spend more time having parties n being on the phones not interacting with the patients at all and let me tell you about the food it is very very nasty and sloppy they are serving bad food that is making ppl sick im done being nice this place needs new management and staff or it needs to be shut down this place is very very horrible ill never be coming back here so please keep ur loved ones out of this place please it’s not worth ii at all

Experiencia fantástica: After back surgery I could not lift my legs or even get out of bed. My wife got me into Ballard for rehab. Best place for me. When I left Ballard I was using a walker and two weeks later working with a cane. Doing all the exercises they gave me every day.

Experiencia fantástica: I was a patient here after a very serious car accident in 2008 and I had to have assistance remembering how to do some daily activities and thanks to Laurie I rehabilitated amazingly. Thank you very much Laurie and the entire staff. I’m Marco Jr I had a two bone flaps removed from my skull. I apologize for being difficult when I was a patient but with your understanding and patience I am here and better then ever. GOD bless you and this entire rehabilitation facility, I am forever grateful and appreciative of my assistance here.

Experiencia negativa: I'm pleased to say they treated my son as family. As for myself they made me feel at ease that my son is in good hands. There very loving caring .Doctors and all the staff. My son is walking by the grace of God and help from all Ballard Staff. Clean facility with lots of room . Not feeling stuffy. Thank you very much from the bottom of our hearts.

Experiencia negativa: Incompetence caused severe C Diff infection; CNA rolled patient over right after feeding, causing vomiting so they cut his food in half - list 10 lbs in 2 weeks; incompetent “dr” koura put patient on unnecessary narcolepsy drug as well as blood thinner witjout doing blood test to make sure it was needed Patient lost at least 2 months of physical progress and then was very ill from the infection for an additional 2 Months Avoid this place

Experiencia fantástica: I want to take a moment to commend the particular staff at Ballard. My brother-in-law was there for a couple of weeks and he lives alone and we all live in different parts of the state so we were not able to closely monitor his care as we would have liked. I want to give a shout out to Noemi, one of his nurses who took such good care of him and communicated effectively with the family about his treatment. Also, Marcella was exceptional in keeping us informed whenever we called. I was skeptical about this place, but I can tell you they took great care of our family member. With that in mind, it is ALWAYS best to have an advocate and get to know your loved ones caregivers.

Experiencia fantástica: Rehabilitation staff and equipment are the star of the show here. Second to none in the entire state. I will remember them fondly for the rest of my life. Nurses I thought were quite good and administered medication appropriately. Doctors very involved and receptive which is kind of rare nowadays. Nursing assistants and other helpers were super cool. Admin was fine but didn’t really deal with them too much. I liked the rooms, but the TV’s were horrible. Very antiquated - probably mid 90’s. Didn’t like how I couldn’t participate in Bingo or movie nights. In 2023 technology should allow you to participate from your room. Food was better than a hospital - but not exactly spectacular. Overall it’s a 4 star facility that I highly recommend for your loved ones because really the quality of care is what matters most. Gave an extra star to offset an obviously bogus 1 star review I read.

Experiencia fantástica: My grandmother is currently receiving care here and all I can say is that they are phenomenal! She suffered from a NSTEMI heart attack back in September and also had to undergo emergency dialysis at the same time while at the hospital she was admitted to, then was discharged to Valley Healthcare Center where she was horribly neglected and even obtained state 4 bed sore and severe fluid overload, we discharged her from there and had her transported directly back to ER where they stabilized her and she's been here receiving PT, OT and speech therapy. Everyone from the security, front desk, admissions, CNA's, nurses and physicians have all been above and beyond amazing! The facility is absolutely spotless and excellent in cleanliness. Their PT/OT room and equipment are wonderful and you always see the therapists working with the patients in and around the facility, if you're looking for a facility that cares about their patients this place is it. I'll update once she's been discharged for how well case management and social services are although I’m sure they’re great as well.

Experiencia negativa: not a good place my father was just in there and was not treated right was denied his meds and dialysis and was not given the right care will not recommend this place and had another patient next to him and was a stroke victim and was getting bed sores and would not even help him get up to eat would wait in hour for an nurse to come help him eat his meal and my father had to wait to get his bath for almost a day he had to try to walk after his surgery to clean himself cause of failures nurses not doing there job would not consider this place for any rehab for patient to get better go to a different rehab center to get the proper care cause this place doesn't do that

Her and her baby partner are awesome they all(everyone list) handle their task with a great attitude and smile. It makes writing this review so easy even feel like im forgetting someone which i apologize now if i did. They know what what they are doing and what needs to be done and im forever greatful for them and their attitudes. Im still here so i still have work to do and im glad im here and wouldn't have choosen another facility with better ratings. That 3.9 doesnt do them justice and its clearly a typo. Someone just being a complainer and doesn't want to put anywork into their own recovery but enough about them the negative ones. And another thing the food is not bad at all ive been eating everything which is rare. Im looking forward to my full recovery which i know now that it will be sooner then later. What im not looking forward to is having to say farewell to them when my time and recovery have been completed..so i say to them all from the bottom of my heart muchas Gracias and i appreciate you all more then i can express. And to Paola y Brenda the new rookies on the block you young jalisciense gals are off to a great start, fabulous attitudes and willingness to learn and get your hands dirty are gonna make a lot of patients willing to put a lot more effort into their own recovery. The Team at Ballard are led by a wonderful group of professionals who share genuine compassion and care for their patients and families alike. I have appreciated many positive experiences with Balllard and I highly recommend their specialized therapies and programs.

Experiencia negativa: Staff and nurses were rude and bedside manner was terrible!!!!! The only person who showed compassion was Dr.Chen and he deserves better than this place!! My grandmother was having a seizure and another doctor (who wasn't doctor Chen) said she was stable while watching her have the seizure, doctor Chen comes in and notices the decline in her condition and sent her to the hospital right away!! I would recommend going somewhere else for treatment!!!!

Experiencia fantástica: I was referred to Ballard rehabilitation... For physical therapy by my doctor.. I usually go somewhere else., But I needed a closer location. Then the usual spot that I go to. I am so glad I was recommended to this outpatient hospital for physical therapy. Since I've been coming to Ballard for my physical therapy. I've had great experience with the physical therapist... all of them... They are so polite and Attentive to my needs. My 3 favorite physical therapist, are Lory, Matthew and Emily... Actually all the physical therapists are so great but Just can't remember all of their names. Ha ha ha Anthony the receptionist/ Scheduler is the number one Person that you will be in contact with for scheduling. I really love Anthony's positivity about everything. He is so nice and always has a smile on his face. A smile that will make you smile. And will surely Brighten up your day. Really. Enjoy coming to Ballard for my appointment. Thank you. Beatriz G.

Experiencia positiva: I was a patient at Ballard for 3 weeks due to Cancer treatments and to regain my strength to walk again. The Nurse's was very nice and thoughtful, and the Physical Therapy was AWESOME ! I loved all the therapist.. I would recommend Ballard , I had been to other facilities for help, but Ballard's was by far the best.. I had many other health issues and the nurses and doctors addressed them all. Experiencia negativa: Negative zero stars from our family. It is my hope that the Director Melissa Curry see my review and contacts me. As I will be preparing a formal written statement. My Dad arrived at the facility a week ago. They did not do his intake properly. Paperwork was signed and dated 3 days later without my Mom present and without the proper personal information. Nurse Mikaya has personal issues and she speaks with colleagues about her personal problems in the patient’s room while giving care to a patient. When a patient is afraid to speak up and ask for help due to the “nurse” being tired or upset that is unacceptable. My Dad’s wound is not being taken care correctly. My Dad feels uncomfortable and unsafe saying anything due to the nurses seeking retribution. My family is concerned the nurses will seek retribution on my Dad for us speaking out. The facility hides behind HIPAA when it’s convenient for them. Yet they talk about patients, colleagues and other irrelevant not work related drama at around patients and in ear shot of patients trying to heal. Charge Nurse Susan claims to follow rules and regulations. Yet She does care about the patients she only cares about herself. I have spoken to Justin and Erica who are supposed to be case managers while they are friendly and give an ear they have no power over the nurses or actual care of the patient. If my Mom isn’t there everyday to make sure my Dad’s wound is cleaned “properly” it won’t get done. My Dad went there with negative infection cultures and now he is positive. While I understand there is a 2 sided stories. One cannot get honest and clear information when it is requested. The nurses chart so that they are not held accountable for their actions. They will hide behind HIPAA and that is ok. Because i will stop at nothing to protect my Parents. If you send your family member there. Be prepared to be present very attentive to your loved ones care. There are so many more issues. Just beware that this facility presents itself as wholesome but it is not. There are a few who were true to their code of ethics. Nurse LeeAnn was courteous and informative to my Mom. CNA Malary was kind and helpful. Marjory the front receptionist is always friendly and welcoming. Even when you have to call back several times. CNA Ana was also very kind, helpful and respectful.

Experiencia negativa: My aunt has been here for 2 weeks now and just like two of the staff members have been amazing to my aunt. The other staff members are very rude especially a doctor , he treated my aunt so bad and is just sarcastic over serious things . She just got her leg Ambutated and the way he took her thing that is wrapped around it was so brutal and he laughed because she was screaming of pain. That specific doctor should not work here and from his supposedly 32 year experience he has not learned how to treat elderly people who are in pain. You never know something could happen to anyone and if it was his family Ik he wouldn’t want anyone to treat his family that way. Thank you for those who actually treated my aunt properly

Experiencia fantástica: My sister stayed here for two weeks after a back surgery. They took good care of her here. After she was discharged she could have continued physical therapy at other facilities closer to her home, but it's been 7 months and she continues to renew with them because the staff truly care and work hard to get their patients back healthy.

Experiencia fantástica: BALLARD AND THEIR TEAM ARE HIGHLY SKILLED,COMPATIONATE AND FOCUSED ON THE PATIENT. I AM SO BLESSED TO HAVE HAD THE EXPERIENCE. They are like family and are kind to each other. Hard workers. All if them desire to progress in their skills and training. The facility is clean and well taken care of.

Experiencia negativa: I wanted to make an appointment but I am disappointed and ashamed of the negative reviews. One stated that an elderly man was thrown on purpose. *Update: Reviews can be subjective but that doesn’t mean that there isn’t truth. Regardless of what happened, in the eyes of that patient you let him or her down.

Experiencia negativa: I would give this facility a ZERO if possible. My very close family member has been here for about a week and a half. Management is poor. The nurses are not taking proper care of wounds, and dressing care. They had not cleaned my family members wound in days. I then followed up to ask for his nurse to clean his wounds, I was then shoot off. I was told she would get around to him. We waited. We asked if we could get help putting him into his bed, they took almost an hour and a half. Still, no one showed. He ended getting into the medical bed alone. No one still showed, he was in pain & due for his meds. NO ONE SHOWED. I am very disappointed in this facility & will never recommend for anyone. I understand there’s other patients, but treat them as if they were your own. Be passionate about your work, and professionalism. I hope no one has to go through the poor care that these nurses provide. They did the bare minimum to keep him at least comfortable.. Zero stars. Do NOT come here if you care deeply for your family members.

Experiencia fantástica: My boyfriend had a traumatic brain injury after crashing his dirtbike and after the hospital he was moved here. I can't begin to describe how amazing this place is. The staff is super friendly and kind. They worked with my boyfriend several times a day in physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy. They we're always welcoming and understanding. I would HIGHLY recommend this facility to anyone with a family member in need of physical rehabilitation. Thank you to all the doctors, nurses, therapists and staff who took such good care of my boyfriend ❤

I know because of Covid they limit the visitor i wish they would some how make difference on family members coming from far away.. There was a death in the family. Mom can't go to funeral ppl what to come her..

Experiencia fantástica: As much as I wanted to go home following my stroke, I waited at the hospital until a room became available to me at Ballard. Now, I understand that the care and treatment offered here is without equal. The demanding therapy is accompanied with lots of TLC from the nurses and staff. I feel renewed.

Experiencia fantástica: I was here for a week I have a broken back and I thought it was going to be hard for me to walk or do anything and the couple days I was here I improved so much and I got so much better. All the staff here is so wonderfully nice and very very helpful, I love how all of the staff were so nice to me. They boosted up my confidence and gave me strength to be able to do so much more. I really recommend this rehab for anyone going through a hard time trying to process what happen to them. Thank you all for making me better.

Experiencia negativa: I’m not sure what kind of place this is Dr. Kunan seems to be full of himself and gets frustrated when people ask him questions. Have not been called back by case manager Justin, nor did we see Dr. Bai after waiting all day for feedback? Is it because she is black? Is it because she has IEHP? I can’t figure it out. In regards to my sisters care it is not up to standards. I don’t recommend taking your loved one here dealing with a serious health concern. Poor communication, self absorbed staff that lack in basic ethics and accountability. Do better!

Experiencia negativa: The physical therapy is amazing but they did me so wrong sent me to emergency room after getting discharged from the ER the next morning they said they couldn’t take me back so my husband pick me up I didn’t get my medication for my cancer didn’t get my shower chair my husband didn’t get the training he was supposed to get to take care of me it’s really sad what they did to me

Ballard has become family to me and would come back if I needed rehabilitation again! Experiencia fantástica: On behalf of my father Ricardo Mejia, I am writing this review, we are beyond pleased with this facilities care and knowledge. I am beyond impressed with my father‘s progress due to an unforeseen Stroke that left my father paralyzed on his left side. We understand that each case is different but due to the stuff’s support and attentive care my father is now able to walk with cane assistance only and is able to complete normal life activities due to the wonderful & kind training of the staff. My father has been at this facility for two weeks in patient care and will continue to do outpatient physical therapy for another couple of months at Ballard. We would like to especially thank a few individuals in particular but definitely not limited to all of the amazing workers here. Experiencia fantástica: I was just released from ballard rehabilitation hospitol a week ago and i just wana name a few nurses and staff members who deserve recognition for their excellent work and for helping me have a comfortable stay even tho i just had spinal cord surgery. First off id like to thank my nurses Patricia, Arvin,Eric,Jamire,Lorena,Marcario,Jasmine,Frank,Maria,Ana, and if you worked with me and i didnt write your name down you know who you are. I also want to thank Ken the night time security officer i would go outside with thru out the night for even when i was in the most pain he had a story to make me forget were i was at thanks ken.Anyway when i first got to ballard i wanted to leave bad but after the nurses were changed around the people i named above are genually angels serving people who need their help and not just their for a pay check thanks and you guys really deserve everything good that come your way and should be recognized for your work ...Thanks to all of you.

Experiencia fantástica: I had a great experience here with my rehabitation. They helped me in all areas wound care, Physical therapy, and occupational therapy. My service dog was even included in my rehab since he helps me at home.

Experiencia fantástica: So I have been here almost 2 weeks I am getting discharged tomorrow. My experience here at Ballard rehabilitation Hospital has been very uplifting. I use the word uplifting because I was involved in a motorcycle accident I’ve broke my pelvis and two places broke my left arm in three places and majorly fractured my right hand. I was ejected off my motorcycle distance to 50 feet so I’m not supposed to be alive. Needless to say I was already in the hospital for almost a month prior to coming to Ballard, so my spirits were not the highest at that time. I got here on a Saturday by Monday morning I was telling the nursing staff that I want to have my outpatient rehab at this facility. That’s because the nursing staff Are very respectful and you can tell they really care about your recovery and your safety and that they really love what they do. A few hours later I was having my first session of rehab and ever since the first session every session that I have had, has been very rewarding. The rehab staff also known as therapy staff are very experienced and knowledgeable of what they are doing and they A very respectful. The only complaint I have is with the Wi-Fi. I definitely recommend anyone who needs rehab to come to Ballard.

Experiencia fantástica: I cannot speak any higher of Ballard Rehab! My wife was here for a month following a severe Ischemic stroke which left her unable to talk and her right side almost useless. We were treated with dignity and respect by EVERY single employee from Ray and Gary with security, Danielle, Natalie and the other young lady in reception, ALL of the nurses ( God bless all of you ladies! Yall were so completely awesome and kind! Thank you!) The PT team is EXCELLENT! Very knowledgeable and open to use new methods which totally impressed me! Speech Therapist is using new methods that I just read about a week before that is state of the art! That just blew me away that she was already on it! I knew right then that the other therapists were on their games as well! Sean and Eva in case management ( Yall thought of things that I didn't and yall really looked out for our best interest!) all the way to Dr. Saluja! ( Doc, you said that yall were interested in the patients health and well being and yalls' goal was to get them better and back home to their family... Sir, you truly meant that! Thank you for your integrity and your heart! You are a great man!) Im telling you that these professionals at Ballard are the real deal! I'm so very glad that we were referred here because what they said they were going to do is exactly what they did! No lies, no false information, no games, no disrespect, no miscommunication! Very clean, no soiled linen closet smell! Very clean! Very clean! Very Clean! This review is the least that I can do! Thank you from the bottom of my heart guys! I mean that!

Experiencia fantástica: This is the second time I have been through rehabilitation for stroke. Ballard hospital was wonderful. When I came here I didn't think I would ever walk again and was ready to give up. I spent two weeks here and my experience was great. The Occupational and Physical therapy that I received was top notch. They pushed me when I was ready to give up. I am happy to say that I would highly recommend this place. The nursing staff was attentive to my needs. The only complaint I have is that they need a better system for ordering your meals. 75 % of my time there the call would come while I was at therapy and I would get what ever they chose. I would suggest that they either sent menu choices or called the evening before. Other then that I had a great experience here.

They are very professional and take a wholesome, personal approach with their patients. I highly recommend this facility to all seeking a professional and goal driven rehap. 5stars

Experiencia fantástica: I really appreciate the services provided to me here by the entire nursing and therapist staff. They’re very attentive, caring, and professional. Everyone here made sure I was taken well care of. I really enjoyed the meals that were given to me as well. They were always carefully planned out ahead of time by the nutrition department. They also have a well equipped gym facility for patient use. But the part I really admire most is their occupational and physical therapist staff. They’re very passionate about what they do for a living and dedicated to meeting their patients’ individual needs. I can’t thank them enough for my rehabilitation. It has been quite the recovery process since my surgery. But I’m very grateful to have gotten this far on my journey.

Experiencia negativa: Please avoid this place at all cost let me start by stating this place is unsafe for the patients the rooms are really hot nurses do NOT wear there protective gear to enter the room i spoke with kevin Burkin in regards of the ac issue and right away gave me a nasty attitude. The nurses are really unprofessional and rude specially lyn they all have a nasty attitude so if you really love your family member please look somewhere els. I will definitely be calling the medical board first thing in the morning this place need to be investigated.

Experiencia negativa: This place was terrible when it comes down to the nursing, I fell of the bed the first day I was there, they are unorganized, especially when discharging a patient... you will not be prepared for any home care you will need unless you pressure them to provide the help by letting you know who to call and the contact information, nor will you have your outpatient facility ready to avoid having laps in your therapy. You would wait upon hours after asking for nurse care or any kind of help. There physical and occupational therapy is amazing and work hard with you to get the best results. But it is all down hill from there and really stressful. They will send you home with no equipment if you don’t speak up, freeing your bed for the next patient seems to take priority.

Experiencia positiva: I was a little hesitant to come here after my surgery for inpatient therapy because of the reviews. However during my stay I had nothing but a good experience. All of the nurses, physical therapist and occupational therapist I encountered were extremely nice and very uplifting. I left with a more positive attitude and given great techniques to use at home. My only negative is that when I was discharged I had a hard time finding a pharmacy that had my pain meds in stock and felt Ballars could have helped a little more in helping me find a pharmacy because pharmacies would only give us info if we came in with the prescription. I had zero luck after going to 10 different pharmacies and end up going 4 days with no pain meds bc of the holiday weekend.

Experiencia negativa: This place is bottom of the barrel and a disgrace to healthcare. I feel sorry for the few competent people who work there. I have multiple complaints and intend to take them as high as I possibly can to ensure that every patient is properly cared for.

Experiencia negativa: My daughters was referred to this facility by our insurance company and when I called to set up services. I was told that they dont take autism patients. They refused to service my daughter due to her disability which goes against their anti discrimination policy and is unheard of. We Feel they discriminated her due to our ethnicity and i was told due to autism just so they can cover themselves up. Since when does a autistic patient need more room inorder to be treated. Today Covid-19 is blamed for everything including the ok to commit fraud and discrimination. I have just contacted the CDC and they stated their their no such guidelines aginst any disabled person.

You call there and get rude people who care nothing about the reason your calling and push it off to someone else. I would not recommend this place to anyone

Experiencia fantástica: Ballard has taken good care of me (Misty Esqueda) regain feeling back in my legs. I have been here since end of September and today is October 11 and going home 15th. Ballard has become family to me and would come back if I needed rehabilitation again! Thank you Ballard for making me feel like family have had so much fun here learning the way you teach us to regain independence!!!

Experiencia fantástica: I would like to thank everyone at Ballard for the care I received. I can't emphasize how great all the staff is in the rehabilitation process and knowledge they provided. I never realized what nursing, occupational therapy and physical therapy help would do for me. We definitely need more of these wonderful human beings in this world. Experiencia negativa: This place is awful. I mean awful. Ok, the therapists are nice. But the staff, the facility, the food... All terrible. Under threat of leaving AMA they try to keep you as long as possible to charge the maximum amount. The communication is a joke. They'll tell your loved ones one thing and when they leave, it's too bad for you! Canned food, 10" television, (yes 10"), no cable! No CNAs to help you with anything, seriously under manned, AVOID THIS PLACE IF YOU POSSIBLY CAN!!!

My nephew was involve in a car accident, he got his leg amputated, broken arm and third degree burns on his other arm, foot amputated, he was sent to this place by a hospital for recovery. He didn’t get help for a day, neither his medication that his doctor prescribed him. He was in so much pain that he had to call 911, and it seems that staff of this place got upset because he call 911. He hasn’t have the opportunity to take the medicine that was prescribed a week ago because this place is not helping to get the medicines or the prescription that the doctor send to them a week ago.

Experiencia negativa: If I could rate this facility a zero I would. We had a Terrible experience here. My step son was recovering from a accident there and had his money stolen. When he would ask for assistance from the nurse assigned to him they could not be found. A lot of unaccounted personal went in and out of his room, hence the reason why his money was stolen. If you are assigned to this location request to go somewhere else.

Experiencia fantástica: I was required to do my on-site assignment, which I had to find out what the Ballard rehabilitation hospital provides. It is very mind-blowing. I mean it is really great to know the existence of rehabilitation center is only the mission to meet individuals with level of injuries that require physical therapy in order to gain the abilities to live the independence. Truly awesome!!! Very fortunate to know something new about this rehabilitation center!

Experiencia positiva: **Update** 06/28/2019 I'm here to update my review, as they have corrected as much as they could. They have done so much to try to please and take care of my needs. I am very happy that they have done their best. A few of their nurses named Justin, Jenn, Janet, and Stephanie has been so phenomenal. They went above and beyond to make my experience here a pleasurable one. As far as physical therapists, Leslie, Lina, Heidi, Daisy, and everyone who was with me, all did their job passionately and with care unseen anywhere else. The management, like James from respiratory, Patty from marketing, Aneez the chief nursing officer and so many more, here have done such an excellent job at correcting the mishaps and mistakes that have been made. My CNA's like Alex, Ariel, the guy from Nigeria and a few other treated me like friends I've had for years. To all of you, I say thank you. Thank you for being there for me. You are all amazing and I truly appreciate you guys and gals. To the upper management, thank you for correcting your faults, not everyone would do what yall have done. I will miss you guys.... Now as far as the kitchen goes, I suggest getting staff who care and want to please the patients. Also, I still never received my wallet back nor has anyone talked to me about it, I dont care for the money or id's inside just my pictures. I also wanted to mention, the guy in charge of the Physical therapists and occupational therapists, is rude, careless, emotionless, and you can tell he is only there cause he has a paycheck coming to him, not that he cares for any of the patients. Original review ((((((((So I am a current patient here, to make it brief, I had open heart surgery, on my 3rd day here at Ballard I was left outside and forgotten outside for hours until dark and I had to wheel myself back to the front, breaking my precautions, my chest scars was ripped open by trying to get to the front. The security sat on his lazy butt without a care that I was bleeding. When I was taken back to my room I asked for water immediately and was denied due to a paper on the wall saying I was on fluid restrictions, which I was not. The CNA was too lazy to listen to me when I asked her to look on the computer to confirm that I was not on a fluid restriction. I want given water until midnight. Now there are people here that care and are doing their job, amazingly might I add. As far as the kitchen staff go, I ran a restaurant myself for a long time and never came across such lazy staff. I have an allergy, no one was able to tell me what the ingredients that were used, so I asked for a simple 3 ingredient sandwich, Turkey, bread, cheese. They said the were not doing any special meals at the time, but they made fish and hamburgers for som of the other patients. Even though that's all I had since I been here was that simple sandwich. It is uncalled for and it is lazy. All I ate that night was applesauce. Again there are people who care but there are a lot of things that take place here that are uncalled for and must be fixed. She was very patient and and kind with him, even though he does not understand English. She even asked how to say the words in Lao. Experiencia negativa: Wish I could rate it less than one! Let me say...BEAUTIFUL FACILITY! Came in for a walk through. Highly impressed! Went through the process to accept my family member into the hospital Signed HIM WITH FINAL PAPERWORK. THEY WERE GOING TO MOVE HIM! He was prepped for arrival. Then they Called us LITERALLY AFTER THEY KICKED US OUT OF THE HOSPITAL ROOM CAUSE THEY WERE PREPPING HIM FOR THE DELIVERY AMBULANCE and said that the "Doctor" Rejected him. CHANGE YOUR PROCEDURES!!!!!!!!!! You cant keep accepting people then at the literal last minute DENY. You are getting peoples hopes up for nothing. Check my other reviews I am NOT a picky person. This place should be shut down. SLIMY PRACTICES.

Experiencia fantástica: I spent 3 weeks there couldn't get up on my own and could not walk. In three weeks time i was doi.ng everything on my own. Ive been home for 1 year did outpatient therapy in apple valley and and am doing great now. Thank you for your amazing staff.

Experiencia fantástica: The staff here has been very caring and understanding of all my son's needs they have been amazing through this horrible ordeal, everyone has treated us kindly and have help a lot with my son's rehabilitation thanks to all their hard work and commitment he is now able to walk after suffering a stroke that left him paralyzed from the left side of his body, there isn't enough words to express how grateful and thankful we are to everyone at Ballard.

Experiencia fantástica: My Dad (Arthur Webb) was recently sent to Ballard Rehab Hospital after having a stroke. The hospitality and treatment he received at Ballard was top-notch. The staff was very caring, and the physical therapy team helped him to make significant progress in a relatively short period of time. Most importantly, my Dad felt well cared for and in good hands. Great facility, PT services and overall operation. Thanks for taking care of our Dad, Ballard!!

Experiencia negativa: Horrible communication skills & uncaring management. We were told mom was accepted for some aggressive physical therapy this week as the last & final stop in getting her home. She was excited as were the family! Then we were told last minute they changed their mind. What a heartbreak at the end of an 8mo long horrific painful event for mom. She will come home sunday in an ambulance. Bedridden forever..as ballard was our last option. I should have never been told YES! only for you to say "just kidding" so screw you all!

The final step before home.,mom's excited to go as are we! Then Ballards management changed their mind and says she's outta luck.,great! Now she is on a flipping been an & bedridden till she dies! Screw you Ballards! You should have never committed! You have horrific business practices & I'm reporting you.
