Children's Subacute Center - Community Hospital of San Bernardino - San Bernardino

Experiencia negativa: We had my grandson there for 6 months. He lost 3 pounds and never gained an oz. It took them 4 days to send my grandson to the ER while making excuses why he was so bad off. I trusted their medical opinion when I should not have. There are a few people I'm blessed to have know but it was not worth the risk to our baby to stay their one day more. All of the positive things that were pointed out to us when we went to see the center never happened. Staff argued when we pointed out the lack of staffing for infants, no one in the halls, charge nurse, room nurse and respiratory dont know what is going on in the others day or the child. No one communicates. Our grandson ( 1 yr old) was left alone for long periods and had a diaper rash from day one till he left. Finally he went to Loma Linda for ER care. They could not get the right number for the center, they could not get complete medical info, and at one point I had the nutrientist from loma linda on the phone with me talking to the charge nurse and she was to busy "charting" to look up info for the hospital until I lost it. In 2 weeks at Loma linda our grandson is doing better than he did in 6 months their. He's on the correct formula, the correct amount, meds have been stopped that he did not even need. And they have a nurse with him 100% of the time because he's a "baby" who needs 100% care and attention. Sadly we live too far away to be bedside every day like we would like to be, but he should not suffer for our situation. We have not even started at the new facility and after all we have learned I know we made the right choice to get him the heck away from their.

Experiencia negativa: This place does not care for the well-being of the child. Nor do they characterize people in the right sence. They , by they I mean. social worker Luz, told me that I would see my son leave the facility until July 2024 , she told me this back in September of 2023. Well guess what! I moved my boy immediately, and it was the best decision ever! Because even the doctor there judged me, saying that she had been married before , and that she wouldn’t sign for my son to leave with me even if I took there training , because my son had a step father. Who has been in my sons live since he was a baby. In fact my son’s step father that she looked badly at, all because we weren’t married , and said “I’ve been married before” judging the situation. Is actually the only man left in my son’s life, and family, besides all my child’s siblings that is. And but wait, that same doctor was fulfilled to release my son with his biological father, even if it was just him that trained. The same man , that according to them was the best fit, who was actually the man that paralyzed my son from the chest down ! And I told them that, but they turned a bold eye. They even referred him over to the Ronald McDonald , even after I told him , he was a se*offender. These people at this facility I think really thrive from wanting your child to not succeed , but it’s okay, my son only a month later after he left that place is now at home with me, happy and living with all his biological and step siblings, I have all my kiddos under my roof , and I am greatful to have put my baby in better hands, away from these people

Experiencia negativa: DONT DONT DONT I REPEAT DONT COME HERE ! Worst place ever ! Staff never answers kids are all dirty they won’t let you take your kids home and they won’t tell you why !!!! Save you and your kid and stay far away from this facility!!!!!! My SON IS CURRENTLY THEIR AND ITS BEEN HORRIBLE ! I BEG YOU DONT GIVE THEM YOUR KIDS !!
