Came here, they evaluated it, gave me excersies, and now 2 months later it feels much much better. Before coming to BEST, I was scared I'd never be able to go back to even normal stuff. Can finally go back to the gym also. The key is to do the excersies daily and understand that it'll likely take a while to heal. It's not an instant fix.

On the morning of the appointment, they called to ask if we could reschedule; The first visit was handled by an intern. I am not saying there is anything wrong with interns, but in this case, doesn't it require a doctor to guide or check at the end? No doctor showed up from the beginning to the end.

Experiencia fantástica: I came to BEST Physical Therapy 2 years ago with "snapping hip syndrome". Having been in PT twice before, I was pleased to find excellent physical therapists (Cathy & Chaula) who listened and addressed the pain and weakness in my hip and leg. Then, I was pleasantly surprised to find the additional support of an ongoing, on-site Core 2 exercise class I could drop into. I have enjoyed it these past 2 years making new friends. The office itself is an inviting, comfortable and well equipped space with natural light from large windows. The staff is always helpful communicating scheduling and billing details in a timely manner. Above all, it is a friendly, welcoming place focused on helping people feel their best.

Experiencia negativa: This PT center was a complete letdown for me. Despite the positive reviews, my experience was far from satisfactory. After my back surgery, I needed PT to address my ongoing fatigue and discomfort on my back. Unfortunately, they were the only ones with many available appointments, so I gave them a shot. Right from the start, it felt like they were more interested in rushing through appointments than addressing my concerns. During my evaluation, I barely got 21 minutes of their time. I had to remind the guy multiple times about my concerns with my sitting and walking posture because he seems so busy to wrapped up and start the next patient. They for sure make me feeling uncared for. Even though my first visit was disappointing, I STILL attended a second appointment DUE TO SO MANY GOOD REVIEWS, But it was even WORSE – the clinic was overcrowded, very hot with strong gym sweat smell. And to top it off, my appointment this time only lasted LESS THAN 16 minutes!!!!! It's evident they prioritize profits over patient care. Save yourself the hassle and avoid this place at all costs. With plenty of other PT options in the Bay Area, there's no need to settle for subpar treatment.

Experiencia fantástica: Chaula and Nikkie were excellent providing the care and therapy needed to rehabilitate my broken wrist. Exercises were given and a follow along video of the exercises kept me on track at home. I felt very comfortable working with Nikkie who was very caring and attentive to my needs. Both Chaula and Nikkie have the expertise to provide the needed therapy. I highly recommend Best Physical Therapy.

Experiencia positiva: I started going to Best Physical Therapy due to a bad shoulder and protruding ribs. The staff were very helpful, although the place was very packed. I had never been to a physical therapy place before and I was overwhelmed immediately. All of the patients are in one room doing various exercises and stretches. It can be very overwhelming because you don't know where to stand without being in someone else's way, let alone do any of your assigned exercises. Unfortunately due to how busy they were I could only schedule appointments early in the day, which was a really bad time. I'm not a very physical person and being surrounded by a bunch of people while doing different stretches was humiliating. It is very frustrating to be placed in a room full of people and not know what to do and where to go. After a couple of months my shoulder pain wasn't getting any better and all of the frustration and embarrassment took its toll, I stopped going. The staff were kind and helpful, but overall I wasn't able to use the service. Looking back, I wish I had spoken up about the bad scheduling and feeling overwhelmed at my appointments. Because I was new to physical therapy I felt like I had to just go along with stuff instead of bringing up any issues.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been going to BEST physical therapy from 4 months for 2 injuries. The care and treatment I’ve received here are beyond amazing. The therapists, aides and front desk staff are all extremely helpful and they genuinely care about patients. Chaula in particular has been super tuned to my pain points and has worked her magic to heal me and help me get back to hiking and outdoors again after a very long break. I am glad I chose to go here for my recovery.

The best part amongst many: they teach you ways to prevent injuries using a plethora of different exercises - although this is standard, the rigor and follow through is great - they also use an online system to customize the exercise routine - which can be referenced while doing the exercises at home- to stay on track and correctly since the online system comes with short video clips on how to do the exercises right. All in all, I strongly recommend this place for effective treatment and injury prevention techniques once treatment is over.

Experiencia fantástica: I was sent to this AMAZING physical therapy office six weeks ago. My first appointment was an assessment of my injury and for them to look at my x rays and CT scan. I am a retired ballet dancer, and currently a ballet coach, so I know my body pretty well. I was more than impressed by in depth knowledge Patti had while moving her very experienced hands over the pain areas and affected areas. She knew exactly what was going on and how to treat me. Sciatica pain is the worst, and this facility is well equipped to prescribe just the right exercises for your specific problem. I have mostly been working with the very talented physical therapist Catherine, and she is extremely knowledgeable as well, she answers any and all questions and guides you expertly through the much needed exercises precribed just for you. In each case my pain was drastically reduced or gone and the custom exercise plan made the affected joints or muscle groups stronger. Experiencia fantástica: I had cervical spinal narrowing, causing nerve pain and discomfort on my right hand. I did acupuncture several times. It lessened the discomfort but didn't fix the root cause. I am very happy to have found Chaula at Best Physical Therapy. She is experienced and patient. She went through my MRI report and then devised a multi-week series of therapies. She helped me strengthen my muscles and resolve the nerve problem. I highly recommend Chaula and her staff.

Experiencia fantástica: I went to BEST Physical Therapy six months ago with a great deal of pain in my left hand. I lost my mobility in my left hand and could not do my regular activities. I thought I lost my left hand and would not be able to recover from this pathetic pain. When I approached BEST Physical Therapy they carefully diagnosed my issue, found out the root cause, and started proper treatment. Not only this, but Kathy always pays special attention to the patient on their correct postures and exercises. At the end of the final session we discovered that my left hand was stronger than right hand. I really appreciate their effort in my recovery and recommend them to anyone with severe pain.

Kathy is the owner and is very knowledgeable and skilled. You can be assured you are in good hands and she knows exactly how to treat. She trains her therapists and oversees them while they are treating patients so that she can give input to them. She maintains high standards for the aids and the therapists. The facility is always clean. Kathy made special accommodations for me outdoors since I was at high risk for COVID. Chaula is an excellent therapist and coaches the patients very compassionately and patiently with exercises and home care and uses her time with the patient very well. She also teaches Core Yoga classes. The aids are very kind and helpful to teach exercises and have good bed side manners during our ice, heat and stem sessions. Thank you team.

She has been extremely attentive and caring. I have seen huge improvement in my lower back pain. The desk staff and all assistants is courteous and friendly.

Experiencia positiva: Postives: Patricia Trupp is the most insightful PT I have worked with. About 6 preceded her and none could not fix my swimmer's shoulder. She has made great progress on it. I very much appreciate the therapy she gives with each visit. Patty gets 7 stars. Negatives: communications and patient management systems are archaic. For the first appointment, there were no written instructions and Google sent me to a wrong address, so I was very late. Exercises are on paper, but elsewhere they are an app with videos to follow. The phone system is especially problematic. A recorded message plays for about a minute giving lots of information, hours, and instructions. You key in your selection, and then a recorded message in a man's voice gives you exactly the same information, word for word. This is a big time waster, and it is often difficult to reach a human being. The patient management system gets 3 stars (generously). These average to 4 stars, which I think is fair.

She is very professional and knowledgeable. She continued to provide me with challenges to help me even on my last visit. Chaula listened to my concerns and sometimes I was embarrassed to share with her that my back had slipped back into to stiffness after I would stand all day working on a craft. I picked BEST Physical Therapy and, after months of three visits a week, am glad I did. The therapists are skillful and keep detailed records. They avoid any unnecessary pain in their exercises and are compassionate about what is necessary. Moreover, they are interesting and eloquent to a degree that their conversation helps distract from any discomfort.

They are extremely professional, experienced, friendly, and super safe and attentive especially with regard to Covid-19 safety protocols. I have been receiving OUTSTANDING care and advice for multiple chronic injuries. Over the years I have gone to other Physical Therapists in the Bay Area and BEST Physical Therapy is truly the BEST.
