My main physical therapist is Todd but I’ve also seen Phil, Lyndsay and Aaron who are all amazing and have got me from 35 degree bend on my recently broken knee to 135 in just 2 weeks! They listen and advise and provide suitable exercises which are then put into an App for me to do at home. Great environment, enjoy my visits.

Experiencia fantástica: I had Tyler help me with a lower back pain in December and after 3 sessions improvement was achieved. He taught me a number of effective exercises and I was even able to go to the ocean and search among rocks wearing a wetsuit searching for sea urchins. I highly recommend Tyler along with other PT staff for their knowledge and professional service. Yosh

Experiencia fantástica: Nicole Bamrah was the best physical therapist I've ever worked with. I came in for my initial evaluation for shoulder pain from racket sports. A previous different PT clinic said it was a rotator cuff issue, but Nicole suggested shoulder impingement instead. I used the session time to review exercises and ask questions about proper form and understanding my injury. Nicole was patient, encouraging, and professional. I never felt discouraged from asking more questions. I've been to other PT places where they don't really monitor you closely when you do exercises, where you're kind of left alone after the first few reps. Nicole was watching the entire time to offer feedback. This was important to me. I was able to begin returning to playing sports after 7 weeks. Nicole caught the right issue different from what another PT clinic suggested, fixed my posture and shoulder at the same time, encouraged asking questions, and gave me exercise feedback the entire time every session. I feel so lucky to have been under her care. Thank you Nicole! I would have liked if the clinic allowed 45 minute sessions.

Experiencia fantástica: I worked with Nicole, who coordinated a team of skilled professionals in helping me with my lower back issues. I had trouble lifting equipment, doing yard work and just walking medium distances. After following the exercise plan Nicole suggested and doing proper lifting routines during therapy sessions, my pain subsided and I am now walking with little or no pain and lifting equipment properly which eases the strain on my lower back. Nicole was very pleasant to work with, encouraging and knowledgable. Her firm/friendly approach helped me get better!

Experiencia negativa: don't like their accounting practice. I visited this place last year for my back/neck pain, they charge me for each visit to my credit card, but my insurance already reach to the maximum out of pocket and covered 100%. I stopped visits at the end of last year. Today I found out my credit card is being overcharged and called them. They told me they will start to process the refund and it takes 6-7 weeks to process it. I don't like this accounting practice. If I don't call them, they will pretending they not know it and will just keep the over charge. For the physical therapy, OPTM only give you 30min for each visit, but I get about 1hr for each visit at other PT place. They are pretty much doing the same thing. I get massage and heat pad / e-stim for extra 30 min compare to OPTM, which does not have it.

Experiencia fantástica: Shea is a fantastic physical therapist! She has helped me tremendously. First with pain in my lower back and now in the shoulder . I highly recommend OPTM. They are fantastic.

Experiencia fantástica: The team does a great job of communicating with the patients as well as each other to ensure every individual case is being treated as an individual. Ive worked with 4 different trainers and each bring their own unique styles and knowledge but at the same time they check in with each other to make sure we are all on the same page and doing the best to help my recovery.

I’m 10 weeks post-op now and I can’t believe the amount of progress I’ve made with Aish as my physical therapist. I am blown away by her level of expertise and can’t thank her enough. She has a god given talent as a physical therapist , and I feel so fortunate to have found her. Also, a shout out to Joce for running such an awesome clinic! It’s the most streamlined, clean, professional and organized business thanks to her.

Experiencia fantástica: I worked with Ben and Nicole and this is my second time with OPTM. The therapists are very good at pinpointing the patient's problem and addressing it with very effective exercises. I am more than happy with my time here.

Experiencia fantástica: I received a quick and accurate diagnosis of the flaws in my post-op lubar fusion mechanics. I was doomed to a strained, uncomfortable, hunched existence until OPTM taught me how to realign and develop the core strength to regain and support my pre-op posture. It's hard work and only you/I can do the work, but OPTM unlocked, then taught me the kinesthetic awareness that restored my hope and illuminated my path back to healthy, functional, posture correct movement.

He is very good at assessing my injury and providing me with great care. I would not go anywhere else.

Experiencia fantástica: OPTM has pretty good therapists. My family has been going here for quite some time now. We have worked with John, Phil, Troy, Adrian and Todd, and they are all skilled at their job. Todd is my favorite, and his style works wonders for me! He is very thorough in his approach, does a lot of manual hands on work if needed (without rushing through it), and is very knowledgeable in his field. Also very pleasant to talk to!

The two PT's I've recently worked with have been terrific and helped me resume my normal activities including my cardio and resistance training at the gym. Now my husband is a client and he's also getting excellent and very professional therapy.

Experiencia positiva: It really makes a difference who you work with. I love my sessions with Shereen Thomas. I gave 4 stars for OPTM, but Shereen is a 5 star physical therapist! I got an ACL reconstruction with my quad graft and LET. My surgeon said quad grafts typically have a harder recovery than the usual hamstring graft, and recovery has definitely been rough for me, despite the prehab I did. However, working with Shereen helps me see the light at the end of the tunnel! She pushes you so that you can progress, but she somehow does it in a way that makes it enjoyable and motivating. The whole session, she pays attention to YOU and responds with kindness and tact. Thus, her coaching style is very interactive and encouraging. I highly recommend her! One of the other physical therapists made me feel like I was just another client he wanted to hurry up and finish working with. He did not give me much opportunity to speak up or give feedback because I felt rushed. The worst part is he lifted my leg up from my knee all of a sudden. I just had surgery the week before, so I could barely bend my leg without pain. I screamed so loud and he didn't even apologize. While I was catching my breath to calm down from the pain, he asks "…so what do you do for work?", trying to change the subject. So unprofessional and the lack of humility to apologize was appalling. There was a student watching, so maybe he was too embarrassed to admit he did something wrong. Either way, his behavior was inexcusable. Never going back to him.

Experiencia fantástica: See the Dynamic Duo Shea S. & Nick F. Shea is an excellent Physical Therapist (PT) who has helped me manage the pain that radiates down my right shoulder blades by relieving pressure in my neck due to some compressed discs due to aging. She has also designed a strengthening exercise program for my neck, shoulders and back muscles. Lastly, she recommended a laser treatment program that has done wonders to alleviate the pain I’m experiencing in those areas. Which is where Nick comes into the picture. He’s an PT Technician who applies the treatment to the affected areas in my neck, shoulders and back in such a way that not only am I receiving a laser treatment, but I’m also receiving a mini deep tissue massage at the same time. I give this Dynamic Duo 5 stars, as with their assistance I’m able to continue doing one of the two exercise activities that brings me joy, hiking. We’re working on me being able to do the other, swimming. A far cry from when I first started seeing this team and experienced extreme pain in the right side of my chest.

Experiencia fantástica: I had hip surgery in June and once cleared for PT, I had to wait an additional month before Kaiser could work with me so I was extremely thankful when I was introduced to OPTM. Joce got me set up quickly and explained the process thoroughly. She was able to get me in 3x a week. I was first evaluated by Troy who then helped me with cupping (something I was extremely nervous about but then found tremendous relief from) followed by John who is amazing! His energy and obvious love of his job is awesome. They listen to your needs and alter each session to give you what makes sense that day. They are encouraging and knowledgeable. They consider my job (dance instructor) and give me movements/exercises that are beneficial. I look forward to continuing my PT with OPTM and referring my own dance students to them.

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been coming to OPTM for about 3 months now, and luckily fully recovered. Everyone was wonderful especially the front desk and aides. They made my journey less stressful, the Pcc front desk have great customer service always trying to help. The aides that helped me with my exercises knew what they were doing, willing to answer any questions or doubts I had. Overall, it was a great experience!

The therapist John is very professional, knowledgeable and effective in treatments and try to tackle roots of the causes for the pain and disorder. I am feeling better each day. They helped me to re-build the weak muscle, solve range of motion problem and learn how to walk normally. I have very happy experience here and really appreciate their help.

Experiencia fantástica: OPTM has been there for me thru knee replacement and two shoulder surgeries! Their staff took great care of me and my recovery was smooth and on target. They are the consummate professionals and I highly recommend them. In 2024 I continue to see them to keep me in top shape. Experiencia fantástica: Unfortunately I have spent way too much time in physical therapy for various injuries over the last couple years. But I have been very very happy with the service and treatment that I got at OPTM from my therapist, Troy Smith. I have been very consistent with the stretching and exercises that he has given me and have definitely seen results. I saw him a year ago for a knee injury and consistently followed his advice for maintaining the knee so that I haven't had issues again- even while hiking and skiing. Most recently I've been there for a frozen shoulder. It's 96% healed now and I hope by following the advice I'll be able to keep it that way!

Experiencia fantástica: Troy is awesome! I have a medial bone to bone knee but had no symptoms till recently. Could barely walk. Troy took the time to analyze all factors and pointed out that there were several things coming to play with the biggest one being my IT band and other muscles being too tight from over exercise and later that my knee cap was not moving.Much better after 6 sessions though still some more to go. I’hoping to avoid knee replacement at least for now. He takes the time every session to validate his theory and adjust treatment plus a lot of patience to explain.Thanks!

Experiencia fantástica: This is a long pending review! OPTM was able to take me in immediately after I called them for my back pain. I was flying out abroad in 2 weeks for an important event and they made a treatment plan to help me get relief as soon as possible. The laser therapy was actually pretty helpful with the pain too. I can’t thank the staff and therapists enough for their availability and excellent treatment. Thanks to them, I made my month long trip and I’m looking forward to continuing my treatment with them.

Experiencia fantástica: I had a left knee replacement in Oct. 2022. I started therapy at OPTM of Saratoga that same week. My therapist Selina Woodham helped me right away with a exercise program. I had several ups and downs with my recovery and she was always very caring and responsive to what she needed to do per visit. its been 15 wks and my Dr. say's I'm doing great! The whole staff was very professional and so pleasant. They all inspired me in my recover. Thank you OPTM staff:)

Experiencia fantástica: I tore my Achilles tendon 3 days before my Nationals gymnastics competition and went from being a capable athlete to being unable to walk. After surgery, I really needed rehab badly and over the last 8 months, Natalie at OPTM was instrumental in my recovery! She patiently worked with me to restore my abilities one bit at a time, and now I am 100% back in gymnastics again! During this recovery, Natalie broke down all the functions of my damaged leg and worked with me to rehab all of my mobility and strength. She even taught me how to walk down the stairs again because I apparently forgot how to do that! Without Natalie and OPTM my recovery just wouldn't be the same!

Experiencia fantástica: I cannot recommend OPTM, and in particular Dr. Emily S, enough. After a traumatic delivery with my first child in 2020, I was helped tremendously by one of the therapists at OPTM for pelvic floor physical therapy. She was so knowledgeable and sensitive, I felt very comfortable going to our appts. Then when I was pregnant with my second in 2021, I was having issues with tailbone and hip pain, and started seeing Emily. I have been seeing her for about a year and she helped me prior to my seconds birth and also afterwards. I was able to bring him to my appts with me, which was hugely helpful at times. My pain has almost disappeared since seeing her and I am so much stronger. I understand how my body works a lot more because of her education as well. She is very passionate about her job and treats her patients with such compassion and tenderness. Do not hesitate to go see her or any of the other skilled PTs at this office!

Experiencia fantástica: I highly recommend OPTM! I have been a patient of Emily’s for the past 3 months and couldn’t speak more highly of Emily‘s expertise, the clinic and my overall experience. They are super organized and it is very easy to make and change appointments as needed. I really appreciate the flexibility of the front desk staff and how easy they were to work with. Emily is is passionate about her work as a Pelvic Floor PT. I came to her after delivering my second baby. OPTM was the only clinic in the area that offered this highly specialized treatment that my insurance would cover. Emily created a customized plan to get me back to doing all the activities I was doing before carrying and delivering two kids: running, CrossFit, and living a generally active life. I was so impressed with the progress we made together in three months. Finally- shout out to the staff for helping this mama feel comfortable bringing my infant baby to PT twice a week! It’s impossible to find childcare while on maternity leave but they made it easy to bring him with me. Thanks to Kyle, Hannah, Vanessa, and Henry for helping keep the little guy happy so I could recover and become my best self. Thanks, OPTM. I tell all my new mom friends about you!

Experiencia fantástica: This my second time going to OPTM. I worked with Emily and she was very knowledgeable with pelvic floor. She helped me during pregnancy and postpartum and I credit her for my speedy recovery and easier birth.

Experiencia fantástica: After baby #2 I knew that I wanted to give some special attention to my pelvic floor and help strengthen it. Emily is an amazing pelvic floor PT!! I’ve learned so much about my body, how to kegel properly, and overall core strength. She was so welcoming, and especially enjoyed when I brought baby boy along for the appointments. I learned a ton and got stronger after each session. Highly recommended for all my postpartum mamas!!

Experiencia negativa: I had 3 sessions in total — each session was half an hour long and each provider spent approximately 20 out of the 30 minutes asking me about my physical history and problems. Over three sessions I left with TWO exercises to do at home… the whole point of seeing a PT is for them to guide you through the exercises so that you can do them correctly at home, but they only dedicated the last 10 minutes of session to show me corrective exercises. It’s just not enough time and because each PT has so many clients, I didn’t feel like I was being seen as an individual, just another patient to be checked off in the scheduling system. My experience with Adrian in particular left a sour taste in my mouth… I had him for my third session, during which he spent the first 15 minutes giving me puzzled and judgmental looks as I explained my issue. I was hopeful he would be able to help me solve my problem seeing as how this was my third visit, but instead of asking questions to better diagnose my issue, he suggested that the PT (who referred me to him!!) would be a better fit for my problem! He also constantly mentioned how “due to time constraints” he wouldn’t be able to guide me through the full set of exercises and only gave me one exercise to work on when I left. I felt like he was just killing time until my session time with him was over and he could move onto his next patient — he kept reassuring his next patient that he would be with them shortly, while my session with him was still ongoing. Terrible experience that made me question PT facilities like this in general. Two stars because my first PT Lindsay was very attentive and caring, it actually felt like she was listening to me and wanted to help me instead of just trying to collect a check. I recommend seeing Lindsay if you do visit this place, otherwise a private PT would be a much better option

Experiencia fantástica: OPTM Physical Therapy of Saratoga has been great to work with, they are on-time, organized, friendly, and the facility is well equipped and clean. Selina Woodham was assigned to my treatment (recovery from a broken femur) and she was awesome to work with. Besides being energetic, upbeat and supportive, she is very knowledgeable and listened carefully to my feedback regarding my condition as I progressed. Continually she responded with the appropriate exercises, strengthening, stretching, and reasonable pushing to get me to the next level. I could very often hear other therapists working with their patients and a constant theme I noticed at OPTM was positively challenging each patient to make progress. My patient experience was excellent.

Experiencia fantástica: I've been going to OPTM Saratoga on and off over the years. The PTs I have worked with are very professional and competent. I have seen them for many different issues and they seem to have appropriate PTs for all of them. The latest issue I had is with my hips and pelvic floor, and they have a wonderful Dr. Emily who helped me with immediate relieves and long-term care I can do for myself. In fact, I think I got too comfortable talking to Emily that I probably was prolonging my sessions more than necessary. I feel that I'm on my way to full recovery and OPTM has been tremendous help in getting me there.

Experiencia fantástica: The best PT he has fixed my knee now my elbow thank you Troy ! Magic Healing Hands. I am doctor and know how variable the body can be . Troy is able to get to the root of the problem as much as is humanly possible and fix it . If you have musculoskeletal issues go to Troy first before letting your doctor treat it .

I particularly like that the exercises she set up for me are still available to review on their app personalized for me. Her instructions were clear and I feel that my experience was 100% successful. Experiencia fantástica: Last spring I had back surgery and have been seeing Troy at OPTM in improve the fluidity of my walking as well as my endurance. He's been terrific! Not only have I improved considerably with his guidance and help, but he's made the appointments fun and something to look forward to. I am happy to highly recommend Troy and OPTM!

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve unfortunately needed PT too many times. Everything from tennis elbow, torn rotator cuff to recovery from neck surgery. The team at OPTM is awesome. It’s a great facility. The therapists are pros and know what they are doing. Have always been super happy with the results.

Experiencia fantástica: My experience at OPTM was excellent. My physical therapist (Selina) helped me work out knee and elbow pain much quicker than expected. She was able to improve my leg resistance strength from 3.5 out of 5 to a 5 in just three weeks. The stretching and exercises provided during my visits were very effective. She also followed up with posting the exercises on the mobile app which made it easy to repeat the drills at home. There's not a magic wand to a speedy recovery; discipline doing the "homework" is an important piece of the therapy and Selina enabled me to be successful with that. I highly recommend OPTM.

Experiencia fantástica: When balance problems overtook me and five falls from a standing position, I found Nicole at Saratoga OPTM Physical Therapy. I asked for a teddy bear sort of physical therapist. Nicole does not ask of my body what it cannot give. She gently strengthened my body I have never met a PT so untuned with an elderly body and how to bring it back to health. She definitely gives her all to the person that comes to her. I highly recommend her for your PT needs. She is calm and caring She is getting results that I wanted.

Experiencia fantástica: I came back to OPTM for therapy following a right shoulder surgery I had done in April. Choosing OPTM over my network team was easy as I had used OPTM for my Left shoulder surgery recovery two years prior and received great service. My problem started in February after a fall in my garage. My right shoulder started to become more painful with movement and I was losing strength in my right arm. I could not do simple movements like reaching for things on shelves above my head . Sleeping was becoming more interrupted and it was hard to find a comfortable position. I finally had rotator cuff surgery in April and started therapy with OPTM a few weeks after surgery. Initially Natalie took a slow approach just working on pain free exercises to restore my range of motion (ROM). I met with her twice a week, and there were "homework assignments" that she gave me to do at home.These exercises were key to my steady progress and recovery. About 8 weeks into my recovery, Natilie got an assistant, Jordan, who complimented Natalie at our weekly sessions. Now, some 12 weeks after surgery, I have pain free movement (mostly) in my right arm and I am gaining strength to the level I was at prior to surgery. I can't say enough about the great treatment and support (mentally and physically) that I received from OPTM. I will be ever grateful for Natalie and Jordan. I am back playing with my grandkids and playing catch, which was my goal prior to therapy. Many Thanks to all the staff of OPTM - you are the greatest !!.

After meeting John, Natalie, and the other members of OPTM, I wondered why I had waited so long. The quality of treatment that I received was remarkable. From the minute I walked into the door for appointments, I was greeted by name and treated like a family member. Both John and Natalie took the time to really listen to my concerns and issues. They helped ease my worries and developed an exercise and a treatment plan that was successful in treating my back pain. After my 12 weeks of therapy, they made it a point to continue to offer their services should the pain return. I am truly appreciative for their dedication and commitment to patient care.

From the get go you could tell Natalie was experienced and knowledgeable, in addition to being attentive, friendly and patient. She always brought a fun and positive attitude to our sessions which made challenging exercises more enjoyable. My issues were resolved in a reasonable time and catered to my improvement without feeling rushed to complete sessions. Most of my family has used OPTM and if needed in the future I would not hesitate to be back.

She paired that with compassion, patience and a being a good listener. I appreciated the exercises she gave me to do at home, so that I could feel like I was working on things between my appts. She has a great attitude, is efficient and a good sense of humor. The issue I went in for was resolved in a very reasonable amount of time, but I never felt rushed. I would definitely utilize this service again, if needed.

Experiencia fantástica: I had a nerve injury in my neck, that started out relatively severe. After more than 12 weeks of healing and physical therapy I am able to do normal things again. Like look up. Or drive a car. And I can also do active things again, such as ride a mountain bike with my son. Natalie is terrific and was constantly experimenting and adjusting exercises to figure out what worked best for me. She is attentive, organized and fully engaged. I also worked with Phil who is excellent and able to give a different perspective. I'm no expert on medicine, but it is easy to recognize professionalism and competence in a workplace. I am thankful to have had such good support. I hope I never have to go back, but if I do, I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Experiencia fantástica: I just completed 8 weeks of post total knee replacement physical therapy at OPTM in Saratoga. Since I have had PT on this same knee several times, I was concerned that I wouldn't receive the intensity that I wanted for the best results. I was assigned Tyler Vinson as my physical therapist. Tyler was perfect because he provided the intensity and hard work that I desired but tempered my treatment to prevent injury while gaining strength and range of motion. While I wanted to be pushed hard, Tyler clearly explained the value of going slow to get the best results. OPTM is a beautiful facility and the staff, from the front desk to the physical therapists are professional and thorough. I highly recommend this location for optimal physical therapy results.

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve had a persistent knee problem for many years and physical therapy was prescribed over surgery. A friend told me I should give OPTM Saratoga a try as they had a good experience there. I had my first visit with Phil in February and just completed my last session. Phil worked with me on strengthening the muscles supporting the knee and appropriate stretching . Phil’s excellent care and assigned home exercises have me pain free for the first time in years. I’m now able to enjoy all activities and sports without the worry of my knee “giving out”. I recommend OPTM Saratoga for anyone looking for excellent care.

Experiencia fantástica: I went to OPTM for my knee after an ACL replacement. I had a really good experience and they helped rehab my knee so I was back in action. My physical therapist was friendly, knowledgeable, and helped my knee heal and get stronger. When my therapist was out, I worked with another person who was just as helpful. The place was always clean and well-maintained. I loved the equipment they had. I would’ve kept going for just general health if it was possible.

I am impressed with my physical therapist who helps me to understand how to do the exercises correctly, even explains why they are effective, and he is knowledgeable of the best exercises for my kyphosis. He also adjusts exercises to relieve any discomfort I may be having with a particular exercise. I am very satisfied and impressed with Troy Smith who is my therapist.

Experiencia fantástica: OPTM is one of the best PT clinics I have seen. I went in with hip discomfort and sciatica pain & numbness. The front desk staff were always very tentative to my request, and my therapist Natalie was very capable and patient with me, and it's a joy working with her on my issues. After about 3 months of treatment, my sciatica pain was completely cured, and I still do some of the exercises I learned from her to keep me in shape. BTW, their location is very convenient to me too, located in a quiet office mall of Saratoga, with plenty of parking.

Experiencia fantástica: Finding a physical therapy practice that would take new clients in the Bay Area without a wait, was a major challenge. OPTM was the only place that was able to help. I just finished a course of treatment following meniscus surgery and last weekend I went for a 3 hour hike and then a 5 mile run the next day, with no symptoms of pain. The office was well organized, and the equipment was constantly being cleaned. My therapist was Tyler, who was highly skilled and knowledgable, and helped give me extra motivation. I would not hesitate to recommend this place.

Nicole was very pleasant, interested in me as her client (although RJ did some of my appointments), listened to what I told her about my shoulder, was gentle although she pushed me enough for my strength to increase and my pain to decrease. Her directions for my exercises were clear and helpful. Kudos to her! She believes that people are important, not just their physical problems.
