I had an amazing experience from the ladies at the front desk to the physical therapists. Dean and Kyle were amazing as well as the other PTs I worked with. They were very helpful and professional. They taught me great exercises to keep and gave me deep tissue massage for problem areas. I highly recommend getting physical therapy with this team!

Experiencia fantástica: I've been diagnosed w/ a ganglion cyst on my right wrist several years ago. I've just lived w/ the reoccuring pain. While in physical therapy for my lower back, the therapist noticed I was wearing a wrist brace and asked the reason. I told him the reason why and they recommended I try shockwave therapy which I did. After doing 4 sessions of the shockwave therapy, the pain on my wrist is gone and there's only a slight bulge left where the cyst was located. The therapy will hurt, but after living w/ the reoccuring pain for several years, the pain and discomfort I felt for 15 minutes or less during those 4 sessions is better than having that reoccuring pain I've had for the past several years.

Experiencia fantástica: I initially sought out scv therapy for a technique I saw on their website. After my consultation they recommended shockwave therapy which I’d never heard of.. I’ve had two shoulder surgeries over the last 20 years and the muscles in that area are incredibly tight. After the shockwave and some regular pt I have a huge increase in my range of motion. I was impressed with my regular pt here too. Sessions are shorter but the pt stays with you the entire time. No “go do these exercises while I see 3 other patients”.. highly recommend!

Experiencia negativa: This used to be a wonderful place. No more! There are so many excellent Physical Therapy locations in the area, but this is not one of them. Poorly managed and no loyal to the patients. Try Henry Mayo another provider.

Experiencia negativa: SCV PT refuses treatment unless patient has credit card on file for missed appointments. Am unable to provide credit card, even though patient's Transportation is 'reliable' Access Paratransit. Requirement is unconscionable, neglecting treatment. Interesting is SCV PT cancelled an appointment a day before, but then called next day saying 'patient' did not cancel (they would have charged patient for their own incompetence). So watch your credit card statement carefully.

Experiencia fantástica: I’m VERY impressed with Dean and his team members John and Garo. They are all very knowledgeable and concerned about making you well. I’ve had therapists who cannot answer questions well and these 3 are very sharp… plus John gives the best therapeutic massage ever! Highly recommend this team and the facility is extremely new and clean, conveniently right off the freeway, and the reception staff are friendly and very efficient.

In a business where everyone is helpful and professional, this woman with her nasty attitude and incredibly rude demeanor is enough to sour my experience with SCV Therapy. If you have the misfortune of having to deal with Kimberly, get everything in writing, as she will not hesitate to lie straight to your face.

He’s got an elite sports training background, which makes his rehab strategies practical and effective. All of your time is put to good use when you are under treatment. They don’t leave you standing or lying around, unattended. Everyone is positive, but you’re going to be put to work!

The equipment is amazing and so much! I've been there 3 times and what a difference! During the evaluation they really get to know you and your specific problem so they can properly treat you! All therapy isn't the same it's done on a person to person basis they don't push you to do something your not ready for! So much better than any where I've been

Experiencia fantástica: If you want the best Physical Therapist, look no further. Dean is the best in the entire SCV. He is an absolute Amazon of knowledge and expertise. The only problem is there is only one of him. If we could just clone him that would be great! John who is also a PT is phenomenal! Just when I thought Dean was great, then I saw John! You cannot go wrong with either one of these Physical Therapists. SCVTherapy has the nicest staff. Susie, Hannah and Daisy at the front desk are always keeping me on the short call list in case of cancellations. They always call to see if I can come in. They understand my situation and always try to accommodate me. I appreciate this so much. The PT assistants are incredible! I really love Jared and Javi! Susanna is awesome too! They take such nice care of me when I’m there. They also are super knowledgeable but also make it fun while I’m there. I’ve been going to PT here now for 10 months regularly and I actually look forward to it! Thank you for taking such great care of me !!

Experiencia negativa: The facility is nice and the therapists were too. BUT! My ex made multiple appointments for my daughter without consulting me. Then she could not take her to the appointments and dropped them on me multiple times with short notice. I took her to all the ones I could. The ex cancelled a couple of the appointments and re-scheduled some as well. Today I had to cancel due to illness and they now tell me I can only bring my child if I call in the a.m. and take any time they can squeeze me into. Who can make that work? I work full time 30 miles away. I spoke to them about it and told them I wasn't the one that did all of this. But they don't care. Basically, that is their policy and now I am no longer able to take my daughter there. Not a reasonable decision. I'm out. And I'm complaining to Facey. I've never been treated so poorly by any Facey Doctors. They don't care about healing you, they just care about "filling the time slots" and money.

Experiencia fantástica: I cannot say enough about Dean at SCV Therapy. After I suffered a dislocated jaw meniscus during a dental procedure, my oral surgeon attempted to fix the problem under anesthesia but was not successful. I could not open my mouth and was in excruciating pain. Surgical options were being discussed. In a last-ditch effort to avoid surgery, I went to SCV Therapy because I knew from previous experience what great PTs they have. My dental professionals were skeptical that PT and manipulation could resolve this problem but they had never met Dean! He is passionate about his work and very knowledgeable. He made no promises nor did he downplay the discomfort I would experience. He seemed to sense exactly how much I could tolerate and he never pushed me beyond that point. After a particularly difficult session I sat in my car trying to relax. I closed my eyes and then, I yawned. A mouth-wide-open YAWN! It was a miracle! He had actually gotten the meniscus back into place. If you know anyone with TMJ issues - send them to Dean! He made a believer out of me (as well as my dentist and oral surgeon.) I am so grateful to him.

I have been lucky enough to have the same Physical Therapist Jey or Mikala & their assistants Suzannne & Ian for my treatments. I feel almost 100% better since going & doing my exercises at home. The receptionist Susie is top notch for accommodating your schedule with the Therapist. I also like that they & send text messages to remind you of your appointments. I cannot believe after 5 years suffering with my dizziness and seeing countless doctors he was able to finally help me. Experiencia fantástica: Dean Agular is the best! I've been suffering from recurring vertigo episodes for the last 5 years. It's been such a hopeless feeling all those years until my husband found this place and I met Dean. He is a vestibular vertigo specialist and he's helped relieve the spinning every time it happens. Unfortunately, there is no cure so it will continue to re-occur but I highly recommend Dean. He not only treated/treats my symptoms until it goes away but he also teaches me how to handle the initial symptoms until I am able to get in to see him. Thank you Dean! Salamat :)

I made an appointment and waited in the lobby only to be turned away. I made several phone calls and was called back and they again said they had no record of me and couldn't make an appointment. I showed them my ref number, insurance, and driver's license. They do not care.

Experiencia fantástica: I highly recommend SCV Therapy because they are excellent! Susie, the scheduler is very professional, nice and was great with my follow up appointments. My PT, Michael did a superb evaluation and has me set up on a plan for full recovery with an in office treatment and home exercises. He even realized that I needed OT and got that started for me. And, John, the OT, has a perfect plan and exercises to get me better. They are always on time so you do not have to sit and wait around to be seen which is great! I’ve been to other PT Offices and SCV is better!!

Experiencia fantástica: I came into SCV therapy with pain that had me wondering if I would ever walk normally or sleep well again. Tamara knew exactly what to do to get an accurate diagnosis. She explained what was happening to me with the help of her skeleton with nerves. I walking and sleeping better after only a few weeks of guided exercises. I am not yet 100% but Tamara has given me hope that I will get there. I sincerely thank her and the rest of the caring and knowledgeable staff at SCV therapy.

Years of visits to chiropractors, ear specialists, & neurologists the tests always came back clear. Then I met Dean Aguilar at SCV Physical Therapy. Dean was able to diagnose cervicogenic vertigo which can be caused by issues with the neck. Having the correct therapy and exercises have made a difference! Dean C Aguilar is a Godsend. The staff at SCV Therapy Services are personable, attentive, and provide great customer service.

She explained why I was having the pain and how she and her team were going to help elevate the pain. After six sessions there was a reduction of 90% of my shoulder pain. With another couple of sessions and continued exercises at home I should be pain free in the near future. This is the second successful experience with SCV Therapy in the last couple of years. Experiencia fantástica: My first long overdue PT appointment was last week at SCVTS, and I saw Nancy S. and Shelby. For the first time in decades, I felt that I was really listened to, and after just one visit I felt physically and emotionally relieved. Most importantly, I felt HOPE that I'd be able to manage my osteoarthritis! Nancy, who will oversee my treatment, very patiently and gently identified the issues caused by my osteoarthritis, eased my anxiety, explained what she hoped we would accomplish, and prescribed a course of treatment. She is so knowledgeable and compassionate. Shelby came in and taught me the exercises that I now do every day. She also was terrific and kept my spirits up! I also want to say that the two lovely women at reception could not have been more welcoming and helpful. Just a really fantastic experience.
