Experiencia negativa: My 85 year old mother was just there. The medical staff was great, however, somewhere between the ER and her room all her belongings were either lost or stolen. Clothing, shoes and IPhone. She was sent home in sweatpants, a very see through white tshirt and socks. ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE!!!

Experiencia fantástica: I want to share the wonderful experience my 85 year old mom (Maya Malek) recently had at Henry Mayo hospital in Santa Clarita. I don’t often write reviews but from the moment we arrived at the ER on Friday (8/29) till she was released on Sunday (8/31) she was handled with respect and received the best care. All the staff in the ER (Brianna and team) and Dr. Sakar, were caring, professional and very efficient. Dr. Sakar made sure she got all the necessary tests to ensure they would be giving her the right procedures. They also kept us informed of every test and diagnosis. When she was finally admitted that evening she was cared for by the excellent night staff (Michelle Andres and Randy) who were so caring and kind. They stayed on top of her every need throughout the night. Next day, Dr. Bayati and day staff (Sam, Reyna and all) continued the professional care she needed. For two days and nights she had the best care possible and we are thankful to everyone who brought my mom back to health.

Experiencia negativa: I had been exposed to e-coli when visiting from out of state and went to ED for assessment and treatment. Intake nurse was friendly, receptionist was not (probably why all my insurance and home address information was lost post visit). Doctor and nurses once seen were knowledgeable and helpful. Biggest issue is with hospital billing and policy. I was not informed at the time that the do not own the CT machine and so along with being billed for the technician and the CT scan I was billed a separate charge for use of the CT room. Which I was not informed of prior. Of course, this is not something that is covered by insurance and is out of pocket. I received a phone call two months later in January that I had an outstanding balance, but they had my incorrect address and had not billed my insurance. I provided them with my insurance again and made sure my address was updated. For those who go here be aware to know the name of every company that will be billing you separately from the hospital and make sure you have some form of contact information for them because even if you sign the waiver from Henry Mayo, they don’t always send over the insurance information to the third parties (physician, physician assistant, laboratory company, imaging company). Additionally, be aware if you were coming from out of state that California if you are insured, even if you are low income, they do not have any kind of adjustments for balances, nor do they make any adjustments on how much was charged. $2000 for use of ct room is very ridiculous, especially not being informed in advance. If I had been made aware of this, I would have declined that and gone to an independent facility that would not have charged use of a room separate from the procedure, hoping to notify others so they can ask these questions beforehand and possibly get referrals before being treated in this hospital. They also don’t do payment plans but send you to a third-party bank to make payments through this company and provide this company all of your personal data.

Experiencia fantástica: Emergency Room - 1 star ⭐️ The doctor or nurse sent my prescription to Walmart instead of Walgreens and when I called to ask for help the nurse (John,he said) refused to help me. He told me once they send the medication in they can’t change it, which I know to be completely false. When I asked him how long he’d been working there he got very offensive and emotional and told me I was being verbally abusive. I asked him why he thinks that & he hung up on me. After that I tried calling back several times to get through and each time I called he hung up on me. I was just trying to get my meds, & the nurse you hired to help people did everything BUT help, he had zero professionalism & zero empathy. I didn’t end up getting my meds & no one helped me. I called again later and he said his name was JOSH this time. Completely & inconceivably deplorable ER staff. Actually, no, everyone else was kind and helpful, besides the pharmacy mistake, but this JOSH or JOHN in the emergency room department was absolutely horrid & shouldn’t be there. I was there 3/4/22 and called around 9 pm. Hospital Stay - 5 Stars ⭐️ My mother had to spend a week in the hospital and she was treated very well. I am very happy with the hospital staff, they were friendly, hard working, and empathetic people and I’m grateful my mom had such good care. Hospital is clean, bedding is clean, and it feels so much more comfortable than other hospitals. Thank you Dr. Tabassomi for your care, and thank you to ALL the nurses who are the backbone of the medical community, you guys are truly amazing.

Experiencia fantástica: I started in the ER with a temporary loss of vision in one eye. Everyone did their job as if I was the most important person on the planet. After a CT scan the doctor came in to speak with me. I asked a lot of questions. Why? How? How does that work? What does that mean? The doctor kept pushing keys on the computer to find more detailed information. I was admitted and an MRI was ordered. I made jokes with the transport orderly about having races and he joked back that he was drifting. When we got to my floor it was about 30 minutes till shift change. Everyone was attentive and trying to do as much of my intake before shift change. All the doctors, nurses, CNA's, and orderlies I encountered were great. Thank you ER staff and thank you Tower 3 staff.

Experiencia fantástica: I honestly can say I had a wonderful labor and delivery experience with many of the staff on the day that I had to get my induction. Even though my delivery wasn't the greatest, the nurse who provided my care that day, Kasey, was awesome. She sure knew her stuff and was very passionate in what she does. She was on it throughout my delivery, even when it became an emergency c-section. My post-op care was wonderful along with my nurses Lauren, Stephanie, and Emma who gave such remarkable care. I only stayed 3 days, but I was close to wanting to stay an additional day. I also can say the hospital food was delicious! I even enjoyed my celebration meal with my husband.

Experiencia fantástica: I was i the ER on June 5 for asthma reasons. I was taken straight to the back snd the nurses and doctor started working on me immediately. Everyone was very professional and much helpful. They got me in and out. Generally i have major problems with ER and hospital stsys but today was a 10 and kudos to staff and Dr. Edwin C. Peck he was outstanding. My rating for June 5 th is a 10 all the way across. Thank you please share these Kudos with the team.

Experiencia negativa: Unless it’s an actual emergency, it’s better going to an academic hospital than here. A family member was admitted here and the care was mediocre at best. Although there were a few compassionate and caring nurses, that was an exception even in the ICU. The nurses are often annoyed when you press the call light and take their time getting to the room to attend to patient’s needs. At times, we would try to look for the nurse or wait at the desk instead of calling, but would just be ignored. The care is what you would expect at a less skilled medical facility. The doctors would only stop by once a day and things progress very slowly here that the patient starts to decondition before they get the necessary medical intervention or treatment. Even the cardiac surgeon we saw here had a terrible bedside manner, was impatient, and made it visibly clear that he was annoyed by any questions we had. Needless to say, I was very disappointed by the care my family received here and am so relieved that we transferred to a better facility (which came with many hurdles from this hospital).

Experiencia fantástica: I recently had brain surgery at Henry Mayo Hospital and wanted to share my experience, especially after reading so many concerning reviews beforehand. I was understandably nervous, but to my surprise—and relief—the care I received was truly exceptional. From the moment I arrived, the staff was professional, kind, and attentive. I spent the night in the ICU, where Nurse Valsamma George took care of me. I can’t say enough about her warmth and compassion—she treated me as if I were a member of her own family. Her presence made me feel safe and comforted during one of the most vulnerable times in my life. While no hospital experience is easy, the support and professionalism of the team at Henry Mayo made a world of difference. I’m grateful for the care I received and wanted to say thank you to everyone who helped me on my journey to recovery.

Experiencia negativa: Worst ER experience. My boyfriend was in excruciating pain and they would not give a higher dosage of pain medication instead just kept giving different ones. Finally admitted officially ans got a stellar overnight RN AJ who immediately gave the proper dosage of the first pain medication the ER administered. Finally took his pain away, was told surgery was needed ans DR would come speak to us, Dr NEVER came to speak to us about the surgery and what was hapoening jjst took him for surgery. Didn't get a phone call about him being out of surgery until I pushed for an answer. Come to find out he had been our for over 40 mins. Still waiting to speak to a doctor, wont tell us when he will be discharged and next steps. Day shift nurses now ignore you take about an hour to come around and speak to you when a question is asked or you ask for someone. Would NEVER come back here. Still kudos to AJ and ches over night truly only caring staff we came across in this place.

They could have made a bunch of money off of my insurance but they rather play doctor with kids with coughs and people with complaints than be doctor for someone like me with difficulty breathing and messed up shoulder and ribs from aa bad fall. Experiencia negativa: Brought my younger brother to the Henry Mayo Emergency Room since he was having trouble breathing and having a really dry cough. I was speaking with the receptionist while admitting him, she then asks “is he specially needs” in front of my brother. My brother responds no, that he’s just very tired and not in the mood. I thought this was highly unprofessional and out of her scope practice to even ask such a question. There was no respect for the patient being admitted and there was no sense of empathy. Highly unprofessional and unwelcoming.

Experiencia fantástica: I had knee surgery 1 month ago @ OPSC and I had awesome experience from the moment I walked in to the facility. Starting the front desk ( Lourie) , pre op nurses Tracy and Fil, surgery circulator Josh Sheridan , Amy (scrub tech), Dr Ghajar anesthesiologist , Sarah my post op nurse and of course Dr Kayvanfar who was my surgeon and everyone else who helped me for my surgery to go well and painless.

Experiencia negativa: This is so sad I took my daughter she was having chest pain and left arm was hurting and numbness we got there they took more then an hour to do her vitals and EKG they told us to wait Dr will be here we waited like almost 2 hrs finally they took us to have a room we waited for the doctor another hr doctor finally comes laughing asking what are the symptoms I told him my daughter it’s having chest pain left arm pain headache and stomach pain and he said oh kids at this age don’t get heart attacks so he check her and he ask if she gets cramps then doctor said I be back let me go and get something he never explain anything oh what he think it might be we waited like 40 minutes nothing finally the RN comes and she ask for urine sample very rude I ask her excuse me where is the doctor since he said I be back and answer really rude the doctor was here I said yes but he never told us what was his plan he never explained about the EKG results all he said I be back I understand hospital have patients but also my daughter was having those symptoms as a mother I worry for my kids health..

Experiencia negativa: Brought my husband in for chronic back pain. He had a terrible flare up and me thinking Henry Mayo was the best not so close hospital, I took my husband there right after a 12 hour over night shift to seek proper medical care. We ended up with Dr. Schaffer in the ER. Met with us. Comes off nice, polite and concerned. They did do a CT because he said an MRI is hard to come by in the ER. I said my husband gets hiccups with morphine so they gave him a low dose steroid shot toradol and a Valium. He did come out to “reassess” my husband and my husband did state the medication helped. it took his pain from a 10 down to a 8 as long as he didn’t move and he still could hardly stand. It was a mediocre bandaid to a 6’4, 260lb man with a tolerances of pain but wants help when it feels like it’s more than a 10/10 pain scale and you can’t stand up straight. He sent my baby home with another coarse of very low dose steroids, Motrin 600mg for moderate pain 4-6 on a pain scale and flexeril. I really hope that bullshit of BLACK people having a higher threshold of pain tolerance was not a factor in his medical opinion because what he did was basically NOTHING and quite dismissive. Very disappointed in the care that was received.

Experiencia negativa: I left a negative review and it was removed. Our opinion about this hospital still stands as awful. Our family member is a cancer patient, the Doctor told us to take the patient home so she can die there because she was going to die anyway. Stay away from this hospital at all cost. We will be transferring our loved one to another facility. The doctors here are horrible not only are they unethical but lack to communicate treatment plans for patients.

Experiencia fantástica: Simply excellence! My mother had hip replacement in this hospital and they were nothing but excellent in service and help. Bea and the gentleman nurse with her then Brooklyn and the other gentleman nurse too and nurses in the morning in room P201 and B201 were all great, and the brilliant Med doctor that explained everything in its simplest way, and trauma doctors who investigated everything well and surgeon doctor Bitar. My apology i am not good in names i do not remember all. they were extremely helpful all of them. thank you.

Experiencia negativa: There is no sense of respect for the patient, no therapeutic competence, and the doctors are completely absent. They discharged a patient who is unable to walk, and my mother had to get them into the car alone because the hospital said they couldn’t help. I don’t understand how that could be considered professional medical care. This is the Henry Mayo Acute Rehab Facility, yet they couldn’t even help the patient get out of bed, and PT and OT were barely provided for one hour a day. The patient stayed at Northridge Dignity Rehab for two weeks and then spent three days here — do not come to this place. It’s the worst.

Experiencia negativa: Beware of this hospital when you have a “terminally ill” patient. Once the doctors give a final verdict, they will kick your patient out without mercy. To them business is business even when human life is concerned. My brother was given a few days to live. He was joking about a “ happiness pill” with the hospitalist( hospital doctor) who prescribed him 2 mg morphine even if he complained of no pain. He was surprised with this when he was referring to a sleeping pill for a “ happiness pill” he was taking about. So he tried the 2 mg morphine which relaxed him and made his sleep better. On the second night, he did the same thing. On the third night, the wife got scared of morphine addiction so he opted for a sleeping pill at 1am which did not help. At 5am, the wife relented and he was given morphine. At 4 pm of the same day, he woke up groggily and was complaining of chest pain. We found out he was given a whooping 15 mg morphine instead of 2 mg. Considering my brother is a non opiod patient with respiratory problems, there should have been close monitoring after administering the 15 mg morphine. We do not know who prescribed this enormous huge 15 mg ( compared to 2 mg which already knocked him off to sleep). But there was no medical personnel assisting us when my brother was complaining of chest pain when he woke up. A hospitalist came but asked to talk to the wife, without even looking at the distressed patient. So beware. Do not use this hospital at all. Eventually and unfortunately at 2am my brother passed unduly and untimely. We thought he passed due to an overdose of that 15 mg morphine.

Experiencia fantástica: Today, I am leaving Henry Mayo Hospital after undergoing a heart aortic valve replacement. These past two remarkable days will forever remain etched in my memory. As someone over seventy who has stayed in numerous hospitals—not only in California but around the world—I can confidently say that the care, professionalism, and unwavering attention I experienced here are truly worth commending. I had the TAVR (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement) procedure performed by none other than Dr. Abhishek Sinha, one of the finest cardiothoracic surgeons in the San Fernando area. Dr. Sinha is young, experienced, and compassionate—a doctor who immediately instills confidence and trust. He is nothing short of extraordinary, deserving five stars and, frankly, all the stars in the sky. The exceptional care didn’t stop there. The nurses at Henry Mayo Hospital are nothing short of extraordinary. Their dedication and kindness left such a lasting impression on me that I made it a point to remember their names. From Nurse Rosela, the wonderful coordinator, to Adam, who prepared me for surgery, and Franky in the X-ray department—their warmth and expertise stood out. In the recovery room, I was fortunate to be looked after by a team of Florence Nightingale-caliber nurses: Kadin, Alicia, Sofia, Melisa, and Ashley. Each one of them, in their unique way, ensured my comfort and well-being, making me feel cared for and valued. If you want to be treated like a respected human being and have a one-of-a-kind experience, Henry Mayo Hospital is the place to go.

Experiencia fantástica: Our daughter-in-law was on the fifth floor they took good care of her except one nurse that was was rude(Chiffon). Then our daughter-in-law went to the third floor, where she needed closer attention nurses were absolutely amazing best I’ve ever seen especially (Amanda).Went back up to the fifth floor to comfort care ,where she passed away. As far as all the staff and nurses they were absolutely wonderful. The staff knew my daughter-in-law was going to pass. They brought us something to eat, something to drink, kept saying do you need anything hats off to Henry Mayo!!!! You are the best, thank you for taking such good care of our daughter-in- law.Meant so much to us knowing she was in excellent care.❤️

Experiencia negativa: First of all, it pains me to write this review for Henry Mayo. They saved my life twice and I am forever grateful for that (which is why I'll leave two stars). Unfortunately, I was bullied nearly to my grave by some of the Doctors and Nurses there earlier this year. And an extra special shout out to nurses Ember, Rosita, Frank, and George amongst a few others that made my stay so memorable. Countless days and nights defending myself from you so called nurses and forcing me to stay awake night after night, day after day (until I nearly passed away). They brought other patients in my room to harass and bully me several times. They forced me to stay awake for two weeks straight and Frank would try injecting me with something (I still don't know what) every time he thought I was asleep. I lost all my trust in Henry Mayo and although it is the closest Hospital to my house, it will always be my very last choice. I am sad and a little scared that I can not even trust someone from this institution enough to shake their hand any more, let alone administer something into my body. I had so many great ideas for this hospital growing up but that ship sailed earlier this year. Good luck Santa Clarita.

Experiencia negativa: I rushed son was rushed to the hospital early this morning as he could not breathe and was turning blue . The head nurse was so bluntly rude as they were like he is fine as I told her he was paaaimg out in he car. I qas begging for then to take his vital signs and help. She said she will, but not to tell her. She stood and screamed at me and would not treat my son that was gasping for air . She would not go get a doctor . She never apologized, nobody ever came to me and discussed the lack of service they denied. After my son got into a room an ambulance driver came and said this treatment was not acceptable as he overheard it. I WOUD RATHER CHANCE DRIVING TO ANOTHER HOSPITAL! i hope someone from Henry mayo reads this as I want to speak to representative. Experiencia negativa: My elderly father went to the ER mid January. He has trouble communicating so I was in the ER to advocate for him. I informed his nurse of his medical history. (He abuses prescription medication, ie sleeping pills and anti- depressants) The attending doctor refused to do a toxicology screening at first after my dad came in weak, lethargic and dizzy. He was later admitted to one of the floors where he spent a week in the hospital for pneumonia. He was given pain meds, although he had no pain, and sleeping pills. Upon release, he was supposed to have physical therapy. We called several times and talked to several nurses asking this on behalf of the facility where he lives Never happened. Came home slurring his words and lethargic. Constipated and still has a catheter which he was sent home with due to urine retention. Top 2 side effects of the sleeping pill he was prescribed despite his medical history, constipation and urine retention. Doctors and nurses were incredibly irresponsible and negligent Now the family is left to fix a very unfortunate and unnecessary situation.

Experiencia negativa: I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the unacceptable conditions at this hospital. The wait times are simply unconscionable. While I understand the demands placed on healthcare professionals, the current delays in emergency services are beyond anything I have ever experienced. Frankly, I would have sought treatment at Olive View, despite its own challenges, if my condition hadn't prevented it. The gravity of this situation leads me to believe that there is a severe management issue at the root of these problems. It is deeply concerning to imagine the strain this puts on your staff, particularly the nurses. If holding staff accountable is the strategy being employed, I sincerely hope they consider seeking employment elsewhere. This is not a reflection on their efforts, but rather on what appears to be a systemic failure of leadership. Urgent action is required to address these critical issues and ensure patient safety and well-being.

Experiencia negativa: Went in with a blood pressure of 244/145, with chest pain, blurry vision, etc.. They seen me immediately, however, it would be HOURS before they did anything to stabilize me... This is the third time I have been hospitalized here due to this issue, they never, ever find anything. It almost makes more sense to just wait it out instead of going here. I have lost all hope with this hospital. In fact, I avoided them and went to Kaiser but Kaiser said I was too critical and needed to be seen immediately. I walked in with EKG's from Kaiser, they said they "looked okay" (they weren't) and accused Kaiser of getting "bad images". Next, they ran blood, despite the fact I had blood tests in hand. Wasted so much time before they even tried to stabilize me.... Actually, they never did stabilize me, what they did was: ask me what blood pressure meds I'm already on, and then give THAT to me. I explained those weren't working and they did it anyways. They gave me a different pill at the 4 hour mark, that didn't work and then around the 5 hour mark gave me another pill and discharged me. I asked "aren't you going to take my blood pressure to make sure i'm good?" they said "nurse said no, she's fine with it". And sent me home. My blood pressure did NOT go down, I woke up the next day feeling like death and slept almost 24 hours straight. This hospital sucks.

Experiencia negativa: Went in to visit my best friend who had emergency surgery and was absolutely shocked and horrified at the attitudes and general layout of this hospital. There is NO way to reach any upper floor without taking the elevator so anyone terrified of small spaces that move beware. There are stairs but are locked how would this actually work if a fire broke out? Not sure how that passed any kind of inspection or if any higher authority actually knows that they are locked. As a strong intructor in the Autism community, it is my job to make sure others are safe, and I absolutely WILL question anything I determine unsafe from any facility. It's the attitude of the RNs on duty and charge nurse that reacted to my questioning this bizarre practice that talked down to me with unprofessional bad attitudes as if I wasn't human, even coming into the room during my visit to confront me further in front of witnesses so that they could have the last word. Let me be clear reviews exist so that you don't get the last word the public does and you earned this zero star review. Please my fine folks you care about your loved ones, don't take them here. Drive further out for better!

Experiencia negativa: The worst care you can get in a hospital, 1 nurse for a lot of patients. My brother was a patient with terminal metastatic pancreatic cancer, almost dying, and the doctors were talking to us about chemotherapy when there was nothing else to do. It's pure business!!!! I hope they build another hospital in the Santa Clarita Valley soon, because Henry Mayo is the worst!!! WORST ATTENTION EVER!!!!!!!

Experiencia negativa: My mom had the roommate from hell. Upon arrival, signs posted on the door "keep door shut". I was visiting around 3pm and the woman basically told me to shut up as she was trying to nap. She proceeded to blast her TV as she had done since my mother was admitted. I witnessed the rude behavior of this so called roommate disrespecting all staff as well as the EMT drivers who were to take her home. If the doctors and staff see something like this, they shouldn't just roll their eyes. The other patients should be treated with respect. I waited till the woman was taken home by ambulance to be sure my mother would be OK. Respect others

Experiencia fantástica: My husband and I welcomed our first baby last month at Henry Mayo and I truly could not be more thankful for our experience and the incredible staff there. From the moment my family and I walked in, we were greeted with joy and guidance from the security desk & check in area. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the food was really good! My family also enjoyed making frequent trips to the cafeteria which has great food options too. I’m so thankful for all of the amazing nurses who cared for me and my daughter during our stay after my c-section. Each staff member was extremely kind, attentive, & helpful. I will forever be thankful for them. My husband and I were also treated to a celebration dinner and had so many delicious options to choose from. I can’t say enough great things about Henry Mayo and their wonderful staff. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking such good care of us.

Experiencia negativa: Sonia who is a CNA at Henry Mayo Hospital, has the worst attitude and most horrendous demeanor I have ever come across in my life. If you have a job in the field of helping people, why are you going to be rude to the patients that come? My daughter was in the ER today, I had asked Sonia a few questions myself but instead of getting proper communication I was met with head nods of yes or no, and mumbles for answers. I had stepped out of the room and overheard her talking to my daughter demanding that her phone be put away or there were going to be confiscation of the phone, she then gave my daughter the snarkiest remark of keeping her hands outside the blanket. My daughter suffers from low iron & being anemic, you are going to demand she takes her hand from underneath the blanket? I had been waiting for a couple hours which is okay and I do understand being in a hospital takes time, I had asked Sonia when the dr would be coming in for an eta and she just responded “no idea” with a mug on her face. I had asked her if there was any communication between her and the Dr “Nope I don’t know anything.” Sonia is not in a place to be working with individuals in need of care, if you are not happy with your line of work, you are able to reach out to other companies that may be more fulfilling. I am not only disappointed but shocked by the so called “Help” we received today. What a shame from Henry Mayo and a shame on Sonia

Experiencia negativa: I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the care my husband received during his recent emergency visit and overnight stay at your hospital. The main doctor who was responsible for his care failed to adequately address the cause of his pain or provide proper guidance regarding his recovery. While my husband was admitted, the doctor appeared indifferent to his discomfort, leaving us without clarity on his condition or next steps. To our surprise, she left to go home without informing us about his discharge plan or the actions required to manage his pain and recovery. Despite multiple requests to speak with the charge nurse and efforts to page the doctor, the eventual call from the doctor was shockingly unprofessional. She was dismissive, upset, and even raised her voice at my husband for seeking clarification about his condition and discharge plan. To add to our frustration, while the hospital was unwilling to provide pain relief during his stay, the doctor was willing to write a prescription for medication to be filled at a pharmacy after discharge. This lack of immediate care was both troubling and disappointing. I hope you understand how distressing this experience was for both my husband and me. Patients deserve compassionate and thorough care, especially in moments of vulnerability. I urge you to investigate this incident and ensure that no other patients are subjected to similar treatment. I would appreciate a response to this complaint, outlining any actions you will take to address these issues. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Experiencia fantástica: I woke up with nausea and lower abdominal pain. i went to urgent where the doctor told me to go to ER since my appendix may be the problem. When I got to the Henry Mayo Hospital, Emergency Room, i was in pain and vomiting and in check in, i was rushed into to be seen. they got vitals, gave me medicine and i waited. it was busy, no surprise since it is an emergency room but i like how the people were seen based on urgency. after an hour a ct scan showed i had appendicitis and a surgery will be performed tonight. i like how every nurse and doctor took time to respond and explain to me what procedure they had done or what medication they were giving me and what it was for. Doctor Wong, Doctor Nien, Nurse Hailey, and everyone else that’s helped me, thank you so much for making this painful enduring process much more smoothly. by morning came, my pain was gone and i was able to go home. This was due to the organization of the staff and they look after their patients. yes it did take a while but so is in every urgent care and emergency room you go to. The staff made sure that even though they had a lot of patients and it was a busy day, when they were with you, it was just you and the staff. it made me feel like i was cared for and i cannot thank the staff at the emergency room, the surgical staff and the staff that helped me in my room! very nice place to stay and be cared for.

I can't count the times I've been there and how amazing the nurses and doctors are; the only bad thing is the long wait time. They're lovely nurses and doctors who go way beyond. Experiencia negativa: I am shocked and dismayed to share the unacceptable treatment my husband received at Henry Mayo Hospital Emergency Room this past Tuesday. I took him to urgent care after having a fever of over 103 for three days. After examining him, they recommended taking him to the ER. We were in the waiting room for four hours. He was taken back multiple times but never given a bed. They refused to give him an IV, even though based on urine samples he was severely dehydrated. They drew blood and ran tests, but without waiting for results, said they were sending us home. I asked to speak with his doctor, Lawrence Liao and the nurse who saw him because my intuition was telling me otherwise. They were both extremely rude, condescending and impatient. He said it was just a virus and only gave us a prescription for ibuprofen. As we pulled out of the parking lot, they called to say they hadn't properly done his blood work and to bring my exhausted and very ill husband back to be poked and prodded again. They then re admitted him and tried to put him back in the hours long waiting que. After two more days of high fevers, hearing nothing regarding the tests they ran, I brought him to a different urgent care and they determined he had raging pneumonia. The doctor at the urgent care was shocked that Henryo Mayo did not see the pneumonia in his lungs, but my husband expalined to her they only took one image of his chest. She was appalled and said a minimum of two images should be taken so no wonder they missed it. Henryo Mayo was so overcrowded that they treated us like a number and wanted us out. I cannot believe I almost lost my husband due to the extreme negligence and uncaring unprofessional actions of this hospital.

Experiencia negativa: AVOID THIS HOSPITAL AT ALL COSTS! The emergency room doctors here like DOCTOR ROBERT CASEY that outsource their billing to a third-party company called Vituity, and they will relentlessly pursue you for payment, even if you're already in the process of getting the bill settled with your insurance. I’ve been on hold for over 45 minutes—again! This has happened multiple times, adding up to hours of waiting. You’d think that if they were so eager for payment, they’d choose a third-party service that actually answers their phones. I’ve left numerous messages that have gone unanswered and sent emails after tracking down their addresses, yet still no response. This situation is utterly ridiculous, especially for someone like me, a decorated war veteran.

Experiencia negativa: Always check your medical records for errors!!! They had mixed up my medical records with two other patients and wrote in information for other patients up to three months after I was discharged on my record. Even had me incorrectly placed in the Bhu after incorrect information was placed on my file . nurse Patricia Rourke wrote that i was observed jumping in front of two cars on a busy street, which turned out to be part of someone else's medical record. Was there for a heartbeat of 120 ,which they thought was normal. Was dehydrated and nearly died because my potassium levels were low but they did not address that. Also was given a course of antibiotics as Dr rodger wallace told me I had a uti even though I had no fever or pain and felt fine and my lab tests were all OK. Turns out that I had cystitus with hematuria as put on my medical records. I layman's terms I had started my period the next day and was actually given antibiotics for having my period!!!!!. They refuse to acknowledge they made any mistakes or violated in Hippa laws. I'm still thousands of dollars in debt due to legal fees trying to correct this issue. My mental and physical health have greatly suffered. Yeah sucks even more that I live in arizona and was told at the hospital to use a relatives address in ca to get medi cal to pay for the stay. I should add that this is not the first time my medical records have been compromised. In 2015, while being seen for a skin infection I was asked about my diabetes by Dr. Casey. Told him I never had diabetes. He said there were several diabetes medications listed in chart but he would have them removed.

Experiencia fantástica: My auntie is at Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital; she started in ER, went to ICU, now in Med Surg Tele. Every single person I have interacted with in this facility has been amazing, from docs and nurses to environmental services and cafeteria staff. Yesterday, I saw more doctors than nurses — unheard of! The ICU doc rounded on her and she’s no longer in the ICU! Each person has taken the time (!!) to interact with me, answering all my questions, down to specifics. What a blessing for a family member to be truly valued. The ICU doc commented on our family’s communication process and how it saves all of them time by not having to take a multitude of telephone calls. If I lived still in SoCAL, it would be worth the cost of living to be near Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital. Keep up the great work, everyone!!

Experiencia fantástica: I was just discharged from Henry Mayo hospital and my experience was great! From the triage area, to the ER doctors and nurses and to everyone involved in my care during my stay. I had gone to Olive View hospital for extreme pain in my abdominal area and they didn't "find anything." I decided to come to Henry Mayo for a second opinion and, sure enough, they were able to provide me a diagnosis. They performed a small procedure to further look into my issue and they were spectacular in everything they did. I would like to thank the nurses from Tower 4 Kim, Irma T., Kyle, and Jenna for their great care while I was there. I couldn't have asked for better nurses, doctors, and PCAs. Thank you for making me feel a lot better and for actually performing tests that helped look into my issue.

Experiencia negativa: Please don’t go to this hospital. This incident occurred on 5/6/23. My husband had a fever of 104 and was hallucinating. We called the ambulance, the ambulance took my husband to the ER and thn they bring him out to the waiting room and tell us 7-8 hours wait. I ended up driving my husband to KP panorama city and was seen within an 1 1/2. Turned out he had a 6cm liver abscess and was septic. If we had waited at Henry mayo I couldn’t had potentially lost my husband. No way they could have gotten an interventional radiologist that same night. UPDATE: I’ve tried several times to call the patient experience line and left voicemails and no one ever picks up or calls me back. The worst experience even with their patient experience line. This hospital needs changes from top to bottom.

Experiencia fantástica: I was just discharged from Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital and wanted to share my impressions while they're still fresh in my memory. I was admitted yesterday through the Emergency Room after visiting for neurological issues. They triaged me as a possible stroke patient, immediately assigned me a bed in Emergency, then ran a battery of tests to further assess my condition. An ER doctor then visited to share the results, saying that I was not likely in immediate peril but that he was still recommending me for admission to the hospital to further diagnose my problem. From that point on I waited hours for a decision on admission and for a bed to open. Nurses also visited less frequently, as did the doctor. And for good reason! They all moved on to care for more critically ill patients coming into the ER. The point is that the Mayo Emergency staff did exactly what they should by triaging patients for the most serious problems and allocating their scarce resources accordingly. And anyone who complains about having to wait under similar circumstances doesn't fully appreciate how ERs operate. My ensuing stay in the hospital was equally well thought out, including the battery of additional tests, patient restrictions and treatment. The private suite was spotless and beautiful, and even the food was good! Test results were posted immediately in a patient's online portal. And when they finished, the hospital doctor assigned to me came by to interpret the test findings, prescribe follow-up treatment, and discharge me asap to clear another bed. The whole experience, while not enjoyable by any means, was so intelligently and competently handled by the entire staff--both medical and support--that I felt compelled to post. Next week, my family and I are relocating from Santa Clarita to Northern California. This was the only time I had ever treated at Henry Mayo. I can only hope that if I or my family have the misfortune of needing help at a hospital up north that I can find one nearly as good as Henry Mayo.

Experiencia negativa: Jesus, Please rescue this hospital. I had a baby there in 1996-levi It was a wonderful experience. Starbucks for all. Grandma brought home made pork chop dinner. I went there myself, female age 66, Wed due to swollen feet and ankles for,6 days They immediately tagged me a fall risk. Understood. My physical therapist came the next day Nicole. I urgently needed to use the bathroom.she held onto the transport belt so I was unable to get there in time. She saiad sshe would rather i soil my self theñ fall. It was humiliating . Nicole then said I needed to go to rehab physical therapy. to not walking good, I found out that it was a nursing home . the whole time I was there. They wouldn't let me bathe or wash my hair. It was worse than prison.

Experiencia negativa: Hands down the worst hospital in California was there for a total of 36 hrs and charged me $71,000.00 told me I had bleeding on the insides and need to stay they just did this for the money. They did paper work for emergency medical. Then they sent a bill for $71,000.00 turn out I didn’t have as bleeding on the inside. They lied just to give me a bill that could take the rest of my life to pay. Don’t go here unless you have to. They a re liers and they just messing people over for money.

Experiencia negativa: Ridiculous ER. I dont understand why they have rules and not follow them. I was surrounded by people coughing and sneezing while i see 3 really big signs saying "if you have respiratory symptoms, you must wear a mask at all time". It is not my job to tell people to wear a mask when they are sick so i left it to the staff. Nobody got up to say anything for the 2 hrs i was in the lobby so idk if they had any staff... 3 ladies inside were very kind i will say that but the nail in the coffin was when it was time to leave and i got told they would provide me with 2 weeks off work. I said i didnt want 2 weeks because i cant afford 2 weeks off and we agreed 1 week would be enough. That somehow translated into no time off as my discharge papers said i could work tomorrow when i had specified that its been very difficult to work with my injury (thats why the time off conversation came about). I returned to find out if it was miscommunication but i got greeted with the "well it says you can go back to work tomorrow". Yes im aware of that but i got told i would get a week off. "Sir, first of all the ER cannot give more than 3 days off work so that info is not correct there is no way someone told you that". At that point i basically had enough, grabbed my thing, and left. Communication is 0 back there as i spotted more people on their phone and gossiping rather than working execept for few people holding it down (you know who you are). I was hopeful to have good service since this hospital saved my life back in 2013 when i had a bad crash. I guess things have really changed for the worse...

Experiencia fantástica: The E.R team tonight had wonderful bedside manners and Dr. Elizabeth M Crow was kind, empathetic and listened to her patient well. Thank you ER team for giving extra warm blankets to my Gran. Also shout out to the admin team for their beside manner as well when it came to signatures and having a ready smile. Everyone I came into contact with was engaged and willing to talk to their patients which made the 6.5 hours of being there pleasant as one can be while at a hospital. Go Team Bluey :) July 17, 2024

Experiencia negativa: You will never. See a doctor you will only talk to an ipad from a lazy millionaire in his beverly hills mansion. You will get no treatment.You will only get a multi thousand dollar bill. Even if you have cancer , they will say it was caused by you smoking weed. If you have the flu it's because you vape nicotine. Those seem to be the only diagnosis they give anybody. Now that they can't say everyone is dying of covid 19, But I guarantee you when you leave the hospital.You will catch some sickness walking through the lobby

Experiencia negativa: The care at the hospital was fantastic. The nurses really took care of me while I delivered my stillborn baby. However, I had continual issues with administration. It had been well over a month since my baby died and it took 8 weeks for a cremation due to negligence from the hospital, failing to create a death certificate and send the information over to the correct people to get this done. Even after many phone calls from myself and the crematory. Extremely absurd and unprofessional. They treated this situation as if my baby didn't matter.

Experiencia fantástica: I moved from Orange County to Santa Clarita about a month ago. I changed my medical group here to S.Clarita as well. But before I can get my insurance cards I had a Multiple Sclerosis relapse. I needed to go to the E.R. so I came Henry Mayo. My daughter lived here for 8 years and never been to this hospital before. So I came and it was a Monday morning and they had such a good process I was called within 40 mins and it just a pretty smooth process. I was told I would be admitted and I was in my room from beginning to my room was about 3 1/2 hours. It was good time. To be honest I've been to many hospitals, but all the nurses ,housekeeping to doctors were so kind, professional, and such good listeners. Its so important to feel 'heard' from medical professionals. But I'm just here to give my review from my experience. I would come here again and I would definitley refer my family and friends as well

Experiencia negativa: Horrible hospital. My mom gets admitted from the er at night and the nurse tells me that I can’t go up to the floor and stay the night with my mom. Never been at a hospital that doesn’t let a carrying relative stay with their patients. My mom is a suffering cancer patient and I don’t want to leave her alone. I even talked to the house supervisor and she tells me no cuz that’s their policy. This is really unacceptable. Shame on them! This hospital is totally mismanaged. Signed my mom out ama to go to another hospital that actually cares about their patients and family members. Patient Relations Dept - please don’t bother posting a comment to call you like you have done with other negative reviews. Instead, talk some sense into your CEO to change your policy and train your staff to be more sensitive to your patients and family members needs. Please remind your CEO that you are in business to provide COMPASSIONATE care to patients and their family members!

Experiencia negativa: They will keep you waiting if you required a refund from your medical bill!!!! I had two procedures performed at Henry Mayo. 1. Surgery in January 2024 for which Henry Mayo owe me a refund and 2. Gave birth in February 2024 for which I owe an outstanding bill. It is now July and for some reason Henry Mayo were able to finalize the bill of which I owe them money but keep giving me an excuse that "the January bill is not finalized" I refuse to pay the outstanding amount until i receive the refund for the January procedure. My medical insurance have tried to help but I have no idea what the hospital is doing. Very frustrated!

Better off going to the ER at kaiser in Panorama. It's true the right hand doesn't know what the he'll the left hand is doing at this place

Experiencia negativa: If your life doesn't depend on it, drive a few more minutes on the freeway and go to Holy Cross! I was seen at Henry Mayo on 4/10/24, by Dr. Harleen Grewal. I came in for a seizure which I have a known history of, I hit my head and had a brief loss of consciousness. But yet they put down acute chest pain which I never stated I had or any other cardiac problems/symptoms so this warrants an unnecessary EKG! If i did have chest pain, then why didn't they draw troponin levels in my blood tests? I filed a grievance which they tell you to do, along with my insurances. Also, Dr. Grewal states in her report exams of my lungs, heart and abdomen are normal which she never examined! Never once took her stethoscope off to listen to my lungs or heart. But I get a letter from Dr. Casey stating his review of my treatment was fair! Someone who just had a seizure, hit their head and was made to walk to the back and to the waiting room MULTIPLE times! No IV placed. So now I am seeing improper documentation on my chart and they wont do anything about it. And Henry Mayo when you read this, don't bother responding with your robo response on how sorry you are to read this and to please call your patient experience department. Been there already and the woman who called me couldn't be bothered to tell me her name on my voice mail. Henry Mayo is a disaster and highly incompetent!

Experiencia negativa: The ER at Henry Mayo is a disgrace. We took our mom to the ER for severe stomach pain and after waiting 4 hours, she was discharged with just some pain meds and antibiotics for gastroenteritis (which we later found out it wasn’t). Fast forward to another week and my mom had another severe pain episode and we were in LA at that time and we took her to Cedars. Well guess what, their diagnosis was cancer! Henry Mayo completely missed it, missed the tumor and discharged her with just a gastroenteritis diagnosis. Fast forward again to weeks later after her hospitalization at Cedars. My mom is home in Santa Clarita when she gets another painful episode. Again we were forced to go to Mayo just because of their proximity. This time, Mayo keeps pointing to her recent surgery as the cause of the pain, and refused to treat her and told us we should go back to Cedars and have the surgeon “re-check his work”. Well guess what again! The Mayo ER doctors completely misdiagnosed her again! She had an infection, not at all related to the surgery! And after multiples times of us telling them to please check for infection (I am an RN too and suspected it was an infection), that was actually the LAST thing they did. They did so many other tests unrelated to the complaint and still did not get it right! Stay away from the ER, doctors here are just guessing! Dr. Mkrtchyan was especially arrogant and obnoxious but didn’t know what he was doing.

I understand priority patients, I understand limited room, I understand the hardships of helping so many people, but why are you isolating patients with severe memory issues from their assistant and interpreter? Why is that a good idea? Being forced to rely on a patient with severe memory issues to explain what happened or the diagnosis is a joke. Having her admit that she was scared and confused the entire time is heartbreaking. The ER has gotten worse over the years. What a joke.

Experiencia negativa: Avoid at all cost. My friend was just discharged after 11 days. He was admitted with a renal infections and diabetic difficulties. On the last day the charge nurse in post surgical 2 decided that they need a sign on his door saying that everyone must have a gown, mask and gloves to enter his room. Day #11! This entire facility is worthless specially the staff of Doctors, Nurses and Aids. When I ask them about this the response is “It’s hospital policy “. So what about the other 10 days when he was more infectious? I got no answer. By and large, the nurses are rude and power hungry. I’m a retired surgeon and if I had to deal with this bunch they wouldn’t be employed. The Right hand doesn’t know what the Left hand is doing and they are suppose to be taking care of our loved ones Think about that!

Experiencia fantástica: Henry mayo is a great hospital!! It can definitely get pretty busy in the ER. That being said the doctors are amazing and attentive. As well as the nurses and staff. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this hospital. The only issue that needs improvement is the seating in the waiting room. Its definitely crowded.

I was rushed to the emergency room, but instead of receiving prompt and efficient care, I was left waiting for eight long hours before any significant tests were conducted. As a patient in distress, I expected to receive immediate attention and care, but instead, I was left feeling neglected and ignored. The lack of empathy and efficiency in this hospital has left me with a profound sense of disappointment and frustration. Experiencia negativa: My father went in with chest pains, after a blood drawl they left my dad , in the waiting room with an IV in his arm, he asked repeatedly to have the IV taken out of his arm they refused. My dad then left, on his way home he got a call from the hospital from some lady in the lobby stating she is calling the police to my fathers home to make sure he doesn’t have the IV in his arm still and be arrested or he needed to come in for them to verify. The doctor (Perez, has lots of tattoos) who seen my father had been disrespectful and left my dad with chest pains in lobby for 3 1/2 hours. Want mediocrity? Go here.

Experiencia fantástica: Had to visit the ER last night because my son cracked his chin open. Every single staff member was so nice to us. Front desk, nurses, dr. My son is almost 4 and they were so welcoming and kind. He normally has a very hard time and hates the dr (thanks kaiser) but he gave all his vitals and did all his tests because they were so patient and good with him. They gave him a teddy bear to wait with and another stuffed animal before he got his glue and bandaids for his chin. My son said the doctors were so nice and he wasn’t afraid at all! So thankful for the staff.

Experiencia negativa: I was admitted in the hospital on July 16th 2023 for my induction. I didn’t like how my birth was conducted. First when I was pushing the baby I was pain and the nurses all the time shushing me . Asking me to be quiet all the time . During the birth was performed a episiotomy without my knowledge I was only told that this procedure was performed after the birth ended I wish I was told that I was going to be cut .Them the nurses left me naked and all open for more than a hour. I told them I had to use the restroom they said too pee on my self in the bed that they would clean later. I waited an hour on my blood and in my pee for to be transferred to recovery room . I didn’t think I was treated right after went through a birth. I wanted to use the facilities and be clean and rest. The experience on the recovery room wasn’t good . The nurses most of the time was denying meds for pain and my doctor said whatever I felt pain I could ask for the pain medication that she prescribed and she left refills. The doctor did a Fourth-degree tears on my episiotomy. The nurses was always saying that I was lying and and lessening my pain . Saying that patients of C section they tolerated more than me that was a vaginal birth. I felt neglected in that moment because every body is different and I went to a different procedure. I had to cry and tell them that I wasn’t tolerating the pain and I need the medication for pain. I asked several times for the lactation help and I was being told that they were to busy to come to the room . They came one time and wasn’t patient enough to help me. Also the cleaning of the room wasn’t good I spent almost 3 days in the hospital and I was telling the staff if someone could come by and clean the restroom because had a lot of blood and nobody never came clean the restroom. They only come once to remove the trash for the restroom. I would like to those things to be improved I am having a second baby and I am really thinking if I am going to go to Henry Mayo again or other hospital out of Santa Clarita.

Experiencia negativa: I have been to a few hospitals and emergency rooms so I can really differentiate between care . This hospital is a joke I came in at 3pm and left at 1:20 am I was suffering from a kidney infection and had a fever due to the injection it took them 4 hours to get my blood test results, even the staff felt bad that I was there for so long . No hospital beds or triage care you just sit on these stupid chairs and wait for someone to come to you. Does not really align with quality care . Also I have been to Glendale Adventist and they are a world apart from this horrible sham of a hospital. They have serious issues and even though I live in SCV I will never set foot in this hospital. I am so glad I went with my intuition and did not deliver my baby , went to providence in Burbank . Please do yourself a favor and avoid this hospital at all costs.

Experiencia negativa: I’ve served in the military. Been to third world countries this hospital is the absolute worst I’ve EVER seen! My sister and I arrived at 12 midnight. It was 4 hours before she was seen. Once they called her in the back. Family isn’t allowed with them. She text me at 5:58am saying they were giving her an IV, meds, and running test. At 6am she said she was waiting on results. It’s not 8:25. I’m still here, my sister isn’t responding to text. 8 1/2 from the time we arrived

Experiencia negativa: Im very annoyed with this place. Went to the emergency room because my baby need stitches, waited four hours and I ended up leaving because the wait would have been another two. I’m praying my baby doesn’t get an infection but she needed to be seen right away. We went to another urgent care. This hospital needs to hire more staff the workers there are very nice but it’s so annoying how long the wait is

We welcomed our baby girl Kaiya into the world with the help of the most caring, knowledgeable, compassionate, and professional staff. We want to thank each and every nurse who took care of us: Heather, Andy, Teresa, MaryLou, Maddy, MJ, Vanessa, Sharon, Mariah, and Lourdes. You all made us feel comfortable, safe, and supported throughout the whole process. You are truly the best at what you do and I cannot find the words to express how grateful we are to each of you. Now specifically my case, my “partial payment” has me locked to pay a specific amount every time. No wonder you people were protested on!!

Experiencia positiva: First of all, I would like to thank the 5Tower nurses, PCAs, doctors and nurses from ER, and my mom's team of doctors for taking care of her. I was updated by the doctor over the phone when I was not there. Since I've been an ICU nurse for over 25 years, it was an easy conversation with the doctors and nurses. The care from most staff nurses and pca were excellent except one shift in 6 days. Maybe they were short staffed that day. The ER nurse and doctors were excellent. The room where she was admitted in 5Tower was excellent, very spacious, clean, and had a nice view of the mountain. The bed, devices, and equipment used were new. The bathroom was spotless. You might be wondering why 4 stars only. Aside from the one shift that was a little frustrating, according to mom's caregiver, there was one lady from dietary who took meal preference who was a little rude and was just in a hurry. That's the lady who took my mom's meal preferences when I was there. Hospital food for patients was terrible. Another thing, the PT barely showed up and walked my mom only in the room, going one round from bed to the chair, which was about 10 feet. Even Dr. Canders was surprised when I told her. Some days, PT did not show up at all. By the way, the cafeteria was great with great options for visitors and staff. The hospital has great parking spaces. To everyone who took excellent care of my mom in 5Tower from August 16 to 21, Thank you. I brag about you and your hospital at my work.

Experiencia negativa: Waiting 5 hrs in the ER waiting room is unacceptable! My husband had suspected kidney failure and we sat waiting! No IV setup, no beds available and no updates on the tests- just sat and waited. I consider this inadequate, unprofessional and disappointing health care. I guess we should have driven to Holy Cross Hospital. Think twice before you go to Henry Mayo’s ER- because it will be a very LONG wait!

Experiencia negativa: Checked my mom into Henry Mayo this morning, we were 15 minutes early to a 5:30am surgical check-in. All signage states doors open at 5am. The doors were not open and the visible lobby area was not lit. A security guard finally hand signaled us to go around to a different entrance from his desk. Got inside, security guard not friendly. Had to ask him where to go, again not in a warm manner directed us down the hallway to admittance desks. Three desks, two closed with lights off, one open with no one attending it. A few minutes pass by, a lady walks up, she goes "do you have a procedure scheduled today?", not in a particularly nice way either. No goodmorning, no nothing. My mom is elderly and is having a major surgery. She was instructed by different admitting staff to bring in certain papers the day prior by phone, and to bring ID and insurance information. The employee did not consult the ID, nor insurance card, and when asked in reference to the other documentation said that the nurses upstairs would have more information. At this point it's 5:45am, still not completely lit, were escorted up stairs by the same staff member who is now significantly different in demeanor. We ask the nurse in reference to the forms the admittance staff was unable to assist with, the nurse did not have any information and was unable to inform of of protocol. The document was in reference emergency/life or death situations in lieu of an Advanced Directive. The only information she was able to provide was that the documents are normally handled by a social worker, and that at this hour she was not aware if any were available. Overall, I am not comfortable with the conflicting information given to prepare for this surgery, nor the lack of knowledge/compassion experienced with all employees encountered so far. Experiencia fantástica: I haven't used a Hospital for 40+ years and had to go for extreme pain in my kidney and stomach areas. I showed up at the ER 2AM. I was seen right away and diagnosed with a kidney stone. They treated the pain, did a CAT Scan and I went home within 2 HRs. They were friendly, professional and very attentive. Great job.

Experiencia fantástica: My child was admitted here after a fall. He had surgery and spent two nights as a patient. We received top notch care and professional, kind, care from every staff member who we came in contact with. Even the security staff were polite. My child's room was clean (thank you Midge) and his nursing care was wonderful. I hope you never have to stay here but if you do you will be well cared for.

Experiencia fantástica: If i could I would give them 10 stars. Henry Mayo saved my husbands life. He would without a doubt be dead now if it weren't for the amazing doctors and nurses in ICU. My hubby had a MASSIVE right side stroke, swine flu, double pneumonia,most would not have survived. But my hubby is still here and not just here, he is thriving. The only thing that needed some help was the discharge department. They dont care where you go for after care as long as you go. HMNMH has had a bad reputation over the years, but they have without a doubt turned things around. I will sing their praises til they no longer give me reason to or I die, whichever comes first.

Experiencia fantástica: The ICU staff did an amazing job. They took excellent care of my husband after his brain surgery. They were also kind and attentive to me during this difficult time.
