Experiencia fantástica: I have had BPPV ( crystals floating in the semicircular ear canal) twice and have had the pleasure of being treated by Dr Jordan Brown ,PT. He is professional yet very cordial and puts you at ease. Being a retired RN , I especially appreciated his Anatomy and Physiology explanations in my case making me understand the why and the need for certain home exercises .I was made to feel that it was important to Jordan that I improved by his demeanor and his consistent level of quality of care. I have been to three other places for PT for other reasons and can honestly say Fyzical Therapy and Balance Center is definitely a step above all the rest.

Experiencia fantástica: I had little or no balance years ago. Had to use a cane or walker. One PT somewhere else told me I would always have to. Threw me under the bus right away. I went to Fyzical Therapy and Balance Center for about a year. Three times/week, then two. I finally "graduated" and don't need any help walking anymore. And I got a referral from my physician so Medicare and insurance paid for most of it. It's not cheap but very effective. Highly recommended.

Experiencia fantástica: I just finished my last therapy for the year and I was really amazed about all the things that they did could actually have any results in helping me keep my balance. And how they patiently dealt with my sense of humor along the way. They were serious with their job to help others with their situation. Some of the techniques that I did there I was able to do at home also on the days that I did not go to therapy and I found myself doing it on a regular basis. I really did enjoyed getting out and going there and I enjoyed being around Jordan and Sydney they are too awesome people to be around. I can't imagine my life being any better than having two wonderful people that works so hard on trying to figure out my weaknesses and helping me set goals to get where I am now today. If I could continue to go I would and I know in the future if I need to go back I know where I'm going. I know you might not think it'll work for you but it did for me. And it was really awesome too be waiting in the waiting room and be able to talk to the others. Everything just sound like a family place to me. I felt welcome I felt important. The staff is most friendly and 100% attentive to every balance issue . I’ve had noticeable improvement in my balance in a short time. My insurance covers it 100%.

Experiencia fantástica: This is an amazingly-effective program to cure dizziness! Jordan Brown a is courteous, clear, and caring therapist. The technology they use is advanced and effective. I could barely move my head side to side without getting sick at first (let alone teach my dance class!), but after a month, feel like my system has been reset. There is no neck massage like Sydney’s! Jordan and Sydney really care. They got my head on straight, and I’m back to normal life (and dancing)!! Praise Jesus!!

They took care of me with one visit. I stayed around to work on improving my balance with subsequent visits as I was returning to tennis after a back fusion. Very professional therapists and office staff, clean facility and very convenient location.

From my evaluation visit until my goals were achieved my complete physical recovery was of upmost importance to all the staff, the receptionist always greeted me by name and with a smile, she was both professional and efficient in all our dealings. Jordan and Sydney were always professional, careful to explain my exercises as well as how the exercise contributed to correcting my issues. I saw Sydney on most of my visits and found her to be exceptional in her determination to help me recover. If the need arises I would seek their services again and highly recommend Southside FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Center to others.

But, from the first time we open those doors until the last Jordan and his team have been absolutely amazing with my mother. Unfortunately she is no longer able to understand the different commands that they need her to do for her therapy. I've been in the health care industry in Savannah for over 20 years I am very thankful to our family physician for sending usto Fyzical. Thank you all so much for your kindness Sydney you were amazing with my mom as well everyone there is just the best I highly recommend if you have a loved one or yourself or is in need for physical therapy this is where you need to go!!

I have a long story which I am going to tell, but the short of it is... if you suffer from a TMJ disorder, call Fyzical, ask for Beth, and tell her I sent you! ... Ok, so here's my story, which is a completely unnecessary series of events that caused a ridiculous amount of pain and stress in my life and I hope no one else shares an experience similar to mine.... I'm a fan of chiropractic care. I moved to Savannah and found a new chiro (who will remain unnamed) who seemed fine and was helping my back. One day while I was on the table, he said "Your jaw looks crooked. Can I adjust it?" I had never had my jaw adjusted before nor had I ever considered that as a concern I'd bring to a chiropractor, but in the moment I decided that he seemed like the trustworthy type who knew what he was doing so I agreed. A couple of days later I woke up with what felt like fullness in my left ear and a little hearing loss. Maybe an ear infection? Seemed odd. In only a few hours it progressed to a massive migraine, pressure across the side of my head, and a pulsing vibration in my ear. Decongestants, Excedrin Migraine, Ibuprofen, heat packs, ice packs... NOTHING helped and it only got worse with time. I tried to wait it out a few days, but it got so bad I couldn't work. So I went to an Urgent Care Center. She did all the normal checks and concluded that the only thing abnormal was how high my blood pressure was (b/c I was in so much pain...) She then asked if I had TMJ... yea but so what, it's my ear that hurts... I googled it and TMJ could cause EVERY ONE of my symptoms... WOAH... I've had TMJ issues since I was 12 and used to get lock-jaw every day of middle and high school, but it had pretty much settled into just an annoying pop and the occasional soreness from eating crunchy things or talking too much ;) ... So I decided to go back to the chiro and told him about the pain (while fighting through tears). He asked what I thought caused it, to which I replied "YOU" ... He adjusted it again in the same way and I got no relief. I thought, since chiro got me into this mess chiro should be able to get me out of it. I reached out to a handful of chiropractors around Savannah explaining my story and decided to visit Dr. Jonathan Jewett at Dynamic Spine and Rehab. The first time he adjusted my jaw he moved it the OPPOSITE DIRECTION from the first chiro... after only a couple visits I was getting relief from the pain and after a couple months seeing him and an amazing massage therapist, Jacquelyn Rody, there was little to no pain. THANK YOU! The problem was that the pulsing, buzzing vibration in my ear wasn't going away. It sounded like I had a carpenter bee in my ear... or I was sitting in a moving car with one window barely cracked... it wasn't just annoying, it was so loud that I couldn't hear people in normal conversation and being in public was often so loud I couldn't stand it. I started to develop anxiety and avoid social situations (which is not like me... you can ask my husband). Dr. Jewett suggested I see an ENT which is why I tried Coastal ENT and saw Dr. Ian McLoad. He was very honest and said there really wasn't much he could do for tinnitus, and after normal results from my hearing test he referred me to Fyzical Therapy. At this point I was in tears... am I going to have to deal with this buzzing for the rest of my life? Maybe... So that's how I got to meet Beth, my physical therapist :) She told me that tinnitus wasn't something she could treat directly, but she felt confident that she could help me improve, if not completely get rid of my TMJ symptoms which would hopefully help the tinnitus. I could get rid of my TMJ popping? I had never heard of such a thing and was doubtful. WOW! I followed the exercises to a T and within a month my range of motion has increased dramatically, my popping has been minimized and the tinnitus is GONE!! I owe you my sanity, Beth!
