With her knowledge and exercises she has helped me improve my pelvic strength and have no more leaking. She does a great job educating and is always professional. Experiencia fantástica: I was so worried about going and doing pelvic floor therapy. But from my very first conversation with Jane their receptionist to my last appointment, the staff is top tier. My therapist Claire made me so comfortable with every step I had to take to be ready for bringing my baby into this world. She listened to my concerns and at every visit had something new to share with me about my condition. She was patient with me. She looked at my pain and would never push me passed a limit I didn’t need to be pushed pass. I would recommend Core therapy and this group of woman 100 times out of 100 times! Thank you for months of great service and getting me ready to have my baby!

Experiencia fantástica: If I could give 10 stars, I would. I went to Bella Axelsson for an overactive pelvic floor. I didn't even know pelvic floor therapy was a thing before my doctor referred me. As you can imagine, you get up close and personal with your therapist. And Bella was amazing. She was incredibly kind, practiced and professional, and made me feel super comfortable about it all. I went to her for several months, and began feeling better almost immediately. She was helpful beyond words at solving my issues. And she ended up being a friend after it all. Love this therapist, love this clinic.

Experiencia fantástica: Alex is fantastic! I went for prenatal PT to prep for labor and I’m leaving armed with knowledge and exercises and stretches to help prep for labor and during labor. Actually learning about pushing mechanics was so helpful.

Experiencia fantástica: Best place to go. This is my first time doing pelvic floor therapy and Bella is AMAZING! She makes you feel comfortable and explains everything professionally in a way you can understand. This is a plus for first-time patients who don't know what to expect from this type of therapy.

Experiencia fantástica: I thought I had to have bladder surgery because I had to urinate every 30 minutes. I went to the doctor and got a prescription but a week before that, I went to a chiropractor who adjusted my pubic symphysis and made me about 50% better. I still took the prescription and got a few more adjustments while I started to go to Core Therapy. Alex is my doctor for pelvic floor therapy. Within a few short months, I was able to go off the prescription medicine and I no longer needed chiropractic care on the pubic symphysis because of the work Alex did on me and the exercises she gave me as homework. I am now on a maintenance plan with her by my request because the urgency came back once but she did her magic and just like that, it was gone. Alex is the best western medical heath provider I've ever have the privilege to be the patient of. She gave me my quality of life back. She is truly AMAZING! She listens to every single word I say. She is above and beyond gentle and kind, while explaining every move she makes with full respect and extreme knowledge.

Claire helped me with many different exercises and if there was one that I struggled with she would find a different exercise to do instead. Claire was very friendly with me and my family my little one loved coming with me and doing the exercises with me. I would recommend Core therapy everytime!

Jane the front desk receptionist was always amazing at scheduling me to get seen, and always friendly and welcoming when I came in. The office is always clean and has a nice environment. I saw Claire, she is an amazing and very knowledgeable physical therapist. I first started seeing Claire for pelvic floor physical therapy, which she helped me work through fairly quickly. Then I came back to see her for upper body flare-ups I have been dealing with. I truly enjoyed these sessions where I learned so much- like learning proper posture, and form. Understanding my body better while I navigate through my pain finding different stretches, exercises, and techniques that work for me. Thanks again, Claire! Experiencia fantástica: Core therapy has truly altered the way I think about my body. After a terrible and traumatic (physically and mentally) delivery of my first baby, I needed pelvic floo therapy. Claire (Dr. Doroff) was amazing at explaining everything she was doing and why it was important. She also made sure that she was 100% clear and understanding on all of the things I was explaining to her. All of the exercises were demonstrated and she ensured I was doing them correctly while also teaching me how to activate the specific muscles that needed work. They do have a cancellation/ no show policy which is very commonplace and they made me aware of it when they called me to set up my first appointment. I learned so much about the pelvic floor and its importance as well as the necessity of having pre and post natal therapy. I finally feel like I’m getting my old, strong self back thanks to Claire. HIGHLY recommend

Experiencia positiva: Contending with a few chronic issues for decades I have gone to many doctors, therapists etc. in many locations/states from NYC to Hawaii. I would say this office is unusual and if you should chose it you should go in with your eyes wide open. If you have a chronic condition that needs consistent care weekly, bi-weekly etc.(as you would get in regular bigger physical therapy practices), you cannot count on them to provide that level of care as their scheduling is erratic and more akin to making an appointment with a hairstylist. Its unpredictable when you will be able to get an appointment and how many times a week or month. This is concerning for physical therapy which needs to be frequent and consistant for stable and certain progress. I had a referral from my physician and the office called me at least five times to schedule me, before I was ready and able to do so. When they reached me they tried to convince me of the effectiveness of their services, this had never had happened to me prior with a medical office, except for once in California when I was scammed by a sleep study company. They also will call you with many reminders for insurance info, fill out their paperwork, appointments etc.. The office also will repeatedly warn you that they charge for any late arrival or missed appointments. They are reading you the Riot Act up front and tell you the amount they will charge etc.. So I missed an appointment because of confusion on my part and called them to admit to my mistake (as can happen very rarely with all the craziness of my kids appointments, commitments etc). I mentioned I knew they would have to charge me because of their strict policy, and sure enough before the hour was up, the full amount for the visit was charged to my card. This is an unusual and aggressive business practice for a medical office in my experience, especially in Savannah, and also the first time its ever happened to me. So they will absolutely not hesitate to charge you for being late or missing an appointment! After my remainning appointments I will continue with this review regarding their quality of care and the rest of my experience.

Experiencia negativa: Front desk was very rude and did not listen to me about my insurance and even look at what I was trying to explain to her. Very short and snappy at me. The person's doing procedure was nice but the front desk receptionist was very argumentative and I am disabled and just was just trying to show her something about my Medicare insurance and co pay but she did not want to hear it and ignored it. I felt very unwelcome and uncomfortable in the lobby with her and her anger. I am very uncomfortable to come back to make further appointments because of the way the receptionist treated me and acts I treated her with respect but I didn't get any back. I don't know why she felt the need to treat someone with a disability this way all I was trying to show her is how my insurance worked. This happened on 8-4-2022 at 9:43am

Experiencia fantástica: I have had terrible pelvic pain for as long as I can remember. Elise has been the first physical therapist to actually make a difference in my life. This office is very professional and I cannot recommend Elise enough. She is an all around great DPT and a great person.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been going to Core Therapy since 2007. I just love them. I won't go anywhere else as long as they are open for business. I refer every one I know to them. Cathy and the staff are the best I have ever had, and I have been doing PT since I was a senior in high school. They are super friendly and very professional. Cathy is always taking classes to increase her skills and knowledge of current practices. I would highly recommend them for any type of therapy not just pelvic therapy.

I suffered from pelvic pain for many years before my urologist suggested pelvic floor therapy and the services of Core Therapy!! I would highly recommend them! Experiencia fantástica: Core Therapy is a fantastic office! I wouldn't go anywhere else. Alex is a knowledgeable and personable therapist. It's hard to find care givers who have the time to spend explaining everything and answering all your questions, let alone do with a smile and compassion. She is exemplary in her field and among her peers. Everyone who works there is pleasant and friendly. I had never heard "core therapy" until this year, when my GP referred me. And I am so she did.

Experiencia negativa: Update in response to what the owner of the page put. Since the owner of the page wants to respond to my review as if I was never a patient I might as well tell everyone why I would avoid this place. I was referred here by my PCM and was told that in order for this to be effective I needed to be seen at the very least once a week until we started to see progress and then we could see if we could tone it back. I was then only booked 2, max 3 appointments back to back. After that it started to be one appointment a month. Not because of me. Because of them. I tried to schedule weekly appointments but I was told they were booked out and the soonest I could be seen was a month away. Then when I complained I wasn’t seeing any progress and my physical therapist even said she wasn’t seeing any progress but in order for there to be progress I would need to be seen more. How can I have any progress if I can’t be seen the amount that I need to be seen but then when I try to schedule appointments I’m told they are booked. I also got put on a wait list and was told that they would definitely squeeze me in several times so that I could be seen more then once a month and low and behold I was never called. Don’t accept referrals if you can not provide the amount of time that is required to help the issue. Especially when you are repeatedly telling your patient for this to work and be effective they need to be seen more.. and then not seeing them more? Waste of my time. UPDATE TO THEIR NEW REPLY. First off. I did not cancel any of my appointments but one and that is because I had a more important appointment get rescheduled to that day. So nice try. Trying to blame the patient because you guys are over booked. All you had to do when you got my referral was tell me you could not see me as much as my PCM wanted me to be seen and refer me else where but instead your money hungry and wanted to bill my insurance for it knowing that I was not getting the right amount of treatment needed. Also how about you talk to your employees before you slander your patients. I did not only have one hour a week. I told them I could be flexible but I PREFERED that time. Not that I had to have it. And I asked several times to be seen at a different time if it was better for you guys. Not my fault your employee does not care about "your" patient's. Stop being childish and accept that fact that you guys dropped the ball on this one and stop trying to blame me for your lack of customer service.
