Experiencia negativa: Extremely rude manager and clinic director. You take time off work, actually need help with physical therapy and they tell you that even though you’re five minutes early to your appointment, you may not be able to be seen because you didn’t finish filling out the paperwork. I actually had questions about the paperwork that I wanted to ask so I didn’t finish filling it out before the appointment, but I was told in an extremely rude way that I probably wouldn’t be able to be seen, but I could still fill out the paperwork just for fun. I actually had no problem if my appointment would be cut a little short due to filling out paperwork, even though I saw what was left and it wouldn’t have taken me more than 5 minutes. Don’t waste your time. Go to a provider that has empathy and values kindness. The clinic director could’ve made it right, but he chose to side with the manager, even though she was in the wrong.

I came into the office having suffered years with TMJ and jaw issues, to the point where pain was always on my mind from the minute I woke up. I had tried so many other methods. I ended up working with Andy and over the course of a few months with regular appointments I was able to get my life back to normal!! I learned a lot about strengthening the right muscles and treating my body right as well & was able to “graduate” from physical therapy since I had recovered so much. I especially loved working with Kenna (sorry if I remembered her name wrong!!) during the exercise portions, she was super informative and detailed with her instruction and very kind. Experiencia fantástica: I have been going here for four weeks after my Jiffy Knee replacement and I love this facility! I have been seeing Aspen and she said she was familiar with the JK and Dr. Kavanaugh. She has cared for my incision and she stretches and massages the knee before she takes my measurement. I am currently at 117 ROM. Afterwards, there are very good assistants who work with patients on exercises. Everyone is always in a good mood and friendly and motivating. I highly recommend Foothills at the Paradise Valley location. I have never been to any of the other ones so cannot comment on the other locations. I have one more week before leaving for Coachella Valley, CA where I will continue my PT. I will miss everyone at Foothills! Shout out to Aspen, Vivian, Grace, Savannah, Christian, Tyler, Haley and Andy and the front desk team! Will miss you all!

Experiencia negativa: I moved to Scottsdale from out of state a year ago and immediately began treatment for frozen shoulder. The care I received was excellent and I am now pain free. However, the billing department is useless. I stayed in an Airbnb for several months when I first arrived, and that is the address I used on the paperwork. As is typical, I also gave them my phone number and email. Towards the end of my treatment I changed jobs and had new insurance. I paid the deductible at my last visit and went on my way. I also moved to an apartment with a permanent address. To my surprise I started getting calls from a collection agency almost a year later. Apparently the billing department had been sending bills to the Airbnb for $130 that my insurance didn't cover. This was in addition to the $100 I paid at my appointment. So the total charge for one visit was $230. When I didn't respond to them because I didn't get the bill, instead of using my phone number or email address they had on file, they decided to send it to collections. They are also attempting to collect late fees. At the time of this review, I have paid the $130 bill but have refused to pay the late fee. But that hasn't stopped them from harassing me for it. What is the point of giving a business your contact information if they're not going to use it? They called AND texted me a reminder for every appointment. So why is the billing department too lazy to figure out another way to contact me?

Aspen Cooper, my physical therapist, is compassionate and knowledgeable. She is constantly adapting my program to better rehabilitate my reconstructed heel bone. Aspen and her physical therapy tech, Elizabeth keep an eye on me and give me feedback when I’m not on track with my program. I truly cannot say enough about how amazing my experience has been. Heidi was able to schedule me on same day to check my hip flexor pain which other PT locations could not do. Stephen & Amanda are beyond awesome! I can't even describe! They are so friendly and experienced and took excellent care of me and helped with my hip flexor recovery and strengthening. They keep asking me if I have any questions for them which is very nice and they engage in conversation that makes you feel comfortable. 10/10!

I always work with Andy as my physical therapist. The way he exudes professionalism and positivity is honestly almost infectious. Experiencia fantástica: Full Confidence in this Physical Rehab facility! I have been to the Foothills Sport Therapy in Old Town Scottsdale many times for joint issues, and on-going shoulder issues. My last round of visits was for rehab after a full shoulder replacement. This group of therapists and techs deliver caring and professional care, always with an upbeat attitude and friendly smiles. One of the owners, Andy Moriarty, also works there as a therapist, and hires terrific people and maintains great staff morale. Cannot recommend this office highly enough!

I am forever grateful for my physical therapist Michael -he has magic hands that help relieve pain and heal. The physical therapist assistance are all skilled, kind and cheerful. Experiencia fantástica: My dentist recommended PT for my TMJ disorder earlier this spring. Andy Moriarity at this location is one of only a few in the Valley with specific training for this disorder. He did a thorough evaluation at the first meeting and immediately got to work on my jaw as well as posture problems that needed to be addressed too. After 4 months I feel much better and am equipped to take care of myself, but the door is open should this problem return. From first phone call with Lori to farewell from Becca and everyone in between, everyone was friendly, helpful, and responsive. This was not the closest to home, but definitely worth the ride. First, I wanted to improve my play in a very competitive flag football league, so I met with Wade and he not only created a routine for me, but he taught me multiple new workout routines as well. I noticed a huge change in my speed, flexibility, and overall play. Wade made the entire process such a great learning experience and a lot of fun as well. The entire gym staff is incredibly friendly, fun and knowledgeable. Next, I needed physical therapy after a bone tumor surgery. I ended up working with Jenna who quickly became one of the best medical professionals that I have ever worked with. She helped me beyond words and I am eternally grateful for her knowledge, patience and overall character, as she would listen to me when my surgeon and his staff would not. The entire team at this facility made me feel heard. Overall, this is a wonderful facility that I cannot recommend more highly for physical therapy or exercise/training needs.

Experiencia fantástica: I had three weeks of physical therapy at Foothills Sports Medicine following knee surgery in March. It was right at the beginning of the pandemic. I felt very safe with the sanitary procedures and distancing between patients. I also had excellent treatment from the therapist and assistants. I did my home exercises as instructed and have had great results.

I have an impingement and frozen shoulder. After a couple weeks of appointments with Jennifer, my condition improved dramatically. She is very professional and thorough with her treatments. I have rehabbed at the Old Town Scottsdale location of Foothills Sports Medicine Physical Therapy and each time Brooke Dolberg has been my therapist. Foothills has a great program focusing on the client's individual needs and Brooke has done a great job with me. I give my highest recommendation to Foothills and individually Brooke.

After 2 1/2 weeks, the knots at the base of my skull and along my shoulders are no longer tender to touch 24/7 as they have been for 20+ years. My lead therapist, Jenna Tabaczka, evaluated my condition and started a exercise and therapy plan that has been very successful thus far. Also very impressed with how everyone works together to walk you through your routine. Helpful, cheerful staff and great results thus far. Highly recommend this group.

Experiencia negativa: Made an appointment, gave my insurance information, turns out they don't take my insurance (not a problem so far) but they did not let me know until my appointment, which happened to be two weeks later. So of course, I drive there after waiting 2 weeks to be seen and was told that they don't take my insurance. I had to start all over, get another referral and another place, make an appointment and wait for an opening. I just lost almost a month of physical therapy just because they neglected to make a simple phone call. I inquired about different PT places from people who have had it in the area, almost everyone I've spoken to has had some type of problem with foothills at one time or another. Most end up quitting PT as a result. Now, I am not sure if it's just a particular branch, or not, but I for one will never go back and persuade anyone who inquires to go elsewhere.

My recovery has been so much quicker and easier this time. I am very impressed with their professionalism and the personal attention they give patients. I hope I will not need to use them again, but if I do, I will know that I will be in good hands.

Experiencia fantástica: I am very particular about privacy, respect, kindness, understanding, professionalism and this place knocks it out of the park. I started here on July 16th with Brooke. Having some arthritis and spine compression issues and muscle tightness. I came in to see what they could do for me. She took the time to listen and all asked questions of the things I can and cannot do. I was kind of hesitant to be in to a large room that everyone shared to do PT. I was hoping for a private session. Well i t was! She was focused on me and my goals, and once you start your PT it's as if everything else going on around you disappears. It is now July 28th and am able to move better and with more fluidity. I still have a ways to go. But will continue my journey with Foothills. Props also to Hannah and 3 others that work there that at the moment their names have slipped my mind. But they all are amazing. It's welcoming fom the moment you come n to do paperwork to the moment you leave. Thanks to everyone there for making this journey doable and pleasant. If it wasn't for the kindness I would of not came back after the first day!

Experiencia fantástica: Going to Foothills physical therapy was the most incredible experience. Every person I work with there was so friendly and knowledgeable. They made therapy fun and I actually look forward to going. Fortunately and unfortunately they cured me in a short time. So I did not go back after some five visits. If I ever have any problems again I would never go anywhere else.

Experiencia fantástica: I was referred to Foothills Sports Medicine Physical Therapy by my Podiatrist. So glad that I decided to give "this particular location" a try, as there are several offices. The therapists here are simply AMAZING! My foot swelling from a prior surgery was severely reduced after just one visit. I cannot say enough about the people that work here. They really know what they are doing! Also, from the moment of checking in at the front desk and beyond that point, all employees are friendly, courteous, professional, and a joy to converse with while there. Love this place!

I have confidence in the staff who are not only very knowledgeable and experienced ,but 100 % critical of how the exercises should be interpreted......soooo helpful! There is also a general "air" of friendliness ....the staff seems to remember everyone by name, as well.....a nice feeling!

I have been there for recovery from a new hip, then a new knee a many times for a bad back. Every time over years Foothills Sports Medicine has helped me through the healing stages with friendly, professional and very knowledgeable staff. If you need PT, or physical sport trainers this is the place to go. A few months ago I could hardly get out of bed and became very depressed. I'm so thrilled I chose Foothills over more and more pain pills. Fixing your problem instead of masking the pain is the way to go.

The following visits will consist of an evaluation, and more exercises to help, followed by the machine which stimulates the problem area. They chart your progress and change the exercises, which helps promotes strengthening the problem area.

Experiencia fantástica: This is my first experience with physical therapy. After 6 months of chiropractic care and 2 epidurals I was not getting better and was really discouraged! Within a 2 week period - 4 visits, I am finally starting to get my life back. My Physical Therapist, Sean, has been wonderful; clear with instruction and gentle. The entire PT Tech team, especially Aspen, AJ and Nick have been very helpful. The traction machine has been a plus as well. Very pleased!

PT, Justin, didn't know quite what to do with me when I first arrived with my broken body (literally), but, he figured it out. Justin eventually left and I was assigned to Andy, owner/operator, and[ PT extraordinaire. Andy journeyed with me until I was able to fly and fly I have! Back at work. Feeliong physically confident. Still doing the occasional "John Wayne Walk", leading with my left pelvis, but, all is good. I am grateful for Foothills and Andy and his team for rehabilitating this grateful friend. P.S. Any new-bees out there looking for a career in PT/Sports Medicine, this is the place to go for your part-time job or internship. You will receive OTJT daily.
