Experiencia fantástica: Amazing! Everyone was so helpful and encouraging. When I arrived I did not have the strength to stand. After working with the gifted therapists I gained strength and mobility and was able to walk around the gym with help. LuLu, the therapy dog, was a great help. She cheered for me every time I made progress. ALL of the staff were caring and professional. I strongly suspect there are many angels there in disguise as staff, therapists, nurses, doctors, etc. I can not remember everyones name, but you are all in my heart. Ms. Jill, Ms. Jennifer, Mr. Chuck, Mr. Troy, Ms. Claudia, Ms Jasmine, Ms.Lois, Ms. Katrina, Mr. Wade, Mr. Brandon Mr. Jeff Dr. Bass, Dr. Hernandez, Ms. 'Q', Ms. Melissa, Ms. Regina, LuLu, Ms. Wendy, Mr.Christopher, all cooks for the delicious and thoughtfully prepared meals, to all who continually came to help me go from the bed to the chair. Experiencia fantástica: When I tell you this facility I feel saved my life! I have had quite the ordeal with the unexpected decline in my health where I entered the facility in a wheelchair and left not only feeling stronger and better but walking. They work you hard but with a loving smile on their faces . I have to shout out the liaison Madison Edwards for being amazing in making my transition from Ochsner to Shreveport Rehabilitation so seamless! She was very instrumental on getting me there without any hiccups. The place smells good..its very clean..everyone is really nice which made my recovery that much better because I was always in good spirits and around positivity. I got the impression that everyone loves what they do and it really showed through and through! My nurses were the bomb and I was chatting with them like I had already knew them. They made me that comfortable! My husband is in the process of getting some rehab from shreveport rehabilitation as well and I know he will do just as well as I did. Shout out to all thr therapists and other staff but Sam(PT) and Cassie(PT)..yall are the sweetest souls and im just gonna say that yall have God all up and through your spirit. It truly shows. I did alot of taking but I was observing yall as well and I pray that yall stay exactly how yall are! We need more people like yall and the entire staff at Shreveport Rehabilitation. Experiencia fantástica: My dad recently stayed here for about 2 weeks after a major emergency surgery. He was very pleased with the care he was given. He still tells me daily about how grateful he is to all the different therapists who worked with him during his stay.

Experiencia fantástica: This facility needs 10 stars. When entering the building you catch a vibe of friendly and positive attitudes from people that seem to love their jobs. All levels of staff are on top of their game from support staff to nurses, rehab and administration. There is an abundance of natural sunlight and the rooms are very clean. The food is fantastic and not skimpy. Patients are praised and encouraged. Our patient improved ten-fold in just one week. Shreveport Rehab has been nothing short of a miracle.

Experiencia fantástica: We love Shreveport Rehabilitation Hospital. This is our 4th time to stay here due to some recovery from shunt placement & adjustments. The staff is incredible. We love nurses, Tara, Jill & PRN Jennifer. Our nurses assistant Gina goes way beyond the call of duty. Case manager, Sharda has gotten all our requests handled quickly. We love therapists Sam, Kenzie, Cassie & Chuck. Keep up the great work!!

Experiencia positiva: Despite our hopes for a positive outcome based on what we'd heard, our experience fell far short. Ultimately, we found the level of care to be inadequate, masked by a superficial appearance of concern. In short, please carefully consider other options before entrusting a loved one, especially someone recovering from a stroke, to this facility.

Who went above and beyond their call of duty to make our leave more possible. Also to the cooks who did an amazing job to fix food that my husband would eat. Our 28 days was amazing and heartfelt, which didn't seem that long.

I want to give a special THANK YOU to the following staff members: Chris Henry (gentle giant of a tech) Kim Gray & Sandra Abrams (nighttime angels that watch over you) Chuck Stephenson (OT that gets your mind as well as your body in the correct way) Wendy (PT that has red hair just like the fast food mascot but this Wendy will make that body right) Kimico (Admin staff - Every time I went walking, Kim would stop what she was doing to go walking with me. She is a loving DRILL SARGENT.) There are so many more that I want to thank but I would be here all day.

The staff, the attention to detail, the thoroughness, the professionalism. This is a world class facility. We chose this place on the recommendation of a friend in the medical field that told us this is where they would bring their own mother. I highly recommend this place for anyone in need of this kind of care . Thank you .

Experiencia fantástica: This is far better than any other hospital I have ever been in. The staff here is wonderful and actually cares about you as a person. The facility is new, state of art, and is clean and well maintained. Their jym is incredible in the variety of machines available and the knowledge the staff has to use the equipment is mind blowing. I have not had a bad interaction with anyone here. The food here is nearly gourmet in quality.

The follow up getting things in place for discharge and home are was handled to perfection thanks to Sandie the best of the best. I would highly recommend Shreveport Rehabilitation. Experiencia fantástica: My husband was admitted to Shreveport Rehab after a traumatic brain injury, and being released from LSU. Shreveport Rehab was wonderful!! The facility is new, it's like a new hotel. The staff was caring and personable. He received excellent care! I would unquestionably, unhesitatingly use this facility again. He liked the food as well-- which is a plus!

Staff is excellent. They really helped me. I'm doing more now than before my surgery. I would highly recommend Shreveport Rehabilitation.

Experiencia fantástica: I had a brain mass removed and was not quite strong enough to return home. I spent a week at Shreveport Rehabilitation Hospital for intensive therapy. All of the staff were great. I got such good care and with the help of the awesome therapists, i was able to improve my skills to be able to go home safely and more independently.

They had a special sized doorway for my grandmother and it may seem like no big deal, but it was so nice to just be able to breeze in without the normal routine of moving things around! Wonderful wonderful experience!!!

Experiencia fantástica: I was so excited to see this new facility and all it offers for my residents that just need a couple of weeks of rehab for strengthening after a fall, or illness. Plus, I have known Toni Goodin years who is the CEO, and the dedication and passion she has ever done in this community. I toured it shortly after it opened and I could not believe all the equipment and new technology it offers. I had no idea so much could ever be offered to anyone needing rehab. Nothing like this in Shreveport for sure. Here are some things that touched me and makes me feel very comfortable about recommending to my residents to go. 1. The openness from the front door throughout. The common area in the halls where the sleeping room are. They have tables and chairs and comfortable It actually looked like our residents apartments seating, and they are not on top of each other. Plenty of space for gathering with enough privacy when visiting the patient. It did not feel like a hospital at all. 2. The patient rooms are nice and large and not all cramped up. Large picture windows so someone does not feel so closed in. 3. The nursing stations are positioned in the center so that something goes wrong, they are right there. 4. The gym, I could go on and on about that gym. But what meant a lot to me was the apartment they have to reteach the patient for safely living alone independently. It has a kitchen and a bathroom. It actually looked like our residents apartments They had someone working with the process of washing, drying and folding their clothes. I never thought about that. And that car....I had a friend that had a health crisis as that was what he kept saying, I just need someone to help me get in and out of my car. I suggested him to go there and he went and they did a fabulous job. I have been back several times with families and two other friends looking at this place because I know it will help them. It's easy to sale something you believe in when you do. I would suggest it to anyone that needs rehab. It just offers so much more and something I just learned Wednesday is that's they even work with the patients if they have a PET and they teach them to walk outside on a leash. ❤️ Well done, Shreveport really needed this facility!

If you are in need of short term or long term rehabilitation services, please check this facility out. They have the state of art equipment. And the place is absolutely beautiful.

I'm happy to be going home soon feeling better! I would recommend this hospital to other people who need Rehabilitation.

Experiencia fantástica: My Mom(who is 92) had surgery and was just not strong enough to go back home without assistance. Shreveport rehabilitation hospital was the exact place she needed to be. She was there 10 days. She received PT, OT, and ST. The staff, facility and equipment were fabulous. Not only did they prepare my Mom to go home she loved each of her sessions. As her daughter, it was so good to hear her tell me about playing cornhole, working on a bike, mental skills. She said I know that what they are doing is helping me get stronger but it is fun. My Mom was very scared when she got there but when she left she told us that is what she needed. This facility is definitely needed in Shreveport and one I would I choose again. Thanks to Toni and her staff for everything

Experiencia fantástica: I spent 9 days there in May ‘22 after back surgery. The care was excellent. Big shout out to my two primary therapists, Angela (PT) and Frances (OT). The nursing staff was also great. The main gym has state of the art equipment. When I left, I felt very confident about returning th my home.
