Experiencia negativa: Horrible place to have such kind staff. If you really care about your loved ones please don’t use the facility. They are. very professional with communication skills and that’s it. They will let your loved one lay there and do nothing for them!! All I’m saying is when the hospital tells you they have done nothing to care for your loved one that is very sad and wrong . Staff even have kids at the nursing station guess they are the ones being taken care of very in appropriate!

Experiencia negativa: worked there a few times, it wasn’t the best but I didn’t complain, BUT when I told them I would have to leave a little early due to my child’s schools situation. It was a PROBLEM I let the nurse know at 4am when I got a call!! I got up a did all my work then was told I was working another hall as well. So all that had to be done too, I did that all by myself, helped with breakfast, and got my people up once again with no help. By the time I left I think it was 6:30am. I only left 30 mins before time to get off . As I made it to Circle K, across the street. i got a call from the supervisor or administrator, idk who it was. They were so rude and told me I would never be hired back! I am very professional, but by this time I was not because the lady was so rude to me. I ended up telling her about the facility which she did not care. I was very upset because I never complained about anything in the facility, until she kept saying how I would never work for them again. Talking about me, how I work, an how unprofessional I was. So all my words were unfiltered after that, and so were hers!! The facility was so nasty. Their linen and trash barrels were not cleaned they had poop all in the bottom of them an they smelled so bad. The facility had a strong smell of urine an poop all down the halls. There were ROACHES everywhere!!!!! Crawling all on the walls, doors, floors, in the residents refrigerators, and on the tv’s ect. On top of that I worked the halls that I had BY MYSELF. ANDDDDDDDD THE WORKERS WERE sitting outside SMOKING WEED WITH THE RESIDENTS more than once cause i seen it quite often while being there.. but all of the rude unprofessional behavior with me because i got all my work done and left 30 mins early. I was trying to be so sweet an professional but I would never work there again!

Experiencia negativa: This objective review is based on our personal experiences at the Bradford. We had a resident at this facility about a month ago. Saddly we should have read the reviews and spoke to families with loves at the facility currently & or recentely. I observed the staff at the Bradford to be nasty, lazy and disrespectful. During our family member discharge meeting the nurse manager informed me that the therapist (s ) have to see other patients. Mind you no one was held hostage and everyone present was over the age of 21. Furthermore she choose to ignore our family member by only asking the family if they have any questions as opposed to also asking if the Bradford resident has any questions and or concern. This action speaks volume to the attitude of the Bradford staff and mangementment. This manager called me cognitively impaired. This is not true. I was shocked, appalled and dismayed. Also during the discharge meeting the social worker consumed valuable time repeatedly talking about her family and her education. Who cares ! We took off work for a discharge meeting in regard tobour loved one. - No one else. Pleaae throughly due your honework. And remove your family member promply, if nessary.

Experiencia negativa: This is a brief summary. Earlier today (24 March) the Bradford social worker falsely accused my family of stealing a facility wheelchair. This false allegation is solely based on the facility alleging that it could not locate this wheelchai and perhaps our race. Mind you we were watched by two facility employees while my family member caught into the car and drove away-- no one stopped us. Why? We did nothing wrong. The facility administrator urged us to return if needed . I stated there is NO WAY that would EVER happen. My family have deep connections in the healthcare community. I will share my defamation and slander of character experience with others. And NOT refer potential clients to the Bradford nasty conditions, for example trash left overflowing for days.

Experiencia fantástica: On Valentine's Day, I witnessed the most culture driven activity for skilled nursing facility that I had seen in some time. Stephen Peterson, Tamara Grimm and the staff of kind-hearted caregivers at the Bradford hosted a Beauty Pageant to spread LOVE throughout their facility! The activity led by Heather Myers; Activity Director, was a huge success for the residents and families, alike. The families came dress to impress to support their beauty queens in a variety of categories. The categories ranged from best conversationalist to best smile. Way to go for shifting the atmosphere in your healthcare community!!

Experiencia negativa: They did not return everything and stole 50 dollars out of my dad's wallet. He is now passed away. He was passed away when I went to get everything. In other words: they stole from an old sick dying (now dead) man and feel no remorse.

Experiencia fantástica: I love this place .The people at this faucility took my 22 year old daughter in and treated her as if she was a family member. She never wanted for anything and they nurse her back to good health. They never gave up on her and never let her give up on herself. When she went in they promised me so many things and never once did they lie to me..Thanks to the staff at the Bradford(NURSES ,THERAPY ,CNA SOCIAL WORKER, ECT) my daughter is home able to do for herself..I thank the Lord everyday for these peope. I recommend this location to any and everyone. I LOVE YOU GUYS!!!!

Experiencia fantástica: I visited your facility recently, Oct 9th 2022. I decided that it was necessary to write a review of what I observed. Lots of folks can always complain per bad things, however when they encounter good they never say. Well, I am. This is not a privately funded place. Its mostly funded through the U. S. Gov't Medicare/Medicaid system, which, from what I observed the administration, staff and employees are doing a fantastic,and wonderful job. The place was clean, even the public restrooms, I used. Smell was pleasant, not the usual urine orders found in places like these. Outside well maintained, as well as inside. The front desk receptionist the I saw was very polite, courteous and directed me how to get to my sister's room. Upon leaving she told my to have a great rest of my day as well. Compared to the place in New Orleans where my love one was prior to going here, from hurricane Ida, in 2021, well let's just say it 1000 percent improvement. Please, keep up the good work. Again, for the type of funding this place receives, which is mostly government, you'll do very, very well getting the maximum from it. GOD BLESS!!

Experiencia negativa: This place needs to be shut down immediately. Do not send your loved ones to this facility ever. They neglect and abuse their patients and it is a very horrible facility. They do not provide a safe and clean environment for their patients at all. SHUT THEM DOWN NOW!!!!!!

Experiencia negativa: The end of life journey is long and painful in and of itself. But the Bradford only aided in making it more agonizing and unbearable! From the front desk staff who act as though they own the building and treat the patients and visitors as though they are God's gift to the world. To the nurses who take more than an hour to deliver vital lifesaving medication. The nurses are seriously overworked and the aids just simply want to be anywhere but there. My mother asked them to help her with something and she was told "can't you do anything for yourself!?" They turned off her oxygen for an entire night. When she asked the nurse why she felt dizzy. She told her to breath deeper (while the oxygen machine was still off). We we addressed several other incidents with the director of nursing and social services nothing was done to rectify or change anything. What a very shame to treat these patients in such a disgraceful manor. I wouldn't send my worst enemy for care there. Rehabilitation and nursing home should be removed from the name and just call it "The Bradford A Place To Wait To Die"

Experiencia negativa: DO NOT PUT YOU LOVED ONE, OR YOUR ENEMY here. ADMINISTRATION ISNT STRONG, ORGANIZED, OR HOLD STAFF ACCOUNTABLE. RECEPTIONIST IS RUDE. TECHS WALK AROUND WITH ATTITUDES AND FOOD SMELLS AND TASTE BAD. CONS: THE TECHS DONT ANSWER THE CALL BELL. TECHS DONT TURN PATIENCE, CHECK VITALS, NOR CHANGE THEM. NURSES :DONT REPORT CONCERNS TO THE DR OR NP, NURSES USE OTHER PATIENT MEDS FOR PATIENTS INSTEAD OF CALLING PHARMACY FOR REFILL. PROS: BEAUTIFUL, STATE OF THE ART THERAPY STAFF AND FACILITIES.

Experiencia fantástica: I definitely had to post a review! I was an Interim Director of Nursing services at this facility for a few weeks during Nobember & December 2018, and the experience was great. All of the employees there were very welcoming and supportive. The nursing managers demonstrated hearts of gold. They really really went the extra mile daily to ensure quality care and embraced a multitude of changes and daily directives...and together we did great things. I wish I could name every single employee...but that’s impossible...there are so many that are near and dear to my heart. So I want to send every one of them well wishes (the administrative staff, the nurses, the CNAs, housekeeping staff, dietary staff, dietician, social services, activities director, plant ops, secretaries, medical records, MDS coordinators, business office staff, therapy department, etc...and to Jessica with the corporate office...a very special thank you for facilitating my onboarding and ongoing support throughout such a quick transition. I’ll always remember this place as a facility that employeed some of the best people that I’ve met. Many blessings to all of you. Happy 2019.

Experiencia negativa: My mother and her hospitalist chose this facility without any discussion with the family or research. Her Primary Care Physician had never heard of it. Her first impression was positive after being in a hospital bed for weeks. The room was nicer and had a more comfortable bed. There were a couple of nice staff members initially but she soon learned that wasn't the case for all. Her first weekend (no therapy?) she was wheeled into a group room and left there wet over 4 hours without staff attention. While in her room, Its been over an hour before she could get help to go to the bathroom. They may have resorted to diapers so they don't have to bother...but that's not helping her gain independence. Twice now her fragile skin has been broken when getting a bath causing fluids to run all over her from the break. Her food tray has been set on the night stand where she can't reach it and left there. She was wheeled to the dining room and stuck at a table alone, further enhancing the sense of isolation. While its not known if she just hasn't figured out the remote, she's been unable to find regular television programs on the internal network. Mom's 87 and on a restricted diet. She's been served meals with fried foods and 3 or more carbs and says she's had eggs w/sausage for most breakfasts (did say grits and oatmeal were also served). I'm not sure how that can be compliant with the health needs of seniors. The facility is supposed to have a good physical therapy unit, but we are wondering about that. Mom needs gross motor strength after being bed ridden so long. Some days she's had only one PT session and it was manipulatives for fine motor. Putting pegs in a board and playing with clothes pins aren't helping her weak legs get her to the bathroom . After two weeks, she can't do anything now she wasn't doing when she got there. Why would our taxes pay for full time care for a hour or so of therapy?T hat can be done in her own home. There was some kind of emotional meltdown on the first weekend as well...she said no one would answer her calls or help her. I called her PCP who was asked to initiate a psyche evaluation and check her meds to see what caused the episodes. He was going to speak with the facility doctor and get things going. A week later and nothing but blood work has been done as far as I know. If I didn't have pneumonia and live out of state, I'd come get her myself. Hoping "the system" will work FOR HER soon. This is a sad situation. P.S. Given there is no verification of reviewer contact with the facility, I wonder what the actual review score would be minus those who have just visited "distant relatives" there or who only click on a star for rating without any valid or useful content. That is the weakness of a public post site.

Experiencia negativa: My mother came for respit care ten days and it took only those days for her to get the heel of her feet broke down and blistered. She's never had break down until the Bradford, and I hear people say that Dr. Gambil own this place and he doesn't care about the patients there. Now I know first hand he doesn't. I spoke with Dylan the administrator there and he doesn't care either. This was the biggest mistake of my life leaving here there because coming inside every face there is rude, no friendly people from the front door to the back doors and the place stinks. Garden Park is the best,by far they didn't have beds available. I would not recommend this place to my dog. Very unprofessional there. The place fair smell like feces. Garden Park you wouldn't know it's a nursing home its always100 and the staff is super. A place always reflect it's owner and Administration! If i were you iI would not use this place ever. Just Shameful, and to think a Doctor owns this place, just sad.

Experiencia negativa: My grandmother stayed here for a while and one thing that needs to be known is that we were told that we had to pay a specific dollar amount out of pocket while waiting on Medicare/caid for her to stay there and get therapy. Then I found out that I should have never had to pay out of pocket. I was promised a refund and now six weeks later still nothing. And can only get to talk to the people there and no one else. It is sad that a place like this apparently stays in business by ripping off the elderly and disabled. I wouldn’t leave my worst enemy in their care. The only good thing about it is my grandmother is no longer there. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!

Experiencia negativa: This place is very unprofessional. Rude to residents and has no compassion for the elderly. There are a few great workers i am sure that really does care, however, my encounter was not pleasant. When my father asked to see what was on a snack cart and he was told “no i am not getting the snack cart”, when questioned why not, the aid got an attitude, put her hand in my fathers face and then slammed the door behind her. The story she told her supervisor was not the same story that my mother over heard (who happened to be on speaker phone at the time). They cover each others mess ups and attititudes. When I and my father ask the aid for her name she would not give it to us and told us she didnt care who we called. Many other things like med orders not being followed through with for medications. Two days in a row his blood sugar dropped too low because they were giving him too much medicine. I requested the sheets to be changed after 4 days. Also, the food needed to be wiped off his food tray. The trash was over flowing in a small trash can along with a used bed pan in the trash can. I could go on and on. I am meeting with the director in the morning. I also had another family stop me and share how their family member reported physical roughness.
