Experiencia positiva: There were very friendly and knowledgeable people there, but not all of them were. And I understand not having one on one treatment all the time, but if anyone does then they must need it. Because it was more give me instructions and go to someone else to give them instructions. That's okay with me but one on one I did not find true. I think the thing that offended me the most was when a sweet girl was humorously scolded for talking to me and then a guy walked in and several of them flocked around him to just talk. I paid out of pocket so I wasn't a big money maker nor am I a male. Another part that could have made it a little easier was knowing the lay out of the facility. I know when you are use to it, things seem simple, but there were things I found out on my own about where things were and the process. I'm happy most people had a wonderful experience because they probably needed it more than I did.

Everyone who works here has been so wonderful and supportive of my healing journey. Julie runs a fantastic operation that truly does focus on getting the best possible results. A special thank you to Noah, Liset, Peyton, and Robyn - you all always made my appointments more manageable and even enjoyable, especially on those high pain days that were hard to push through. Top notch care from a lot of amazing humans. 10/10 would recommend.

Experiencia fantástica: I was really nervous about starting physical therapy due to my injuries. After my 1st appointment, I was completely at peace. Having the most amazing staff welcome me with warm smiles and getting to meet Dr. Harris-I knew this was the place I needed to be to get better. Every session consisted of Intentional exercises, one on one care, and care plans for home. I felt heard when I had moments of concerns and the therapist would work with me to address those issues. One thing I really valued was the knowledgeable staff. They were all able to explain all things on my level of understanding which made me even more comfortable with the quality of care. Although I’m happy to feel better, I’m also sad that I won’t get the SALT family experience each week. From therapist, to friends, and now family. Thankful to have been treated by the BEST in Shreveport-Bossier!

Experiencia fantástica: I began my physical therapy journey at S.A.L.T. several weeks ago. On my first visit I walked in with a lot of pain, using a cane and tears in my eyes. I was so depressed and thought that I would never walk pain free again. My family was really worried about me as I had never been so down and it was hard to believe that this ordeal would get better. How wrong I was! After my first two visits I looked forward to going, and would not even think about missing my session, even when I had a flat tire and called them immediately to see if I could come in a bit later. All of the staff knew me by my name from day one, and they all noticed immediately when after a few sessions I walked in without my cane and a smile on my face. My therapist was so encouraging, as is the entire staff, and they all just cheer you on making you want to work harder! I can't say enough about this place and I will be forever grateful to them for giving me my life back. I was in a really dark place for the first time in my life and with their help, encouragement and genuine love and support I am now happy, enjoying my life again, and WALKING PAIN FREE!!!

They have an amazing staff from the front office to the therapists in the back. Speaking of…Dr Julie Harris is one of the best physical therapists in the entire world. She works with so many surgeons and different insurance company’s it really does impress me! Her patience is unmatched. I was only there for about 3 months but honestly I got so much better in so little time. She and all the staff did an amazing job I would have came in out of pocket even if they did not take my insurance (which they did). And I can’t forget about the front office, they are so amazing! They always have a lot going on yet they always make the time to help me with my needs. Noah up front is so amazing I could ask for a simple request like getting a form for my insurance and he is quick to inform me they he will get in contact with his manager to get that world in immediately. And going back to my therapy, I was referred her for aquatic therapy and THAT POOL omg it is truly amazing, the temperature is set to 90 degrees and the water feels amazing. And the process was so quick! I came in for my initial visit and a couple days later I was in the pool!! I can also appreciate SALT for shaping the future of physical therapies!! When I was there I noticed a student from BPCC and can I tell you there is no other therapist other than Dr Julie that I would want teaching the future of physical therapy. I truly mean that Dr Julie is amazing!!! The staff all works as one it really sets the example for what team work is and sets the bar really high. I can not recommend this clinic any more I truly loved everything about my experience there.

Experiencia negativa: FYI be very aware they don’t except any insurance. I was referred from my Dr. Was never told they don’t except any insurance’s. I went to my first consultation paid $80 was told by Dr Julie she worked with many surgeons and insurance companies and would make sure that my insurance would cover my therapy. (NOT TRUE) Went for 3 months out of my pocket. Not only out of network they don’t accept any insurance. When I asked for a HIPAA 1500 claim form ( forms to send to insurance) was told they don’t have them by the insurance lady. I looked behind her and there’s stack of them. That already upset me. My doctor that referred me there wanted me to have aquatic therapy. They did not want me to get in the pool. I had a BPCC student PT-A giving me instructions outside of the pool. It’s not a one on one place they are given directions to several different patients at one time so you’re not getting 1 on 1. When asking for the insurance lady to call me on multiple occasions, she let me know real quick both doctors don’t fill out any forms for your insurance company. They do not do that when I was told pacifically told face-to-face with Dr. Julie that she did go to bat for the patients. If I would’ve known this all in the beginning, and if they would have called my doctor and told her that they do not accept any insurance and they will not help me in anyway shape or fashion, this could have been avoided. Wasted all my money. I have to start all over again.Every 4 weeks you have to pay $80 for a progress update which is you filling out a form you can barely see for $80. Doesn’t seem reasonable to me at all.

When I became a client/patient their I could not really walk at all without being in pain and limped over. I went from a walker to a cane now I ambulate by myself. I use the cane for long outings. When I first started attending I can honestly say that I was in a place of darkness because I was facing an injury that also started to affect my mental as well as my outlook on life, but never could I have known that the staff would provide more than just a service they also gave me something that was priceless which was hope, patience and the knowledge to help build my body as well as my confidence back up and even in my lowest moments they were still there in support and the crazy thing is this is what they do every day but I don't think they realize how much they have inspired and changed my life, so from the bottom of my heart to the entire staff and college staff thank you so much and I hope to see you guys again one day but hopefully only passing through the grocery store lol Love D'angelo

They each helped me but the results fell far short of what I felt I could accomplish and left me unable to participate in many of the activities I loved (hiking and horseback riding and long walks with my dog). Fortunately, a friend mentioned Dr. Harris (Julie) to me. Her expertise has gotten me back into EVERYTHING I love to do, as well as making my everyday life less painful and improving my sleep! I have worked with Julie annually since then. I consider her my "primary care PT".

Experiencia fantástica: Maria, I am so sorry that you experienced that problem, but as a patient of Julie’s, I know she would be eager to provide help for anyone in need. I use to walk 12,000-14,000 steps a day, but last May I could not even walk 1,000 steps and was put on medication. I was having pain in the left side of my lower back and it went down my left leg. I was hardly able to walk and at times could not walk at all. My orthopedic specialist sent me to Shreveport, Aquatic and Land Therapy. During my consultation with Julie, I was So impressed!! While showing my x-rays, she explained in detail what I was experiencing and in a way that I could easily understand. I began salt water/land exercises and soft tissue mobilization. Before I went to Julie, I honestly did not think I would be able to do my steps ever again. However, within 3 months I was able to walk 10,000 steps!!! I have been to many physical therapists before, but I have Never been to one that was as knowledgeable And as able to clearly explain to the patient in a way average people can understand as Julie does. Also, she knows exactly what needs to be done to correct the problem- I was off of pain medication within a month or less. My son, who is a lawyer, has even gone to her and was Very impressed. He doesn’t brag about doctors too often. I also have to add that Julie’s staff is second to none. They are very efficient, extremely friendly, and very compassionate and caring!l!! Maria, again... Experiencia fantástica: Knowledgeable doctors, friendly personnel, and very clean and upbeat atmosphere!...I was involved in a high speed vehicle accident and thought my neck/back would never heal. Thanks to my physical therapist Katy, after only 3 therapy sessions my neck feels 100% better. They go the extra mile with perks like hot towels, massages, and snack and drink bar.

They look at healing and making a broken you, a BETTER YOU, as they are in it to promote your life, not to make a quick buck, like most hospitals here. Aside from the doctor and physical therapist being BEAUTIFUL, SWEET, and TOTAL HOTTIES, they ACTUALLY KNOW THEIR ISH! The only two things missing from here are YOGA and MEDITATION. I requested for help on the history of the company for my report. What better source, than straight from them. but to my dismay, no reply whatsoever. Later I was contacted and was offered helpful advice. I still had to change my report due to time. But I am greatful for their willingness to help me threw my studies of Physical Therapy.
