Experiencia fantástica: Good morning I wanted to recognize pierremont Healthcare who took great care of my aunt who has no children they communicated with my family each step of the way with the rehab program she was able to discharge home in 14 days by walking out the facility and she came in a wheelchair. She is now reconditioned and much stronger Thanks

Experiencia fantástica: My 82yr old Daddy stayed at Pierremont Healthcare while getting IV antibiotics for sepsis. The staff there was AMAZING! I cannot say enough about them. They took Excellent care of him as if he was part of their own family and he considered them his! KK, Tamra, Ms. Mary, his caseworker Lisa, EVERYONE there made his stay away from home the best it could be! Thank you all for taking such great care of my Daddy! You all are Angels in our eyes! And thank you to his roommate Anthony for watching over him while he was there! You all are in our prayers!

Experiencia negativa: I do not recommend this facility for your loved ones. This place was the death of my grandmother. She was sent here for rehabilitation which were services she did not receive. They had a Covid outbreak and did not take any safety precautions before and during the outbreak for the safety of the visitors, staff, and residents. My grandmother ended up getting Covid at this facility and the facility did not treat her for Covid. Her health worsened extremely from catching Covid at this facility to the point she could not come back from it. Also, if you receive equipment from them for your loved one they want you to write a good review about the facility in order to receive and keep the equipment, so some of these reviews are forced and not authentic.

Experiencia fantástica: Pierremont healthcare is a wonderful place for a loved one. Toquella who is the sweetest lady, she can tell you all about Pierremont. Sheena a nice lady is there to show you around this beautiful facility, you will love it. Every time I’m there I’m hoping it’s fried chicken day, they have the best chicken I’ve ever had. . Their administrator Buddy is helpful and always willing do anything to make sure you are happy and comfortable. Go by and say hello to Shenna the admissions coordinator, let her give you a tour.

Experiencia fantástica: I would like to share with our community about a great nursing facility right in the inner circle of Shreveport Pierremont has a great rehab team they encouraged my dad to do therapy every day and on a day off he would go to the rehab gym to do exercises because he was determined to go home strong. He spent 14 days there and went home on home health to continue with rehab so he didn’t loose all he gained in therapy there, it was all setup with their social worker and Doctor. If you looking for a good clean rehab for your parents go there! Thanks again to all the staff.

Experiencia negativa: I’m very unhappy with this place, y’all do a very bad job answering the phone especially with peoples families in there. No one should have to call to a nursing home 10 times back to back & never get a call back, just to tell y’all my grandmother is yelling because she’s uncomfortable ? i never get transferred to a nurse, the phone automatically hangs up. Please put people in y’all’s nursing home that actually want to help people, everyone on night shift seems lazy & unhelpful.

Experiencia positiva: My precious and beloved father was a resident of Pierremont prior to his passing in 2015. It was the hardest yet best decision for my Mom had to make, but she respected and understood the level of care Papa needed and she also understoodshe could no longer provide it physically, emorionally or mentally. Now almost 10 years later, Mom's health is changing and she needs the same level and quality of care that my father received. My brothers and I had absolutely no desire to place Mom in a longterm health facility; however, we understood the need for Mom to receive, quality, caring, professional, kind, loving, and considerate care from a Healthcare Facility with an admiral reputation. My brothers and I fully understand that there are no "perfect" Healthcare Facilities, just as there are no perfect homes; but we also know that with our family's support, love and prayers, God's Amazing Grace and Mercies will continue to bless our Mom and all the residents of Pierremont though the dedication and professional medical/residential care from its staff, management and owners. Thank you Pierremont for welcoming Mom home she was so excited to come home today and we are looking forward to see that beautiful light continue to shine in her heart and eyes for many days to come.

This has proven to be a very emotional & stressful ordeal for myself and my mother. Ms. Gooding discussed "realistic" options with me that would best suit my mother's condition and provide the assistance I definitely need at this time. None of my questions were left unanswered and I never felt like I was a bother to her. Ms. Gooding, if you happen to read this, I want you to know that I wish there were more Care Professionals such as yourself. The experience you provided was one that everyone should have. Experiencia fantástica: We recently visited Willis Knighton Pierrement for unexpected yet non-life threatening emergency care.. my relative did not feel well and WK Pierrememt was the closest medical facility. This accidental visit is one of the best visits to a local hospital. The register staff is exact precise and very helpful. The nurses and doctor Jacobson are superb!

Experiencia negativa: I am very displeased with the employees there. My mom has been to this facility a few times without any problems until now. My mom was talking and everything; however, when my sister went to pick up her things due to getting discharged. She noticed something wasn't right our mom. She had a hard time speaking, couldn't get her words out and in a daze. My mom started crying because she couldn't get her words out. My sister went to the nurses station to ask them what was wrong with her cause she is not speaking like she use to. They looked like a deer in headlights. One of the nurses told her she just changed her and she was talking. That was a LIE. There wasn't no explanation they could give. My sister took her home to watch her to see if things would change and she had to be taken to the hospital. My mom was constipated. They didn't noticed that she hasn't had a bowel movement. Learned today that she suffered a stroke while in the care of Pierremont Rehab facility and NO ONE acknowledged it. If I could give zero stars I would. I feel like they are not doing the job they are paid to do. We will be speaking with someone in charge about this. Signed a very PISSED daughter.

Experiencia negativa: The nursing assistants are horrible and not trained properly.However the rehab staff is excellent! The showering and bathing area is not sanitized or cleaned properly. The residents are not treated with respect; constantly are calling out for help and assistance with no answer from the staff btw I was a patient there for 3 months. I now suffer from PTSD because of my experience here. Please avoid this facility.

I started hollaring for help. No response. I finally made it to the hall nurses to be told I was lying I don't leave my room door open because I get cold She told me that's too bad then she can't help me & was told the call bells don't work. This was so dangerous for me & the other patients.

They don't listen to the patient or family who is advocating for him. My dad was there since last Thursday and had not been washed up until I checked him out and brought him home. Their holier than thou attitude is stinks. They do not have the ADA toilets for their patients.i can go on and on but you get my drift.

Experiencia negativa: My mom is there just for rehab and the staff as far as the CNAs and some of the nursing staff have not been turning my mom nor getting her out of the bed or wheelchair in a timely manner and has cause bed sores and open wound on her. They don't respond to a call in a timely manner then when they do, they are very nonchalant about it. I wouldn't recommend this facility to anybody loved one

Experiencia negativa: My mom has been in this place for almost two months and my first visit was on her birthday, the day I found out that her outfit that I brought the previous Saturday for her birthday to wear came up missing, not only one but 3, and they were very short on staff members, the family is not allowed to go in her room, so we have to hear from our mother that her clothes are still in bags after weeks of being there. Now I found out that a staff member who changed her bed was on her phone the entire time she was changing the bed, while my mom was trying to get her attention, to see if her bottom dentures was in the bed, the staff member only replied after walking out with the sheets a harsh NO, and walked out without checking to see. Now she have no bottom dentures. She is getting weaker because she is in bed more than she should be. No activity unless she has visitors. I am logging every incident, cannot tell all, but be alert and please check on your family, people don't show compassion and love like they should. I'm trusting God through this process, that any theif will be found out.

Experiencia positiva: My partner is there now and seems I get way too many complaints from him about mainly the night shift. Seems that when he needs something some of the staff cops a bit of an attitude. During the day shift most of them are very nice. He calls me when they don't answer his call button then I have to call and complain to get anything done. It is their job to take care of patients regardless of their situation. I have spoken to the social worker, head nurses, and Administration but it still continues. We were both pleased at first, but now they are getting very lazy on doing their jobs. It's a shame that these people are supposed to be professionals and getting paid to do their job. I guess I will have to complain again, but they tend to take it out on him.

I didn''t expect to stay that long, but things aren't always the same as you expect them to be. When you consider that all of your bills are paid, meals are furnished, nurses around the clock daily activities, some transportation provided, and most of all you do not need to get out in the weather unless you want to .It is a nice place to stay.

We don't claim to be perfect here at Pierremont, but we do promise that we will give 120% for each and every resident that comes through those doors!!!!

We have a very family oriented atmosphere which makes it a great place for the residents to reside. The staff is very attentive and caring. My great aunt was moved from her home where she was abused by her son and lived with rats and their feces including snakes crawling in her bed to this facility. It has been a battle to get quality care from this facility. My aunt has had the flu and repeated utis to the point of hospitalization with e coli uti that has left her extremely weak.She cant feed herself and no one will feed her. Shes been left wet and weve gone in and theres been 2 diapers on her at one time. We got a camera since by law its allowed and have seen aides yanking her clothes off over her head even though she has pins in her shoulder (all clothes have zippers and buttons so that's not necessary). She could get up to use bathroom at first...no one took her ..nor wheeled her in bathroom to wash her own face and brush her own teeth. We put make up on her...two days later its still on her face. By the way, the administrator himself loved the idea of the camera until we told him about the abuse and other things we were seeing. Now as sick as she is he wants her out of the facility or he wants her moved to a room with another person where the other person doesnt want camera used....bathroom door will slam into her bed and bathroom is right in her face nor is there a curtain...ALL TO BE VINDICTIVE. He told us the care was horrible on the 3rd hall but thought we could help turn it around...hes even badmouthed staff by name to us. They are very short staffed so therefore the help is in a horrible mood which transfers to patients care. When staff tells him he tells them to figure it out...as told to us by many of the staff!!! He sits at a desk that has nothing but a phone on it...not a fingerprint or crumb. He never goes down the halls to visit or see what's going on. His wife sits on a little tray table crammed up in a corner of his office doing ALL THE PAPERWORK. There is no one to supervise anything. At times there will be no nurse or aide on a hallway. All employees stay on their personal cell phones all of the time....huge downfall of care. You will see men driving up and aides going out to cars at night. Doors are unlocked, no one staffs desk at night, rugs will be stuck in doors so anyone at anytime can come into that facility. Very unsafe.. There is NO SECURITY. Theres no morale and the staff is underpaid for what they do. $11.25 to wash poop and pee off someone, etc. Theres no supervision ever and staff does pretty much what they want. He says we are troublemakers because we want our sweet loved one taken good care ....not too Much to ask. Aide showed us the most horrid thing ever while cleaning her...all from neglect. Another aide came in and got food tray at 9pm and hid her face from camera. This is a place of a forgotten generation that no one cares about. HE WENT SO FAR AS TO CALL MY COUSIN WHO HE USED TO WORK FOR TO CALL AND TELL ME TO REMOVE THE POST. ITS THE TRUTH AND IM NOT REMOVING THE TRUTH. Dont put your loved one here.ALL OF THE REVIEWS ARE FROM THE ADMINISTRATOR , HIS WIFE AND EMPLOYEES THAT WERE TOLD TO WRITE REVIEWS AS HE WALKED DOWN EACH HALL... THEY NEED THEIR JOBS . ALL WERE DONE ABOUT THE TIME WE BEGAN COMPLAINING AND I MADE ORIGINAL POST . THE ADMINISTRATOR IS OBSCESSED WITH THE CAMERA (AND THIS POST BTW) AND WENT AND TOOK IT OUT OF HER ROOM TODAY. YOU HAVE NOTHING TO HIDE IF EVERYONE IS DOING THEIR JOB WELL.....INCLUDING ADMINISTRATOR! If it's not transparent it's not honest!!! DONT PUT YOUR LOVED ONE OR WORST ENEMY HERE! AS AN ADDED BONUS THE WE WERE TOLD THAT BY THE NURSE THAT SHE WAS TOLD BY ADMINISTRATION THAT THEY CANT TALK TO US CONCERNING OUR OWN FAMILY MEMBERS CARE....AND MIGHT I ADD WE ARE THE ONLY FAMILY MEMBERS WHO CARE FOR HER, SIT WITH HER, ,FEED HER, PURCHASES NECESSITIES, STAY WITH HER IN THE HOSPITAL AND MEET HER EVERY NEED......AND HE KNOWS IT!! ITS A BATTLE OF WILL MORE THAN WHATS RIGHT..THE PATIENT IS OF NO CONCERN TO ANYONE BUT US! MORE ABOUT A PAYCHECK THAN TRUTH AND A PERSONS LIFE IM SUPPOSING.

Experiencia negativa: Hell on earth for those patients. My mom died Jan 3 2019. We, as in my sister's and myself had to bath her. Everyday we was there from 4 to 11pm. She never got her hair washed, mouth swabbed, no insulin or breathing medicine. The nurses stayed outside smoking with the CNA's. One day I got there and the linen on the bed. Her morning nursing assistant went passed me going to clock out. But when I asked who had my mother today. She came back, because clean linen piled up in a chair and on the foot of my mothets bed, but no water or soap had touched my mother all day. CNA's never made rounds, neither the nurse. If they watched the cameras, they would see only me and my sister's went into the room. Sad place for the elderly in they last days.

I am unable to get the medical care I need. My nurses are great. And just a hand full of aids are adequate. I was doing great in meadowview in moment. But to far for mom. Wish I could say I loved it. Not.

Experiencia negativa: The only reason it has 1 star is bc that's the only way you can write. This is probably one of the worse places in Shreveport for providing for someone. The entire establishment should be closed down. They lack integrity, morals and show no compassion for their residents. I visit my mother and it requires cleaning her room most of the time, cleaning her majority of the time. I would love to just come visit but l refuse to not pay attention to the concerns of my mother. I've addressed these issues until I've gotten blue in the face and still nothing. The only reason my mother is still here is bc there aren't any other facilities in the area that accept trach patients so we have to rely on my Father that her needs are met when l can't be there. Lord help those that don't have family fighting for them.

Experiencia negativa: My father lives there and , before I put him in there were multiple people there to assist me and my brother (we were looking to place dad) up until I had to call from out of state where I reside, I called up on Friday around 2pm got in touch with my dads nurse Kiedra who left me on eternal hold , the next call was to the # on the website , spoke to LaTonya left me on hold for about 15 more minutes , but came back to say no one in management was there!!!! REALLY??? My loved one has to suffer and, neglect was probably the reason behind him going into the Hospital. Wish I had have done more research on this place. Do yours!
