Experiencia fantástica: Great place for Physical and Occupational Therapy and very kind staff and great food too! We are very thankful for this facility!

Experiencia negativa: My friend has been in this facility for a month. The staff/help is terrible. She has waited hours to get changed due to messing herself. She rings for help, it takes them 45 minutes to come in to see what she may need. Another lady in the room had a stroke and couldnt ring for help. My friend rang for help for her; it took 50 minutes before a nurse/aid to come in and change her mess. Insurance is paying money for giod care. Unfortunately, it's is the worst place to get well. I wouldn't recommend Simi Valley

Experiencia negativa: This facilty when my daughter was under their care, when my wife calls certain personnel at the office they seldom answer the calls and never return the call. When my daughter passed away the more they don't answer or call back. When we were informed to pick up here belongings... we went there but the only thing we picked up was the wheelchair but some clothes and blankets they already threw them in the trash and the person in charged of them was hiding, don't want to see us. Some room smells terrible and some residents I could hear calling the nurse but nobody go there to help.

Experiencia negativa: All the reviews that are here are over a year ago or longer, nothing resent. Don't know if ownership changed or staff changed, from the last review to this date, but I got two words to say about this Simi Care place. STAY AWAY.

Experiencia fantástica: My mom was here for care. They did a great job to get her walking again. The food i was told was not great but she was here for the care.

Experiencia positiva: It has the best nursing staff, housekeepers, and good environment.

Experiencia negativa: The staff at Simi Valley Care Center are awesome and hardworking. All the nurses, EVS, CNA’s, etc were great. Physical therapy on the other hand….most awful experience you can ever have. Absolutely no respect or patience towards the patients they are working with. They are not well trained and don’t have good experience. One of the physical therapists at this site literally yelled at my grandmother instead of helping her. Physical therapy at this site needs new management and employees. They were just full of complaints and nagging about their patients without offering any help at all. Would not recommend :/

Experiencia fantástica: Caring and welcoming staff all around. I feel my father is known and well cared for - which means the world to me. Update- my father passed away after twenty months at Simi Valley Care Center. I am forever grateful and indebted to the care they gave both him and myself over this difficult journey. Every one who cared for my father was exceptionally kind, and some of my most treasured memories from this time are the smiles and laughter the care personnel evoked from him.

Experiencia positiva: That is not your typical room! However, like all care centers, it's important to be your loved one's advocate. Scott (the Administrator) is fantastic and great with the residents.

Experiencia fantástica: Great care and great caring physical therapist.

Experiencia negativa: Horrible place, nurses take 40 minutes on average to assist your loved one. Falsely advertising in entry a CMS 5 star facility. I'm a CMS auditor so I fully read the review posted in the facility. More like a 2 star facility. Severely under staffed and the staff doesn't have English as their primary language. They get your food orders wrong and tend to lose blood work.

Experiencia fantástica: Meagan was Great she handled everything from start to finish. I had a small job on my Allergo but what I thought would take 2 days only took 1 day. Great job!. And thanks Darren for the ride home.

Experiencia fantástica: I was staying there after total hip replacement I meet the sweetest caring people there therapy for my hip was outstanding the exercise the stuff were wonderful most of the helpers were so good meet the sweetest friends there it was so hard to say goodbye gone other surgery's done so it's been hard to go back and say hi but am doing better and yes gain wight too I would love to volunteer any time our just be there to give hugs to talk to sing to play bingo to help anyone who would want it I we'll always be you're family love you all so much Marilyn jeanette obregon
