Dry needling was a mind blowing experience - within 30 minutes of leaving the office after my first visit, pain that I had carried for months at this point had vanished and stayed away. I have been in and out of physical therapy for the last 15 years due to injuries acquired during my military service (lower/upper back, hip, and shoulder issues). Prior to that I’d worked with a couple of pelvic floor physical therapists without much luck. Experiencia fantástica: My wife and I went to NW Movement and worked with Trey to prepare for a 5 day hike in Italy from Amalfi to Sorrento. I had a recent knee injury in June and the trip was at the end of Sept. We visited Trey in the middle of August. Trey was incredible. He attentively listened and examined my movements to consider the best course for improvement. We then implemented the plan over 5 weekly visits. Trey started my movements slowly, building to strength training at the end. It was a complete success. I do not believe we could have successfully completed the hike without Trey's help. At my age, 71, I thought my hiking (and skiing days,) could be over. I am now optimistically looking forward to ski season and, my wife and I are planning our next extended trek. Experiencia fantástica: Early December of 2024 I had fallen off a ladder, breaking open the skin on my right eyebrow and sustaining a concussion, breaking my right wrist and severely injuring my left wrist (previously broken and T-plate surgery around 2012 - motorcycle accident). Unable to use both of my hands for the initial month after injury, very slowly gaining strength to lift a pound or two with the fingers, I felt helpless and scared to use them. Moving the wrists after two months of minimal movement —mostly only the fingers— was painful. The fear of re-injuring them prevented me from moving towards recovery. Thank you to Trey and thank you to Amber. Trey helped me gain confidence, easing into the pain little by little. Knowing the proper movements, and trust in the process, began to take away my fear of possibly injuring them again. Within several weeks I regained significant movement and strength. Thank you to God for the way He created us. She thinks outside the box and will research your symptoms to find treatments/exercises that work for you. Experiencia fantástica: I’ve worked with Christy regularly for 3 months in preparation for my total hysterectomy as treatment for endometriosis, adenomyosis, and ovarian cysts. I started with an open mind, but even then I couldn’t imagine how much my quality of life would change for the better throughout the course of therapy. Christy is not just a knowledgeable physical therapist but has also a patient and kind cheerleader throughout this difficult process. I felt that the exercises prescribed were given at a steady, accessible pace - starting light and working with my body to minimize system overload (something I had feared going into this) and seeing the fruits of my efforts in keeping with the healing process is extremely rewarding physically, emotionally, and mentally. Having a “tool belt” of options was helpful for me in sticking with treatment and I went from having 10 low pain days a month to 20 low pain days - just by dedicating myself to the process. I was struggling with several things, including being able to step up with my right leg, diastases recti, and of course no strength or balance in my core. Experiencia fantástica: Before working with Trey at NW movement co, I wasn’t able to sleep on my right shoulder and avoided overhead movements at the gym because of shoulder pain. At the initial consult with Trey, he did a full evaluation of the motion, strength and tissue deficits of my shoulder. He then created exercises specifically to strengthen and stretch my shoulder. This being my first time as a physical therapy patient, I was a little skeptical this would take away the pain. However , after 6 sessions working with Trey ( and doing the stretches and exercises he gave me at home) I am completely pain free. Living with chronic lower back and left-side sciatica pain for nearly 20 years had left me hopeless and resigned to a life of pain in spite of numerous treatments, rounds of physical therapy and surgeries. Then I met Trey. From the very first visit I could see Trey really cared about me and my unique individual journey. We spent over 1-1/2 hour talking about my areas of pain and my goals in seeking physical therapy. Trey is highly knowledgeable in his field and you can sense how he is thinking in how to map out a treatment plan from day one. I never felt I was being plugged into a preplanned treatment with cookie cutter exercises. Prior to every session we would talk about how my body was responding to our previous session and then he'd adjust exercises as needed or move in another direction so that I was getting the most out of my treatment. Experiencia fantástica: As a cabinetmaker I have often had a sore right shoulder from pushing wood across a table saw or jointer. But this summer I really hurt it pulling our sailboat mast off the boat. The following day I could not lift my arm enough to turn on the faucet. The pain increased the day after, and for several days I could not take keys out of my pocket, pull on a t-shirt, shake someone’s hand, or raise my arm more than two inches without intense pain. The doctor determined the pain was from inflamed tendons and referred me to Trey. Trey carefully evaluated my range of motion and levels of pain and used a model to show me the reason for the pain. After working with me for about an hour, slowly stretching and rotating my arm, he gave me exercises to do at home. My hour with him improved my range of motion quite a bit, and by the next day I could raise my arm straight up without pain. I was able to return to work the next day, cutting, lifting, and assembling cabinets without pain. I even threw the football with my grandson. The speed of improvement was amazing - not the weeks or possibly months that I thought. I am grateful for Trey’s insight, careful evaluation, quiet and kind demeanor, and the unrushed hour that we worked together. He is personal, interested, undistracted, encouraging, and thoughtful. Experiencia fantástica: 9 mos. ago I had shoulder replacement surgery for my dominant arm. My goal with P.T. was to be able to swim, kayak, paddle board and maybe play Pickleball again with a reasonable amount of mobility and without pain. Trey helped me achieve those goals with his ability to tailor workouts specific to those goals and tweaking with modifications when necessary. Now I have a wide variety of exercises to do for continued stretching and strengthening of the joint. In short, Trey knows his stuff and is great to work with!

I've suffered from foot pain from flat feet my whole life, and over the last few years I've experienced recurring, compounding injuries to my feet, knees, and hamstrings. I gave up running a year ago (an extremely difficult decision for me), but eventually even going for a long walk was a source of anxiety, never knowing what might start hurting and forcing me to limp home. After multiple podiatrists, two different custom orthotics, a plethora of supportive shoes, and another physical therapist - all of whom basically told me I shouldn't run or even walk barefoot - I read about Trey and decided to give physical therapy one last go. Not only did Trey truly listen to what I had to say and took my pain and experiences seriously, he made sure I knew why I was doing each movement every session. His dedication to patient education allowed me to take my physical health into my own hands, giving me confidence to start doing all the things I love doing again. Now, I know what to do if something starts to bother me - not only how to fix it, but how to correct my movement and what to strengthen to lessen the chance of it hurting again. I've never known what it was like to not have foot pain until now! Trey is incredibly personably and passionate about what he does. And Amber at the front desk is equally as friendly and attentive. But, most importantly for me, Trey didn't tell me that my feet "just weren't made for running" - the one thing I love more than any other kind of movement. I've started running again, and I'm excited to keep working with NW Mobile PT to see just how far I can go from here. No goal, no matter how big or small, is out of reach because of pain or injury with Trey and his team on your side!
