As a 47-year-old African American man living with disabilities, it’s not often I receive care that fully honors my worth, dignity, and complexity. But at this facility, I experienced a level of compassion and clinical excellence that truly changed my life. Kelsey C., PT, and Britt G., PTA, were more than just medical professionals—they were healing partners on a journey that brought me from a place of silence, immobility, and pain… to a miraculous recovery. I began therapy unable to speak, struggling with Conversion Disorder, psychogenic seizures, post-surgical trauma, and spinal injuries. I arrived on a walker, in severe pain, uncertain about my future. Their expertise, empathy, and unwavering belief in holistic recovery—mind, body, and soul—transformed me. They didn’t just follow a treatment plan; they adapted it to my evolving needs with humility and brilliance. They listened, they learned, and most of all, they cared. Thanks to their care, I’ve regained my voice, my strength, and my confidence. I can now jog, hike, lift weights—and speak clearly and powerfully. My Graduation Day was a triumphant moment I never thought I’d see again. If you want to see what it looks like when medical professionals truly live out their mission of Compassion, Dignity, Justice, Excellence, and Integrity—look no further than Kelsey and Britt. Experiencia negativa: My doctor sent in a referral for me and it took them a month to reach out to schedule.

Experiencia negativa: Worst place to go if you really want therapy seek help else where if you miss 2 appointments even if it's not you fault they put you on hold tell someone is available to see you which is never due to fact they book out in advance. They say call everyday to get ad appointment 3 weeks later no appointments and the still holding my insurance payment hostage.

Experiencia fantástica: Absolutely great physical therapy rehab place. I was referred here because I broke my humerus and tore my tendon from my shoulder. Michael was my therapist and he was fantastic and so knowledgable about how to get my arm and shoulder healed. Very kind, helpful and fun to talk to. Everyone in the office was great, kind, friendly and helpful. I had a few other therapists when Michael was gone and they were awesome also. Clean, well kept and great office. I couldn’t even lift my arm up higher than my hips when I started and by the time I left ( took a few months because it was a super bad tear ) I could raise my arm over my head and behind my back. He worked it good to help it become strong. Thanks Michael so much ( still going strong) and everyone there for an awesome physical therapy place.

Experiencia fantástica: All of the staff I have encountered at the clinic have been professional and knowledgeable. I have appreciated all of their attentiveness and care. It would be nice if there were clocks on the walls in the rooms to track your repetitions and sets when completing exercises.

Experiencia negativa: Unprofessional, condescending, non compassionate. I felt i was treated like a object to get them paid rather than them legitimately caring about my recovery or pain. I had a few good visits in the start and then it went down hill from there. The miscommunication between the front desk and the physical therapists is a problem..billing,referral,scheduling. I communicated multiple times to my physical therapist on multiple visits that i am seeing a new doctor she never communicated that with the front desk nor my other physical therapist at that location. I went to a appointment and this visit was a horrible one. The desk acted surprised that i had a new doctor an i was told that they needed a new referral from the new doctor which I had given them the number to and told them several time to call to send notes to my doctor as well. This caused alot of stress and they acted like it was my fault for not giving them a referral when I had already communicated that I am seeing a new doctor. I was told that I had to give them the number to them again so they could call my new doctor for a referral or else I couldn't be seen. I got them the number and they got the referral. I was taken back with kelsey who I had only seen once before this. She treated me as if she didn't care anymore about the treatment she was giving. She didn't help me with the modified exercises and when I asked about them she yelled at me and told me if I don't like her treatment plan i can go to another physical therapist. I decided that was enough after the treatment ive received it wasnt helping and just caused more stress. I encourage others to not go to this place. Find a place that cares about your recovery and pain an not a place that's looking to just get paid and get the next patient in.

Experiencia fantástica: Absolutely the best outpatient physical therapy team you would want or need. I am in the 2nd week of my therapy for neck pain, which is feeling better already. The entire staff is courteous, caring, and professional. They are all on the same page in meeting my needs. I chose this place mainly because of its location on the north side where I live. I was skeptic at first because of the reviews, but decided to go and see for myself. Many of these reviews are from years back and they do not reflect my experience in the least. I am also a retired R.N., so I am more critical than most in seeking out medical professionals. If you're searching for the best Physical Therapy team, look no further than Providence St. Lukes Outpatient Physical Therapy North. They are as good as it gets❣

Experiencia negativa: Please go here if you feel like wasting your time and being treated like garbage. PT staff and Office staff full of ineptitude and incompetence. It’s worth the extra few bucks to actually receive good treatment

Experiencia fantástica: I love this place! I come here twice a week for PT and the staff is so amazing! Very kind, patient, and they have been very helpful with my recovery. Would definitely recommend this place!

Experiencia negativa: Everything was fine my first two visits. On my third visit (today), I was extremely disappointed. Social distancing in both the waiting area and the therapy area were impossible. The receptionists (both) were wearing their masks at half mast. I had never seen the therapist that was sent to treat me. She didn't know my name, only asked for the person that had an appointment at 10:15, and never bothered to ask my name. It was obvious that she had never looked at my case file and she did not even know what I was being treated for. She just plunked me down at a machine and left to work with someone else. She never spoke another word to me. At this point I no longer felt safe, I felt that the pandemic was not taken seriously, and that the therapist was incapable of treating me and might actually cause me harm, so I went to the front desk and said something. I was asked to talk with the "manager" who, after hearing my concerns, just answered with "I'm sorry you feel that way". I have filed a formal complaint with St. Lukes main administration. I will not be returning to that office and would not recommend being treated at this location. I cannot speak to their other locations, but the behavior of the staff and the treatment of patients at this location is very unprofessional and bordering on dangerous, in my opinion.

She is kind and caring and radiates care, concern and empathy for ea of her clients

Experiencia negativa: I'm writing this review as a person whose utilized the Cowley location (so far I'd highly recommend that location over this one, Cowley 5 starts! As far as customer service and therapists). I'm a new patient here at this location and the front desk lady was extremely rude to me. I haven't been seen yet so I have no knowledge of the therapists, but as the front face of the buisness you'd think you would have more professional, pleasant, welcoming, desk attendants. Both the woman and man working up front continuesly smack talked patents as they left the office. The woman was extremely caddy, short, and down right mean hearted about patent concerns and questions too their face and behind their back as they left. She didn't seem to do much work at all actually. I didn't know you could get paid to trash talk and banter for an hour straight that I sat and had the opportunity to listen.. Sad.

Experiencia negativa: Very unprofessional attitude. I showed up ten minutes early for a 9:00 a.m. appointment to fill out paperwork since i am a new patient. At 9:30 a.m. I told the receptionist, Hannah, to have the scheduler call me when they can get me on time. I called to cancel a future appointment and was told that i would need to call my doctor for another referral. Since I left, they called me a "no show". I waited 40 minutes and I was a "no show". That is insulting to ALL of the patients. Our time is valuable too. As a patient, we are forced to sign a document stating that if we don't give them 24 hour for a cancellation, they would bill us. While filling out my paperwork for my appointment, I listened to the scheduler call at least three patients wanting to change their schedules for that day because one of technicians "had something come up". Very unprofessional to have to sit and listen to it not to mention hypocritical. My doctor referred me to this office based on hearsay. By his own admission, he knew nothing about the office but had been told by St. Lukes Rehabilitation Institute that they had a good success rate. I will never know. I will let my referring doctor know about my experience and i will have him send me somewhere else. Ask your doctor for a referral to another physical therapy office. This organization is a black eye on the Providence group.
