Experiencia fantástica: Excellent service great customer service I must say. I injured my Achilles’ tendon in the month of May of last year . And since then I went down hill . A lot of inflammation on my foot . I began having a burning sensation on my feet and hands . A lot of muscle aching on my feet . Notice I could not wear shoes . Went to different specialist , orthopedics, neurologist, physical therapist, doctors and many testing . Was told I had plantar fasciitis, neuropathy and Achilles tendinitis.. No one knew what was going on went on natural remedies . And that got rid of the burning and tingling and some of inflammation went down. . I ended up seen also natural doctor and also a holistic chiropractor which was helpful . Later on I was told by a lady in church to go check myself at vascular . And there I was able to find out what was really happening. I injured my tendon and that flamed up everything on my feet and legs . Found out I had Venus insufficiency. Had surgery and decided it was time to find a good physical therapist . Is been 10 weeks since I had my surgery for the right leg. I was walking very stiff and my Achilles’ tendon was still aching . I could barely bend my knee. And is been 5 sessions of physical therapy but is been worth it . I notice I am able to bend my knee . And I notice I am walking better and not limping too much .Even my husband notice the difference. I don’t feel stiffness as before . And a lot of the inflammation in my leg and foot has gone down . I know I have my next surgery for my leg coming up . But once I’m recovering I do plan to return to physical therapy . Is been very helpful . Yes I admit there is pain . But like my husband and you all say , I have to press through that pain and persevere if I want to be able to walk/jog like I use too .. God is good that I found this place . The staff are awesome .Thank you Becky , Jorge and also the intern you have .. you have been great . And have some very nice secretaries at the front door who are very helpful as well .. Experiencia fantástica: I am beyond thankful for the level of care I received at Professional Physical Therapy during my 3.5 months of rehabilitation. Both Tina and Roger played a huge role in not only my initial diagnosis but my recovery post surgery. Although I bounced between both therapist they never made me feel as though they weren't communicating with each other about my current status. They both genuinely cared about how I was feeling pre and post exercise and adjusted my program as needed. As a very active individual, I was devastated post surgery, I wasn't sure if I would make a full recovery. Tina and Roger made sure they took the time to coach me and provided me with the best care. I can honestly go on and on about both of them. I recovered quickly and I am ecstatic to be so close to 100% in such a short time. I am back to doing what I love because of their amazing skills and knowledge as physical therapist. So, if you're looking for a clinic that will treat your injury as a whole and and not just your injured body part, then Professional Physical Therapy is the place to go!

Experiencia fantástica: I just finished my physical therapy here and after two months at twice a week i feel so rejuvenated. The numbness from my elbow to my hand is completely gone and my back pain has been released. My back has such better movement and the staff is so welcoming and caring. They remember you and really cater to your needs and make you feel at home. Colleen was an amazing physical therapist and she really worked the manual part very well with my back pain. She was so kind and took care of all of my concerns to the fullest extent. Tina also helped me a lot when it came to the manual healing. They really know what they are doing 100%. Also, all other staff knew what exercises to work my back and arm and help my pain and heal me. It was scheduled well, and they worked with my schedule, and from the receptionists to the therapists, everyone was so kind and knowledgeable of the work. EVERYONE there, from the minute I called and made my first appointment until the day I graduated, was super nice and helpful. Once I graduated they didn't just drop me, they gave me exercises for home, and are there for me with any questions. As their name states, they are Professional!!

I like the fact that everybody in the office is always willing to help you with your exercises and answer your questions. Its a shame I have to get hurt to hang out there. Experiencia fantástica: Eight weeks ago, I had debilitating pain in my lower back that kept me from playing golf, my favorite sport. The therapists at Professional Physical Therapy - Colleen, Tina, Brandon and Maria - quickly diagnosed my issues and treated me with stretching and strengthening exercises that addressed my pain. Thanks to them, I'm back on the golf course, and have a home program of exercises that will keep me there. The therapists are not only very competent, but are personable and express their care for you as an individual. I highly recommend them.

Experiencia fantástica: I went to Professional PT in Springfield for a frozen shoulder and worked with Roger to reduce the pain and stiffness. After a few visits over a month, the pain has been eliminated and I have the range of motion I had previously. They were very skilled, friendly and took pride in their profession. Experiencia fantástica: After fracturing my patella, I needed some local PT and I chose Professional (formerly ProEx). I couldn't have had a better experience. Tina worked out a treatment plan for me, explaining everything - showing clear knowledge of the bones, muscles, tendons, etc. She and Roger and the others were wonderful to me, even the receptionists. They made me feel comfortable and very confident in their ability to help me, which they did, and quickly. They were all right on top of my injury and what it took to get me back up and running very quickly. I guess there's no better testimonial than the shock of my surgeon when he saw me and saw how well I was doing. To everything he asked if I was able to do yet, I replied "yes" and really he was so pleasantly surprised he asked for some business cards so he could refer others to Professional (formerly ProEx). I will miss the friendly and professional staff... they made it fun.. they worked together.. there was comraderie.. If I had to go to PT, I couldn't have picked a better place. Thanks to all of you. Experiencia fantástica: I had the opportunity to establish care with ProEx Physical Therapy. As soon as you walk in, you get a warm welcome from the front end staff. I got to work with Roger who was very professional and passionate about his job. He knows what he is doing and was able to repair my injuries. I feel great and I will continue the work out he has taught me. I also had the opportunity to work with the other staff members (Josh, Dean, Nayda, Cassie and Brandon) who was great in helping me improve my mobility as well. Experiencia fantástica: ProEx physical therapy is by far the best physical therapy clinic I have ever been to. After being in a cast for 3 months post op, my ankle was definitely ready to start moving again. When I first walked through the doors of ProEx I could not walk and could barely put any weight on my operative limb. This soon changed, ProEx got me up and moving in a few short months. As time went on my therapy sessions progressed and I soon was back to jumping and finally returned to the sport that I love, diving. The entire staff was so friendly and truly cared about me and my progress on the road to recovery. My physical therapist Brian Wentworth went well above and beyond my expectations. Not only did he basically teach me how to walk again after two significant ankle surgeries, he assured me that I would return to my sport and life better than ever after he was finished working with me. Going to PT sessions did not feel like a burden. The entire ProEx staff took the time to get to know me and not just my ankle. Not only did I attend the Springfield, Ma location, I attended the Farmington, Ct location as well. Both clinics were exactly the same and welcomed me with open arms and reassured me of a bright future. I went to another physical therapy clinic before I had my surgery, strictly to avoid having surgery and ended up needing it. This was a little bit devastating but as soon as I attended PT again to strengthen my ankle, I knew that my ankle pain was finally coming to an end. While the other clinic was ok, I never felt like I made a connection with the staff like the one I have at ProEx. The environment was more clinical and detached versus the welcoming and supportive experience at ProEx. I am currently going to school to possibly pursue a career in Physical Therapy myself and my experience at ProEx strengthened my desire to want to go into this field of study. Thank you Brian and everyone at ProEx for setting me back on the right foot!

Experiencia fantástica: Thank You Thank You !!! Roger and staff are awesome. This is the best I have felt in two and half years. I had limited mobility of my leg and constantly had tight painful spasms in and around the inner thigh. I thought this was a muscle pull from hip rotating back (from Xrays and chiropractor input). It was difficult to walk and generally hurt 80 percent of the time unless I was constantly stretching , foam rolling and using trigger point therapy to get by. I have a trainer at the gym and we changed my workouts to accommodate this but after 6 months and gaining some flexibility, this would last only a day or so. I went to ProEx because I heard good things about Roger from my trainer. Prior XRays had shown some structural arthritic lesions in the hip socket and while this contributed to the stiffness, Roger believed the majority of it was from soft tissue; not muscles, but tight ligaments. These are extremely hard to isolate, sense and stretch. But after reducating some neuromuscular connections, and two treatments, I walked 2 miles and 4 miles on consecutive days- pain free, whereas I couldn't walk more than a few blocks comfortably beforehand. ProEx used advance techniques to increase mobility in my hip capsule and I learned how the spasms and pain were being generated from my back and not the leg muscles themselves. I had been to PT elsewhere 4 times over the past 25 years for back discomfort. While all was helpful, my experience with ProEx was much more articulated and their approach was more acute. I learned much more about how my body articulates and how to self manage my situation. After 5 weeks of PT with Roger, I am a renewed person with hope, and no longer believe I am destined for a hip resurfacing surgery. I highly recommend ProEx as they take time, are flexible (no pun intended) educate and work collaboratively with you in an individualized plan that got results. I also want to thank Eric who came out from eastern MA occasionally to work with Roger. Together, their meeting of the minds helped solve my puzzle. Thank you ProEx and especially Roger for giving me back my health!

Experiencia fantástica: Going to ProEx Physical Therapy was the best decision I could have made. The second I walked into the office for the first time, everyone was extremely welcoming and kind. My physical therapist (Brian), was amazing! I walked into ProEx the first day with an ankle that couldn’t run for more than a mile without rolling, swelling up, or causing me serious pain. By the end of my time at physical therapy, I was back to my normal self. No more aches and pains for me! At ProEx PT, the therapist there make you feel at home. They genuinely care about your life both inside, and outside of physical therapy. If I ever need physical therapy again, you’ll find me here. Highly recommend.

Experiencia fantástica: I graduated from physical therapy back in December of 2017. I went into ProEx walking with a cane and now I could run if I needed to. Those who know me well know that I wouldn’t choose to run however . It was bittersweet leaving pt. The staff at ProEx became like family. Special thanks to the best physical therapist in the world, Colleen Haley-Calvanese. I wouldn’t be where I am today physically if you didn’t push me and encourage me. If you need physical therapy, I highly recommend ProEx on Columbus Avenue near the Basketball Hall of Fame.

Experiencia fantástica: Just over 7 weeks ago, I could barely walk after a slipped disc. Now I've joined a gym and feel amazing and strong. Roger St. Onge at ProEx was my PT and he was phenomenal. Roger is patient, kind, smart (super knowledgeable) and funny, I actually looked forward to going 3x a week. All the PTs and the PTAs were fabulous. (special shout out to Brendan). If you want the best, then I highly recommend ProEx.

Experiencia fantástica: I went to ProEx for physical therapy for 8-9 weeks. They were great. They did their best, but my nerve in my back couldn't be fixed. They did decrease the pain in my calf though. I would recommend this place to friends. People there were great. Only problem I had was the darn bridge and casino construction around the office.

Experiencia fantástica: ProEx was a life changer! I was skeptical that physical therapy would help my back issues but boy I was wrong. Roger was fantastic. With his help I was able to get rid of the pain and get me back to running. I was able to complete my first ever half-marathon pain free. Thank you guys so much for getting me back to running.

Experiencia fantástica: I had seen Colleen a few times for some tailbone issues. Then I had to have a very involved ankle surgery (6 month total recovery time). I could have gone to PT less than 10 minutes from my house and instead chose to drive 30-35 minutes to Spfld, in the crazy construction zone, to go to ProEx. Why? Because they are THAT good. I have spent a lot of time in PT for various reasons prior to coming to ProEx and ProEx is very different than any other place I have been to. It's not a factory environment where you are doing the same thing as everyone else who has your particular problem. I would be so bored at other places and I sometimes found that the actual physical therapist would sometimes not even interact with me. At ProEx I always interacted with my PT, even when I became much more independent. I really liked how I was always being reassessed and that the plan in place didn't always have to be the plan that was followed if I was having a bad day with either my ankle or my other health issues. That was super important to me and honestly, kept me coming back and compliant. Colleen was my therapist and she was fantastic. I was a bit skeptical when she pulled out a blood pressure cuff and inflated it to get me started on putting a little bit of weight on my foot, but it worked! I also saw Brian a few times and Roger once. They all are definitely an asset to the organization. They always went up and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and they were invested in me as a person, not just as someone with an ankle issue. That makes a huge difference when you are struggling to heal and are as compromised as I was in regards to my mobility. I also found the support staff excellent as well. Everybody is super friendly and are invested in the patient's success. I particularly like how they treat the patient as a whole and not just as a physical problem to be fixed. I could definitely tell that the staff were not only up-to-date on their physical therapy knowledge but also very educated about other issues pertaining to healing, such as nutrition. I do have feedback to give in regards to the facility itself. I did address it with Colleen and she passed on my concerns when I first brought them up in August. The sidewalk outside the door needs repair. It can be a tripping/safety hazard to people with mobility issues, especially for elderly folks who may have vision issues. Also, both doors need to be automatic doors. I had to come on a walker for a while, by myself, and it was very difficult to manage those heavy doors on one foot. I will say that once I mentioned it to the staff, they always assisted me with getting in and out. But a PT place should have automatic doors for the safety and convenience of its patients. I saw my surgeon a few days ago. She was surprised, given my other medical issues, how well I was doing. I give credit to not only the surgeon and myself, but also to ProEx for getting me through such a difficult time and for getting me back on two feet, pain-free. Thank you!

Colleen, Roger and the rest of the staff worked with me to bring me back to the point where I can play golf again and do many other activities I thought were lost to me. They were wonderful !!!! Experiencia positiva: All the employees at ProEx are very friendly and put you a ease from the moment you arrive. Based on your pain and discomfort, the therapist will tailor specific exercises that will be instrumental to your full recovery. They also check with you periodically throughout your workout to be insure you are doing okay. They are very much engaged in the entire process. I would recommend ProEx to all my friends and family! Experiencia fantástica: If you're looking for effective (but flexible) treatment, friendly and understanding staff, and extended hours, then this is the place for you! I have been to PT for a variety of issues over the years. I must confess that I am a pretty lazy person, and am never enthusiastic about the idea of physical activity. However, the staff at ProEx (particularly Brian Wentworth, who was my particular PT) made the experience pretty fun -- I actually looked forward to it most of the time! (The exception being on sunny days when I really just wanted to be outside.) And Brian made a strong case for buckling down to improve my future health, but without being over the top about it, which I appreciated. Brian also made sure to be realistic about the level of exercise I was going to do at home while still firmly pushing me to improve. (I've had PTs in the past who assigned an absurd number of exercises, which led to me just giving up.) The exercises assigned were very effective but time-efficient, which means that I actually DO them. Because he worked WITH me instead of trying to make me feel bad or guilt trip me, I improved pretty quickly and now have a plan that I will actually use! PS: I will also note that although *I* am a lazy person, I also saw a large number of athletes who receive their treatment at ProEx. Brian and the other PTs always adjusted their treatment plans for each person's individual levels of readiness and motivation! The facility has a wide range of specialized equipment and gym equipment (moreso that I ever saw at previous PT places) and every patient receives a significant amount of 1-on-1 attention.

Experiencia fantástica: So today I graduated from physical therapy :) Bitter sweet. Did therapy at pro ex out in Spfld, Ma for a couple weeks and was treated and given outstanding services by this amazing therapist by the name of Brian Wentworth . Every week he challenged my physical abilities to work on my strength and rehabilitation on my (L) shoulder and hip flexors. A lot better from where I started with my mobility and strength and must say I'm truly thankful for this awesome team at Pro ex. From my previous experience with physical therapy at other facilities , this facility (Pro Ex) truly worked hard to give me amazing service! And let me not forget I've always felt so welcomed and feel like I've gained family!! Thank you Brian for everything!!!

Experiencia fantástica: ProEx is by far the best physical therapy place around! I would highly recommend their services to anyone of all ages, injuries and situations for their recovery and rehabilitation. I have been in and out of numerous PT places in the area and they all fall short of the service one gets at ProEX. They truly go above and beyond to understand your situation and are able to teach it back to you in laymans terms. I found all the professionals to be very highly trained and always ready to help break down concepts so you could readily understand. The facility is wonderful and is looks a full service gym. It doesn’t look like your run of the mill physical therapy place. The gym setting really puts you in the motivated mindset, too. This also reflects the approach of ProEx to go beyond the standard and stereotypical stretching and motions other PT places do. I also found the training and rehab here to be more focused and specialized. Every session was different and challenging. Further, there is more focused 1:1 training than other PT places I’ve been to where you’re one of many patients. I thought that was the most defining feature of ProEx and truly sets them apart from the competition. I’ve had two friends who have been to ProEx and they all agree. I also found that the staff worked well with flexible schedules and were very knowledgeable about how insurance worked and covered many things. They were also capable of switching my diagnosis without the hassle of going to a doctor again. Best of luck to your at ProEx and know that you’ll be in the best hands around!

Experiencia fantástica: I was sent to ProEx PT after a car accident. The staff made me feel apart of the family and had a sincere interest in improving my health. I would recommend this place for anyone who needs PT because you will feel like you've gained family and your health back when finished.

Experiencia fantástica: Where do I start? Best place I experienced no debate. Very great staff that are very welcoming as soon as I come in. They're very professional in a very good manner making every patient their priority. They're very passionate of how each and every person feels and what they're experiencing. Roger is the best physical therapist you will have and a pretty lady that works at the desk basically everyday. I highly recommend this place if you ever need PT.

Experiencia fantástica: So I've been to a couple different Physical Therapy places due to broken wrists and legs and had given up on them when it came to my shoulder i skipped it. But recently I had injured my back at work and was to start physical therapy to begin my healing process. needless to say I was not thrilled but it is workers comp and I needed to follow it. And i was glad I did Thanks to Colleen, Brian, Nate, Bri, Neda, Idialit, Laurel, Deb, and Mike I can see now what physical therapy if done the right way can be a world of help in the road to recovery. At Pro-ex you feel at home you can always ask questions and bother them as much as you need to make sure you are getting the help you to get your body back to normal. And for me I have never been in such great shape. I've recommended my girlfriend to get evaluated for her back issues and instead of making a plan for her to return Colleen recommended for her to see a specialist before any therapy is started to make sure it is safe to do so. Which shows they care about people and not how many times they come in. So in closing I am always recommending people that need help with pain or need to go to Physical therapy to see the amazing people at Pro-ex.

Experiencia fantástica: These people are the best. I treated here in 2009 soon after they opened the Springfield office. I recently treated with them again. Many of the same patient centered focused staff was present. From the moment you enter, the staff makes you feel welcome. The therapists explain your treatment protocol to you in detail so that you fully understand what you are doing and why you are doing it. They also take the time to understand your goals and help you help you obtain them.

They go beyond their way to make you feel at home, providing a very trustworthy environment, and always making sure I'm getting the correct treatment. The staff are absolutely wonderful. Experiencia fantástica: When I arrived I was greeted by several staff. My therapist came out to greet me as well. I filled out the necessary paperwork and was then brought in to the workout area. I was examined again and was given an explanation of the plan for my therapy. This was explained in a way I fully understood and agreed with. I was treated with respect and everyone was friendly and professional. I wasn't pushed but was encouraged to do the best I could. I felt very much at ease and would highly recommend this facility to anyone who needs care.

Experiencia fantástica: Proex is an absolutely amazing place to have all your physical therapy needs met. I was there for my first time in January of 2015 and the staff was great, the treatment was great and the working environment was just very welcoming as well as encouraging. The therapists really want to see you get better and they challenge you to do your best and to do your part throughout the course of your treatment. I got into a car accident the middle of November 2015 and my lawyer told me that I had to return to physical therapy, my first thought was to return to Proex. If it so happens that I have anymore physical therapy needs (God forbid), I will be contacting Proex to get my treatment once again. From the therapists to the receptionists to the exercises to the environment, it really is a great place to get the best treatment possible in this area.

Experiencia fantástica: I hurt my lower back at work, and was referred to ProEx. I immediately felt very comfortable with all of the staff. My main PT was Colleen, and she was great! She was very knowledgeable and easy to work with. She knew when to push me, and when to take it easy. I also worked with Kristen, Laurel, Roger, and Nate. They were all terrific, and made my time in PT enjoyable. The facility was always clean and sanitary. After my month of therapy, my back feels great, and I am back to work full time. I would hope that I never need PT ever again, but if I do, I would go right back to ProEx. I would highly recommend ProEx to everyone!

Experiencia positiva: I have shadowed here and enjoyed the experience, but as of recent I have injured my knee. From all my experience thus far...the staff here has been REALLY nice. Have a coffee and or a water while you wait, which wont be long. The staff is bilingual (spanish/english) and can accommodate most people. While it is a smaller building, they get done what you need to get done. I love the fact that there is always people around you working out in a similar situation...everyone has pain they experiencing, but the common bond you share with everyone is great. There is always a big TV on so you can watch while you are doing your Physical therapy work out. The staff makes sure that everything is clean and sanitized and the building is in very nice condition. They all put forth a great effort, and if you want a clear defintion or explanation...there is always someone there to give it to you.
