I had been having pain for over seven years and had previously seen two other providers for physical therapy with no major improvement or diagnosis, and had maxed out my insurance coverage for PT sessions. Na'Kea was able to identify and describe the problem (scapular winging) from the very first session, and give me exercises and stretches to help fix it. I'm feeling so much better and stronger because of her!

Experiencia fantástica: I started seeing Dr. Na’Kea for shoulder pain in both shoulders and tingling in my fingers. I have been going to her for a month now and the tingling is almost gone. My left shoulder is almost back to normal and my right shoulder is well on its way to being fully functional. She has been doing a combination of needling (I think that’s the name of it). Basically she sticks tiny needles in my muscles hooked up to electrodes. It’s amazing!!! She also has done the ultrasound treatment as well. I can always tell a difference about 2 hours after the treatments. She also has given me stretches and exercises to practice in between treatments. To help correct and strengthen my body. I highly recommend them and what they do.

Experiencia fantástica: After suffering with plantar fasciitis for nearly a year and trying to replace shoes and inserts with no relief, I found 417 Performance Chiro and Na’Kea when looking at shock wave/soft wave treatment. Na’Kea is very knowledgeable and helpful in at home exercises to build knowledge and help relieve the pain. After discussing my plantar fasciitis, she helped me discover that it was caused by my tight calves and weak lower back. Na’Kea is able to do dry needling, adjust my back, shock wave as well as walk me through exercises to do at home in between treatments. I have re-learned so much with core strength and deep belly breathing that I either never knew or have forgotten. Online booking makes it so convenient for booking future appointments while at home as well. Na’Kea is able to adjust my treatments to my needs at the time and I am so glad that a google search for “shock wave/soft wave brought me to them! Highly recommend. I am feeling so much better in my foot/calf and back. Some days I have more than one issue!

The treatment was a series of multiple weeks that created a focused plan rather than a quick appointment to fix the immediate pain. I was provided with movements to do on my own time to strengthen muscles to support my pain points. 6 weeks later and I can play a full round with little to no pain and my handicap has steadily went down due to being able to have the same swing at the beginning and the end of the round. In the first session he identified areas of inflammation in my facet joints and gave me some exercises that immediately alleviated my back pain. In subsequent sessions he’s been teaching me a lot of small changes that make a huge difference, like using breathing and diaphragm to create lower back support, while steadily escalating my treatment to exercises that build strength in weaker areas of my hips, back and abdominals. He continuously found new ways to help treat my pain and made a point to share exercises, tools, etc. that I could use at home to help me more independent. He used dry needling, active release techniques, Graston, Kinesotape, and physical therapy rehab exercises to make my life less painful and allow me to get back to my normal routine. I had a lower back injury from playing soccer that I had been dealing with for several years and had tried a few different methods to fix it - yoga, physical therapy, Chiro. All of which kind of worked individually in the short term but I kept reinjuring myself. I honestly thought that it would be a chronic thing that I would just have to deal with. Cole's approach of mixing chiropractic with rehab is exactly what I needed. He took his time to really understand what my problem was, gave a detailed explanation of what was causing it, and gave me a structured exercise program that I could also do at home. The back adjustments and massages were great in dealing with my pain, then his recommended exercises is what kept me from re-injuring it. He is also great at dry needling -- I never knew what dry needling was and I, admittedly, was nervous when he first told me about it. But Cole did a great job explaining the benefits and never pushed it. It was through my own research which made me eventually try it. And ultimately, it did help accelerate my recovery. I appreciated his patience and the fact that he didn't push anything. I've already recommended Cole to everyone I know dealing with pain and will continue to do so.

I made an appointment with Cole right away and we got to work. Cole treated me with dry needling, Graston therapy, adjustments, and exercises that I could implement from home and in the gym. Cole is a wealth of knowledge. He takes the time to truly figure out what is going on, what the cause is, and then takes the most effective approach to treatment.
