Experiencia fantástica: I've never been to physical therapy before and due to the nature of my surgery it was a about 4 months of therapy. I was skeptical at first but the staff here was very kind and knowledgeable. I'm getting closer to where I need to be physically. The goals I set at the beginning of the therapy were met. Experiencia fantástica: I did my physical therapy at HQPT and would give them a 5 star rating. I've never had physical therapy with such personal service. Everybody was always smiling, extremely helpful and friendly. I wish I could say that I won't be back but this old train just seems to be needing new parts at a rapid pace, so the next part that needs replacement I have no doubt that HQPT is where I'll go to get back on the road.

Experiencia negativa: My therapy went well however, before I went back to my foot doctor I had to retake the first test I had done the first day to see the improvement. However, being that I went through a shattered ankle being in recovery I couldn’t use pain medication, so I scored worse. It seemed to have been suspicious to the therapist. When asked why I scored lower, I replied “excruciating pain.” So I asked for restriction when returning to work since I stand for 10 hours a day building one car after another. But no, apparently just too much to ask. Not entirely sure what consequences the therapist would have had to allow me have some time restrictions for a month. Funniest part, I fractured it immediately returning to work and continued to work on it for a month. Thanks Doc! It still has pain, it’s not the same, definitely wouldn’t go back here. . You’re right it was two and half year years ago. And it’s still in pain. I know you can’t give me the restrictions, you can recommend which was too much to ask. Instead I got to feel embarrassed for having you think I was somehow deceiving you. I’m not discouraging anyone from coming here, knock yourself out. Take me off your email list.

It took longer than normal to get me back to normal, but Julie got my therapy extended from my Dr so I was at a point where my arm was at a standard she liked. Highly recommend this place!

I was told that the recovery and rehab would be extensive and long to say the least. I was not looking forward to it, Matt, the owner and head therapist was recommended to me by a fellow colleague. Who’s location was closer to my house. from the very first day of entry, the staff was absolutely amazing Julie at the front desk is very personable and always eager to help with any invoice billing or scheduling questions. They are very flexible and aim to satisfy the customer. Matt’s knowledge and the ability he has to get you mobile is unreal. I left there daily feeling progress. I cannot thank you enough Matt. I also want to recognize the PT tech that are there to help you in your daily exercises after the stretch with Matt. Brandon and Gabby you guys are awesome and you make the time fly While getting in the work out. I don’t see my coaching career ending anytime soon, so if I ever need assistance, I definitely know where I will be going. Just hopefully not too soon. No offense guys.!!!

Experiencia fantástica: I went into Pt for a shoulder injury that had been bothering me for 2 years. I could not finish an upper body workout in the gym without my shoulder popping and hurting. I went in and worked with Matt and Julie for 6 weeks. After the six weeks I could finally live a normal live with a well functioning shoulder. After another 4 weeks, I was in the gym lifting without pain and restriction. The service that was provided by Matt and Julie was exceptional and I would not be back living an athletic lifestyle without their help and expertise! Thank you Matt and Julie!

Experiencia fantástica: I went to Health Quest Physical Therapy after having rotator cuff surgery on my left shoulder. Matt evaluated me and talked to me about what my therapy would look like and also that he wanted to be gentle and not cause pain during the exercises. Many times, He, Brandon, and Gabby asked if I needed an ice pack, and I never did because the exercises were gentle. Jenny was very accommodating when I needed to change a time because of unforeseen health issues. Brandon and Gabby helped me with the equipment, so I didn't have to adjust it for my petite size. They also told me if I wasn't quite doing the exercise correctly to ensure the muscles were getting the most benefit. They all were friendly and willing to listen to any of my concerns. I would recommend Health Quest Physical Therapy to anyone.

She orchestrated a painless regiment of stretches and strengthening exercises that I could also do at home every day. My back now feels good, with 90% function in just over 4 weeks! They are so professional, concerned and carrying for their patients. They have a wide range of appointment availability, which was key for me because of my fluctuating job. Experiencia fantástica: Matt Likens and staff are awesome! I have had several injuries/chronic issues and Matt has been able to rid me of pain each time. Only physical therapists provide treatment; not PTAs or techs. Instead of hooking me to a traction machine and moving on, Matt provided manual traction, personalized treatment and education. I’ve also found that Matt only provides necessary treatment; no more and no less. In other words, it’s not a money grab. Instead, he provides the amount and length of treatment that is appropriate for the given injury/illness. Matt and his staff are friendly and make treatment easy, interesting and fun. I highly recommend him and his staff!!

Health Quest is a great company to go to especially if you have to go to a Thera Matrix approved company. They were very welcoming staffed appropriately for the amount of client's they are taking care of. The clinic was very clean and updated, the staff was pleasant, helpful and thorough. Answered all my questions and took care of dealing with the Insurance company. Was able to get the time slot with in a time frame I could work with. Julie my therapist and Brandon the assistant was so helpful. Julie gave me stretches and exercises that were realistic to do and in comfort of my home. Brandon would help make sure i did the exercises right after given instructions and shown how to do the movement. When my 6 weeks were done I felt better and comfortable keeping up the exercises at home. l plan to use the gym there for a month to keep up my hard work so my pain does not come back.

I was expecting the usual ‘standard formula’ exercises and treatments, but Matt initiated a call to the referring doctor to discuss strategies to get my son stronger and back in the game. He followed up with an additional doctor conversation to adjust the plan as he saw how my son progressed. I and other family members have had physical therapy experiences before, but I have never worked with a therapist who was willing to take the time to speak with the doctor to ensure that the program was customized for us. Matt Likins is extraordinarily dedicated to helping people recover via a truly individualized physical therapy plan.

The staff is pleasant and friendly and they make every effort to accommodate any special needs and some "not-so-special" ones. This is my second referral, first a shoulder and now a neck injury. I'm very pleased with the outcome.

Experiencia fantástica: I started going to HealthQuest PT when they were 1st Choice PT probably 8-9 yrs ago. I’ve many physical issues, I’ve had many spine surgeries, hip and 2 knee replacements, and then some. Because of these issues, I’ve experience with many PT clinics, most are a dime a dozen, I feel. When I found 1st Choice, I went into the clinic to talk to a therapist. The person I spoke with was one of Matt’s partners, we talked and I decided to give them a try. I’m glad I did. I started with that individual. Shortly after Julie was hired, my therapist had left and I continued with Julie, Matt was at another 1st Choice clinic at the time. Julie is a very warm and caring person who loves what she does, you can just tell. I also had the pleasure of meeting and working with Matt in Julie’s absence. Matt loves what he does too and he too is a very caring and passionate person. They both are more than qualified in their field. The new clinic, HealthQuest is much larger, still clean, lots of new modern equipment, and still a very friendly and professional atmosphere, as soon as you walk in you’re greeted with a friendly staff. I like the idea of when I go to PT, I know who I’m going to be working with, unlike other clinics you’d typically get a different PTA, after an initial evaluation by a PT, this isn’t as personal as what HealthQuest offers, you’ll get a PT, and you’ll work with that PT until discharged, that means a lot to me. Julie knows my needs more than Matt because she’s worked with me more. I’ve absolutely no problem if I see Julie or Matt. This time I had a total knee replacement on 7/11, my last day of PT was 8/30, 2 wks early. I’ve probably been a patient there 10-12 times and I’ve ALWAYS had a good end result. I won’t go anywhere else. If you choose HealthQuest for your PT needs, you won’t be sorry and you’ll end up with a positive result, if possible.

I came to see Matt after a knee surgery, i’m in the military and had a lot of anxiety regarding the outlook of my physical abilities. Matt calmed my nerves, and then pushed me everyday. From the start, staff has always been friendly and attentive. My work schedule is very difficult and they have always been able to accommodate my appointments. Even if that meant a last minute 7 pm appointment. The place is always clean and organized. Matt is an excellent physical therapist. He does a very thorough job on the initial consultation. Will explain his plan of care in great detail. He is up to date with the current practices and would explain his reasoning behind the exercises. To me, that was very refreshing and also made me trust him with my care. My back is pretty much back to normal and no longer require PT. If I ever do need it again, I would definitely come back to HealthQuest. I highly recommended it!

Experiencia fantástica: First time having to go to physical therapy. I am so grateful I have the coverage also. Health Quest is a great company to go to especially if you have to go to a Thera Matrix approved company. They were very welcoming staffed appropriately for the amount of client's they are taking care of. The clinic was very clean and updated, the staff was pleasant, helpful and thorough. Answered all my questions and took care of dealing with the Insurance company. Was able to get the time slot with in a time frame I could work with. Julie my therapist and Brandon the assistant was so helpful. Julie gave me stretches and exercises that were realistic to do and in comfort of my home. Brandon would help make sure i did the exercises right after given instructions and shown how to do the movement. When my 6 weeks were done I felt better and comfortable keeping up the exercises at home. l plan to use the gym there for a month to keep up my hard work so my pain does not come back.

Experiencia fantástica: It’s been about three year’s since i started coming to first choice which is now called HealthQuest am not the kind of person who likes to write reviews. But with my experience for all this time I been coming here for different health issues. It was time to write my review I been to many different physical therapy facilities in the past. and sadly none of them helped me with my issues. to the point the day of my appointment I would be dragging myself to go hoping I will feel better but never saw any good results. and some of them I didn’t even finished my sessions with them the therapist works on me for 10 minutes Then someone else make me do all kind of stretching and exercises. with my condition I knew myself this wasn’t enough I needed more Hand Therapy . Then I started having neck and shoulders issues. my Doctor suggested First choice and I said oh no here we go again. But I was in a lot of pain and I had no choice but to try my luck this time. The moment I walked to first choice and met the staff they were very friendly the place was very clean , atmosphere was very relaxing It’s like your in a Spa/therapy am not kidding right away I felt happy and I said wow this seems different from all places I been to. Now comes the main part in my review It’s about my therapist Matt He is the most knowledgeable, kind ,patience, caring, intelligent and respectful therapist I have ever met. You walk in with pain and when you leave he gives you this positive energy to have hope that you will feel better and your condition hopefully will improve . Matt treat’s and takes care of his patients very fairly He spends very good time listening to your condition he explains treatment very clearly and gives good advices I highly recommend HealthQuest and especially This location in Sterling Heights.
