Experiencia fantástica: My PT with the Surprise, AZ Athletico clinic was beyond amazing! The staff is completely tuned into providing total patient treatment! They provided their focus on my prescribed therapy for pain relief and healing, keeping a pace that was both comfortable and successful! I can’t say enough about the location’s PT Mike, who always greets and welcomes every client, and follows through to instruct his PTA’s to assist as needed! His knowledge of the body mechanics and therapy for advancing treatment was beyond anything I had experienced before! He and PTA Amy, who was also incredibly helpful, always willing to listen, and be innovative with tools and her skills! The occasional assisting from PTA Kyla and Sterling was also helpful, and again, all were in sync from start to end! Nicole, the admin assist/receptionist was equally wonderful and pleasant, always a delight! I appreciate them all, and would highly recommend their services in this clean and efficient location to anyone seeking advanced improvement in their healing journeys!!

Experiencia fantástica: I have been coming to this location for about 8 sessions /1.5 months The therapy was not working !! At all!! I was not really getting better (a tear in my Achilles tendon years ago has now resulted in incorrect walking which resulted in sever Inflammation ! Today i arrived to yet another therapy session with little hope that things would be different .. There was a new therapist Derek who was prepared had read the notes left by prior therapists and he was Diligent in his questions and after evaluating me he explained what was going to have caused my steep decline and had a very focused and clear plan as to how to address my rehabilitation. PLEASE keep this therapist in this location He is amazing!!! Prior to today I was ready give up and try a different therapy facility, as this place needed consistency and knowledge. Derek’s passion and abilities is commended!!!! Thank you ! Derek!!!

Experiencia fantástica: I just finished 6 weeks of physical therapy for a broken ankle, and it has been amazing. Everyone was friendly, personable, and knowledgeable. I believe they made all the difference in my recovery. From tailored exercises to flexible scheduling they truly were wonderful. The physical therapist, Nick, and all the physical therapy assistants were great. You can tell from their interactions with clients that they really care about them and enjoy what they do. Just amazing all around. I hope I never need physical therapy again, but if I do I'm going here.

Everyone else had appointments available in two weeks. From the moment I walked in, the staff made us feel welcome and supported. The physical therapists are incredibly knowledgeable, attentive, and truly care about your progress. They took the time to listen to our concerns and worked with our schedule. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking for compassionate, professional, and effective physical therapy care.

Ive used 3 other Physical Therapy facilities in the past 15 years and they cannot compare to the complete package that I've experienced. Nick was my Physical Therapist and what a great professional, in fact the entire crew has done a great job. Under the guidance of the team I have returned to 90% of my previous active lifestyle and looking forward to progressing back to normal activities. Thank you Athletico

Experiencia negativa: •I also just want to note in here, this is a review. Not a conversation for discussion like the owner commented back on this review, but my own experience with the place. Like I said, great people work here-very nice. But the way my case was treated and cared for I was not happy, and there's not anything to take that back. Just sharing an honest review. Also want to note, 2 weeks later and they did not reach out. lol Honestly, front desk and PT's were very nice. I will give them that. No complaints there. However, I had a fractured foot of 2.5 months. We did a consultation the first day to see if there was any issues or pain. I stated my pain was at an 0. (& then every other appointment after that the same) [•Also want to note, my foot wasn't at a 0 if I did certain movements or stood certain ways.] Did PT here the first day for maybe an hour. Normal right?! The next two weeks they wanted me to come in for 3 hours at a time 4 days a week. Did bicycle crunches. A arm-bike. Regular crunches. Planks. And lifting above the head, which had NOTHING to do with my actual injuries to my foot. I was pretty furiated by this and so was my doctor. They even had me doing squats on a bosu ball and that about sent my Dr into over-drive. You shouldn't be doing PT on a fractured foot on something like this. Not to mention, I'd come in and they'd have a clipboard of workouts for me to follow w times & a timer and leave me at that. didn't watch over me or help track progress on how certain things felt on my foot. I felt like I didn't get an actual PT experience, more like a boot camp experience. Shouldn't have been 3 hours at a time either. Older people the physical therapists really took their time and spent time with them, which I thought was great but for only 2 physical therapists and sometimes having 2-3 patients at a time was an overkill. I suggest minimizing the work and spending more 1-on-1 time w patients and getting to know their injury's and how certain movements may be effecting them and how YOU can do YOUR JOB to help them. And really focusing on helping a person versus giving them a sheet of workouts that they could easily do at home and letting the patient do it themselves without any help. Overall, just not happy nor impressed with this place. Got their money without helping me. Good for them.

Nick was such a knowledgeable physical therapist and he really listened to my needs and made a plan for me that helped me get back to being an ICU nurse. I’m now living with no pain and I am able to do my job to my full ability. So grateful for this place!

After total hip replacement with undesirable results, Nick and his team worked with me 3x/wk for 4 wks. My progress was off the charts in overcoming what was a daunting challenge. The BEST part is they listen, react professionally and take you where you want to be. I cannot endorse them highly enough! THANK you, Nick, Jordan and Kendall! You ARE the BEST.

It wasn't too severe but I quickly saw progress and strength after just a few weeks working with their team. The staff is friendly and I appreciated their flexibility with my crazy schedule in December. I highly recommend the Surprise location for Athletico.

Experiencia fantástica: We loved our experience at the Surprise Athletico! Nick took care of my 13 year old daughter who had a sports injury she was recovering from. He worked her into his schedule quickly for a free consultation. We liked his plan and felt comfortable with Nick right away. He got my daughter back on track in the time frame he predicted and through the process we trusted him, felt cared for and are so grateful she’s now able to jump back into the game pain free. The location is clean, organized, well kept, and we loved that it wasn’t overly crowded and that we never felt like a number. All the staff was friendly. If you need physical therapy go to Athletico and see Nick. You won’t regret it!

I walked in there 4 months ago hardly walking from knee pain a compressed disc in my back. I am happy to say I’m out of pain and feel back to me again!!! Nick created a program specifically for me and they both go that extra mile to make everybody feel special. I highly recommend Nick and Derek, although I don’t want them to get too busy, I want to be able to get back in with them without having to be on a waitlist !! J/K- if you are in pain, don’t even think twice about calling this Athletico location, Kendall will answer your call, answer all your questions and get you scheduled, she is awesome as well!!

The whole staff in this location from Patrick and Nick to Kendall and Lauren have made my recovery experience easy and fast! The whole team treated me with respect and patience as I began my recovery journey. I had a lot of questions in regards to my injury and the staff helped me better understand the intricate nature of my injury and recovery process. I don’t hope to get injured anytime soon but if I did and need help with physical therapy, I’d definitely seek the team’s help at this location again!

Experiencia fantástica: This location had recently opened when I was first referred to them. The facility is kept spotless with each piece of equipment having it's own storage space. Patrick was the only PT working at this location during my first few months of treatment. Despite the over whelming amount of work that I'm sure is associated with opening a new location Patrick still gave me his undivided attention. The team that he has built is very knowledgeable, professional, and they take the time to fully understand your issues and create/provide a customized plan. They provided excellent explanations of individual movements and the overall treatment plan. I highly recommend this location and Patrick's team of experts.

They are also hands on with stretching and soft tissue massage.Patrick knows when to push you to get better, but doesn’t over do it. Patrick is the best I have ever been around.

After some time with Patrick and utilizing the workouts he gave me after I finished, my ankle feels practically brand new!
