Experiencia positiva: SOS is a victim of its own success. I've been very pleased with SOS doctors and physical therapy over the years. My major complaint is that it's near impossible to get through by phone. Experiencing serious back pain, I've tried twice to make an appointment by phone (after initially requesting one via their website) and have been put on permanent hold each time. SOS really needs to address this basic administrative problem. I finally got through only to be abruptly informed that they're maxed out and couldn't accept me even though I have been a patient in the past. Needless to say, I'm taking my business to another orthopedic practice. This latest experience has soured me on SOS and I won't try to return. UPDATE: Whether in response to my earlier negative review or some other reason, I subsequently received a call from a polite receptionist asking when I would like to schedule my exam. Since I was in excruciating pain and the other practice I had lined up for an appointment was too slow off the mark, I accepted SOS's offer and got back into their system. As in previous years, they were efficient, on time and carried out the requisite imagery tests in a timely fashion. The PA wrote me a script for PT. Now everything is on track for improvement. I am therefore revising my rating to 3 stars (the first very negative encounter described in my initial review still sits in my craw).

Experiencia fantástica: I would only hope that anyone going to SOS for physical therapy would/could experience the positive experience I had. Brandi Brown is phenomenal and I always left there with a positive mindset after having a shoulder replacement. I can't thank Brandi enough!

Experiencia fantástica: i had a shoulder dislocation and had to go to therapy at sos. two physical therapists, ed and brandi, were in charge of me, and they were very helpful and patient the whole time. i had to go for over 2 months, and by the end, i even started to enjoy the exercises. they made it fun and easy, and now i’m all healed up. it was great to have them!

Experiencia fantástica: My third time doing PT in the Syracuse area but my 1st time at this provider. If I need PT again in the future I will definitely be going here! I work with Dan and Kyle and they’re both great. You don’t feel rushed and they will make sure all of your questions are answered. The staff at reception desk excellent as well! I’d recommend this provider to any in the area needing PT!!!!!

Experiencia fantástica: Dan and Kyle were an awesome duo. They made me feel comfortable and helped me every step of the way. This healing journey hasn’t been easy but every week I felt more confident and less anxious with their help. Dan even helped me to find a brace for my knee at my last appt today. Not hoping to return due to another injury but if so, I would 100% request them!

Experiencia fantástica: Going to therapy is never fun especially when it’s on workers comp because you got injured at work haha. But the staff specifically Caitlyn is awesome. They are always very nice and explain things and tells you exactly what to do. Always willing to answer questions.

Experiencia fantástica: I had Dr. Raphael do both of my rotator cuff shoulders done three months apart. He did an excellent job. Surgery was great, recovery was great. Physical therapy at their SOS with Andrew Green was very positive too. Highly recommend having the surgery done. Shoulders are much better after few months. Don’t be afraid to get it done. Experiencia fantástica: My PT , for my full knee replacement, was at SOS Orthopedics and Sports Therapy , Wide Water Parkway. The staff was great. I had Ted L and Sara Z. They explained everything and were very friendly. I'm very grateful for them and would recommend them to everyone.

Experiencia fantástica: Sarah and Ted were an excellent team. They crafted a program based on my individual needs. They listened to my input and were kind and considerate. The facility was extremely clean. Front desk staff were pleasant and competent.

Experiencia negativa: It appears that work ethics have gone the way of the Dodo in the US. This week Walmart and the reception at Syracuse orthopedic specialists are just an example of should error.

Experiencia negativa: I didn’t see any improvement or progression in my therapy. In the end I felt abandoned with pain that I want gone. I plan on looking elsewhere - with hope the therapist can really work with you, stay and watch your workouts, more interaction than a quick “did you finish”, open to discussion and ideas for workouts that can be included in home/gym workouts.

Experiencia negativa: I'm a few weeks into my physical therapy and it has been AMAZING! My therapists are friendly and some of the best people I've met. Today when arriving for my appointment, I received a call while in my car about to walk into my appointment. They had called to tell me I missed my time and I couldn't even come inside. I drive 30 minutes across town, one-handed, just to make it to my appointment. But the receptionist turned me down instantly, didn't ask if I was okay, didn't ask if I'd like to reschedule, nothing. I felt absolutely appalled and upset, because I'm wasting an hour of my time and gas money, as well as risking my life to make it there safely. The therapists deserve a 10/10 rating but the receptionist who spoke to me on the phone would get a -13/10 if I could rate it that low.

Experiencia fantástica: Caitlin and Diachi are amazing! My 14 year old was not even weight bearing for half the summer and is back on the football field this fall! Their communication and patience is second to none. They took the time to make sure he was progressing properly and always answered any of my questions honestly. Anytime I would call, they called me back promptly and even helped with insurance problems. After my experience with them, I would never go anywhere else.

Experiencia fantástica: I’m presently having therapy here. The therapists are outstanding. Very friendly, encouraging, very helpful and knowledgeable. Katelyn is exceptional as well as the young man that works with me. However, the front desk ladies aren’t very professional at all. Not very friendly. The younger lady completely ignores you as you stand there in front of her. Finally the older lady ask if she can help you. The therapists deserves a 10 star but the front desk needs to up their game

Experiencia fantástica: I am a current patient for frozen shoulder I think the staff is second to none They are fantastic to me and each other. Todd and Brandy are excellent managers and clinicians I am in a lot of pain a lot and cry and i'm grouchy. They are always so sweet and kind to me. Jess and Ed are the assistants and they are just so patient kind and thoughtful I think they have the best staff not only in healthcare but any company in CNY. Keep it up! Experiencia fantástica: I Just finished 16 weeks of physical therapy due to a torn rotator cuff repair. Todd, Ed and Jessica gave me pain free therapy, increasing my strength and mobility. I can’t thank them enough.

They always have a smile on their faces and always make you feel so comfortable. I would highly recommend this place and especially them two to anyone who may need PT.

Experiencia fantástica: I had a great experience here with Caitlyn and Daichi. I came here in September 2018 to continue ACL therapy after returning to ESF for the school year, having had my surgery that summer. They challenged me appropriately but reasonably, adding difficulty when ready and discontinuing exercises that really didn't work. I was with them the duration of fall semester until winter break, when they released me. In that time, they got me from not doing much more than walking to the point of running on a treadmill, jumping, and agility work. Caitlyn and Daichi were awesome; very friendly, happy, supportive, and all around great therapists. Would 100% recommend to a friend!
