Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been seeing Dr Meagan Trisko For three months for a knee injury caused by overuse and a possible torn meniscus, and she has been amazing! Dr Meagan is extremely knowledgeable and provided me with a wide variety of exercises to strengthen my knee and reduce pain. She explained the why behind each exercise. Dr Meagan stayed with me throughout each session, encouraging me and ensuring that I performed every exercise correctly and adjusted my plan as needed. The personalized approach at PhysioStrength Physical Therapy-Along with the app that includes all exercises recommended by your PT-Is a huge plus. I’m now pain-free and back to enjoying hiking and cycling and gearing up for skiing in the winter.

Experiencia fantástica: I have received physical therapy services in a number of PT clinics from Washington to Arizona. PhysioStrength Physical Therapy on 12th St. in Tacoma is exceptional and the only clinic in my experience where the Physical Therapist not only prescribes a treatment program but also provides direct services rather than passing therapy treatment to an assistant. Providing these services directly allows the therapist to monitor and adjust the program on the spot. My therapist, Dr. Claudia Burns, was amazing. Her treatment plan and encouragement guided me through rehab after a very painful total knee replacement. She didn’t just tell me I was making progress, she actually measured that progress routinely, adjusted my program as needed, and communicated with my surgeon’s office. She always had a way of keeping me moving forward even when I was in too much pain to follow my regular program. She had a endless repertoire of creative strategies to substitute, if needed, and adjusted therapy when a mobility or other issue arose. Having experienced the best, I would never go elsewhere for future therapy needs and highly recommend this clinic and their therapists.

I’ve consistently had Mr. Derek Strauss treat my 14 year old son for knee injuries and we’ve had a great experience. Mr. Derek has helped my son feel comfortable and confident. Experiencia fantástica: Over the last few months Dr. Schroff (my physical therapist) has done a wonderful job of guiding me in the healing of my posterior tibialis tendonitis. He is patient and carefully listened and helped me figure out what my body needed to heal and get strong. He encourages my questions and is happy to receive email updates, and answer questions in between appointments. I highly recommend Dr. Schroff!

Experiencia fantástica: I've been going to Physio off 12th for maybe 4-5 months now. I am a cash paying client and I've worked with Derek since I started - he's been great. I switched over from another PT clinic because I wanted to try some manual therapy and Physiostrength offers that. Derek is really knowledgeable, and I love that he can hold a conversation while correcting my form to make sure i'm activating the right muscles. So far, he's helping me recover from mid back pain, elbow pain, and some hip pain. When I first went in, my back was in bad shape, but now I'm back to golfing, there's still pain, but I feel like I'm able to manage it. I know I'm going to get better in time if I continue to do my part.

Dr. Derek Straus is an incredibly skilled therapist who coached me back to a painless and fully functional shoulder and life. He is a very adept, thoughtful, caring and wonderful young man. Experiencia fantástica: I played collegiate sports and work currently in collegiate and professional sports and I've been blown away by the level of care and attention from 3 different therapists (Alec, Connor and Derek) at PhysioStrength for my ACL/meniscus rehab. I'm around professional strength coaches and athletic trainers frequently and the therapists at PhysioStrength are incredibly knowledgeable. The reason why I'm writing this review though is the level of care and consideration Connor and Connor run this business with. I don't want to share too many details and set an unfair precedent or expectation for future clients but I will share that when my insurance made a very unrealistic change to my policy, Connor chose impact and well being over profit and I'm grateful people still exist in the medical profession who truly care about healing above all else. I can't recommend this office enough. As a business owner, I'm always curious to see how others run their business and this team is doing it as well as it can be done.

After several weeks I have a much greater understanding of body mechanics and my chronic pain is now manageable. Experiencia fantástica: I had a great experience working with Alec on some upper and lower back pain I had been experiencing for the past year. Alec performed a detailed initial examination to put together a program of stretches and exercises to target my pain. All the exercises he demonstrated during our in person sessions are also put into a free app that shows videos of proper form. This is great to reference at home to remember what was shown in person and where you should be feeling each stretch/exercise. Would recommend anyone with recurring pain get a session scheduled with the PhysioStrength team.

Experiencia fantástica: I have never had to visit a Physical Therapy facility until recently and only had pre-conceived notions from teleivision where they push you to the brink and you end up loathing the staff, but at least as far as Physiostrength is concerned it could not be further from the truth. While i've only worked with 2 therapists (Derek S. and Conor), they have all been very friendly and welcoming. They are very good about understanding your limitations and trying to steadily go beyond without overwhelming you. Derek has gotten me to a point I would not think possible without surgery for my recent knee injury. I was reluctant to choose this location as my referring provider did not have any feedback on the facility, but I highly recommend if you need Physical Therapy to give them a go!

Very focused on figuring out your injury and the best program for it. The therapy is not monotonous, and he stays engaged with you the whole time. She also guided me through a setback where I over did it and re-injured my hamstring (see above personality traits). I've only been about three times but I've received the most relief, help and hope from Dr Jordan that I have from any of the neurologists or musculoskeletal specialists I've seen in the past two years. Including two other physical therapy offices. If you haven't received the answers you need come here, you'll feel better. Remember though, it takes diligence at home with the exercises as well. Working together with Jordan has given me the light at the end of this very long tunnel.

They give me ideas on what exercises I need to adjust to so I don't aggravate those muscles again. They also teach me how to adjust my workouts so I'm not overworking the wrong muscles. It's not just about PT. We have other conversations about life in general. They are great!!!!!
