Experiencia fantástica: I have been working with physical therapists for almost 4 years and this team is the best I've ever had. They understood the complexities of my issue at the first appointment and that built the base of our relationship. My appointments happen on time. The front desk remembers me. The care I get is tailored to me and not just someone telling me to do exercises and watching me do them. They help with the hands on pain relief with tissue work, traction, joint mobilization---this last piece is huge! I cannot afford a whole team of other providers to do just this part. So I do my homework and exercises and they help with the pain relief I can't do for myself. I always leave feeling better if not physically, mentally-and that's half the battle. They are in my corner. Thanks!

Experiencia positiva: THIS IS WHAT PHYSICAL THERAPY IS ALL ABOUT!! NOT A ONE SIZE FITS ALL PLACE. I CAN APPRECIATE THIS BECAUSE I HATE WHEN SOMEONE TRIES TO COMPARE MY SYMPTOMS TO OTHERS. THIS IS THE FIRST PHYSICAL THERAPY PLACE THAT HAS REALLY HELPED WITH MY BACK PAIN(I'VE BEEN TO MANY).THANK YOU

Experiencia fantástica: I've had experience with at least 4 other PT's in the Tacoma area and without question, Anchor PT is the best! I always felt heard when I would ask a question and was always encouraged on my progress even when I didn't see it myself. From the moment of stepping in the front door, I was greeted with a smile and that happened each time I came in. I've had 3 different surgery-recoveries on different body parts and they were knowledgeable in every one of them. The atmosphere was always friendly and very caring, yet professional. From my vantage point, every patient was cared for and encouraged.I have recommended Anchor to several people and will continue to do so. And I won't hesitate to go back if needed!

Experiencia fantástica: This was my first experience with this company...and i would have to disagree 100% with the last review. everyone i met in the whole office was friendly and watching the patients they all seemed to be very comfortable and happy (even while working hard on their exercises). i agree that there was laughter...but to me, this is a very good sign that the therapists, aids, front desk people and owner actually enjoy their job and their place of work, something rare these days. an environment where everyone is able to be relaxed and laugh is a good thing, and the sign of a good manager. the layout and decor of the office was so nice, i was impressed. everything was in place, clean and modern looking. watching the treatments they do, massage, hot packs...E stem...made me want to get injured so my muscles could get a nice treat they deserve. it reminded me of a spa...very impressive. i highly recommend it! go see for yourself, and see who's review you agree with.

Experiencia fantástica: My therapist Shannon went way above and beyond the parameters of just being a physical therapist. She was extremely flexible my erratic schedule. She also kept the atmosphere light with her upbeat attitude and approach towards making sure I didn’t get discouraged during the times I struggled with my progress. I highly recommend her for those who are dealing with post concussive traumas as she is an expert in that regard. Her dedication to ensuring that her patients recover in the best way possible is unparalleled. It’s not often you meet someone in the medical field that truly cares about making sure you come out of your treatment 100% better than when you went in, but Shannon does that. She is not only an amazing therapist, but an amazing HUMAN BEING! And I consider myself greatful the dedication, time, effort, and care she showed to me in my rehabilitative process. Experiencia positiva: This is a good place for physical therapy. I was seen for my back due to a slipped and bulging Lumbar Disc. Most days i couldnt walk my dog even a block without excruciating pain. I attended PT twice per week for a few months and was able to walk my dog a mile to a mile and a half every day!! My physical therapist Shannon was amazing! Very clean inside. Equipment is constantly cleaned in between patients. Very friendly staff. Very flexible on scheduling.

Experiencia fantástica: If you're serious about your health and wellness, this is place. 3 months ago I could barely tie my shoe due to a herniated L5. This weekend I ran 15 miles. The turn around in such a short time is incredible but it took dedication and work. Shout out to S² for all your help, couldn't have done it without yas! Thanks for helping get me life back!!

Experiencia positiva: Overall good experience with my father. Doctor Ross, the owner is a professional. I do Recommend him. You have to find a physical therapist that works the best for you, as we were not glad with the one who was our primary at first. We asked not to work with him and the receptionist had changed our doctor. We have been working mostly with Alex, very attentive and carrying about his patients. Can recommend him.

Experiencia fantástica: This place is amazing. Shannon is my Assigned Physical Therapist. She’s super awesome. She listens, she genuinely cares, she’s super understanding and if you ask her to push you more she will! She will be your biggest support. I also work with her PT Assistant Jorge. Not only is knowledgeable but he’s also going to push you. He holds you accountable as well as he’s making sure you’re being safe. I started working with him three weeks ago and I’ve seen so much progress I feel like I’m getting closer to 100%! I wish he worked more than just Monday and Wednesdays.

I’ve been a patient at both the Lakewood and Tacoma location, but have also been referred to PT at other businesses (that I won’t name) and no one compares to Anchor. The staff is friendly, and welcoming. I’ve been working with Jorge and Megan, who are amazing and encouraging.

He is an amazing Physical Therapist, he makes every meeting to be fun, with every physical activities he’s giving to his client, specially me. I am always kinda lazy every time I have to go to this appointment but when I am there and when he is starting to tell me what we are going to do, he’s boosting my energy all through out and you will not even realize that you are doing physical activities because I am having fun with all his challenge. Experiencia positiva: I was in a car accident and my chiropractor referred me to anchor physical therapy and Shannon was fun to work with when I went their I was in a lot of pain couldn't really walk and bent over or squat Shannon help me get back to walk and bent , squat again she made sure that I was doing my exercise right.

Experiencia fantástica: Thank you to Anchor Therapy not only the crew tailored workouts to repair my injures but they have taught me how to prevent future injuries. From basic day to day life from just driving long hours or just squatting down to pick up my daughters it was a struggle to have knee and ankle pains from simple tasks. After graduating Anchor Therapy I’m confident and able to run on the treadmill get back into sports and hobbies that I love. I feel stronger, faster and healthier than I ever been! Thank you to everyone at Anchor from the front desks to all the physicians!

Experiencia fantástica: These people are wonderful! The staff are friendly and helpful. They really made me feel good and supported and encouraged me to work harder, and push through the pain because I was/am afraid it would hurt and make re- injure myself it wasn’t but it easy to do but it did work. I feel better and continue to do my exercises at home. They go beyond the work you do at the site by giving handouts so I can remember what to do at home. It was easy to schedule my appointments or change them if I needed to.I have had to go back a couple times for PT. I will go to Anchor Physical Therapy again. I can’t thank Shannon and Alex enough for helping me and putting up with my fears, and struggles, they are amazing ! Thanks Shannon and Alex!

Experiencia fantástica: I had an amazing experience at Anchor Therapy. George was great at identifying the issue and working on how to improve that area He knew exactly what type of exercises would best work for me. Due to time limits, I had to go to the therapy only on Saturdays. There where I found John. He was also the best!! He challenged me and added various types of exercises to my rehab. He gradually proceeded to a harder level workout once he saw I was doing better at the previous ones. I am so grateful for this place! They all were amazing! Thank you, guys!

Experiencia fantástica: Physical Therapists are great and all the surfaces are wiped down after each use. I've seen 4 different physical therapists here (even though they prefer to keep you with the same one every visit), and they are all so kind and encouraging. Reception staff are friendly. I've only seen my initial physical therapist twice, and he was able to remember where my injury was just by remembering my face! I wasn't even working with him today. They really are amazing, highly recommend!

Experiencia fantástica: Absolutely voted #1 in sound for a reason! Massage therapy by Sheldon and Katie is worth a visit. Generally, I hate therapy but the PTs here are so kind, intuitive and knowledgeable, it's not SUCH a pain to show up Have been to several other physical therapy clinics in the Lakewood/Puyallup area, but they are the BEST. Rarely give 5 stars but they have great location, easy parking, open on Saturdays....and they have a cool ceiling!

Experiencia positiva: I had a PT but she no longer works there and I'm flabbergasted. She was amazing! Friendly and most of all did her job 100%. She focused on my entire back and did not focus on just what I said to her. She examined my entire back throughly. Her name was Kristy. I was shifted to another but I'm just sadden with confusion. Where ever Kristy is, I hope shes doing better. Heck if I see her again I will deff. be going to her.
