Experiencia fantástica: I had been putting off physical therapy for back pain for a couple of years because the thought of physical therapy made me apprehensive. From the 1st moment, the team at BASE Physical Therapy made me feel welcome and comfortable. The initial meeting with Tom is done in a respectful way where he will measure your range of motion and make recommendations for the physical therapy path you'll take. He takes the time to listen and gives open and honest feedback on the upcoming process. The rehab techs explain each stretching session and exercise completely and won't give you any grief when you need a reminder on how the stretch/exercise you've been doing for weeks needs to be performed properly. The PTA's give full explanations on the areas being worked if you're doing massage therapy as well, and they are also very conversational and will remember you by name and be conversational should you choose to be. The front office staff are also pleasant and will explain the insurance process completely and they work with you on scheduling out your appointments to fit your schedule. If you're apprehensive about PT like I was, I highly recommend BASE Physical Therapy. They are an asset to Tallahassee and have greatly lowered the day to day pain in my back and upper legs. The key is doing your recommended exercises at home as well, and this will make you feel better and make the visits go a lot smoother.

Everyone here is very knowledgeable, organized, friendly, and helpful! Although progress isn't fast, I feel that the hard work put into therapy definitely pays off in the long run :)

He referred me to Base Physical Therapy here in Tallahassee and I'm certainly glad he did. I have been extremely happy with the results that Tom Larson and the Base Crew have brought about. With the diagnosis of a frozen left shoulder, Tom and staff have patiently developed a routine that has greatly increased my mobility and reduced my pain level substantially. This was my first time to go through physical therapy and I consider it a great success. They were great at explaining the issues, and showing me how to fix the issues, and other problems i didn't even realize i was having. They also have great attitudes when it comes to helping people fix issues, and explaining the exercises, and how to do them properly is great.

The facility is clean and Riley and Morgin are always wiping. things off, which around this time is important. Having received PT many times, with many different doctors, I can easily say Base Therapy is one of the best in Tallahassee. Tom created an actual treatment plan for me and I feel great each time I leave. I'm even learning things about my body that I didn't know. Experiencia fantástica: Absolutely the most effective, efficient and fabulous PT facility. Start with the physical environment- clean, spacious, well-equipped. No stinky smells, air smells clean! Enough equipment / tables for all the clients. The PT crew makes you want to come for the torture! It feels like a gathering of old friends who remember you by name and what has been happening in your life! I laugh through most of my sessions! Physical therapy is competent, well-monitored, and appropriate. You are pushed just enough! Started here for PT post-Achilles tendon surgery - I have progressed so quickly with Tom and Kai’s help, along with the rest of the crew. I am very grateful to them all for helping me through a stressful time. Kudos to Base PT- the only PT facility I would care to recommend.

During assessment we identified what the real issues were which included firing the wrong muscles, severely tight surrounding muscles, and a weak core. When I originally went to TOC for my knee the doctor said I’d need surgery. I wanted to try anything but surgery and finding Base was the best thing that could have happened. After 2 months my knees feel great as do other parts of my body that had been causing pain. I’m incredibly grateful for the team at Base Physical Therapy and they’ve really been a key part of my fitness journey. This place helped me when I had disclocated and fractured my elbow and then when my knee didn’t go down Straight and. They do so much more than TOC would have done for me. TOC really didn’t help much at all. Tom knows what he doing. These guys are my life. I look forward to coming. They also are really helpful. If there was a place I totally recommend this place. Wonderful staff. The best part of it is there energy there to. Love y’all guys I am only 14 and I think place is the best ever. It’s kinda like a mini gym in a way.
