Experiencia fantástica: Be Strong Therapy is the absolute best! They offer a full range of services. Everyone is so competent, caring, non-judgemental, and kind. I went there to improve my conditioning, my balance, and my mobility. They work me hard, but it is also fun and I get a free cup of coffee as a reward. They treat you like friends and family....a wonderful atmosphere! Several people have noted my improvement in just a short time. Can't recommend them highly enough!!! Oh....and you aren't required to have to have a doctor's prescription to use their services.

Experiencia fantástica: After a year+ of cancer treatments, I was left cancer free but ridden with side effect challenges from the treatment - exhaustion, pain, severe neuropathy in my feet, depleted energy leading to inability to exercise, paralysis, rising possibility of lymphedema...etc. My oncologist recommended Be Strong Therapy to address these issues, and I am so glad that she did. My neuropathy is lessening considerably on an almost daily basis, the lymphedema is in the rear view mirror, I am on a sensible exercise program and gaining strength, and - most importantly to me - I am consistently encouraged that 'this too shall pass'. The people at Be Strong are not only compassionate, but incredibly skilled in their areas. Their set of tools in their toolbox is vast, and I have every confidence that eventually I'll be able to return to my very active lifestyle with full energy. I heartily recommend Be Strong for any of your therapy needs - physical, occupational, speech, massage - as well as personal training.

The further diagnosis of Lymphedema needed to be to addressed by a good therapist, and I found the best in Tallahassee and surrounding area. The receptionist are kind and professional, they are extremely courteous, and patient, whether on the phone or in person. Kelly is very professional, extremely knowledgeable, and very patient; during my visits she answered all of my questions and those of my husbands! Having an autoimmune disease is not a picnic but the people helping you with your treatment can be competent and kind or make you feel worse after going in, I can honestly say that I felt much better after my visits to this beautiful, spotlessly clean office and being treated like my health matters to Kelly, it's lovely to be treated like a human being. Although I was reluctant, the very first visit gave me a much-needed boost of self-confidence. I believed that my balance could be vastly improved. From that point on, I have seen so much progress, that I am definitely sold! Amber has been incredible... encouraging and gives the best feedback. I have also relied on her for recommendations of shoes, weights and assistive devices, such as walking sticks. Experiencia fantástica: I had a total knee replacement and the swelling just wouldn’t go away. It was preventing my range of motion and making physical therapy more difficult. After one massage session with Tonya my leg feels so much better! The swelling was reduced and I have more range! I’m going to see her every week until my knee is recovered.

Experiencia fantástica: I went to Be Strong for balance therapy and an occasional massage. Amber is an excellent physical therapist who evaluated my needs, set goals, and tailored and adjusted them. My improvements have been very significant. Chelsea is a wonderful massage therapist who makes certain she knows what you want and need, and her technique is matched carefully to this. Both Amber and Chelsea care deeply about their clients and are extremely skilled at what they do. I highly recommend Be Strong and these two therapists and will continue to utilize their services.

Experiencia fantástica: I was so impressed with Megan Bradley, from her initial evaluation, to her skill and knowledge as a physical therapist. On every visit she tested my strength, range of motion and pain, and we always discussed my progress, what I felt had improved, as well as any pain I was still experiencing. (When I went to my first appointment, I could not lift myself up a step without hip pain.) I always left with detailed instructions, including a photo, for each PT exercise she added to my regimen. In the end, what she gave me were the tools for self-care, confidence that the pain I'd been experiencing could be managed and that I could and should resume, incrementally, the physical activities that I'd abandoned.

All of the frustrations I have accumulated 7 years post breast cancer have been alleviated by visiting these encouraging ladies. After feeling like “that’s just the way it is” with my post-cancer body, I have a well researched plan with pleasant accountability. I can finally stop “googling” and scanning medical journals since Be Strong staff are up to date with the latest research and attend conferences regularly. Services I have used include: 1) occupational physical therapy designed specifically for breast cancer survivors and backed by research, 2) lymphatic massage, 3) fitting room for bras and prosthetics, 4) discussion about compression garments and possible custom made garments. Highly recommend!

Experiencia fantástica: I loved every minute of my time at Be Strong Therapy! I was an athlete for quite some time, including 9 years of competitive swimming and most recently 3 years of rowing upon leaving swimming. During the school year, my training week for both sports typically looked like 18-20 hours of practice and an additional 5-7 hours outside of practice lifting weights. During the summer, those hours increased even more. All this to say, I had to leave rowing behind my senior year of high school because of an injury that I was foolish enough to row through and ultimately make worse. It wasn’t until I came to Be Strong after several trips to other facilities that I began noticing profound changes. I highly recommend that you consider Be Strong Therapy Services!!!

Experiencia fantástica: Recently fell and fractured both knees and was referred to Be Strong Therapy for Physical Therapy. I called for an appointment and was so surprised as to how thorough the questions were about my condition. An appointment was scheduled for an evaluation first thing the next morning. I was greeted by 2 staff members and went over my condition and they agreed they could help. At this time I began to look around at the facility and saw how neat and clean everything appeared. That along with the total professional demeanor of the staff I spoke with convinced me to continue on. Megan was the PT I was assigned with. I can't even start to give the praise needed for all that Megan has accomplished with my knees in the few short weeks she has worked with me. I couldn't be happier with the care given to me. Experiencia fantástica: I’m glad Tallahassee has Be Strong Therapy. They have an impressive group of therapist. My therapist is Kelly Uanino. Kelly is masterfully skilled as a lymphedema therapist. Education and insight on the latest advancements with lymphedema are very important to me. Kelly gave me more knowledge about lymphedema than I had previously known. She also introduced me to newer types of garments for my condition. I didn’t know these garments existed. She gave me the necessary tools (day and night garments) to control my swelling. I have used other therapist in the past but based on my experience with Kelly, I decline to use any other therapist. Kelly also has a great personality.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been seeing Kelly at Be Strong for more than a year now for Lymphedema in my left leg. Due to her therapy, the fluid retention in my leg has been reduced immensely. She has also helped me choose the best sleeve and night time garments that work best for me. I've also seen Megan this year for physical therapy to improve my balance. Now, I'm seeing Megan for personal training! I can't believe what a few weeks has done for me! Be Strong has really been a life saver!

Great new location as well. The workouts have been well organized and a lot of fun.

Experiencia fantástica: Kelly and Amber have been working with my son, who is a fulltime motocross racer for the last 9 months. During that time they have helped him overcome a number of long term injuries, as well as rehabilitate new injuries. The level of care that Kelly and Amber have shown above and beyond just seeing Adam at his appointments is second to none. They truly care for his wellbeing as a person and not just as a scheduled appointment, and have gone out of their way to keep him healthy and fit to ride. They are constantly working on new home programs for him outside of his scheduled appointments. I cannot recommend Be Strong Therapy enough and would give 10 stars if that were possible.

I've seen better results in a short time here than I saw for years trying other places. The office is very clean and never crowded. Parking is easy and I've never waited more than a minute or two for my therapist, Amber, to come get me. They are more respectful of my time than any other medical office in Tallahassee. Highly recommended.
