Experiencia fantástica: My experience with my total knee recovery has been tremendous with the help of Jenna Mahdi, PT and Jordyn Swartz , PTA along with their entire Team. It is such a happy, friendly atmosphere. They listen and give great encouraging advice. The team gets along as a happy family continually helping each other and their patients. I am truly thankful for all they have done and continue to do for my recovery. Thank you one and ALL !!!!!

Experiencia fantástica: Usually, I do not write reviews until my experience or in this case treatment is complete. I was referred to Athletico by my podiatrist after surgery on my right foot to correct bunion surgery I had 30 years ago. This was the 6th foot surgery on my feet. I came to the office and to be truthful was a bit apprehensive because I have had mixed experiences with PT with a large corporate practices. Jenna immediately put me at ease but was serious in her desire to help me. She listened to my concerns but also took into consideration my entire medical situation and did not look at me as just another foot to treat or another patient to e run through a predetermined treatment plan that did not take my situation into account. Jenna assured me that I would be listened to, and my concerns would be considered. She took my other health issues seriously and considered them as part of my treatment. As she worked with me, she was patient and helpful with my lack of body coordination. Also, she was personable, that was not the painted on and fake happy act that so many health care workers have been taught to treat their charges. The other stafff were also genuinely concerned. When I first worked with Jordan, I was concerned that I would have to run down my case and basically start over and possibly work at cross purposes. My experience with her was the complete opposite, she was familiar with my case and worked with Jenna to ensure I was on track. This shows two things. First Jorden obviously cares about her job and is concerned about her patients. It also shows that Henna is a capable leader. Notice I did not write manager. Today we are being managed by various institutions without real care or leadership. Jenna displays what I think is one of the hallmarks of a good leader, she lets her people do their job and does not second guess them in front of others. Jordon is very personable, but this hides a steely determination that she wants her patients to improve and lower their pain level. She has treated me with humor and concern, striking that rare balance with effort. This bespeaks of her professionalism and human character. I want to note that the staff treats each patient with respect and care no matter what their background. I observed a very diverse group of people. They treated all with respect and care. I have also worked with Kelsey who was a new member of the team She seamlessly integrated into the practice like she had been there all along. Again, she was familiar with my case and needs as a person not just another file to be dealt with. This again speaks to the leadership qualities of Jenna in that she hired someone who would fit into her team. Kelsey also shows real concerns with her patients like everyone in the practice, she is concerned about my current situation but keeping the long-term goals in mind. She has a genuine sense of joy at each sign of improvement. Last but certainly not least is Chance He is extremely concerned about doing a good job. He constantly keeps all of his duties in mind but is always positive and extremely helpful. He is an old soul who is ad will be a great PT. (Jenna, he gets my lunch vote). As far as my personal interaction with him, it has been totally positive. He is patient with me no matter how many times I forget how to do an exercise or remember how many reps I need to do. He has a genuine love of what he does and I hope as he continues his career that he will find such a team to work with in the future. I am sorry to write such a long review, but this has been a life changing experience for me. As a whole not only is my pain level much lower but I am, for the first time in many years feeling optimistic about my feet and back issues I have had most of my life. Perhaps the biggest compliment that I can give is that I recommended my wife work with them to address issues that she has had for years. She has had bad experiences with PT. She was taken seriously and to date is making improvement with this laudable team. I cannot give them a higher recommendation.

Experiencia fantástica: Went to this location twice a week for two months to address back pain issues. Jenna was my PT and is the clinic manager for this location, and I also worked with Chance as her assistant. Both were notably professional, knowledgeable, and friendly for my entirety of treatment there. My experiences with other PT clinics in the past was negative because they were aloof to the treatment, often left you waiting for the next instructions, and gave minimal oversight. Not at all the case at Tempe Athletico. Was a very efficient use of my time with regular corrections to my form, surveys to track my progress, and adjustments to treatments and exercises to better address the pain that I was experiencing. Altogether a very positive experience and if I need PT treatment in the future I will be returning to this location.

Experiencia fantástica: Kelsey gave me some great exercises to help manage my condition and decrease the negative effects of it. The symptoms eased and came back less frequently after two sessions and I have been managing it with great at home exercises since. She was really kind, patient, and tailored a plan for me based on my abilities and comfort. Highly recommend.

Experiencia fantástica: Fabulous. The clinicians take the time to problem solve, critically think, and change therapy as needed to find solutions and progress through injuries. I feel like I'm visiting my friends here.

Experiencia fantástica: I'm so happy with the attentive care I've been getting for my ongoing back problems. I've learned so much about myself and how to be vigilant in my in-home exercises. They have helped me so much to stay active and mobile. I've been sharing with some friends, we need therapy, how beneficial it is. I'm really happy to know this week else there. I've been going there so often; it seems like they have become my extended family. I'll be bringing a friend to her therapy sessions, as soon as she gets the necessary approval.

Experiencia fantástica: Athletico Tempe is ABSOLUTELY the best! Due to very bad luck on my part (3 different injuries on three different body parts) I have been coming to Athletico a lot! The staff is amazing. Yesenia, the receptionist always follows up with appointments. They text with reminders. Kathleen, Jenna, and Kelsey are super knowledgeable and thorough. They create and implement exercise plans that are designed especially for you and to restore your strength and mobility. Additionally, every therapist sends home a home plan to increase healing and is available for questions via email. They also share their experience with interns so that we will have good physical therapist ls in the future. Lastly, they have great hours to accommodate almost any schedule and it's a fun place to be in spite of being injured.

Experiencia fantástica: I am so glad I found this place! I worked primarily with Kelsey, who is amazing! She is always trying to find the absolute best combination of exercises to help you and she has great energy! She is always in a great mood, always listening to you attentively and responding to your needs. I could not have asked for a better therapist. She is very knowledgeable and so is Jenna, who manages this location and tells the best jokes The two of them are the sweetest! Everyone there is awesome and you start to feel like you’re part of the family pretty soon. Loved this place and definitely recommend it!

Experiencia fantástica: We had a really positive experience with Kelsey at the Tempe location. She worked with my 12 year old son and she was very patient, knowledgable and thorough in her assignment. She came up with some exercises that have really helped him. Also, kind staff, no wait, clean and convenient location. Highly recommend.

Appointments are scheduled easily and with appropriate timeframes so everyone gets the attention they need. More of a one on one experience when you need it most!

Experiencia fantástica: This location is well managed by Jenna, a very knowledgeable and capable Physical Therapist. Jordan and Kelsey are her two supporting therapists with Chance and Colin as techs. Yensenia has a great smile and attitude when she greets you at the front desk. The whole team is very friendly, helpful and eager to see their patients improve. My overall experience was excellent and the results were outstanding!

I’ve been suffering from shoulder issues for two years and even after just a short while here, I began to see tremendous improvement. The staff is very knowledgeable and kind. Experiencia fantástica: Recently I injured my shoulder and was prescribed 12 weeks of PT. I chose Athletico because of the convent location for me. I could not be more pleased with the knowledgeable and caring therapists and the service I was provided. I highly recommend them for anyone of any age needing PT.

Experiencia fantástica: I have been having treatment at Atheletico here in Tempe for physiotherapy since August 2022 under the care of Jenna and her team before my knee surgery,and I am back after my surgery. I am the first polio patient she has ever dealt with. Jenna has been so caring and very helpful. She is gentle and full of empathy and makes the whole rigorous exercise easy and light and keeps me laughing so much I forget my pain. She is the best physiotherapist I have ever dealt with.

Experiencia fantástica: Kathleen is kind and caring, takes her time to understand the issues, and fully describes the process of what is going on/why it’s needed. She also has provided me with home programs that suited my needs after completing PT in the office to regain my ability to walk after breaking my leg. Would absolutely recommend to anyone who wants a relatable doctor who attentively listens and cares about each patient!

Experiencia fantástica: Athletico PT in Tempe is the best! After dealing with neck back pain for over five years and getting nowhere, a visit with Kathleen put me on the road to recovery. I am now able to ski, garden and hike, and even pick up my photography gear without an ounce of pain! Worth every cent, I only wish I’d found Kathleen + Athletico sooner! Very knowledgable and encouraging physical therapist!

Experiencia fantástica: Jenna is amazing! I came in 3 weeks after ACL and meniscus surgery and she is so nice. She is very personable and knowledgeable. She makes the exercises fun even if they are challenging. The exercises were very effective and today marks 13 weeks out of surgery and I’m almost able to sit on my knees comfortably again and my extension is looking great! So happy to be paired with her!

Experiencia fantástica: After starting physical therapy elsewhere and transferring to Athletico, I was stunned at the difference in treatment. My therapist, Jenna M., was extremely knowledgeable and created a plan for me so that I was actually able to make progress to decrease the pain I was having after an auto accident. Jenna was flexible with my schedule and passionate about seeing me make gains. Highly recommend Athletico for PT that embodies evidence-based practice!

Experiencia fantástica: 2023 Updated Review: I went back to Athletico Tempe to see Jenna for TMJ therapy. Jenna finds things other specialists can't and it always amazes how she can find the most subtle aches and evidence of tension entirely by feel!? I admire how she gets to know all of her patients and she genuinely connects with us. All of her staff and everchanging PTAs are also very professional and friendly and take feedback well. Hard as I may try, I somehow end up back here. Updated Review: I have received PT services from both Kathleen and Jenna at the Tempe location and they were both amazing. More recently, I've received PT and dry needling services from Jenna and I can't recommend her enough. She's incredibly kind and thoughtful and good at what she does. She's also encouraging and fun to work with. My neck and back were stiff as boards, but since seeing her for dry needling, my neck and upper back have loosened up tremendously and I've been able to resume yoga! Athletico's 5 stars are well deserved! Thanks to Kathleen, I discovered that my pillow and sleep hygiene are most likely responsible for my neck and shoulder pain. I was discharged recently, after a few weeks of PT as my neck started to loosen up through stretching and exercise. I enthusiastically recommend this Athletico, especially with the afternoon duo. Kathleen and Chance are wonderful people and they are a lot of fun

Experiencia fantástica: The Athletici Physical Therapy in Tempe is a very nice facility, with the best appropriate PT equipment, in a convenient location. And best of all it has a great staff! Max is so knowledgeable and patient. He taught me all the necessary PT exercises to reach my goal and maintain it.

Experiencia fantástica: Kathleen and co are amazing physical therapists. I came in with an acute back injury, WEAK glutes, and very limited mobility. Over four weeks the Athletico staff was able to get me back on track and pain free. Everyone here is friendly, resourceful, and helpful for someone looking for PT. Can’t recommend more highly.

Experiencia fantástica: Kathleen and Nick have really been great to me. I had a loud pop and pain in my knee while on vacation. Urgent Care stabilized the situation and suggested PT when I got home. I went to Athletico, because they gave my wife normal walking back after she broke her kneecap. Kathleen custom focused therapy to get me on my bicycle again so I can do long rides at 61. Today I did a short ride of 12 miles just 4 1/2 weeks after hurting my knee. A small facility and caring people.

This was my first time doing PT for a neck/upper back injury from repetitive use and came in with a severe level of pain, and within a month was fully cured! The team is extremely friendly, gives helpful PT exercises to do at home, and in the person therapy is great and relaxing! Very receptive to customer feedback and I'll definitely be back if needed. My physical therapist even emailed me a few weeks after completion to see how I was feeling :) I worked with Maximilian Fabricant--highly recommend you request him! Truly a wonderful experience :)

Experiencia fantástica: After my shoulder surgery for rotator cuff tear in October, I had a doctor’s order for physical therapy. Not knowing what to expect and I’ve never had physical therapy before, I was hesitant and grumpy walking in Athletico’s Tempe‘s office for the first time. Hesitant and grumpy only because I didn’t want to go there three times a week. It didn’t take long for my attitude to change. The staff there made me feel comfortable and all they wanted to do was for me to get better and improve my movement so that I could make it back to work. With their patience, guidance, and education, I did just that. So I want to give a special thanks to Kathleen, Jess, Mike, Story and everyone else that I worked with, thank you so much. To anyone that’s reading this review if you have any doubt, please don’t. They are a great team!

Experiencia fantástica: I've been going to Athletico to receive physical therapy for my second acl reconstruction surgery. The staff there is very welcoming, encouraging and kind! I've been primarily seeing Kathleen for therapy, she is very knowledgeable and you feel well taken care of with her. You can tell that the staff at Athletico really cares about their patients and about seeing their improvement each session. Athletico is a great choice for PT.

The staff here has been extremely encouraging and motivating every step of the way. I’ve come a long way since I started and am grateful for Cole and Kathleen’s help. Experiencia fantástica: Cami, Kathleen, and Jess are all amazing. They all make you feel extremely comfortable during your session. Even the parts that hurt (it’s therapy, it’s going to hurt sometimes) they talk you through it and don’t push you farther than you’re capable of. The entire staff is extremely friendly. Story is always so friendly and understanding if you need to call and reschedule. One time I accidentally came in when I wasn’t scheduled and they still accommodated me. I started out with Cami and then Kathleen when she arrived last month. Both are on the same page with my therapy so there’s no confusion if they switch off who’s working with me (depending on who’s in the day I can make it.) Jess is super sweet and always helpful showing me how to my exercises when I forget. I never expected to laugh so much during physical therapy but they really make it as enjoyable as possible. I highly recommend this location to anyone needing any type of physical therapy. Preferred star rating a billion.

Experiencia fantástica: I heartily recommend that you ask you doctor to refer you-- you won't regret it! I can't say enough good things about Athletico and Cole (my PT trainer), which is amazing considering my previous bias... I have never thought that PT would be helpful at all and for years I have reused to go. Then I suffered a really bad fall at work and Workman's Comp said I had to go or no WC. So I went, and boy am I grateful! The facility is clean, comfortable, and well-run. The staff is friendly and KIND. Appointments are easily scheduled. But, best of all are the results: Cole has helped me go from nearly bedridden with terrible pain in my ankle, knee, shoulder, neck and back--to being able to move and enjoy life again. The Staff's technical knowledge helped us sort out the pain coming from actual damage from the pain registered by angry, inflamed nerves--and the specialists were appreciative as am I; the therapy is REALLY helping. I go 3 times per week, and with every session I leave feeling better than when I arrived. The best part is that I leave with knowledge of how to self-treat flare-ups at home. Believe me, quality of life matters and I would not be getting mine back without this therapy. Cole is also a great person to ask all those "silly" questions that your doctors don't want to hear: Is my other knee supposed to hurt when I do this? How much heat should I use at home and for how long? When should I use ice? Do those Tensor home treatments work? and on and on... PT at Athletico changed my life for the better and I want that for my disabled adult daughter, too. Her Doctor agrees, and she will begin therapy at Athletico very soon.

Cole has been a driving force behind my recovery from surgery in May of this year. He has always been accommodating with my schedule and simply just great to work with. I also enjoyed working with Kathleen and Jessica whenever Cole was out. If you have to go through physical therapy, there is no better place in the Valley to go to than Athletico. Experiencia fantástica: Athletico Tempe is top notch in this business. I recently had right shoulder surgery, which I'm currently completing my PT there. Stori's friendly administration work at the front desk makes for such an inviting and great first impression. Cole's professional approach and dialed-in work for my PT is so encouraging, and his positive attitude is contagious. Cole keeps in mind my work and family life, so that added care is shown in his personal approach towards my PT, but always following what the Dr. ordered. Nick and the other techs are also easy to work with and very friendly, as you can tell by their guidance of their leaders. I had an okay experience with a couple different organizations 4 years ago after my left shoulder surgery, so I now appreciate Athletico Tempe that much more. I highly recommend using them for whatever PT needs you may have, as I am witness to other clients they help, and see how satisfied and encouraged they are when they walk out the door.

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve recently been to two other physical therapists for a hip injury. Now I am being treated at Athletico Physical Therapy. Cole was the first PT to actually take the time to fix it the right way where I saw significant healing. He is very knowledgeable of sports injuries/pain and seems to have more advanced rehabilitation techniques compared to PT’s I’ve worked with in the past. He’s also a great guy to talk to. Let’s face it... most of us probably don’t wake up every morning with excitement in anticipation when we have to go to the PT clinic, but Cole makes it very enjoyable. Athletico Physical Therapy provides both a professional and enjoyable experience.

Experiencia fantástica: This place is the BEST!!! I've been coming here for PT for only 2 weeks so far and I'm already feeling better and in less pain. Cole is the greatest Physical Therapist I've ever worked with and he is teaching me so much about how my body is healing after surgery and how to further enhance my healing experience by being proactive and staying hopeful. He is positive and encouraging and makes me feel like I'm his only client. Cole truly is a real-life SuperHero, in my opinion! The atmosphere here and all the Staff is so friendly and comforting and I really look forward to my sessions each week. I have always been skeptical about physical therapy, but coming to this amazing place has made me a true believer. I highly recommend!!!

Experiencia fantástica: 6 months ago, I suffered a tibial plateau fracture that required surgery. I went to Athletico Tempe for my physical therapy and bounced back quicker than I expected. I initially worked with Cami (who happened to be a physical therapist I worked with after a car accident several years ago) and then also worked with Kathleen and Cole. Then a month ago I tripped and fell. The result was a dislocated elbow and radial head fracture. My orthopedic surgeon repaired some ligaments and replaced the radial head. I started therapy for this injury just last week. I'm working with Cole and I'm already seeing some small but very significant improvements in my arm. Is going to physical therapy fun? Hell, no! It hurts, but it's going to hurt if you want to get better. The entire staff at Athletico Tempe makes pt as fun as it can be, though. They are warm, welcoming, positive, and very encouraging.

Kathleen always made me feel ease. And the best part is they made me feel much better. Not only that but they educated me on how to be proactive with my injury. Unlike most physical therapists i have been to they listen to whats happening to you and create a program to help you in the most effective ways. Cole in particular helped me identify that my issue was being affected by another injury, and created a plan to help both locations and i have been feeling better every visit! If you have the choice choose this location great staff and great location!

Kathleen and Jess have been fantastic helping me rehab my knee. I feel confident that I can be active and do what I want when it comes to physical activity!

Experiencia fantástica: Going to physical therapy is not my idea of fun. However this place makes the experience enjoyable. Kathleen, my therapist, is awesome! My shoulder has come a long way with her help. You get a lot of personal attention here, and the whole staff is super friendly. They also have an app to help keep you on track with your exercises at home. I'm almost all healed up now, and I will actually miss coming in here!

Experiencia fantástica: I came to Athletico after having ankle ligament reconstruction surgery. It was highly recommended by my surgeon and I whole heatedly agree. It's never too busy to the point where I feel like I'm not getting attention by the therapists. Kathleen and Cole both come with different approaches and it leaves me sore in different ways, but even 3 weeks in I'm seeing so much improvement, I'm already functioning better than pre-surgery. Ruth and Jess are fun assistants who will commiserate with you and help throughout. Also STORI up front is super sweet and is an understated light in this place. One of the most confident 5 stars I've ever given a place.

Experiencia fantástica: My experience with Athletico was great from the beginning. I have been rehabbing a shoulder injury with Cole for the last three weeks and he has been awesome to work with. He is extremely knowledgeable and easy to work with. He is efficient and considerate when he works with patients. I really feel like he cares a lot about the patients he works with and he cares about doing a good job with each rehabilitation. The clinic is friendly and inviting to be around, the front desk is also very efficient. I always feel welcome here.

I have been through PT many times in my life for a multitude of injuries and surgeries. I came here on a reccomendaiton from a friend. I can tell you that Cole, my therapist, knows his stuff, he is professional and friendly and he has been very attentive and flexible in building the plan to get me back in track asap. Experiencia fantástica: When I first came to Cole, I was in some of the worse pain I’ve ever experienced in my life. I could barely climb the stairs and was walking with the help of a cane. Cole quickly diagnosed my back problem and within a week I had significant relief from the pain. Now I have almost no pain and he has me back to running again! I have been very impressed with Cole’s knowledge and abilities. The entire staff is very friendly and they create a comfortable and welcoming environment. They also did a great job of working with my schedule and working with my budgetary needs. I highly recommend them! I feel very lucky to have found them and appreciate everything they’ve done to help me heal.
