I also had some challenges with my insurance, which they helped me navigate and get straightened out. Should I need help again in the future, this is where I'll go!

Experiencia negativa: I'll start by saying that my experience with my physical therapy sessions was adequate (more to come on that), but my main complaint is with their business operations, particularly with billing. TL;DR - sessions were ok but I was hoping for a better experience; their business practices/processes for unpaid balances needs major improvements! I paid all my copays at the time of my visit, but 3 months after my last visit, I received a phone call from a number that claimed to be the billing department, but my phone labeled the call as "Scam Likely" (red flag #1). I didn't answer for obvious reasons, but they left a voicemail using an automated voice and not a human (red flag #2). Furthermore, I had never received any email or USPS communications prior to this voicemail about any billing issues (red flag #3). Now I'm thinking that perhaps RET got hacked and my data was compromised and being used for scam calls. Great...Not a good look as far as trustworthiness goes so far. So instead of calling the number back, I contacted the PT office directly and they connected me to billing so I could ensure I was speaking to a legitimate business. I spoke with someone in billing and they notified me of an unpaid $30 copay, so perhaps it was a legitimate call from the start, but some really bad systems/processes they have in place. BUT, I checked my bank records and verified that I did indeed make a payment for the appointment in question, SO ALL OF THAT WAS FOR NOTHING!!!! Just a really bad experience all around. Now, onto my actual PT appointments. My Physical Therapist was clearly knowledgeable and did help me recover, but my compliant was more with her style. She spoke in a very quiet voice and would often ask me how many reps/sets I wanted to do of a given exercise... I have no idea! I came there for them to tell ME what I needed to do and how much to do it! It was just odd...I felt like I was doing my own physical therapy at times, and I was expecting my physical therapist to be confident and push me to maximize my sessions. It just felt like they were mailing it in at times. This was my first time doing PT, so maybe my expectations didn't match how this usually goes, but I was disappointed and ended my sessions earlier than I would have due to this. I probably should have rehabbed for longer, but it wasn't working for me. I'll go somewhere else next time, without a doubt.

Had a knee ACL small tear 12 days before the NYC Marathon, and Trevor set to work on a number of strategies snd PT/Sports Rehab…. Good news is I ran the NYC today, finished well and appreciate the focus and skills of Trevor and the team to get me ready to run…. Kudos to RET Crossroads!

Experiencia negativa: AVOID! very unethical! Their website doesn't tell you how much it will cost. When asking the front desk, I was only told would be charged $100. I assumed that was the final amount billed, but NO! The first visit was $345. Each subsequent visit was $306. When asking them again, they told me "charging me $100 during visit so you won't be surprised in the end with a big bill", well, guess what, I was extremely surprised! When I went to acupuncture, I paid exactly what I was billed later. That's why I feel this place is very unethical! Guess what, I talked to my coworkers about this, and they told me some places nearby only charging $60, with the same insurance plan. I will say avoid them, or any place not transparent with their cost.

Experiencia fantástica: I broke my leg over a year ago and tried to heal it naturally however that didn’t work so I had to have some pretty significant surgery.Dhruvi and her staff are welcoming, warm and have helped me tremendously in getting mobility back in my right leg I am so very thankful for them and believe it or not. I actually look forward to therapy.

Experiencia fantástica: Took about 6 weeks to recover to have no pain in my left hand and go from 15 lbs of grip strength to 25 lbs. Everyone was very kind and professional explaining every exercise step by step if needed. Definitely would recommend if physical therapy is needed!

Experiencia negativa: 1. I feel like my condition got worse, I got a much better improvement at another PT (I recommend PEAK). 2. Billing department is a JOKE. For half a year they have trouble finding the money that THEY sent me a payment confirmation for.

Experiencia fantástica: I had a cold ankle injury, partial ligament tear that was misdiagnosed and ended up lasting almost a year before I was recommended this place. I was barely able to walk 0.5 miles and that too would lead to swelling. I worked with Andrew and Jason here. Can't say enough good things about them, they really just want you to heal as soon as possible. In my first visit, I was unsure and confused of when/if I would heal, Andrew very kindly and patiently answered all my questions and suddenly the whole progression of my injury and path to healing was clear to me. Andrew designed each session to be challenging yet comfortable for me and I couldn't believe it that I was feeling much better within a week! 1.5months of regular visits and my 1year of downtime just went away. Andrew is extremely knowledgeable, compassionate and cheerful and so is Jason. I was a little sad to say bye to them once I felt normal again..which is saying something!

Experiencia fantástica: I had a recurring left upper back pain around my shoulder. Dan's a great PT who knows his stuff. He made me do some good exercises that incrementally put enough stress on my shoulders and increased my tolerance, and also used physical massages to relieve any pain.

Actually my Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Doctors suggested me to do injection at that time. But I started physical therapy with them first. After I did 3 months treatment with them, it is totally recover and I don't need to do any injection. Even my physical medicine & Rehabilitation Doctor is surprised with the result. They have done a great job!

I have had a lot of experience with physical therapist in my life and he is one of the best. He is incredibly knowledgeable, thorough and he spends a lot of time with his patients. He doesn't just come up with a plan an have his assistance take over , he reassessed what I needed every time I came to visit. I was very impressed with his ability to analysis exactly what was causing the pain, and educating me on how to maintain my strength to prevent a reoccurrence in the future. Alex the physical therapy assistant was also awesome. He would make sure I was performing the exercises in good form and provided information so I can self assess whether I was doing the exercises correctly. All in all a great place to get well!!!

I went to Crossroads Physical Therapy with lower back pain. I was waddling like a penguin, and unable to lift even a gallon of milk. Now, within a very short period of time, I can lift a 72-pound weight. My mobility is not limited at all. The greatest part is he listens to you and make changes to the treatment plan as needed. Experiencia fantástica: I would recommend Daniel Crusoe to anybody who has back pain. I couldn’t sit, or stand without discomfort (mid and lower back) and I’m now able to do everything I used to, without limitation. Most importantly, he listens and treats the whole body, helping people to recognize that everything is connected. In my case, there was a nagging ankle injury that may have played a role in my back issue. Additionally, he did not discourage me from being physically active.

Now my neck issues and shoulder issues were fixed after just several sessions with Dan Crusoe. The exercises taught was extremely effective and helped me get back to normal level of activity. All of the staff are very professional, they are focused on fixing your issues and help you get back to your normal life instead of keeping you around. Best PT I have ever attended!

I came to them with pain in both knees (hiking accident) and left 12 weeks later stronger than I was before. Dr. Crusoe is highly knowledgeable in his craft, but is also a skilled outdoorsman and was able to identify issues in my outdoors hobbies (hiking, skiing, and cycling) that could exacerbate my knee problems. She quickly diagnosed the root cause of the issues that continued to plague me after recovering from hip replacement surgery that other PT's (different companies) could not. She listens, she is creative and resourceful when the direct / routine exercises didn't really work for me. Recovery from two total knee replacements could have been a torturous journey. These folks go far beyond extra mile - Sydney at the front desk personifies customer service by patiently coordinating appointments (even looking at my online calendar while scheduling). On one occasion my elderly father was waiting in the car during PT. Sydney noticed and took a cup of cool water out to him. True kindness. I have had multiple professionals help me - Michelle, Raina, Stephen and Alex - each one has been tough but made it fun. They are patient and super supportive in helping me attain improvement milestones. I highly recommend this office. The staff has far exceeded my expectations and made what could have been a dreadful experience almost FUN.

Experiencia fantástica: Needing physical therapy is no fun, but it tells something about the place when going to physical therapy is something to look forward to. Michelle and her staff provide more than great therapy. They make recovery faster with the atmosphere they exude. Michelle has a great sense of humor makes both patients and the staff relax and ready to commit to care and what is needed for recovery. I had been seen mostly by Michelle, a couple times by Reina, and also by Kimberly, who was there just for one substitute appointment. All three provided the highest level of care. In the first appointment Michelle explained well the condition that is being addressed in the physical therapy through props and then followed up with highlights of what each exercise targets. As the exercises changed, she continued explaining the next targets and goals. As important are her listening skills. She inquires about changes between the appointments, progress and new areas of concerns, and with her own physical assessment, with every appointment makes necessary adjustments. Notes are left following each appointment. Michelle sets a great example to her staff. Therefore, even when therapists change, they follow the notes and the methods, so there is a continuation of great individual care. I have had misfortune to need physical therapy at least on three different occasions in the last twenty years for back issues; this is the only place that I actually looked forward to going.

Experiencia fantástica: Michelle was my PT at University RET prior to her joining Crossroads RET. I had shoulder surgery and she diligently got me back to playing catch within a few months. Very knowledgeable and good sense of humor. She makes PT....dare I say, fun!

I mostly worked with Reina and she always took the time to completely understand the problems I was having and design the excercises targeted to those issues. She fixed my ankle, figer, lower back, and golfer's elbow in about 2 months. Very impressive!

Experiencia fantástica: Just finished two months of PT with Michelle as my therapist at the Crossroads facility. I was limping and unable to climb stairs using my left leg, which was weaker than my right due at least partly to arthritis. My sessions with Michelle resulted in improvement in walking. And that resulted in making walking less tiring for me. She was knowledgeable and able to answer all my questions. She was friendly and pleasant to work with. The exercises she prescribed have strengthened my leg muscles. I can now walk without limping and climb most stairs using both legs. I will continue the exercises on my own now as I need to work on walking longer distances.

Experiencia fantástica: Patrick was simply amazing. He worked for four months with my 17-year-old daughter after a horseback riding accident. Due to the accident she had a paralyzed foot and weak leg from a bulged disk in her back and a severe concussion from hitting her head during the fall. This was a tense and complicated situation. Patrick was extremely knowledgeable and was able to fully recover motion and strength in the foot and leg after just a few sessions with manual therapy followed by strength training. It was short of a miracle. He then moved to a lot of balance and strength training to support the concussion recovery over the next three and a half months. Patrick was not just effective, my daughter loved the sessions with him and other staff at Crossroads Physical Therapy. They created a relaxing and fun environment. I would highly recommend them.

Patrick and Reina take the time to get to know their patients and personalize their physical therapy sessions. It was a great experience!

Experiencia fantástica: Patrick Toy is an awesome PT! I’ve seen Patrick for severe neck pain and after 2 sessions and following his recommended exercise program my neck feels so much better. He is also really nice and does a wonderful job educating his patients about their injury. He not only treats the problem but he also considers the long-term by emphasizing prevention in his treatment! Woot woot! Patrick truly cares about his patients and anyone would be lucky to have him as their PT ! :) thanks for everything Patrick!

Experiencia fantástica: Coming in for the first time for my shoulder, I didn't know what to expect. Patrick and the team walked me through the healing process and made sure I understood what was happening at every step. The first thing Patrick did was figure out what muscle specifically needed work and tailored the program specifically for it. After the past few weeks, I feel comfortable with my previously injured shoulder and am knowledgeable enough to make sure not injure it again. All in all, I'm going to start suggesting that my friends come here specifically when they need to treat injuries, and will come back myself if I ever need to.

Experiencia fantástica: I was recommended to Patrick Toy at Crossroads Physical Therapy by my personal trainer - and I am super happy that I was! I was dealing with some shoulder issues that were progressively getting worse and worse and were beginning to affect my training - to the point where I just couldn't lift weight above shoulder height without extreme discomfort. I have some posture issues as well and Patrick helped me figure out exactly what was going on - turns out that my issues were playing a part in creating an impingement in my shoulder. He gave me exercises that both improved my shoulder (within a week or two my pain was gone!) and are continuing to improve my posture every day. I have "graduated" from PT at this point, but continue to do my posture exercises every day and am continuing to see improvements in my movements and adjustments to my posture. Patrick was awesome the entire experience - he is so great at explaining and educating patients about their issues/injuries, treating the problem, and finding a route to long-term improvement. He gets to know you, your interests/hobbies/sports, and clearly works to find a program that works for each individual. It's really obvious that Patrick cares about his patients and is very passionate about what he does. Also have to throw in a shout out to Jackie who works at the front desk - she is one of the nicest people ever and definitely on top of her game! I am thankful for such a great experience at Crossroads.

Experiencia fantástica: I am currently working with Patrick after having injured my wrist. As an avid weightlifter, it was very frustrating not being able to put any weight in my right hand. When I came to Crossroads, Patrick was able to immediately identify the source of pain and after just a couple appointments, my wrist has improved by 70%. The best part of the physical therapy is that Patrick gives stretches that you can do while at home, so you can constantly improve. I feel that after talking to Patrick, I have a much better understanding of my injury and what steps we are taking to  fix it. I would definitely recommend Crossroads PT to anyone who wants quick recovery.

Experiencia fantástica: Patrick is a magician. I hurt my shoulder a while back and was in great pain. Patrick quickly diagnosed the issue, started the therapy and in 3 weeks I am enjoying my life again. Patrick is very knowledgeable, applies the right techniques and follows up diligently with his patients..the Crossroads staff is super fun as well, goes out of way to fit to your schedule, and does it with a smile. I highly recommend Patrick Toy!

Experiencia fantástica: From the friendly receptionist to the incredible physical therapists, I felt nothing but genuine care from the staff at Crossroads Physical Therapy! I came to Crossroads PT for a left wrist fracture following a bike accident. Patrick Toy, the head PT, took the time to hear my story, listen to my concerns, and work with me to heal my wrist. Patrick would even consult me on appointments with my Orthopedic doctor, and help me decide whether I should get surgery or not. I got to a point where I felt like I was plateauing, and I was not seeing the results I wanted. I was honestly ready to give up. But Patrick never gave up on me. He continued to try out new exercises, and thanks to his persistence we saw huge improvements! My wrist has nearly 100% of its range of motion back and my pain is gone. I can do pushups again and put pressure on my wrist. I could not have dreamed of getting better results, and it was all thanks to the Crossroads PT team. To anyone in need of physical therapy, if you are looking for a PT that actually cares about you, personally understands the struggles of going through physical therapy, and who will work with you to get real results, Crossroads Physical Therapy is the place to go.

Experiencia fantástica: Patrick is absolutely great! All the staff here are amazing! I came in after a car accident and was scheduled in right away. After my first visit, I felt immediate pain relief and given explanations for the injuries and pain I was experiencing. Patrick was very helpful and always made sure that I understood the exercises I needed to do at home/work. I would recommend all my family and friends to go to this clinic, because I received the best care from this team! If you have been in a car accident definitely give physical therapy a try, because I feel so much better after all my treatments!

Experiencia fantástica: I went to Crossroads Physical Therapy because I was in an auto accident. I was already stressed about all the paperwork between the person a fault and paperwork with my lawyer. My first visit with the clinic - Jackie front office manager, ensured me she would handle all paperwork. She did a great job of keeping me updated of what was submitted to my insurance company and what they have been requesting. She was over the top organized. My experience with the physical therapist was great! They were professional, friendly, and cared about my progress. I liked that each appointment had structure and they would measure my ability at the start and towards the end of the appointment. My treatment last for almost 4 months and I have seen them once a week, every appointment as been five star experience.

Experiencia fantástica: After spraining my ankle pretty terribly and wearing a walking boot for far too long, Patrick had me out of the boot and walking again in only a couple of visits, and since then has been working hard on making sure that my ankle is just as strong as it was before the injury, as well as strengthening and conditioning other parts of my body that also play a role in my ankle's health (knees, hips, core, back, etc). Patrick pays attention to my responses, physically and verbally, when working on my ankle and is always prepared to approach my rehab from a different angle if needed. He always had another option until he found what I responded best to. Also, Patrick and his staff are excellent conversationalists. They all communicate well, and are fun to shoot the breeze with. 10/10, would sprain ankle again!

Experiencia fantástica: I had a fantastic time working with the staff at Crossroads RET. They are so warm and welcoming, when you step in the door it's like your surrounded by friends. I worked with Patrick throughout my rehabilitation. You couldn't ask for a better therapist. He took the time to really get to know me as far as my hobbies, goals, my limitations and so on. Then he tailors the program to really help you accomplish your physical goals which extends to improving you quality of life. He invests 100% of his knowledge, time and energy, and really connects with you on a personal level. I have Cerebral Palsy. I have been seeing physical therapist my whole life and Patrick has been my best one by far!

Experiencia fantástica: Patrick Toy and his team have been phenomenal the past few months. They took me from two right bicep surgeries to complete pain free range of motion and strength. I actually looked forward to coming in as the culture there is so warm, friendly, and fun. They also work you toward healing and wholeness at just the right pace. I almost feel like I wish I still needed help. I am going to miss them.
