Experiencia positiva: In the 5 days my spouse has been there, no housekeeping services were provided. His room contained 4 full wastebaskets, no toilet paper, a filthy toilet, and fluid stained pillowcase on his only pillow. This was apparently due to staff removing his dressing and not replacing it. Once brought to their attention the wound was treated and dressed.It is unfortunate that nursing staff have to take time away from patient care to address housekeeping problems. Nursing and rehab staff have been very kind.

Experiencia positiva: I'm preparing to leave here and go to another facility. The reason I rated a four is because there's always room for improvement. Otherwise, I'd have chosen a five. My first day or two here were incredibly rocky and uncomfortable with moving me and getting my pain medicine regularly to stop break through pain or flare ups. I spoke to my patient advocate about my concerns and from then on things got so much better. Communication is key with all things. Especially, with health care places, keep those lines of communication open. I'm an independent person and fought having to be dependent upon the people here. They see this all the time and are very patient with people like me. In a nutshell, I'm going to miss many of the people here and the gentle way they worked with me, once we understood each other. I'd recommend this hospital to anyone in need of this particular kind of care. I'm gonna miss you guys and you know who you are because I told you in person. Far too many to mention here, individually. Thank you so much and I'm grateful for your kindness and support during my stay!
