I can’t say enough about the incredibly knowledgeable, warm, and encouraging team of providers and staff. I felt seen and understood here, a wonderful feeling during a challenging period in my life. Their expertise in neurorehab enables them to get to the crux of the issues that can arise with Post Concussion Syndrome and other conditions. The fabulous PTs Brittni and Amy created targeted exercises to help me deal with dizziness and so much more. Then OTs Lian and Jenna were wonderful guides who helped me learn to create schedules and track fatigue levels (pace myself to to reduce symptoms throughout my day). Then yoga therapist Andrea created a soothing space to learn movements to calm the body and mind. And finally Neuropsychologist Lauren and Rehab Psychologist Brandi insightfully helped me look at habitual thought patterns and assess priorities and values. The best part for me was that these experienced practitioners communicated with each other about my progress. This made the therapies even more powerful and effective because they were looking at my recovery from a “whole person” perspective. I am so grateful for my time at Re-active. I heartily recommend it to others on the neurorecovery path.

My confidence is greater. Everyone has different challenges and the therapists know that. They do not have a "one size fits all" approach at all. Everyone - therapists, interns and staff - are caring and invested in the improvement of their patients. Experiencia fantástica: Re-active PT is unlike any other therapy I have received in the past. After referral by my neurologist, I enrolled in the Dystonia program and was amazed at the comprehensive and cutting edge team approach which includes PT/OT and Psychotherapy. My PT team Lincoln and Chelsea work on my specific physical needs and goals, and are very encouraging and knowledgeable. I honestly have improved and been more hopeful in achieving recovery after 2 weeks of therapy than over the past 8 years of my Cervical Dystonia diagnosis. Therapy via zoom is the same as in person. I highly recommend!

Experiencia fantástica: My wife was already a client of re+active physical therapy and is receiving excellent care, so when I had some physical problems, it was a natural decision to make. All the therapists I've seen there working with patients seem to have wonderful personalities and a total grasp of their patients' needs. I was assigned to Dr. Harrison Ngo because he is the orthopedic specialist at re+active. I immediately noted two things. He was friendly and personable, with an unpretentious confidence AND most importantly, he listened when I told him of my problems. A lot of doctors/therapists want to talk and tell you how much they know. Harrison listened intently because he wanted to know as much as he could about my condition so he could help. Isn't that what doctors/therapists are supposed to do?

Experiencia fantástica: I have been taking group exercise classes at re+active for several years, and it's had a very positive impact on my life. When I recently broke my kneecap, I decided to go with one-on-one physical therapy also offered by re+active. I started regular PT sessions with Harrison. He designed a program of home exercises that have helped me make rapid progress in a short period of time. I really like the way he gave me a set of videos that described each exercise in detail, to insure I was doing them correctly at home. He also provides understandable explanations of what each exercise is trying to accomplish. I'm really confident that I'll completely recover with the help of Harrison's expertise and the phenomenal support system re+active provides. My current progress? I walked 5 miles this morning.

Experiencia fantástica: Kaylin Chiolino is my wife's PT. My wife (Carolyn) has worked with Kaylin for about 7 months on her parkinsonism and motion disorders, and she just loves her. Kaylin is very knowledgeable about her discipline, and has a special skill in motivating Carolyn to try harder. She is patient and caring, and understanding when Carolyn is struggling. She is a great cheerleader, giving Carolyn positive reinforcement with all of her achievements. I highly recommend Kaylin.

Experiencia fantástica: Since the COVID lockdown began, my husband has been receiving excellent, one-on-one services via an online platform from Zorica Babic, his physical therapist. Zorica has designed an exercise program to meet Leonard's needs. She has helped to strengthen his ability to walk, get up and down from a sitting position, etc. Zorica varies the exercises each time so Leonard remains engaged and interested in participating. She has Leonard use objects found in our home, such as filled water bottles, so there's no need to purchase any equipment. Leonard enjoys the sessions with Zorica and wants to continue them as long as possible.

Re+active PT has the best and most professional instructors I have ever seen and could easily have another name such as "Pro" active as they are constantly upgrading their goals to offer the best therapy for movement, and focus on making exercise sessions challenging yet still motivating the people like me to reach for a higher goal as well. The staff are clearly a "Team" which provides the best of the best when it comes to developing classes that make you want to return for the next class(s). Experiencia fantástica: I've been coming to reactive for over 5 years and not only have I seen a vast improvement in my physical and mental abilities but also my movement disorder neurologist and my general practitioner commented on the difference they have seen in me. Last time I saw my neurologist, she said considering my age I am doing incredible and in my most recent physical the doctor reported my lab values were the best they've been! I attribute it to exercise through reactive and regularly talking my medications! Everyone at reactive is incredible and they always make me feel like I'm exceptional!

Experiencia fantástica: Why I LOVE Re+Active Physical Therapy: When I began with Re+Active I was shuffling along, tripping on my own feet, stooped forward, hardly swinging my arms, moving slowly and struggling with a lot of upper and lower back pain; looking like a typical person with Parkinson’s. The physical therapists I had previously worked with were very nice people, but totally ineffective. If you saw me today, you would not know that I have Parkinson’s (a movement disorder), because I am dancing around with ease, sprinting and running in ways I thought were no longer possible. I have eternal gratitude and maximum respect for the professionals at Re+Active. This group has the best trained, well educated people, and they truly love their work. They are into it with heart and soul. Also, they not only have the specialized therapists that I need, but other specialists who help with other problems (my wife works with an orthopedic specialist for her arthritis and lower back nerve pain). They always consider and treat the whole person, not just the body.

Experiencia fantástica: Several months ago, I was given a referral to re-active Pt and I count it a gift and a blessing I was recovering from a pelvic fracture which exacerbated an already compromised health issue. All of the physical therapists are amazing, but I am so grateful for the care I have received from Allie Southend, Chelsey Brown and Byanca Rodriguez. Torrance re+active has many group classes to choose from. Several classes per day, 5 days a week. Cardio, boxing, general movement exercise and dance. I always feel energized and in a happy mood after finishing a group class.
