Adventist Health Vallejo: Opiniones
Experiencia fantástica: Best staff Best doctors Best social workers THANK YOU St Helena
Experiencia fantástica: just got out of here and the staff here saved my life truly (i’m 16) minus one staff member everyone was nice and welcoming and Cam and Mo were the best people i’ve met in the mental health field i owe the rest of my days to them! everyone said the food was good t
Experiencia fantástica: The staff was great, the groups were helpful, my only issue was with how they handled my chronic condition, but that wasn't any one persons fault, it's just what the state thinks should be the standard of care.
Experiencia fantástica: Loved it.
Experiencia fantástica: I was in here a couple months ago and everyone was so welcoming and nice in there. I met amazing people who made my stay super fun lol. The beds were comfortable and food was super good.
Experiencia fantástica: Never had taken antideppresdants…This is a medication nigjtmare…since leaving have constipation from their overzealous agenda….People sleeping their days away…staff members good for most part but some real. Provacotors…good food..but gtfo of here fast
Experiencia positiva: can someone tell me Chase the nurse social media im so in love with him.?
Experiencia positiva: stayed here for four days over the summer. was given zero psychiatric help other than coloring, staff was rude, and gave zero emotional support for homesickness. food was good and the people there (patients) were the best part. beds are also uncomfy.
Experiencia fantástica: i had a very great experience here. nurses were very nice, food was good, there was a good variety of groups and activities, and all patients were treated with respect and kindness. this hospital helped a lot when i was at my lowest.

Experiencia fantástica: i don’t know about y’all but i had a great time in there lol. staff was really nice and i met a lot of great people.
Experiencia fantástica: i loved it here tbh. food was good, movie nights were fun, nurses were great, group therapy was amazing. water pressure was kinda mid though.
Experiencia positiva: Can’t be worse than Aurora in Santa Rosa. It was like prison there. I don’t think any mental health hospital is going to be like they depict in the movies. American mental health is not funded well at all, or taken very seriously. So I don’t think it’s the facilities or worker’s faults for “poor” service. It’s just our country failing to help their citizens like always.
Experiencia fantástica: This place is old but it’s clean good food very good stuff very kind and Dr.Punia is very caring and very nic
Experiencia positiva: They treated me fine in this facility when I was there back in September but the staff does seem to pick favorites sometimes
Experiencia positiva: I liked it here,I made some friends, the food was good, the staff was nice,I got to watch movies and play air hockey. Only complaint is that I didn't get in until like 4am
Experiencia positiva: I had a intern psychologist therapist. Her name is Michelle. Food is great . So far my favorite hospital They treat you way better than Fremont which is the worst
Experiencia fantástica: It's a shame that this place gets terrible reviews.. I almost didn't let my kid be sent here because of the things people are saying in their reviews.. my 10 year old says: 1. The staff is very nice 2. The food is amazing 3. The rooms are very clean and big 4. Lots of groups and movie night every night. 5. No rats As a parent I can speak to the staffs amazing attitudes and the communication skills they have.. I can call and speak to my kid 4x a day within phone times scheduled... my kid is able to call me too! The doctor and case worker stay in close contact with both of us parents. And I am glad I didn't listen to the reviews
Experiencia positiva: The Law is watching
Experiencia positiva: When I talked to my friend who used the facilities, they sounded super appreciative -I'm giving this place a 4 because I think they would give it a 5 and really that's what matters most. My experience as the person who lives in Santa Rosa picking them up. I am concerned about out patient procedures. 1. Google Maps uses a different name then the one I was given. I'm not exactly sure how I would have known to go to "Adventist Health Vallejo" when I was told to go to "St. Helen Center for Behavioral Health" -also, there wasn't good outside signage either 2. My friend called me asking that I bring them jeans when I was 1/3 of the way driving there -if they needed something, I would have hoped to have that information before I left. 3. Along the line of the location name mix-up, if my friend is not in the mental state to relay important info (name of facilities/address) I would hope that someone could have called me on their behalf with the address/items they need etc. I feel like as a behavioral center being very clear about these kinds of operational things is important, since the individuals being served may not be in a state to communicate these things. I feel like it would be advantageous for the facility (when appropriate) to take a proactive approach communicating with a person designated by their patient who is assisting with their health on the outside.
Experiencia positiva: Staff was very helpful!
Experiencia positiva: So far so good. My daughter was just admitted here yesterday 10/13/19 and immediately I received a phone call from staff. The lady on the was very polite and patient, she let know the process of what is going to happen on my daughters stay here. I was able to speak with my daughter immediately and she sounded in great spirits and she felt safe. 3 weeks prior to this she was at Vista Del Mar in Ventura and that place was a nightmare. I spoke with her today and she still had nothing negative to say. I will update you on the rest at another time.
Experiencia fantástica: Thank you, so much St. Helen. U guys are the best. Keep doing what u guys are doing. I am inspired by u guys.
Experiencia fantástica: Best Partial Hospital Program available. I have been going here off and on for a few years. They have saved my life a few times, when I was so far down I couldnt see the light, they taught me CBT and DBT skills and the other patients in the group get to be like family and we help and count on each other. Its a program that when you have life issues and feel so very alone, you find out that you are not. Other people are actually experiencing the same things you are and they give you their opinions on works for them to help them carry on and its an open discussion, which I love. Not like Alcoholics Anonymous where you speak your mind and nobody can talk until the program is over. This is real time counseling. Brian Kellogg and Dr. Carroll are the absolute best not to mention Armondo that keeps the place rolling. There are so many staff members to praise that I would fill the page. If you are having problems with life or relationships or whatever, give it a shot, you wont be disappointed.
Experiencia positiva: Will not let u have even registered psychiatric SERVICE animal. Dr knowledgeable, bad bedside, caring staff.
Experiencia fantástica: This place is great. The skills and groups the teachings. They are helping me to live a good life and the understanding that I can. I never thought that there was a place where real people know and understand me. Thank you.
Experiencia positiva: They need to have a psychiatrist to give meds and not just the pediatrician. And, the parents need to be informed of any med changes. My child was over medicated as they didn't have correct dosages of his current meds but which I informed them of on day 1. And, it's much too difficult to get a hold of the one doctor who oversees my child's care whereas I didn't have problems at another hospital ín fremont. Psych testing was done when my child was sedated so the results are worthless.
Experiencia fantástica: U need it don't fight it. It worthy it.... thank u st Helena
Experiencia fantástica: My son (10) is here right now, I read the reviews after crisis had already left and my anxiety was through the roof thinking I sent my baby to a horrible place! This is his 4th day there and he is very vocal and tells me everything. He said the staff help him whenever he needs anything. He also said the groups and packets he does are helping him learn how to cope with his anger. He has an explosive disorder and bipolar disorder. He hasn't had any episodes there yet which is good. The staff have been amazing for me, they answer all my questions whenever I call. They have been very helpful in helping me understand their policies and what's happening with him. I don't understand all the negative reviews because there hasn't even been a suspicious moment. I will be there physically on Saturday, if my opinion changes then I will update this review. I hope this helps ease concerns of parents who have a child here. it's been great for us thus far!
