He and his staff genuinely care about helping you in the best way possible. My personal benefits are multiple, from being able to walk up stairs without holding on to something, improved balance, to just being able to put on my socks. By their focusing on my needs my quality of life is tremendously better. If you even think you may need Physical Therapy this is the place to go!!!

Dr. Brindle and Lesa helped me to get back to my normal life. I finished therapy about three weeks ago, it is so amazing to be vertigo free and feel wonderful. Experiencia fantástica: I discovered HOT PT and Dr. Brindle about a year ago when I had a fall that resulted in a fractured knee cap and Post Concussive Syndrome with migraines. He and his team have been very close to miraculous getting me mobile again and controlling my headaches. Dr. Brindle is a vestibular certified therapist who trains his staff to work with vertigo, migraines and brain injuries My therapist Lisa is top notch! So encouraging but never letting me shirk. :) Their adjunctive therapies are also amazing the Red light box and masseuse, Fi, are amazing and worked so well in conjunction with the traditional therapies. I highly recommend them!

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Brindle has seen both my husband and me for lower back pain. My doctor thought that shots in my back would help the pain, but the shots did not help much. After just a few sessions with Dr. Brindle, I am bending and walking with less pain. My husband has had equal success with Lisa. We think Heart of Texas Physical Therapy is wonderful!

Experiencia fantástica: My name is Teresa Cleveland I was a client for H.O.T Therapy right after my car accident. I didn’t think my arm would ever get back to normal, I went twice a week for a couple of months. I had to apply ice and take meds for my arm daily but the more I would go to Therapy with time the better my arm felt. After a few months my a is back to normal, I was shocked and surprised that I’m able to do what I use to do with no meds. Thanks so much H.O.T Therapy I definitely appreciate you!

All were very professional and helpful. I went in with lower back pain and sharp pain down my leg when standing for any length of time. They gave me a set of exercises that I have continued doing at home. I can now walk and stand for long periods without pain. I highly recommend them!

Chassidy was my therapist and she put me through my paces for sure - but made it fun. I actually looked forward to my therapy appointments! After that I had back pain and a knee injury. I live 40 miles away, but the drive was worth it. If your doctor recommends you have PT, request the orders be sent to Heart of Texas Physical Therapy.

Experiencia fantástica: TIA's left me with Vestibular damage that was so bad on my first visit I was in sunglasses and walking holding on to the arm of my husband. Two weeks later, great improvement. Four weeks feeling almost myself again. Six weeks later dismissed.So thankful for this place to be in Waco. Love the staff, friendly from front desk to walking out the door. Experiencia fantástica: Dr Brindle and Lisa are the best. I had major back surgery last October. Disc replacement, fusion etc. They had a very comprehensive recovery plan that now has me doing the things I did before my back issues. During the therapy for my back I had difficulty lifting above my head because there was a thought that I needed rotator cuff surgery on my right shoulder. Dr Brindle said he could help eliminate the pain. After about 8 visits I been pain free and have total use of my right arm. It was a frozen shoulder and no surgery is required. I want to Thank Lisa for her expertise and knowledge helping me through all of my visits. Everyone at Heart of Texas Therapy is outstanding and I would highly recommend them.

Experiencia fantástica: My experience with Dr J. Brindle was very positive. On my first visit he went through a battery of tests with me, explained in detail what was happening (my diagnosis was a type of vertigo) and took the time to answer all of my questions. I found him to be very personable and extremely knowledgeable. He created a treatment plan, I came into his practice twice a week (worked with Chasity - very grateful for all of her help) and he predicted I would start to see improvement between 4-6 weeks, which is exactly what happened. On the last day of treatment he thanked me for putting my trust in him and encouraged me to call if I ever needed him again. Since my last visit I have continued some of the exercises he prescribed and so far I have experienced no further symptoms. Lastly, the physical location of his practice was very convenient. You can actually park right at the front door and walk in. No 3 mile walks from the parking lot.

With this has come the opportunity to talk to patients and watch their progress over the course of their visits. Without exception, I have seen patients become stronger, more relieved of pain, and return to their normal course of life. Special attention is also given to identiying and treating the root cause of injury to ensure a lasting recovery. Frequently, I have been taken aside by patients for no other reason than for them to tell me how happy they are with the care they are recieving. They emphasize how at Heart of Texas Physical Therapy they feel as if they are not just another injury to fix, but are getting genuinly personal care and attention. Experiencia fantástica: I suffered from constant vertigo for almost two years. A few months after it began, the daily queasiness and headaches began. My doctor sent me to an ENT who diagnosed me with Vestibular Migraines. He recommended I see Dr Jacob Brindle with HOT Physical Therapy. I can honestly say, after 3 visits with him, I could begin to see a difference. After a few visits I began to see my life returning to normal. I have finished with my PT and all symptoms are gone!! He was very caring and took time to explain the how and why of the process. Amy at the front desk was always very friendly and willing to work appointments around my schedule. Experiencia fantástica: The team at hotpt is top notch!!! I have been suffering with back pain for close to 20 years and had to go to the chiropractor multiple times a year for realignment. My doctor recommended physical therapy and I said ok without expecting much from it. I was so wrong!! My back and my whole body felt much stronger after each session. Dr. Nathan would explain why we were doing the exercises, he would challenge me a little more each session. He didn’t only address the current issues I was having, he also gave me the tools to continue to improve myself after the sessions are over. The hour you pay for is you getting individual attention rather than sharing your time with other patients, and Dr. Nathan is super knowledgeable and helpful! Would definitely recommend for anyone seeking relief from fibromyalgia symptoms.

Experiencia fantástica: I participate in Jacob's "Legends" fitness class, which meets at 9 a.m. each weekday. I was looking for a strength-building class, and I sure found it. Jacob really puts us through a vigorous workout, but, being a physical therapist, he makes sure we are using correct form, so as not to cause any injury. Most of us are 60+, but this program is helping strengthen those muscles that have been just a bit too idle. Love it!

And while I thought they were okay at the time, I realize now how beneficial physical therapy can actually be when done right. Maggie really took time to understand my unique situation and give me exercises to target those problem areas. She was constantly asking me for feedback so she could taylor a plan just for me. Experiencia fantástica: I was diagnosed with vertigo 10 years ago. It has interfered with a lot of aspects of my life, but the worst part, for me, has always been that I get dizzy turning over in bed. After one session with Jacob, there was such a marked difference. I can actually tilt my head without getting dizzy. I walk steadier, I feel more in control of my body. Best part of all, no dizziness turning over in bed. Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Brindle and the PA, Josue are not your typical PT Dr. and PA. They specialize in treating you and not giving you "the treatment" as I have experienced before. I won't lie, I went in kicking and screaming because I had a bad taste in my mouth and felt it would be a waste of time. Since I have been working with Heart Of Texas Physical Therapy I have learned more about my physical self and how my body operates than I can explain in a review. I can only say that I am happy to finally be under the care of a PT Dr. that works with me and doesn't stick me on a bike and have me stretch bands in the corner, while he paces the room. This one-on-one therapy is dedicated to just "me" as the patient. I don't share my hour with 5 others vying for assistance and instructions as to what to do next. If ever you need a PT, ask your doctor for the referral here..... You will be glad you did.

Experiencia fantástica: Jacob and Maggie were the absolute best. As a former D1 athlete, I’ve had my share of injuries leading to working with different physical therapist/chiropractors. The sport medicine staff at my university were top notch due to me being a competitor for the school. The staff at HOT PT made me feel as if I was back in college. The attention and emphasis they put on my rehab was above and beyond. It’s obvious they truly care about your progress as an individual. Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Brindle is the best physical therapist I have seen in years. His goal is to condition your body beyond injury. After 9 sessions that included challenging, but excellent strength training workouts, I've felt stronger and more capable doing normal daily activities (like moving furniture around my house) that used to cause me pain and discomfort. Each session is one on one with Dr. Brindle so you get the kind of undivided attention you deserve from a medical professional instead of being pawned off to an assistant or intern. Jacob also offers personal training and medical massage therapy at his practice. If you have an injury that has been bothering you I highly recommend you schedule an appointment!

Experiencia fantástica: Dr Jacob Brindle is the most outstanding physical therapist I've ever worked with! My dentist referred me to Dr. Brindle because he knew about his specialized training and expertise in helping vertigo sufferers. He also knew I had spent an entire year going to many doctors and specialists WITHOUT relief. After 1 visit and a few weeks of customized daily activity at my home ..the vertigo was gone. That was almost three years ago! Now, I'm 71 years old trying to cope with sciatica and SI joint problems that cause excruciating and debilitating pain. Dr. Brindle is helping me build strength in my core, legs and lower back. He was the first doctor to identify the SI joint problem and has helped me understand what it takes to deal with it. Jacob is a highly skilled profess ional, compassionate, a great listener, extremely knowledgeable and goes far beyond the usual care patients/clients receive. I trust him and he is truly the BEST!

I have gone to doctors and chiropractors for lack of mobility and pain in my left leg and I thought it was something I was going have issues with for the rest of my life. Within a couple of months Dr. Brindle helped my pain subside almost completely and gave me ways to help at home. He is a doctor who genuinely cares about his patients and the community and it is completely evident in his approach. Would recommend to any of my friends or family.

Experiencia fantástica: I am going to agree with all the reviews that have already been stated. Dr. Brindle is the absolute best. My story starts about 3 years ago when I experienced back issues and my options were presented to me in this order...Pain management (shots-12 total a session- 3 sessions total)....Physical Therapy. Those methods did provide temporarily relief but the ultimate relief was surgery (in my case). The surgery was a spinal fusion of my L4 through S1...6 screws and 2 rods (was a success). The surgery was July of 2017. Lets fast forward to July 2018 were my L3 disc ruptured and I went under the knife again (actually 5 surgeries in 2 years). This surgery went totally sideways. During the surgery my nerve was torn (twice) due to scar tissue that developed from my previous surgery and I was leaking spinal fluid. I was basically in the hospital for 29 days and 19 of those days were in a coma and in ICU. After all said and done I had to basically learn how to walk while redeveloping leg strength. The reason for the background story is that my job demands that I be in good physical shape to perform my job. I was in my opinion, in a very good athletic state to the previous surgeries. I ran, rowed, biked and lifted weights. Dr. Brindle presented realistic goals and shot me straight and stated that I will be back to my old self, with hard work and a positive mindset. His positive attitude, his determination to push...even when you want to quit, he presents the end result of the session will be rewarding. He sits and talks and shows compassion and takes the time to listen, really listen to what you have to say. I have a saying that I am 99.9% back. I will never ever be 100%. The reason for that is, I am not the way the Good Lord made me, I am altered. Dr. Brindle has made me 99.9% Kendra Pole - massage therapist Kendra is exceptional at her profession. I was so nervous and basically scared to be touched/massaged/stretched/pulled in such an area that is sensitive - to me. Kendra takes the time to listen and really focuses on what would be the best course of action. Kendra's knowledge of the muscular system and how to manipulate the muscle in a manner to relieve soreness is just mind blowing. I have have only had one massage with Kendra but I can guarantee that there will be a lot more. Going to end this with HOT PHYSICAL THERAPY provides you with the best, I mean best, overall care. HOT is definitely the elite of therapy in Central Texas. I can not thank you or Kendra enough for giving me back my life...God Bless

Experiencia fantástica: Dr Jacob Brindle is a God send for me. I have arthritis, disc bulges and degeneration throughout my spine, mild stenosis at L1/L2 and herniation at L4/L5. I was given the option of surgery and pain medications that limited my ability to function. I am amazed that only after a few sessions with Dr Brindle that I am no longer taking medications and that surgery is not the only option for me. Dr Brindle's knowledge and treatment have set me on a path of healing, strengthening, and improved self confidence. Thanks Dr Brindle!

Experiencia fantástica: I have spent a lot of time observing Dr. Brindle as a student volunteer this summer. He is highly motivated and a true expert in every sense of the word. Be prepared to work hard, but this is a man who loves his job and makes therapy fun. After observing multiple therapy practices in a variety of settings, I’ve come to understand the unfortunate reality of the modern day corporate healthcare system: oftentimes, money is the foremost priority. This is absolutely NOT the case with Dr. Brindle's practice. Rather than chasing dollars, he prides himself in being at the top of his field and providing the highest quality of care available. He wants to maximize patient outcomes as quickly as possible, and owning his own practice allows him to dictate the best course of action on a patient-to-patient basis. One of the things I respect most about him is that he truly cares about upholding strong ethics in the workplace. Doing things the right way matters to him. This next statement may seem trivial to some, but it’s an important one: you will never see him making notes on his computer while working with a patient. He makes sure to give you his undivided attention each and every session. It’s things like that which he takes pride in, even if it means he has to spend hours upon hours filling out paperwork long after he has finished seeing patients for the day. Here’s the bottom line: if you’re looking for a friendly, straight-forward, result-driven therapist who genuinely cares for the well-being of the patients and community he serves, then this is your guy.

Since seeing him, my back has been feeling much better, i feel like my body is stronger and now i have knowledge of things I can do on my own. He told my daughter that I would feel better than I felt before the need of a Therapist. Believe it or not that is the TRUTH! I've spent years suffering with pain from a sciatica diagnosis.I've been told that nothing short of surgery would correct my problem. I was in constant pain and walked with a serious limp. After seeing Dr. Brindle for two one hour visits my pain was almost gone and I was able to walk without limping for periods of time.
