Experiencia fantástica: I never would have believed it myself but we were in and out of the ER in under an hour! My son broke his radius bone in his arm playing football. They entered us info the system and took vitals and info. Then got us back immediately and the ER Dr. Wright was awesome! He calmed my son and spoke to him as a person and really cared about him. The X-ray machine was wheeled in and taken right there in the room - how cool was that! And then within minutes two nurses came in and talked with us as the cast was placed. Everyone listened to our questions and were so patient to answer them all. We are now headed home. Thank you Baylor Scott & White and especially Dr Wright!

Experiencia fantástica: I have never seen before a hospital with the level of love, & care this hospital provides for their patients! It’s amazing. The Rehab Facility in the women & children’s center has been the absolute best. My mother in law was at Providence previously and the level of care here at Hillcrest has been night & day comparison. The response time is crazy fast here! I mean within seconds. Which is how it should be, but coming from the 4th floor in Providence, where the wait time for her to go to the bathroom was 45 mins plus, this entire experience at Hillcrest was a very welcome surprise. My husband and I cannot thank the Hillcrest Rehab team enough for all the kindness, support, and care they have shown our loved one & continue to show. BIGGEST thank you’s to: Vernon, Wendy, Gwen, Kay-Kay & Flo at the inpatient Rehab. Y’all have been tremendously helpful and so amazing. You just don’t understand how appreciative we are for just simply CARING! ❤️‍ Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!!

Experiencia fantástica: I work for BSWH, however, as walking in from a personal view, I appreciated the professional and courteous respect that the staff provides. I went in yesterday and today and met my brand new grandson. My experience was flawless. The L&D staff always made sure to ask my daughter if it were ok to speak in front of us, sure to address her HIPPA rights. They were courteous. I felt comfortable with how tender they were with my grandson and my daughter. Thank you.

Experiencia fantástica: Perrin Spears ICU BSN, RN. I just wanted to say thank you for going beyond your role for taking care of my grandmother Frankie Mae Evans back in the beginning of June 2023. Perrin did more than the other ICU staff!!! She made sure everything was correct and in order before she left the room. She took her time and I noticed the attention she was giving to my grandmother. If I had the power to give you the highest salary in the ICU unit you’ll have it… I pray this reaches out to you

Experiencia fantástica: I work at a doctors office, and I have heard so many bad stories about BSW. Well, this weekend I had no choice but go to the ER with the most severe abdominal pain I've ever experienced. From the moment I got there, I was taken care of by every staff member immediately. I was listened to, and I was treated with compassion. I got my XR and CT done very quickly and when the results came back turns out I had an ovarian cyst burst and hemorrhage into my abdomen. The ladies who did my CT were amazing to me, even when I was yelling in pain. The ED doctor, Dr Hartman was amazing. Then I was transfered to post partum and the nurses there were incredible! Michele, Michele and Caison treated me with pure compassion. I want to personally thank everyone for turning a truly scary experience into something I won't soon forget.

Experiencia fantástica: I recently had an emergency surgery here with Dr. Kopitnick. I was driving home from visiting family and had to stop with terrible stomach pains. Though there was (and is expected) a bit of a wait in the ER, once they did labs and examined me they got me back quickly to begin my surgery for a stomach perforation. I had a wonderful team while I was in the hospital recovering for a week post this surgery. Nurses were great and made a scary experience manageable and were very helpful. Any questions I had were taken seriously and answered well to address anything I was concerned about post surgery/during recovery.

Experiencia fantástica: I was admitted into BSW Hillcrest on July 22 for surgery with Dr. Wang. It was the best experience I could have ever asked for. All of the nurses and people who took care of me were so kind and attentive to my every need. They all took such good care of me! I would highly recommend Dr. Wang if you don't already have an OB/GYN. Thank you all so much!!

Experiencia fantástica: I just have to say we were treated as if we was celebrities!!! The labor and delivery unit was beyond attentive to our daughter who was 27 wks when we arrive! Answers questions and listen closely Dr Smith and her crew gave me peace when our heart was unsettled! The nurses Andy, Alexia was just Amazing! But MRS ERIKA you became family and we will truly miss you, she was such a advocate for our daughter after she labor for 7 days! Erika we love you and will miss you!

Experiencia fantástica: My son was in the SICU. He was in a Coma,due to a massive Heart Attack.I live in Florida. The Nurses were EXCELLENT. HEATHER, TERRI, AMANDA, RUTH, there were others whose names I don't remember.I was calling them while enroute, they kept me well informed. Dr. Chin was nice also. My only issue was the Cardiologist, Dr. Stewart Jacobson. He never called me. In 4 days not one word. I can't say enough good things about the Nurses. What was upsetting is they had him listed as a John Doe. They had his wallet and driver's license. The woman from accounting called me and wanted to know who was going to pay the bill. His insurance card was in his wallet. The Chaplin came into my son's room after he passed with a list of Funeral homes. A case manager called and spoke to me because I was so upset. My son received exceptional Medical care. The rest of it leaves a lot to be desired.

Experiencia fantástica: I commend Baylor Scott and White Hillcrest hospital here in Waco Tx. Their staff of doctors, and nurses are praying over daddy, and treating him with so much love. ICU Nurses Ruth, and Nurse Jen, Dr. Perez, and Dr. Tobar We could not have asked for a better group of medical staff who have shown they are human, and they do care. They have cried with us, and Prayed with us. They are just as invested in daddy’s recovery as we are. Thank you so much. Thanks to your expertise our loved one is not going to be a casualty statistic of Covid-19. They have been a God send, and a blessing to the hospital, and their patients, and their patients families!! Thank you for your service, and your continued compassion, and work to help your patients beat this disease! ❤️❤️❤️❤️. Also I cannot just give thanks to them without also acknowledging the doctors who helped My husband in 2019 Dr. Amaechi , Dr Brochu, and Dr. Nguyen and all the nurses at the cancer center played a huge part in His recovery from cancer. His healing was all God! My family chose this Hospital to care for our needs. My children were born there. They just continue to hire knowledgeable, and caring staff that would be hard for other hospitals to rival.  ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Experiencia fantástica: Laney Laramore- We go to Hillcrest for all of our care, but I wanted to review on my 2nd birthing experience there. It was just as smooth as the first. I love Dr Patterson and the care she gives through the whole pregnancy. I switched to her from a different provider in my first pregnancy and there was no question she would be my doctor for the 2nd. She explains everything thoroughly and never treated me like I was ignorant. I also want to say how amazing our nurses were in recovery! 3 in particular, Renee, Kenzie and Michelle. They were very personable and easy to talk to. They didn’t act like I bugged them with questions or anytime I buzzed the nurses station. Renee had such a great sense of humor! They were our favorites! My L&D nurses Ashleigh and Erika were awesome too! They had such great compassion through the pain, and showed us great hospitality. Ashleigh was very welcoming when we came in and explained everything to a T. I love Hillcrest, they made the labor/delivery, and recovery process go so smooth both times I’ve been there. 10/10 recommend!

Experiencia fantástica: Amazing hospital with amazing staff!!! I cannot praise this hospital high enough. I had to go to the Emergency room last week. My ED experience was phenomenal. It was very busy when I came in but the nurses and doctor took the time to listen to me and made me feel like I was their only patient. I've also visited a family member and a couple of friends that had to be admitted. My friends and family had equally wonderful experiences. If you are sick enough to have to go to a hospital, go to Baylor Scott & White. You will be treated with respect and receive phenomenal care!

If you're ever in the ER here you might see one nurse named Anastasia! The best, prompt, and most relaxed nurse I've ever seen....

Experiencia fantástica: My wife, children, and I have had multiple experiences and care episodes at this hospital and every time I have been impressed with the caring and kindness. We had a nurse in post-partum who was so meticulous in answering every question, anticipating every need, and just demonstrated such beautiful human kindness. We've also gone there for a lot of different lab draw visits or other odds and ends to do up at Hillcrest. We're consistently greeted with smiles, friendly faces, and people who make us feel like we're welcome to the crazy complicated hospital world. I'm always grateful for that - good job Hillcrest at easing some of the anxiety of going to the hospital!

Experiencia fantástica: Went to the er with my wife, didn't take long to get called back for vitals, an hour or so later she's in the room. Very fast time considering it was a weekend and the waiting room was busy. EEveryone there was apologizing for the wait time. Had to be admitted to the hospital and limited rooms means a long wait time (6 hours) again the hospital staff was very apologizing and did everything to keep her comfortable. Now she's in a very nice room and all the staff are very supportive. Thank you Hillcrest for being the BEST HOSPITAL in Waco Texas

Experiencia fantástica: I would like to thank Dr. Wang and her team for the exceptional care that I received at Baylor Scott and White Medical Center on December 13th through 15th, 2021. The level of professionalism and care was nothing less than perfect. I would highly recommend Dr. Wang as a gynocologist and for any other related medical services. Surgeries and hospitals can be frightening, so to have everything go well and the staff being as attentive as they were, is priceless. As my Gynocologist Dr. Wang is also very attentive, caring and listens. It can be challenging to find good service in today's world. I'll make it a little easier for you. See Dr. Wang. She is exceptional at what she does. Again, I would like to extend a big thank you to the entire staff, nurses, housekeeping, anesthesiologist, dietary and everyone involved in my care, for the wonderful service that they provided. Experiencia positiva: Came in to get an MRI & a mimeograph it was a bit confusing if you do not deal with the hospital often. I had to go to Building 1.. Make sure you park on the side not the front because you will be walking around. Go to the entrance where the doors spin ???? as I got there I was greeted by an older gentleman which show me where I needed to go which was GREAT!! But as I walk in the office to get checked in the guy checking you in was rude not friendly at all nor does he greet you. Than the lady that called me to go to the back was even ruder ???? I felt so uncomfortable to even get the procedures done. I really wish that if you are sick or have an issue that your doctor sends you here for testing it needs to be done better I mean your already anxious and if the staff could at least greet you and make YOU feel comfortable and welcome while been there it makes the visit a lot better. I hope my doctor does not send me back to this place to get anymore testing done because i felt very sooo unwelcome the entire time I was here. Other than that it is very clean beautiful decor. They have complimentary coffee which is AWESOME if you were like me just waking up and need a boost to wake up. ????

Experiencia fantástica: My recent experience with this center has been nothing but pleasant. My situation was painful and unpleasant but the stuff made at not only bearable but easy to get through with their kindness. I was moved from the emergency wing to the labor and delivery and my two nurses Brittney and Tyler were outstanding. They went above and beyond to make sure that I was comfortable when I got out of surgery and were super sweet to me even though I was a smidge cranky when I was waking up from anesthesia, they stayed patient immersed super kind with me. The Doctor Who performed the surgery was also very thorough and kind when he was Explaining how he was going to perform it. The anesthesiologist explained his side in his process of doing things very thoroughly with kindness and it made it way more comforting and calmed my nerves. I highly recommend this place over anywhere in Waco.

Experiencia fantástica: I was seen this afternoon and evening in the ER. I went in with pain in my right side and the er was packed yet I was treated extremely well by every single staff member I came across from beginning to end. I'd like to let administrators know about a few individuals I was most impressed with starting with the xray tech, he was probably the friendliest most compassionate xray tech I have ever dealt with and having copd I've had more than a fair share. Next is my nurse I think her name was Sarah but not positive. She came on at 7pm. She was super caring and definitely takes pride in her job as a nurse. Last but not least Dr Houser is by far the BEST Er physician in Tx. Thank you to all for the excellent care.

Experiencia fantástica: In 2-1-2018, I was rushed via ambulance to Hillcrest. I've never been to a Texas hospital before, however, heard a lot of bad things about them. The staff was very friendly, very attentive and was shocked because I thanked them for whatever they were in my room to do, even taking blood. This time, Hillcrest is full and has been for 3 months. They are sending me to Providence. They has a lot of one stars. I will leave a review for them too. However, last time I had insurance. This time I'm on disability and no health coverage. We will see.

Experiencia fantástica: Women’s and Children’s wing is incredible. Dr Bauchofen is a fantastic OB. Nurses in both labor and post partum are top tier quality. We’ve never been cared for so intentionally.

The Cancer Center staff has provided us with the finest medical treatment in such a wonderfully caring manner. Central Texas residents are very fortunate to have such a First Class medical care center in Waco.

Experiencia fantástica: My family member just checked into the ED at 11:52 am and all finished by 1:30 pm. They reported that everyone they encountered was courteous and professional. They were seen by Dr. Andrew Fayler. He took the time to answer their many questions and were detailed and respectful and he never made my family member feel rushed or stupid as some doctors can have a superior attitude and Dr. Fayler did not. They were given advice and prescriptions. ER Department was clean and seemed to run smoothly. My family specializes ( like seriously as in a side job ) in giving businesses feedback and reviews so we are picky and especially with medical providers. There are no complaints. Once I recieve more feedback I can update this review. Thank you to the hospital for taking care of my adult child in a profficient manner!

Experiencia fantástica: 2 years ago I had my Four incisions done on my stomach I had real bad gallstones and affected gallbladder both of those were taken out I was prounced dead on the table but the doctor brought me back to life I Want to thank! Jennifer if she still working their. I am coming back to Jennifer I have a Buffalo hump on the back of my neck.I am in such pain i'm not able to sleep at night because of that reason, I need to know can I come up their to have my neck examination due to a Buffalo hump I need a surgeon to remove the Buffalo hump.

Experiencia fantástica: My elderly mother had an unexpected but fatal stroke. She spent her last hours at Hillcrest. The staff were all compassionate, sensitive, sensible - which is often not the case for a hospital, in my experience. Even more, they helped us figure out how to release her body for a home burial rather than use a funeral home. Thank you, Hillcrest, and keep up the outstanding work!

Experiencia fantástica: I was in waco for a funeral, unfortunately..I had a seizure..never in my life had that happened..the staff was unbelievably wonderful to my husband and me. Gotta hand it to the fire and ambulance techs..they were so nice and patient..I had no clue what happened to me and will always be grateful for such kindness..
