The therapists are professional and friendly. They make therapy sessions so much more enjoyable. I highly recommend this group for any physical therapy help you need.

Experiencia fantástica: I have nothing but good things to say about UPTS! I had partial knee replacement in August & my recovery was longer & much more frustrating than I was expecting. I couldn't have gotten through it without ErinLee & Michaela. They pushed me, but they were always so encouraging, validating & kind. They took time to listen to my concerns & quickly became friends. They celebrated even the tiniest improvement & kept my spirits up. I was there twice a week for about 3 months & the entire staff became like family. Dr. Brian, who wasn't even part of my team, often took the time to check on me. He was so empathetic when he could tell I was discouraged. Bobbi, TJ, Sam & Brady were great too. I've never had an experience like this one at PT. The entire office became my own group of cheerleaders & I'm grateful to all of them for helping me reach my goals:)

Experiencia fantástica: ErinLee @UPTS took the time to really understand and diagnose what was causing me to have debilitating recurrent back pain by having me do several movements to isolate the source of my pain, which was not at all what I had expected it to be. She had me do several exercises tailored to my issue. I am feeling much better and will continue to do the exercises she gave me. Also everyone there is always in a great mood and very positive and encouraging. And the stretching table that you might think is some kind of medieval torture device actually makes you feel fantastic. Thanks so much to ErinLee and Sam and Bobbi. btw I had a previous experience with a different physical therapist some years ago that just gave me some stretches to do and was not very helpful. After visiting UPTS I suspect those might even have made my problems worse.

She’s professional, compassionate, teaches, and overall treats you like a friend rather than a client. Everyone in their office is so nice, very helpful, and always accommodating. I plan on coming back in the fall for additional post op treatment and wouldn’t want to go anywhere else.

Experiencia fantástica: I recently tore both my ankle tendons (had to have surgery) and then I had to have a shoulder surgery a couple months later. I chose Utah Physical Therapy Specialists because of their proximity to my house and also because of their great reviews on-line. I was not disappointed! I ended up going to Brian Rodriguez and his team (Whitney included). Brian and his team are AMAZING! They listen, they are compassionate, they are so knowledgeable and helpful! They didn't just have me work on exercises alone...they spent one-on-one time with me every time and worked on my ankle and/or shoulder and then had me do exercises, supervised at the clinic. Brian sent me home with helpful exercises to do at home. I have had such great improvement. My motion and movement is much improved and the pain is so much better! I know I couldn't have healed without physical therapy and I would highly recommend Brian Rodriguez and his team to anyone needing physical therapy! They're exceptional!! Oh, and they are so friendly and fun and kind!! Great team!!!

Experiencia fantástica: For almost 2 years I had excruciating back pain to the point that I couldn't sit, drive, put on my shoes, or even play with my four kids. When I first met Brian and Whitney I wasn't so sure that physical therapy would provide the relief I needed. They both brought so much positive energy to every therapy session, and it helped mentally along with physically. I thought it would take six to eight months before I would see any sort of pain relief, but after only 6 visits I was able to sit again, drive again, play with my kids. I was so amazed that I was able to progress in such a short amount of time that it gave me more energy to continue to work hard! I'm extremely grateful for Brian and Whitney and would highly recommend them!

I’ve struggled with concussion symptoms for months and I’ve seen several doctors and several physical therapist, none of which matches Erinlee at Utah physical therapy in West Jordan. They had a detailed plan, they logged my progress constantly, resolved numerous symptoms, and treated me extremely well throughout the entire process. I strongly recommend this team!

Experiencia fantástica: Treatment with Utah Physical Therapy Specialist has been exactly what I needed. March 2022 I was diagnosed with moderate-severe C4-5 stenosis with numbness and tingling in my arms. Ive suffered with chronic headaches for years not knowing the cause. Brian came highly recommended. He evaluated my neck and shoulders and immediately found the problem. His plan included several different exercises in the office as well as specific exercises at home. I was impressed with the outcome even after the second visit. I no longer have "neck headaches". Update May 2022 moved on to treatment for my chronic lumbar and hip issues. This therapy plan has been amazing and is really working. Brian's also been using 'dry needling' on my hip before the exercises. It has significantly reduced my pain!!

Experiencia fantástica: I selected Utah Physical Therapist Specialists not only because of the positive reviews, but because Brian’s profile said he specializes in “complex cases.” Having a condition for 11 years which has been difficult to diagnose and treat, I figured I’d give it a shot. After a few months of PT, Brian was honest with me - we were doing all we could and I wasn’t seeing lasting improvements. Since I had exhausted conservative measures (PT and other treatments), I decided to seriously consider surgery. After years of appointments, testing, and misdiagnoses, Brian was the first to suggest I see a vascular surgeon. Brian noticed I had vascular symptoms in addition to neurological. Turns out I really needed surgery. 6 days post-op I was back working with Brian and so thankful for it! I am confident recovery has gone much smoother because of the careful stretching / nerve glides he does, in addition to my at home exercises. Having this risky surgery was one of the hardest and best decisions I have made. I finally see improvements for the first time in 11 years instead of getting worse and worse. Brian and his staff are professional, compassionate, and supportive. Dealing with an injury or chronic pain can be extremely discouraging and having a specialist in your corner who truly cares about and encourages you is so important. Brian told me early on he would help me however he could, and he meant it. I would recommend Utah Physical Therapy Specialists to anyone, especially someone with thoracic outlet syndrome.

Experiencia fantástica: Steven Lege is a great Physical Therapist. He was able to work with me to make sure I was doing everything correctly but also careful to make sure it was the best fit for my arthritis pain. I would highly recommend him. The clinic is small but private at the same time. He provided me with online videos of the way to correctly do the exercises when at home. It is hard to look at pictures and remember when I go home so this was great. He is very kind and understands the restrictions a patient may have. It was a very helpful experience to my healing. Experiencia fantástica: They say you come as a patient and leave a friend and boy do I feel that way. I've loved getting to know the team, particularly Brian, Danielle, Stephen, and Alex. They were very supportive and helpful. I'd been to PT before but quit early on because I felt more like a number than a face. NOT THE CASE HERE! I went through about a month of therapy (twice weekly) asking with a home program that strengthened by back and increased my flexibility, making it easier to pick up my son out of his crib, okay with him in the floor, and sleep without pain. I'm very grateful for their help and would recommend them to anyone in need of physical therapy!

Experiencia fantástica: I went to UPTS after a reverse shoulder replacement hoping to find the best physical therapist for me to have my best outcome. This was it, and Steve was outstanding! I always felt welcomed by friendly staff in a clean facility. Today was my last session after almost 3 months working with Steve and I am excited at my progress. He always listened to me and adjusted exercises to meet my needs. His knowledge and experience helped me feel safe at the clinic and in doing my exercises at home. I really appreciated when he'd tell me specifically how I'd made progress since the last session which encouraged me to continue trying to meet my goals. I highly recommend Utah Physical Therapy Specialists and Steve, who is pretty great.

Experiencia fantástica: I am so grateful I was recommended to come here for PT. I had a tumor that damaged a lot of things. One thing that it did was weaken my left arm/shoulder movement. It caused me eventually to have a frozen shoulder. When I first started coming to therapy I had very little arm movement. Thanks to Brian and Whitney I can move my arm more than I ever thought I’d be able to. They encouraged me and helped me work through the pain. Thank you for helping me and cheering me on.

Experiencia fantástica: Can't say enough good things about this place! I went in barely able to walk, tie my shoes, bend over or get out of bed. After several treatments with Erinlee, Caleb and Sam, I literally can't believe the difference. Not only did they fix all the previous issues, they asked me specific things I was missing doing in my life. For me, that's yardwork. Digging holes, pouring concrete, walking around. They made custom exercises to specifically improve on those things. Where else would do that?!? They provided exercises for me to do at home and helped monitor that. They really care about you. They asked about my weekends, my family, remembered important things I had coming up. Fantastic, truly fantastic. Twice while I was there previous clients "just popped in" to say hello! That is loyalty and friendship that can only be inspired by these amazing folks.

Experiencia fantástica: I came in with some sciatic nerve pain down my leg and into my foot that really impacted my daily life. Brian Rodriguez evaluated me and made a plan for me that completely changed and improved my ability to do my daily tasks. I loved that he had a plan that had an end date. Other physical therapists have made me feel like I was going to be seeing them every week for the rest of my life. Not Brian! I’m walking away with a plan set in place for me to work on at home and the ability to contact them at any point in the future with questions.

Experiencia fantástica: Had an ankle reconstruction in May 2022 and was not prepared for how intense recovery would be. Went first to a reputable PT chain in Utah and left in tears because the therapist spent all of 5 minutes with me, and the aids explained all the exercises and left while I completed them on my own with no assurance that the pain was good or bad or that I was doing them correctly. I called Utah Physical Therapist Specialists and they got me right in. Erinlee spent a solid 45 mins with me evaluating my surgical notes, the condition of my ankle, listening to my fears and concerns, and talking about what these next 6-12 months would look like. Every visit after that included 20-30 minutes of concentrated time with Erinlee, and another 30 minutes with the aid watching my every move. I felt heard, supported, and more confident after each visit and milestone. It's a small team (3 therapists) so everyone knew me by name, joked with me during my visits, and made me feel special. I could not have gotten through my recovery without Utah Physical Therapy Specialists. AMAZING group of humans. 5/5 Recommend.

Dr. Rodriquez and his crew have worked extensively with me to get me back to full strength for both of my jobs of firefighting and bullfighting. Because of the hard work of the great people at Utah Physical Therapy Specialists I was able to make a full recovery from ACL surgery in less than 3 months. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone that has any sort of injury or pain or just needs help stretching or strengthening. Huge thank you to them!

Experiencia fantástica: I recently had a Lateral Meniscus Transplant surgery done on my right knee after 3 prior meniscus scopes done on it. This surgery was the next best thing to try and save my knee before a full knee replacement will be required. I worked with ErinLee in the past after a back surgery and specifically requested her as she’s amazing. She is professional, extremely knowledgeable, friendly and is extremely compassionate along the way, especially in the first few sessions I had where I was experiencing quite a bit of pain still. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone whose looking to have a healthier lifestyle and is wanting to get back to an active lifestyle, she’s your gal!!

Experiencia fantástica: When I first went to see Brian at Utah Physical Therapy Specialist, I had been dealing with a severe herniated and bulged disc for months. I had tried several methods to heal my back, including medication, spinal injections, chiropractic help, and more. Nothing was helping and it was severely affecting the way I was able to live everyday life. My back specialist highly recommended that I go give Brian a try at my recovery, before considering surgery to fix my back problems. I was nervous to go to physical therapy as I had heard from others about their negative experiences other places. However from the moment I walked in on the first day, to the last day I left the office, I felt completely cared for by Brian and his entire staff. Brian takes each persons situation who comes into his office personally, and you really feel he is giving his undivided attention to your personal needs. This reflects in his staff as well, Alex and others are all so friendly and caring and want the very best for you, which is recovery, back to normal. I was slumped over, had a hard time walking or standing any distance, bad spinal shift, was uncomfortable to sit or lay down, all caused from my herniated and bulged disc. Brian started me off slow with very light stretches and range of motion exercises. They are all very attentive to detail and needs, what your body is willing to do. As the exercises at the office and at home worked more and more, different exercises were added to slowly retrain your body to return back to normal functionality. Their attention to detail, take it personal mindset, positive attitude, and experience in physical therapy methods are unmatched. Without them, I would still be very limited and dealing with my pain. I am now back to normal activities and enjoying life again. I actually looked forward to seeing them all each week, they made a bad situation into a great experience, and I would not go anywhere else because of it.

Brian Rodriguez helped me with my back some 6 years ago and the exercises he gave me for maintenance after he got me back to normal, have kept me out of trouble ever since. I am now back to him with issues with my neck, and I am confident of a good outcome! His evaluation of what is happening to my neck was thorough and he patiently asks questions and then listens to what you have to say. I personally don’t think I could be in better hands!

Experiencia fantástica: I went to Utah physical therapy specialist after my total total knee surgery. I have worked with Brian Rodriguez PT. DPT before and had been very happy. Brain was very good at laying out a plan for me to fallow both in the office and at home. One of the things I really like is how positive he is as he pushes me to reach my therapeutic goals and get my range of motion back. I had 24 hour access to him with questions or concerns. I work directly with Brian and Alex most of the time. I also worked with Laurel and Amy. Their staff and other therapist are also great to work with and were very positive and welcoming too. I was very happy with my results and would highly recommend them to anyone needing a physical therapist.
