Experiencia fantástica: I've been working with a couple therapists for spinal nerve issues. The therapists are knowledgeable and very helpful, and willing to work with your schedule and preferences. They may try a variety of different techniques in order to help ease immediate pain and build up the needed strength to prevent it going forward. Getting in touch over the phone can be hit or miss as the line is often busy, but they are usually good about calling back if you leave a message. Alternatively, you can go visit them and chat with the front desk in-person – the staff are a delight.

Experiencia negativa: Sol is a nice facility and seems solid in their services, though I can't really compare. However, they told me that they accepted my insurance when I booked appointments. I then went through a series of visits only to get a bill from them that says that it was out of network and that they are charging me hundreds of dollars for each 30 minute session (which didn't even help me, given my circumstances). I went through a process and spoke with various representatives and tried to sort this situation out and was told that I would be called by someone who can help, but never heard back and continue to receive extremely expensive bills for low value services that I was told would be covered by my insurance. Sol, please get your processes and communication in order so that you can relate respectfully with your patients! Edit: responding to the owner's response, I have reached out and was told that someone with the power to resolve this would contact me. They still have not done so and continue to send me bills. This lack of care shows SOL to be operated as a faceless bureaucracy without accountability and I suggest you go elsewhere if you can.

Experiencia negativa: This is a horrible place rude front desk answers the phone and hangs up the phone. AND I WORK FOR A LAWYER AND SEND CLIENTS TO THEM. NEVER WILL SENT ONE OF OUR CLIENTS TO THIS FACILITY EVER AGAIN. ONLY IF I CAN TALK TO THE DOCTOR TO INFORM HIM WHAT TYPE OF STAFF HE HAS. MAKING HIM BE IN REALLY BAD TERMS WOTH LAWYERS. ILL INFORM OTHER AS WELL TO NOT SEND CLIENT HERE. DUE TO HOW RUDE THEY ARE WITH THE LAWYERS OFFCIE , I JUST IMAGINE HOW RUDE THEY CAN BE TO THE CLIENT. IF I CAN GIVE NO STARS I WILL GIVE 0 STARS

Experiencia fantástica: Love this place!! I've been working with Monica and Alex on some elbow/wrist pain during weight training, and they have been fantastic. This is definitely a PT you can go to for a wide range of problems (from acute injuries to general sports training/therapy) and they will work to get you back doing the sport or activity you love. Highly recommend coming here for any physical therapy needs! Logistically, it's also a great facility. Clean, convenient location, free parking, accepts insurance. I just "graduated" for my issue after working with them for a few months, but I will definitely be back any time I need to see a PT in the future.

Experiencia fantástica: I've had a lovely experience with the physical therapists here, they listened to my concerns with empathy and responded with knowledge and care. They took the time to review exercises with me and kept diligent track of my progress; I finished care feeling more like myself since my shoulder injuries.

Experiencia negativa: the receptionist is a liar and seems overworked because I had an agreement to work on lien with them due to a car accident I wait 2 months to see them then after 2 little appointments they lie and say my lawyer canceled the contract then when I called no answer and I show up to show them the lien agreement the receptionist had an attitude and I told her my lawyer didn’t cancel anything and then she calls me later to say ohh we stopped working with lien cases stopping my treatments right there and wanted payment right there like they never held up there end of the agreement and they make your appointments to spaced out to get any results go to another space they will only disappoint you

Experiencia negativa: while the PT remains solid, the billing practices are incredibly shady here. they have charged my credit card without authorization with no apologies. they have tried to bill me in error for something I didn't owe w/o apologies. they have harassed me multiple times by email and phone after I've asked them to not contact me. Based on this content, you'd think I owed them hundreds to thousands of dollars! Not so. They have done this b/c I wanted to let my insurance settle the bill first so I'd have an detailed statement so I can use my FSA card. I'm pretty sure they've broken some laws. Their admin is following rules that are crooked. Their PT Staff is good This is what happens when corporate america runs healthcare

All the positions and physicians assistance are wonderful, the office manager/owner is very involved, and all the staff are proud to work there. Really a pleasure to come for something that you wish you didn’t have to. They also take insurance and are very flexible. Easy to set up appointments and very accommodating since they have so many attending physicians. I’m working with Danielle and Alexander and they are wonderful.Thanks

Experiencia negativa: Super frustrating scheduling experience. I was advised by SOL (double confirmed by my medical insurer) that my PT was covered when I made an appointment for time-sensitive post-op therapy a month ago. After waiting a month, I get a call two days before, advising that they will no longer accept my insurance. This means I have to jump to the back of the line at another provider - further delaying my recovery. If you plan to use medical insurance at SOL, you might want to look elsewhere.

Experiencia fantástica: Aaron Bass-Cetinich has been my physical therapist at SOL, and I could not have had a better experience! He is super knowledgeable and truly goes above and beyond to provide excellent care and education. He is passionate about his work and makes each session as fun and helpful as possible!

Experiencia fantástica: SOL PT Berkeley is a warm, welcoming environment with very knowledgeable physical therapists. Danielle and Brent have supported my recovery from a serious nerve injury that left me unable to use my leg — their work with my has led to a rapid recovery and education on preventing reinjury in the future. They address my healing holistically, assessing and treating the entire body, and also encourage other healing modalities where appropriate. I plan to continue coming to SOL PT to stay strong even once this injury is behind me.

Experiencia fantástica: I suffer from back pain for years. I went to a few places around the bay area to try to fix the problem but I never got better. But here....James and Judy gave me my movement and body back!!. They were always listening and their advices on how to do the exercises was incredibly helpful on my rehabilitation. The first visit I had was to check me out and see how much I moved and what was my condition. James and Judy help me out so much and gave me a couple of exercises that i initially thought were not going to do a big difference but boy I was completely wrong. Those exercises started working after just a few sessions When I started I could barely touch my knees while bending over and it was painful to move from the bed or do any normal things. A few more sessions in and I was noticing much better movement compared to how I started. As I was progressing I got more intense exercises but I was finally having much more flexibility and movement on my body. Now I can finally touch the floor while bending over, something that I thought I would never do in my life because I have never been able to do it. For the first time in years I was finally not feeling my lower back. Not only my body improved but also my mood improved. I can finally lift my son without pain. I can finally start to look forward to not have lower back pain. Thank you so much guys for helping me out... I been living with chronic pain for years and it's been hard. Thank you James. Thank you Judy. You guys gave me my body back and I am extremely grateful for that

Experiencia negativa: First appointment was ok with Danielle but second appointment with another therapist was just terrible. The second appointment consisted of retelling my injury to the new therapist then again to another therapist in training. Walked around the facility to show them how I walk and showed them the 3 exercises I learned from the first appointment. With all of that said and only 1 new exercise shown the appointment in total was 21 minutes which is ridiculous. This therapy would by cost me anything as it was work related but I could not keep going felt like insurance fraud what a waste of time. I had hig h hopes with the great reviews but my experience was lackluster. If I were you ask only for Danielle because if you get the male therapist I got on the second appointment it's a total waste of time to drive there pay for parking and get literally no treatment

Experiencia fantástica: I've been impressed with the extent to which SOL provides truly individualized treatment. At age 80, and the mother of a severely disabled son, I've seen many therapists in action. SOL is definitely in the top tier.

Experiencia fantástica: I was referred to SOL by an orthopedic specialist. The staff at SOL is warm and welcomed me in. After my first session, Danielle gave me a regiment to help get me back on my feet. Her, Judy and Claire helped put me on a regular routine, and even though my injury turned out to be more severe, their attention to detail was amazing. I'd highly recommend SOL to everybody!

Experiencia fantástica: I am the most resistant to this kind of exercise and the most reluctant to do it. Danielle has sparked the light to do it, see the purpose of it and encouraged me to stick with it. She is very attuned to my resistance and need and excellent at clear communication. She brings a variety of moves so I am not bored and targets what is most necessary so I can see the progress right away. She definitely gets 5 stars!!!

Experiencia fantástica: Was able to get my initial appointment quickly without a long wait, and schedule the rest of my PT appointments promptly. Jennifer was very attentive and responsive. The space is clean and spacious, and ideally located with easy access from the freeway. My only gripe is that you can't reach a live person when you call the number--you always have to leave a message and wait for a return call, so it's not easy to notify them if you're running late to your appointment.

Experiencia fantástica: I have had problems with lower back pain and stiffness from lack of exercise caused by Parkinson's. My treatment at SOL Physical Therapy has been very successful. The lower back pain is no loner a serious concern. I can control it by exercise and body movement. The therapists at SOL pay attention to the details of my individual condition, and use a variety of techniques to treat my problems. My wife has been treated at SOL for back and hip problems. It was her recommendation that sent me to them.

Experiencia fantástica: So far, so good, after two appointments. I sought care here for two partial rotator cuff tears. The therapists are focused and understanding, and they motivate me to do the exercises at home--that's a near-miracle. The practice offers an app that includes videos of how to do the exercises. Friendly staff, too. They call back within a reasonable amount of time to answer questions.

Experiencia fantástica: I have recently had a full knee replacement and I am 4-1/2 months into this process and it has been a tough rehab. So I decided to get some outside PT and I started working with Devin who is very experienced. I feel really confident with his insight and knowledge and I really like the program of exercises that he has developed for me. I had plateaued with my current PT, I was not making progress and really with in a few weeks I am already on a much better trajectory. I am relieved to feel like I am in good hands with him and his team.

She has really helped me with an injury to my forearm. And the facility is clean, light and cheerful. The support staff is also terrific.

She answers questions, explains why she is assigning certain exercises, and verifies hypotheses with testing. She makes sure I am doing the exercises with correct form. She is kind and understanding, but encourages and pushes where needed. Her hands-on treatments are spectacularly good.

Experiencia fantástica: I've received excellent care from Jennifer Kim. I had been having unusual pain in my upper right thigh for 3-4 months and was advised by my doctor to see a physical therapist. I chose SOL Berkeley after reading their 5-star reviews, and met with Jennifer Kim. Jennifer's intake and examination were thorough; she explained her preliminary assessments to me, prescribed a number of exercises, and watched my movements closely. Now my pain is gone, and I cannot recommend Jennifer and SOL Berkeley highly enough.

As someone who likes to play hard, I’ve spent a fair amount of time in PT and this place is the best I’ve found. Recommend by my surgeon after spending 6 months at another facility with little results. Sol Berkeley had me back to playing in a few months. I can’t recommend them, all of them, highly enough.

Devon Ehrlichman is the best PT practitioner I’ve ever worked with - and there have been several during the course of my life! He listens, encourages, it is very knowledgeable. Devin also factors in the other circumstances of my life and it comes up with a plan that actually works for me. I’m thrilled to be his under his care.

And both of my PTs (Jenn and David) have been fantastic in diagnosing the problem and assigning appropriate exercises and routines to address it. My condition has already significantly improved, and the pain and stiffness associated with it dramatically reduced. They are really hands on and I felt confident I may fully recover in due time.

Experiencia fantástica: I highly recommend SOL Physical Therapy. For the past month, I have been having physical therapy twice a week at the Berkeley facility for my left shoulder. I have gone from limited mobility to almost full mobility and from being awakened in the middle of the night by intense arm and shoulder pain to no middle of the night pain. The program I was given was recalibrated on each visit to reflect my ongoing progress. I appreciated being taken seriously and am grateful to the team for their expertise in evaluating my injury and giving me a highly efficient and effective set of strength and mobility exercises to get me on the path to full recovery.
