Experiencia fantástica: Hello, my husband and I came to visit a very close friend of ours Michelle Borden Room 116A that we love very much on Monday October 28th. 2014 , we were very impressed, first the cleaniness of the place and the smell, there wasn't any, we were amazed before we even got to our friend's room, and when we got to the room at first we did not notice the setup of the room that came later, we noticed her smile it wasn't because we walked in the room it was different and the look on her face was different, that alone said it all. It was a look of satisfaction, of love and caring. We visited her at the other place it was not like that at all, oh she tried to smile but we saw through it. So different from the other place she came from which was horrible, the food, the care everything was horrible, since she's been with you she's improving everyday, don't get me wrong she wants to get up and out of there to be home with her daughter and the rest of the family. She's happy about her progress, we all are and we are looking forward to to the day she she can come home when the time is right, and we are all hoping it will be soon. Also, I have to say my husband went to use the bathroom not the patient and he came back to say that was the cleaniest bathroom he ever saw he complimented on it so much I wanted to go use it but I did not have to go at that time. Finally, it's been very hard on all of the family and friends, she is loved by all of us and we thank you for putting a smile on her face again that we have not seen in awhile. Please whatever you are doing keep it up because it means alot on both side. It's easier on the family to leave a love one knowing that they like the the place they are staying, and the same goes for the love one as well, when they are happy you are are happy. She wasn't soiled, her clothes were clean and not missing etc.I see a lot of new faces but with all that l saw on our visit and the attentiveness of the new staff we are very PLEASED! My son daughter in law were pleased as well. She got to meet her great granddaughter which made us very happy. Experiencia fantástica: I was at The SanaSouci Rehabilitation and Nursing Center to visit my brother-who is recovering fro Stage 1 colon cancer and who will still be undergoing chemotherapy sessions. The Facility is a very nice looking facility inside and out. The staff 9doctors,nurses, orderlies, receptionists and administrators and administrative assistant treat their patients with care and do everything their lives (as well as those who visit them) with care, courtesy, respect and dignity and do everything they can to make them happy and comfortable. Thank you, Sans Souci Rehabilitation and Nursing Center :) .

You are greeted a hardy hello and welcome as you enter the lobby. The staff is friendly and helpful, they seem to go the extra mile to let you know the person you came to visit is in good hands and that reassuring to family members and friends, so yes the center is "Awesome"...

Experiencia fantástica: I had a good experience with all the staff members they were all helpful and I was happy to be apart of the recreation department with helping them with the projects that needed to be done for the holidays all the staff members and the cna's treated me with respect and the therapy department was also kind and very helpful to were I am today I also think that all the ads and staff members should all get employee of the month awards and the social works were very help in my time of needs I also hope that all the staff members from therapy and occupational therapy and recreation department and the social works and the financial team to the administration department and the nurses that come in each and every day keep doing the good job to keep all there exciting clients and new clients that they have and to give them the encouragement to the clients to keep pushing and to have all of them keep pushing forward

Experiencia fantástica: My Mom , Rachel Thomas, was a patient there for rehab and recovery post surgery . She was given the most respective care and treated her with the utmost respect. The staff from the reception , rehab department , nurses, nursing aides , and all other staff are very attentive to the patient's needs . They amount of respect shown to the patient is the same they show to the family's and friends of the patient as well . They are well informed , knowledgeable , and well educated in their field. They facility is clean and well taken care of . I would highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for care for a parent or any loved one.

Experiencia fantástica: I never ever thought my mom would be in a nursing home unfortunately her health issues left me no choice Thank goodness for the wonderful staff here starting with Soumya Thomas who makes me feel like family Wonderful caring nurses like Marcelo Ona, Merlin Joseph and an amazing recreational staff Jennifer Sullivan, Omar and Anthony truly put all their love into their job They are awesome with EVERYONE and do some many wonderful activities Bridgette cares with all her heart to make sure my mom is doing well Even when I walk through the door and get greeted with a big smile from Stephanie Bernice helped me as well step by step with paperwork Again I am so grateful for everyone at Sans Souci for all their help with my mom I can sleep better at night

Experiencia fantástica: Sans Souci is clean, I was tested for COVID-19 before I could enter the patient area, and it seems they have plenty of staff for the number of residents. I was impressed with Sans Souci compared to other facilities that I have visited.

Experiencia fantástica: Sans Souci 12/24/2020 Last year I was a patient in 3 different rehab facilities. Each was worse than the last! Below is a picture of what looked like a monster to me. It was to watch me instead of a nurse or a loving staff member. I had nightmares all day and all night. By God’s grace my daughter found a social worker who gave her a long list of more rehabilitation centers. She and I saw Sans Souci Rehabilitation and Nursing home at the same time. The listing talked about families and loved ones. We both circled it. We didn’t look at any other place. Sans Souci Rehabilitation and Nursing Home has brought me back to life! I arrived here two weeks ago. I couldn’t walk without falling. I wasn’t certain of the year or the date. I was an afraid, bewildered. angry, and trembling woman. Today is Christmas Eve, I can walk without falling. I am getting more balanced both mentally and physically. I am learning to take the time to breath as long as I need to. It works, and I can become calm. So this year’s Christmas I will be celebrating at the beautiful Sans Souci and it’s amazing staff . I would like to wish them all a merry Christmas and happy holidays! By the grace of god next year I will be home celebrating healthy and strong with my lovely family

Experiencia fantástica: Sans Souci Rehab and Nursing is not just a facility. It is home away from home and it is family. When you enter, there is a feel of a boutique hotel tucked away in Yonkers. The entire staff is friendly, caring and responsive. There is a personal touch in which your relative is known by first name and is treated with respect. The administration and staff become vested in the overall well being of my father. It is a tough decision to have my dad not at home but he has received the care and support that my Mother and I could not provide. Most importantly, I have witnessed the implementation of improvements and the request to provide suggestions. Sans Souci is making every effort to be focused on continuous improvement in the overall resident experience. My Mother and I consider Sans Souci a part of our family.

Experiencia fantástica: I was sent to recover to Sans Souci Rehabilitation Center, after beating the Corona virus.It left my lungs severely inflamed and gave me two blood clots.Let me tell you the medical staff- nursing staff-physical & occupational staff-respiratory staff Mr. Terrance & Ms. Everrest also maintenance and house keeping staff. This group all made sure that my stay and recovery was as fast and pleasant as possible.This rehabilitation center paid special care to my treatment and care. I wish they would of had a ten star rating. I would of definitely given ten stars.This center is like the Taj Mahal of all rehab centers.Only small inconvenience I had was bathroom had no ventilation and the oxygen not in wall like hospital has.But I will recommend this rehab center to anyone that's recovering from Corona virus. Experiencia fantástica: When I 1st arrived at Sans SOUCI NURSING HOME. I was not being open minded. I've been here almost 4 months and things have been great. The staff here are very caring and compassionate. The new concierge Ben Orgel has been real helpful with my treatment.slong with the nursing director Angie and administrator Judah. All the nurses and aides have been ecellant. Believe me when I tell you that I probably could have been asked to leave many times. But the staff never gave up on me.

Experiencia fantástica: Sans Souci Rehab is a great place to get physical therapy and nursing care. There are lots of people like Aryeh, Mary, Lou, Bernice, Lee, Naomi, and Omar who go out of their way to help the residents. I wish I could stay here, but I'll come back and visit.

Experiencia fantástica: I WAS VERY SATISFIED WITH MY STAY AT SANS SOUCI REHABILITATION AND NURSING CENTER. WHEN I CAME IN I WAS DEPRESSED DIDNT WANNA LEAVE ROOM. THE RECREATIONAL DEPT, OMAR WOULD COME TO ROOM TO OFFER ME ACTIVITIES TO DO IN MY ROOM. HE WAS AMAZING UNTIL I FINALLY CAME OUT. EVERY DEPT ARE TRULY A GEM FROM ADMINISTRATION TO HOUSEKEEPING.THEY ALL LIFTED MY SPIRITS TRULY FELT AT HOME. THEY EVEN ALLOWED ME TO BRING MY FIRE STICK AND WHEN THAT WASNT WORKING MY DEAR FRIEND ARYEH WAS THERE TO THE RESCUE TO FIX IT FOR ME. I HOPE I NEVER HAVE TO GO TO A NURSING HOME AGAIN, BUT IF I DID IT WOULD BE SANS SOUCI REHABILITATION CENTER. THE REHAB WAS PHENOMENAL I NEVER BEEN TO BURKE REHAB, BUT PPL IN HERE WITH ME SAID THEY ARE AS GOOD AS BURKE. I TOTALLY AGREE!

Experiencia fantástica: I would like to say, that Sans Souci is a very nice place for my wife Nancy Prado to heal . it is very clean and has a nice and very efficient staff that really tries to help all of the residents. The Supervisor Ashley is always helpful. On the first day we arrived from Montefiore Hospital my wife was hungry . I asked Ashley for a sandwich and she went to the basement from the third floor and got Nancy a tunafish sandwich. I really appreciate that very much Also a male Nurse gave a boost drink. There area lot of people that have made her stay here comfortable. But the person that has helped us the most is the Administrator Nathaniel Gordon. Every time I have an issue that concerns my wife. he has alway helped her right away. Thank you and may God bless you all,

Experiencia fantástica: My Mother has been in Sans Souci for three weeks now. Due to the fact that I am a Pharmacist in the Medical Community, my expectations are very high. Im very happy to say that All my expectations have been exceeded ! From the first day, The Management was extremely knowledgeable , kind and helpful about my moms upcoming care. I met with numerous Administrators, Social Workers , nurses and caregivers who provided me with much of the information I needed. From that day on, the entire staff has been Great ! The Nursing Staff constantly checks on my mom and one of the Administrators checks-in with me almost daily to make sure all is ok. Im happy we choose this facility. Ken Schutte R.Ph
