Experiencia fantástica: I can't praise this place enough! This is the 3rd rehab that I have been in. The service has been good...like everywhere else staff is limited, but they try so hard to make sure that you are safe. My therapists are awesome...the food isn't great, but the staff will work with you and try to give you what you like. So far I am very pleased.

Experiencia fantástica: Since my Mother got sick our world has fallen apart. We try our best to care and comfort her and the task is huge. Adira has joined us in that task - providing nursing and rehabilitation. We have become one big family. Nurses like Laurence, Eleno, Kenneth and Jerrett are amazing. I have no words enough to express our gratitude to them for their impressive service and care in such a difficult time. As my Ma (Mom) is going thru with this acute disease, their attention to her care puts us at ease as we cannot be there 24/7. At the end of the day, rest of the family and I know that my Ma is in good hands.

The staff are very attentive, and caring, every staff member deserve a gold metal, high five to housekeeping for keeping this place clean from the moment you walk in to the very end of the building. The Director of nursing and her team are truth heroes. Adira you deserve a 100 star!

Experiencia fantástica: Amber Villarba is a role model Physical Therapist. She subtely & skillfully guides the patient through the exercise protocols. And, all the time provides supportive commentary. Her cues promotes confidence in the patient performer. She gives blue ribbon performance & is a strong asset to Adira Physical Therapy Department. 9/14/23 Arlene Seguine Mark the Nurse is a role model. He has an excellent public relations manner. He is prompt & attentive & carefully fills medication prescriptions & lidocaine patch orders. He is caring & successfully calms dementia patients. Mark is a strong asset to Adira Rehabilitation with his blue ribbon performance. Arlene 9/15/23 Rama is a Therapy Aide who exemplifies a role model. She carefully & promptly transports wheelchair patients to Physical Therapy. She protects their safety on route & graciously navigates them safely back to their rooms. She is a strong asset to Adira with her blue ribbon performance. Arlene 9/15/23 Ernst exemplifies the role model Physical Therapist. He adroitly guides the patient through strength & flexibility exercises. And all along presents encouraging commentary. He is a strong asset to Adira Rehabilitation & gives blue ribbon performance. This facility is always clean’ the fresh smell of bleach from the moment you walk in, shout-out to Ms Virginia. Experiencia fantástica: After a surprising stroke at 50 years old, I was referred by a trusted friend to Adira. I was certainly not dissatisfied with any aspect of the service. Adira was amazing and no way I would be where I am without the incredible therapy team, and can’t forget to mention how clean this facility is, whoever the Director of housekeeping is, keep up the good work!!!

Experiencia positiva: Last November my mother-in-law was admitted to Adira Riverside after a short stay at the hospital. The staff was caring and patient and assisted my family with all inquiries. I would like to especially thank Tiffany Jenkins for her friendly, professional, loving efforts that were above the call of duty. Tiffany made sure I was informed every time there was an update of any detail related to the care of my mother in law. She always knew exactly what to say to me and my husband whenever we felt our efforts were ignored by other family members. She assured us that my mother-in- law was getting the best care for this situation and they made certain she was comfortable. I will be forever grateful for Tiffany. We could not have made it through without her attention, time and focus. She is truly a blessing!!!

Experiencia fantástica: The care and devotion they showed my father, was uncredible. He was admitted for rehab on a hip fracture. After others gave up, Adira went above and beyond to make miracles happen, cant forget how friendly, caring and professional the staff were. And clean. We are forver grateful! Experiencia fantástica: We were a little nervous about sending our 85 year old aunt, but WOW we couldn't be HAPPIER! The staff is helpful & makes themselves available for questions. The rehab and speech therapy is GREAT!!!! The food is good. We gave them our preferences which they accommodated and we can bring my aunts favorites.

So far, the organization, efficiency and friendliness is much better then the last facility we were at. We had one minor concern but after speaking to the administrator Eric, it was handled immediately to our satisfaction

Experiencia fantástica: I was in this rehabilitation for 20 days . The staff were so great the physical therapy was great , the chefs was great , the nurses are great. They are very clean and very professional. They treat everyone with respect and equal . I’ve seen some bad reviews on here that people wrote and I will tell you this . I was in there for rehabilitation from a surgery they took well care of me . I’ve also seen that they treat the elderly people very good and are very professional. I will recommend this place to anyone that needs rehabilitation from surgery and even nursing home . I would like to thank Tiffany , Jessica, Christine and the people from recreation . They were so nice and helpful. I felt like I was home the entire time . I can’t remember everyone name but I will also like to thank Carlos the chef great food . And the staff that hands out the food . Take my word this place is great . Thank you adira for your service . Don’t believe any bad reviews on here I was there to see it for myself and my time there was nothing but good .

Experiencia fantástica: After breaking her leg and having emergency surgery, my Sister was transferred from Westchester Medical Center to Adira at Riverside. This all took place quickly and during the Covid lockdown. Without any knowledge of Adira she was transferred. She was accepted and settled in with the nursing and therapy staff. I spoke with the Director of Client Services, Ms. Tiffany Jenkins. This woman is extremely knowledgeable, dedicated and is extremely enthusiastic in helping in any way she can. Ms. Jenkins would check on my Sister daily and would call me on a daily basis and if anything and I mean anything was needed Ms. Jenkins had it taken care of right away. She also managed to keep an extremely tough patient calm and satisfied and helped keep my family and myself calm and at ease during a very tough time. Do not hesistate to be placed or have a loved one placed in this facility as long as Ms. Tiffany Jenkins is Director of Client Services. She and her staff go the extra mile to make an uneasy time in your life a very comfortable one.

Experiencia fantástica: While nowhere is perfect I do appreciate the service that was provided to my fellow friend, Collins Fraser. With no visitation being offered in rehabilitation centers throughout the country, I was always able to speak to my friend over FaceTime. He greatly appreciated this as he worked with IBM System for many years. Needless to say this was right up his alley. I want to thank everyone who had a hand in the care of my friend and especially Tiffany for making it possible and fluid to communicate with him. I want to give special thanks also to Shavy, Trudy and Louis. He would mention of you guys all the time. Again, thank you all!!

Experiencia fantástica: Adira is a great place for rehab. My aunt is there recovering after a hip fracture. Special thanks to all of the staff. They cared for her like she was a part of their family. They’ve kept her as comfortable as possible. It’s been difficult not being able to visit. But we have weekly video chats and get updates on her goals and progress. I would highly recommend Adira at Riverside to anyone who is in need of skilled rehab and nursing care. They’re GREAT!

Experiencia fantástica: We love the people we have met at Adira, even though COVID meant our family was not able to visit for 6 months except by Facetime until September 2020. My husband was transferred to Adira after an acute illness. The nursing staff has been great to our family, the respiratory therapists, the Nurse Practitioners and the CNA's, Social Workers and Patient Services (especially Tiffany Jenkins) and Admin, have been great carers for Tony, my husband. He has avoided common infections and with the enthusiasm and belief of Tiffany, Tony has returned to alertness and knows and hears us now. His underlying illness of ALS (for over a year) is very difficult for patient and caregivers alike but Tony is stable for now and everyone very kind. We trust all the staff to keep him pain-free and help us care for him now that we are allowed to visit. Thank you Adira.

The care, concern and kindness from the nursing staff is wonderful. The physical and occupational therapists are terrific! And she loves to go to Zumba and Tai Chi. Our family is extremely pleased with the care she's receiving.

The food was not good .the food plan was horrible. Ms. Tiffany is the best . Always there to help you. Sometimes a patient can be going through something and she knows. Experiencia fantástica: Wonderful friendly Staff and Facility. Everyone is so caring and helpful. I am the Zumba Gold Instructor at this facility and most residents are in a Chair or Wheelchair. Weekly, it’s Great to see the regulars improving and enjoying the music. They are singing along and the nurses even join in as backup singers! At one point, I had the staff and relatives/guardians dancing!! Stop by, join in the Zumba Gold Fun every Monday at 11:15am!!!

When Adira took on the responsibility about three years ago they allowed me to stay on to continue my ministry of spreading sun shine on Tuesdays. I am honored to be here and to see all the activities and programs that are offered. The physical therapy depart is amazing .Everyone here works hard to keep residents happy and motivated. I am available for many of the residents by phone as well. I enjoy the opportunity to provide community service. God bless !

Many thanks to God and Adira at Riverside. He received "The BEST CARE EVER!" I am very pleased with the staff; from the nursing aides, nurses, rehab team, social worker all the way to the administrative staff. Now, he is 100% better than when he arrived!
