He helped me through my hardest recovery of popliteal artery entrapment. Before seeing him I had 2 surgeries and neither one of them worked due to bad pt. I was stationed in Birmingham for several months and was looking for a place to rehab my lower/mid back pain while working to better understand my body in relation to my golf swing. I tore my ACL a year and a bit ago, I felt the world break apart right under my feet, I visited Nate for a pre op visit and was given some hope, After surgery I went to his clinic the very next day and saw almost immediate progress. The more I spent with Nate the faster my progression went, I started to be able to do things I wasn’t expected to be doing from Nate’s guidance, and the more he became our family. Nate always kept me way ahead of my post ACL progression and always believed in me and took the absolute best care of me every time I stepped into his clinic. Now I feel like my knee is the same as before and like my injury never happened. I’m playing at a higher level than I was before and it’s all Thanks to Nate! To this day I still go to him for any small injury or problem I have because I know he is the best!

Experiencia fantástica: Nate is definitely uncommon. This is the third injury he’s rehabbed for me in the past 6 years-and I knew that’s the only person I trusted. The stakes were higher this time as a D3 college athlete on a National Championship team, going into my junior year. After my initial surgery rehab and strength training sessions, we took it to the sand courts. I worked harder than I thought was possible on jumping, running, cutting and diving to make sure my knee was stable. The fact that he was willing to train me on my actual athletic surface made a huge difference. My level of play has actually increased! I’m very confident going back to campus and into fall practice.

Typically with doctors I feel rushed and as if I am not heard. He pays every close attention to detail, and is not out for anyone’s money. He spent so much time talking to me the first visit, and by the second visit, the pain was gone. Physical therapy doesn't always work that fast of course, but I had a great experience there and did not feel overwhelmed by the exercises he prescribed. I'm so grateful that I have stayed pain free since then thanks to his expertise. Highly recommend!

Experiencia fantástica: After going to several of the big box physical therapy clinics, due to injuries from a catastrophic accident almost 5 years ago, I never saw any real progress. The therapy at the clinics is the same for everybody. Then the Lord lead to me Uncommon Physical Therapy and Nate Bower. Nate turned everything around with physical therapy that I had needed but had never received. He treated me like a whole person not just a body part. Nate incorporates setting goals and attaining them into the treatment, it is so important. Yes, it is the most effective physical therapy I have ever had. I would recommend Nate Bower to anyone, because he is the most uncommon Physical Therapist I've ever met. Uncommon Physical Therapy is not like the common PT clinics. You Will See Results!

He will take his time and comprehensively assess what the best course of treatment is. Additionally, it is evident that he is passionate about continuing to educate himself on best and most up to date evidence based treatments. He’s honest and won’t try to push more needed visits only to pad his pocketbook. You won’t be disappointed!

He has always been on the cutting edge with new treatment modalities, and always puts the patients interests first...you will not get the usual run of the mill type of therapy experience with Nate, he will make sure he does what's right for you, and what's necessary in order to get you back to 100%. I would highly recommend!!
