Experiencia fantástica: My mother has dementia and diabetes, and has been staying at Green Oaks Nursing Care for a few years now. The nurses and entire staff have been incredibly patient with her, and very kind. My mom is a difficult patient, and has attacked the staff verbally (calling a nurse a fat a** and accusing everyone of stealing from her) to physically (kicking, hitting, pinching, hair pulling, biting, throwing things). The people who work at Green Oaks are like angels. They have unlimited patience and kindness, and really care about her. I couldn't take care of her any more on my own, but I'm happy to get her in a place as nice as Green Oaks. They even give her lots of nice Christmas presents! They make sure all of the residents feel loved, even those that don't have family to come visit. It's a very hard decision to make, but I recommend Green Oaks.

Experiencia fantástica: I recently visited my relative at Green Oaks Nursing and Rehab Center and was very impressed by the staff and their safety protocols as well as the high quality care that my family member received. I visited at lunch time and the food looked delicious and was in fact very much enjoyed by my uncle. Keep up the great work! Thank you for taking care of my relative.

Experiencia positiva: UPDATE The staff have made great improvements in hiring and keeping quality staff, and maintaining aides. The diatician, social director and activities director are making good progress with care also. Mom has been here six months and feels more comfortable with the staff, and those who have stayed treat her with respect and integrity. I guess the food is the only issue, but there is a new manager so l anticipate improving there also. They have completely redecorated the place with new furniture and artwork as well.

They are food at getting the resident's up for activities and making sure they are getting out of their rooms and participating. They had such a great ester egg hunt I took my daughter to and she absolutely loved it!

Experiencia fantástica: My mom has had two bad falls in the last 18 months. Both times she has gone to Green Oaks to rebuild her strength. Green Oaks has helped her recover so much faster than I ever thought possible. I have been in and out of the facility at all times of the day and evening and have been so impressed with the care my mom has received, the quality of her physical and occupational therapy, and the concern and responsiveness of the staff. The administrator, Leigh, makes the initial paperwork and admission process go smoothly and is very accessible if I have questions or need information during my mom’s stay. I’m grateful my mom found Green Oaks.

Experiencia fantástica: My parents are residents of this facility. I can truthfully say I have been very impressed with the level of care they are being shown. The staff is attentive and kind to them. Everyone there has been very responsive and helpful. They are professional, courteous, and they seem to do everything they can to make my parents feel safe and satisfied. Another bonus to Green Oaks is the delicious meals they serve. My parents are eating well and each meal is well-balanced. The physical therapists are truly amazing, and I cannot say enough about how sincere and hard-working they are. They are very knowledgeable about the specific needs of my parents, and they are doing everything they can to provide the rehabilitation that is needed. I highly recommend this facility and its staff.

Experiencia fantástica: My mom is currently spending time here and is very happy with the treatment of the staff. She said the food was good and was tended to very well. When I have had to have any interaction with the staff they have been very accommodating. Leigh has been wonderful through everything. Overall its a great place.

Experiencia fantástica: My dad has been on the rehab side a little over a week and will transition into long term care. My dad’s appetite has come back and I’m thankful for that. He eats all his meals Now, he is on a regular no restrictions diet, so I can also bring him snacks as well. They have a salon room onsite (Monday’s) and I have already scheduled a hair cut and fresh shave for him. Leigh brings her “A” game and is very action oriented. One of the most important things that stands out for me is we (the family) can set up cameras 24/7 once he is moved into long term care.

Experiencia fantástica: In these difficult and demanding times we would like to take a moment and share our appreciation for the entire staff of Green Oaks. Despite, what are difficult times for them, I continue to see smiles, care and concern for the residents . It is hard for all families not to be able to visit but rules and requirements have been put in place to keep them safe; I call it a success! The entire staff has our support knowing what is best is top on their minds. I wish we could thank each one individually but that will have to wait for now. Two years ago when we needed to make the difficult decision to place our mother into full time care due to her medical and memory care needs; we chose Green Oaks. Since that time we have been pleased with her care. Management, support staff, nurses and the social worker have been very responsive and caring even during challenging health and emotional needs. We have come to consider all to be part of the family and appreciate their responsiveness to our mother's needs as well as our own. Neither our mother or us could have survived without them.

During such a stressful time trying to prepare paperwork and ensuring documents were in order, Leigh was not only helpful but proactive in making sure we were taken care of . She literally jumped through hoops within a day to go above and beyond to make things happen. This is day 3 of my uncle being there, and if everyone is as engaged as Leigh, he is in great hands. Going forward will update in due time as he gets the care he needs. Thank you so much for making the family at ease in light of the situation. Impressed!

There is no other place I would want to work. If and when any of my friends or family are in need of skilled nursing or rehabilitation, Green Oaks is where I would recommend them to go. Experiencia fantástica: Green Oaks has been a Godsend for our family. Our 93-year-old mom recently took a fall and suffered a fracture. After being released from the hospital to a rehab facility, we wanted to make sure she went to a safe environment in light of the coronavirus. Green Oaks has been stellar. They have had no cases of the virus there. In addition, Mom loves the staff, the food, and the facility. Moreover, everyone there has been so professional and caring—to a person. The Green Oaks team has removed the anxiety we had about sending Mom to a rehab during a pandemic. It’s clear she’s In good hands with people who truly care. Thank you, Green Oaks!

Experiencia fantástica: Fantastic facility with a wonderful staff! The Administrator is very helpful and hands on. And the Director of Nursing is very pleasant and willing to address any concerns! I can’t say enough great things about Green Oaks Nursing and Rehab! All around great, caring and loving staff!

Experiencia fantástica: Having to put our Aunt in this facility during the pandemic made it to where we could not visit in person. They made it to where we could talk to her everyday and they called whenever something came up urgent or not. They kept us in the loop. Her being amongst nurses and ppl that cared was a God send.

Experiencia fantástica: My mother completed therapy there after she fell and broke her hip. It was a scary transition for all of us. The nursing and therapy team took their time and explained the process and time frame to recover. They were very reassuring, knowledgeable and compassionate about my mothers fears and anxiety. She completed her therapy and is doing great at home now. The facility set up home health and therapy services for her after discharge. Great staff. Would definitely recommend this place for rehab.

Experiencia fantástica: I was here for 3 weeks before knee replacement surgery. Plenty of activities if you are into that kind of thing, food was not mamma's home cooking, but it was not too bad, and therapy was very good. Leigh did a great job and made it easy for me to get into the facility. They took me to and from 2 doctor's appts while I was here It worked for me. If I need skilled nursing again, I will come back to this facility.

Experiencia fantástica: My father was in and sent to the hospital and back.the nurse Ati noticed somthing wrong and sure enough so we returned.all and everyone was so kind,professional and made my father comfortable and laugh.the office made accomadations for me to be with him since he has dementia.they could not have been any better.the staff preparing food would even bring me a visitor tray which i never expected! The food was good but to accomadate so many diets i could go ask for bacon ar what he wanted.the aids....above and beyond even working split halls were fantastic...but some dont realize rach room may take a minute and others longer.therapy....fantastic! Talked as dad walked and exercised.with attention on him.whitney would even do exercises with him.if choosing a place again....this is it!!!!.jay giving baths made a effort to help dad being a man.so much more comfortable for him.shaundra and others when on a different hall whould still come say hello to him on 200 hall.people have complains but this job of caring for different needs on rach is not easy.the office ladies were so fantastic they even get involved with the tesidence.this is like a home from home.thankyou Green Oaks for everything and your hard work.it has paid off.dad is with out a walker as he was before all this.the encouragement here is Awesome and concern.

Experiencia fantástica: Working with Green Oaks has been a pleasure. We all have to do our part in helping the community and seniors get back on their feet. Britt Aulie, the administrator, really does care about each patient that comes through the door. The DON, nursing staff and discharge planner all feed off the positivity which creates a good environment for the patient's journey to getting healthier and stronger.

Experiencia fantástica: Our Dad fell 3 times in one week and was transported each time to the ER. After the 3rd time he was admitted to hospital for 3 days, so he could go to a rehabilitation and skilled nursing facility. We had heard good things about Green Oaks, so we chose it. Dad is 93 and one of the few surviving World War Two Veterans. It’s been difficult journey to adjust to his new living arrangements. They were prepared for his arrival. Name on door, Clean sheets and blanket on bed, hygiene supplies in sealed bin on night table. Almost immediately after his arrival, Sunny, the registered on duty, came and assessed Dad’s needs, asked us to verify all medical history they had received from hospital. Sunny is so very attentive, very professional, and so helpful. He is kind, understanding and has the patience of Job! Tiffany, the morning shift registered nurse has the very same qualities. I commend these two RNs who are on Hall 200 Monday through Friday. Most of the nurse techs have been very helpful. There are some nurse techs who need to be less talkative with each other and go to the resident when needed. Sometimes it’s 30-40 minutes before someone comes to assist Dad with his needs. He can not walk or get up by himself. There is one nurse tech on weekends by the name of Zadok (I think the spelling is correct) who is also great. Dad has only had him a couple of times. Dad has macular degeneration (among his other health issues) , so he can not see very well. The television screen in the room was too small for him to see, so Zadok was able to find a larger screen tv for him. I would also like to commend the physical plant man (maintenance guy). He’s been helpful as well. The lady who orders supplies was able to get Dad a working and longer bed for Dad! Thank you. Leigh (admissions director) and Lissett (business office manager) have also been very helpful and attentive. There are other staff there who deserve honorable mention: ALL the physical, occupational and speech therapists, the director of Physical Therapy, social worker. I have probably forgotten others, I apologize. The care Dad has received has been wonderful. Most of the staff have shown compassion and good care. There were a couple of incidents which were not pleasant, but those were addressed and remedied.

Experiencia fantástica: We appreciate the staff at Green Oaks that were very kind, patient and professional during my mother's recent stay. When our mom came to Green Oaks she could not even stand on her own, but after 6 weeks of rehab she is walking on her own and able to be be independent. Many hugs and kind words were exchanged the day she left, as we experienced the warmth and personal touch! Thank you Green Oaks staff for getting her back on her feet- literally!

Experiencia fantástica: My grandmother was admitted to Green Oaks for short term rehabilitation after her hospital stay and I just wanted to express my gratitude for the sensitivity of all staff from nursing to dietary to administration. Nursing staff was so caring and thoughtful of her sensitive condition and came in frequently to check on her. The nurses were kind and accommodating to not only my grandmother but to our family as well. This gave us peace of mind during her stay. I want to thank the therapy department for their encouragement to get her to participate in therapy so that she could regain her strength to where she eventually was able to go home. I also want to thank housekeeping when they came to clean her room they took time to visit with her. Overall I highly recommend Green Oaks for your loved ones care.
