I was very sore on the hamstrings and hips, and he cleared that with dry needling, cupping, massage, and chiropractic adjustment. Experiencia fantástica: So I have had back and hip problems since college and felt like an old man in my late 20s. I've been to physical therapist, doctors and chiropractors, but nothing seemed to work. I'd feel better for a week or two, but then the pain in my back or the clicking of my hip would return. I've been active my whole life so this was very frustrating and the last thing I wanted was surgery. I've known Benny as a friend for years but never as a "physical therapist". I use quotations because he does so much more than just what I thought was physically therapy. He did his undergrad at University of Georgia and then his masters in physical therapy at the University of Miami before traveling the world to learn different methods of alternative treatments. When we started working together he asked a TON OF QUESTIONS which was important to me because I wanted a custom treatment game plan. As he took the time to get to know my physical problems and goals, my treatment picture became clearer. He did a good job of setting expectations and did not promise an overnight fix. He also gave me a list of detailed rehab exercises which he held me accountable to. I've been working with Benny for a year and my quality-of-life day today is significantly better. I rarely have back pain and when I do I am able to self correct most of it through the exercises that he has given me. I would highly recommend you give Benny a call. I have recommended him to my family members and friends.

I have many chronic injuries from years of playing sports and powerlifting and in the past I have visited chiropractors or doctors that take a fairly generic approach to treatment that may provide temporary relief but doesn't get to the root of my issue. Working with Benny felt like a truly individualized experience that really tackled MY problems and he used a mix of chiropractic, massage, and dry needling to really tackle the issue from all angles. I'm sure he is great for any run of the mill issue, but if you have highly specific issues that most doctors can't fix I would definitely give Benny a call.

Experiencia fantástica: I recommend Benny 100%. He gets a 10 out of 10. Benny did amazing work for my wife. She woke up with a crick in her next and had serious pain day and night for three or four days. After four days she could hardly move without experiencing serious pain. Benny spent an hour with my wife and the pain has not come back since. That was four months ago and she is still pain free. He is professional, friendly and an expert at his craft. If you experience pain of any kind visit Benny and he will take care of you.

I had chronic shoulder and lower backpain since I was a teenager and have had my share of physical therapy, chiro and the works. He is the only person who has been able to adjust hard to get to areas in my shoulders. The quality of my life is better because of him. I highly recommend.

Experiencia fantástica: This review is for Foy Munlin, a massage therapist with Empower Rehab. I’ve had a couple of massages from different local therapists, and none of them have been as thorough, pain-relieving, and therapeutic as his. He starts off by assessing your pain areas, and making connections between the stressors that affect one another in the body (for example, lower back and ankle pain for me). He’s then able to work both the painful areas, and those affecting them throughout your session by working out knots and tightness for relief, and a better range of motion. I highly recommend Foy for muscle relief and even working through old scar tissue –especially for those of us that primarily work at desks all day. Pro tip for the building: the best entrance is on the backside. Don’t try to use the multiple doors in the front, as they’re usually locked.

Experiencia fantástica: I had such an awesome massage with Foy today!!! He is strong and really knows how an athletes body works! He also has an awesome personality and makes you feel really comfortable. Increased my time from 90 minutes to 120 half way through the sesh. I highly recommend seeing him!

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Karpus dry needled and massaged my calves and they feel infinitely better! He also went above and beyond to give me some beneficial yoga poses to achieve my potential in running and corrected my form/common mistakes in order to get the most out of the poses.

Experiencia fantástica: First massage I've ever had, didn't even know I had to be in just underwear to give you an idea as to how litle I knew, best experience and body high ive ever experienced. Joey did myself and my boyfriends massages. Been years since my server hands and shoulders felt essentially painless. This will definitely be something I do at least once or twice a month from now on with Joey cause it was that good and I definitely feel my, working, body needs. Highly highly recommend. Did Swedish but definitely feel he threw in some deep tissue in the area's I needed it in. 12/10 no joke just book. Super professional and didn't feel uncomfortable at all once he got started.

He has an incredible sense of pressure and balance that allows much deeper tissue massage without pain. I've asked for less deep tissue during some of the sessions, and they are just as profound in form and technique. I've had hundreds of massages in my lifetime, and I can say with confidence that Joey beats them all. Highly, highly recommended!

Experiencia fantástica: So glad I got to get treated with Dr. Karpus, was suffering upper back pains for the last two years with no resolve. After a visit to my doctor he recommended physical therapy for 12 weeks. That's when I started researching a knowledgeable physical therapist that would target my problem without having to guess. I gave Doctor Karpus a try and was glad I came in. He immediately came up with a game plan for my recovery. 6 weeks later here I am feeling like a million bucks. Doctor Karpus specializes in several back methods of therapy so he'll know exactly what works for your specific ailment. Communication with him was a breeze and his friendly demeanor invokes trust. Highly recommended.

Experiencia fantástica: Best part of my visit hands down!! I woke up on Sunday with a dead left leg. I couldn't lift it even to walk. The pain was excruciating. After stretching all night and stressing about the next day's conference I picked up the phone and called the first Chiropractor with a 5 star rating. Dr. Af Shirinzadeh answered his cell phone and truly seemed to care about my perdicament. He set me an appointment the following day, AFTER my conference concluded. From the moment I hobbled into the office Dr. Af showed love and concern for me and my hurting body. He spent a full hour massaging and adjusting me. He was tender but efficient. He was kind and coached me through the painful breathing while he worked. And after it all, as I was putting on my shoes, I realized my leg still couldn't cross my other one. He put me back on the table and put 15 more minutes into fixing that one muscle while I said thank you and calling him the Devil all at the same time. LOL This was the best chiropractic experience of my life and I LOVE chiropractic work! I HIGHLY suggest this man to ANYONE in Atlanta with body pains. If I could give this man 10 stars I would. A true doctor, concerned with his patient's happiness, comfort level, life quality, and the body itself as a functioning instrument. You just don't see that these days. Thank goodness for Dr. Af Shirinzadeh!!!

I have some complicated issues with my back, and he made sure to ask me plenty of questions before our session began, to identify the best method to solve for my pain. I was super nervous about trying dry needling to begin with, but it was seriously a game changer for me. I saw Dr. Karpus about a month ago, and haven’t felt this good since I can remember. I 100% recommend making an appointment with him as soon as possible if you are looking for someone who is smart, knows what they are doing, and really cares about your wellbeing. I will definitely be returning in the near future for another session!

I've had lower back pain off and on for over 10 yrs and after my 1st visit I immediately felt results. After my extensive search to find a Dr. here in Ga and see results from treatment was EXTREMELY exhausting. I almost gave up hope. Now I am able to keep up with my active toddler. Might I add the staff was pleasant which was added icing on the cake!!! It felt like a mini vacay/spa for me on my visits away from hubby and kids..lol I HIGHLY recommend

Not only did he treat my back during the session, he also assigned me some targeted exercises that I can do on a regular basis at home to gain flexibility, balance, and strength. I knew Empower was a win when Dr. Karpus mentioned that he preferred manual therapy versus using some sort of machine. I'm a lover of yoga and all things flexible so I couldn't be more happy. Dr. Karpus is very knowledgeable when it comes to the body and healing. Throughout my sessions he took the time to answer every question that I had and he explained his technique brief and slow before moving forward. I really appreciate him for taking his time during my therapy and not over-doing it. Acupuncture was something that I had never done before but he assured me that it would be bearable and started with a small few. I always felt relieved after leaving my sessions and my headaches began to ease within a few weeks. Going to any kind of doctor has always been a tad awkward for me but Benjamin was very relaxed humorous so I felt pretty comfortable! I would definitely recommend him for therapy or even a simple massage.

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Karpus is the best PT I have ever encountered. After a serious injury to my neck several years ago, I shuffled through many different doctors, physical therapists and massage therapists. Each of these providers gave little relief, offered contradictory diagnoses and attempted seemingly gimmicky solutions. In the years I worked with other practicioners I could barely turn my neck, was unable to sleep lying down and had searing pain down my arm. Within two months of working with Dr. Karpus I had little to no pain, full range of motion and was able to sleep again. I received treatment by Dr. Karpus to address these acute issues and have continued working with him to correct the underlying causes through a wide range of treatment options and have never felt better. Dr. Karpus allowed me to have my life back!

Experiencia fantástica: Dr. Karpus is an amazing physical therapist who as helped me take care of ankle impingement as well as some neck/shoulder issues. He is very knowledgeable about physical therapy treatment and is entertaining to talk to as well. Unlike big physical therapy places where you're stuck with a PT assistant, Dr. Karpus is right with you the whole session to personally treat you and answer any questions. I definitely recommend this physical therapist!
