Experiencia fantástica: My 94 year old Aunt recently spent a significant amount of time here for weakness and then a TIA. I guarantee all of you from extensive experience, that you will not be disappointed with your stay at this facility. The rooms are spacious with a large window, and more importantly, you do not have to share the room with another patient. This is such a positive aspect for healing because you have your own privacy in a more quiet environment with your own television and bathroom. Furthermore, you can close your door or leave it open because you are not sharing the room! All employees are friendly and visibly team players with superior communication among themselves about their patients. All patients and their families are treated with respect which is appreciated because these are difficult times for the family. Unlike most hospitals, they answer your call button within minutes, day or night. Employees collaborate to help the patients improve daily to reach their individual goals. Medical needs are quickly met by contacting the Doctor assigned to each patient. You can’t beat the professional services such as physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy services in one location, all of which were necessary to improve my Aunt’s condition. Also, respiratory therapists were always available when she needed breathing treatments. This facility will be the cleanest one you’ve experienced. The food was excellent and they can meet specific dietary needs. She received outstanding leg/feet wrapping and wound care; the exact number of times as ordered by the doctor. The receptionists at the front desk were always friendly and happy to see you. They greeted us by our first name. A facility is only as good as its administrative staff and case carriers. Our case carrier, Yesenia, went out of her way to make sure my Aunt’s condition had improved enough before releasing her . She supported our family through many challenging times and always kept me updated. I am forever grateful for the peace of mind I had when my Aunt was under your care. You are by far the best facility for rehabilitation from my many experiences . By the way, they provide you with a comprehensive binder titled, “My Rehabilitation Journey,” which has been such a helpful informational tool.

Experiencia fantástica: I am probably the happiest person alive. I do not exaggerate. I was having breathing problems. I was listless. I was close to death. I'm 68 years old. It was discovered that my heart is only 25% efficient. I'm type2 diabetic. My kidneys are shot. I'm now on dialysis. But I'm happy as can be! Everyone at the rehabilitation hospital showed me dedication and a desire to make me well again. I was taught how to eat properly. One on one trainers helped me get my strength back. State of the art equipment made working out enjoyable. I had a private room. Assistance was always I immediate if requested. I consider these professionals my friends. I love all the wonderful people at Bakersfield Rehabilitation Hospital. I would be remiss if I didn't give a shout out to the Cafeteria staff for accommodating my every request. I was there on Thanksgiving day and was allowed three huge plates of delicious turkey w/trimmings. I'm now thriving. I'm riding my motorcycle every day. I work my 12 acre property with a renewed zest for life. I can breath again! I am so happy!

Experiencia fantástica: I was sent to this hospital after I had blood clots in my leg and in my arm. They taught me how to be resilient, and independent. This staff really cares about you getting better. I had the best nursing staff the best therapy staff and I gained friendships I cannot praise this facility and those who work here enough they're all God sent. I'm coming back ... But this time I'll be a staff member ❤️ thank you for taking care of me so well. I'm back on my own. I'm working hard to get back to you all ✨✨

Experiencia fantástica: It’s a really nice place, newer building. It’s not like the hospital where the nurses ignore you for literal hours. Here once you push the call button a nurse will get to you usually less than a minute. My only real complaint is the food could be better but you can fix that by ordering in the cafeteria which is free for patients. Also best to bring your own clothes if you can or have your family bring you some because the gowns, shorts and sweats they got here might not be in stock depending on your size. I found this frustrating, I am a big boy trucker and I only have access to the clothes I had on the day I broke my leg and here they don’t have any shorts and gowns that fit me. So be prepared if you can be. Physically I have come a long ways in 8 days. I can move around a whole lot more than when I first got here.

Experiencia fantástica: This is a great place to be to recover, the staff here is beyond amazing everyone is so nice and caring truly the best place I have ever been to. Big thanks to Terri,Dalia and Jennifer for being such great nurses the therapy team is also amazing huge thanks for everyone there as well, Paige, Stephanie, Mr. Lee and Josh all helped me to recover and get to go home with my family. I would recommend this place to anyone who needs it 10 out of 10

Experiencia fantástica: Very aggressive.. was exactly what I needed although painful it was the best fit for me personally. The staff,top-notch, the nurses you couldn't ask for better care, The CNAs work very well with the nurses, and bring to the recovery a special kind of care. All in all I highly recommend this facility. If there was a 10 star review they would receive 11 thank. Thank you very much for my recovery. My garden thanks you.

Experiencia fantástica: My mother had a massive stroke and needs a lot of rehabilitation. We were fortunate to have Bakersfield Rehabilitation Hospital take my mother as a patient when she was turned away by so many because of her condition. Not only are they doing wonders with my mother but they are teaching us as well in how to take care of our mother. The facility is very clean and maintained well. Every doctor, nurse, front desk attendance, maintenance, PT, OT, ST that is their work as a team. The cafeteria workers go out of their way to provide a meal for you even after the kitchen has closed. People express general concern and empathy for your loved one taking care of all their needs in a safe and compassionate way. Their case management team tries to help you navigate this new situation helping set things up and find out information for you. This is the best care anyone could ask for and so far my mother has improved with their approach to patient rehabilitation. If you are in need of rehabilitation I highly recommend this establishment you will not be disappointed.

Experiencia fantástica: 10/10 recommend for your rehab needs. My grandma was here for 2 weeks after a hip fracture and the team was phenomenal. They made sure her needs were met and that she was comfortable during her stay. From the CNAs to the therapists + nurses the staff was great. Every time you come in the receptionist makes sure you feel welcomed! Would come back if we needed their services again.

I have my Dad there He has broken ribs broken shoulder they do trading him really really well he got all support he needs. all doctors nurses therapies and everyone works there they work as a team. they all there for you to make sure you get well Everyone is very merciful, which makes you feel that the patient lives among his family. Me and My family very grateful to them and for what they offer to my father. I highly recommend Bakersfield rehabilitation hospital . Try them and you will never regret. We are very grateful to them. Experiencia fantástica: As a former two week inpatient at this facility I can tell you without a doubt it is the finest of its type that I have ever encountered. I am 78 years old and have been employed by several types of medical entities from my college days until recently. Unfortunately the past several years I have become all too familiar with life on the inside of "skilled" nursing facilities, rehabilitation clinics and subsequent home health agencies. All are NOT created alike and all are ABSOLUTELY not managed or administered alike. Under the dedicated and involved leadership of CEO Randy Dodd, Bakersfield Rehabilitation is run under the Team Concept with Randy as the highly motivated and goal oriented Team Leader and every member of staff a highly motivated Team Member. People at Bakersfield Rehab WANT to help you succeed. They come to work every day seeking approaches that can best help you - not just for a paycheck. The Medical Director should not be overlooked, either. His daily and direct involvement in your case is a special bonus. In short in my judgement and experience Bakersfield Rehabilitation Hospital is a stellar place and should be first on the choice list of those individuals needing the help they offer. Although my rehabilitation was not 100% successful it was not from a lack of complete commitment on the part of myself and the world class staff at Bakersfield Rehabilitation Hospital. Bakersfield Rehab indeed moved "mountains" for me and I will always remain grateful to them.
