Experiencia fantástica: My husband Terry had two strokes after a heart surgery at the Cleveland Clinic main hospital. We were there 25 days and then came to Beechwood rehab center the people here are very professional, very courteous, and so respectful of my husband.. The therapist here are wonderful. Cannot say enough about how much they helped my husband in the eight days that we were here. They had him on a schedule every day. We did not have to worry about what we were doing next the nursing staff was an absolute joy to be around the facility was so clean also can not say enough about the food!! I am thankful that we came here for his recovery..we are from Florida and I really did not know what to expect from these rehab hospitals! We find ourselves Blessed to have been accepted to come here

Experiencia fantástica: Hi. We feel that my mom, Barbara had a great experience here at rehab. Her nurse, Vern was the sweetest and she was always pleasant. She went above & beyond for my mom. Doris & Charles are great PCNA’S. They care about their patients which is well seen in their work. My mom had a few therapists that were AMAZING!! I can’t remember all of their names. Sorry. Rachel and Kate are two of the finest. They really care about their patients. Miranda is great too. She was very helpful with my mom. Thank you to all of my moms therapists, nurses, PCNA’S, doctors cleaning people and dietary. You all are great and made us feel welcomed! THANK YOU FOR HELPING MY MOM AND FOR GETTING HER STRONGER. We will miss you all!

The therapist was amazing encouraging and creative. I would list all of their names, but it’s just too many wonderful people. All I would say is keep doing what you do. They have all kinds of equipment to get the job done. I almost didn’t wanna go home. Thanks to all of you

I want to thank Doug for staying late to work with me, I had such a terrible migraine he went out of his way and brought me sunglasses. The nurses are kind here and answer your call lights on time. Experiencia fantástica: Excellent facility!!! Have been here for 9 days after a stroke. Call light is answered in less than a minute every time! Never had that experience before! Nurses, rehab assistants, therapists exceptional! 3-45min therapy’s daily plus an added 2group therapy sessions daily. Large, extremely clean private rooms with large bathroom with safe shower. All the staff was wonderful, but most days our care was done by Celeste and Donald and they were so very helpful and patient.

Experiencia fantástica: This place is amazing the food was pretty good especially for being a “hospital” setting the staff over all treated me very kind and went above and beyond. Justine stayed over two hours extra to have my child come see me and do an interactive game with me as well as some artwork. That meant a lot to me I didn’t get to see my kids that often here and the Nurse Selena what a wonderful kind spirit suck an amazing place. Over all I don’t want to be in the position to have to come back but I did enjoy the staff all of them which is hard to say in hospital settings! Experiencia fantástica: Making the decision to do rehab at the Beachwood rehab facility was one of the best decisions I made. My rehab team was the best, Doug in group therapy made doing the exercise fun and pleasurable, Katy my PT was very experienced pushed me hard and we saw early results, Miranda my OT was great she made sure I knew how to use all the tools and if I broke my protocol BLT I heard it. To all my nurses and support staff thank you so much for being so understanding and providing great care. I cant remember all their names but I had this one nurse almost every night she showed so much patience. Beachwood you are truly the best!!!

Experiencia fantástica: My dad rehabilitated here after having a rough case of COVID. He was pretty weak when he arrived and was able to be discharged much stronger due to the exceptional care he received. The nurses, therapists and aides were wonderful, and Cheryl organized a productive family discharge meeting. I highly recommend this rehabilitation center and the entire family is grateful for the wonderful care my dad received.

Experiencia fantástica: The therapy staff is excellent, very encouraging and compassionate, they always adjusted therapy to my ability. The nursing staff are all very caring and supportive, never acted like they were in a hurry. Everyone is helpful and friendly, enjoying their work. The food was good and the gym is top notch with lots of natural light looking out onto the greenhouse. We even went out in the courtyard to do exercises. I would recommend the Beachwood facility for anyone who needs therapy!

Experiencia fantástica: This is a wonderful acute care rehab hospital!! Everyone was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The physical therapist, Emily, was extremely patient, personable and instructional in how to get me back on my feet. The occupational therapist, Dan, was a gentle, helpful therapist who helped me learn the ways to get around when I got home. The nursing staff and rehab assistances came within 2 minutes when I turned on my light. The housekeeping staff kept the place spotless. I don’t know how a germ could exist in this facility. I am so happy I choose to come to this facility!

Everyone, from doctors to aides, has been extremely friendly, positive and supportive. I hope to never experience rehab again but if I do, it will definitely be at Cleveland Clinic Beachwood Rehab Center.

Experiencia fantástica: I was a bit unhappy to find that after spine surgery I needed to come to rehab. That was one week ago today. Today I'm sad that I have to leave. In one week I regained all of my functionality. One week! Everyone here, in each area of hospital administration, has been wonderful, and allowed me to walk out of here better than when I came in. I wool highly recommend this facility to all of those that I care about.

Experiencia fantástica: Full disclosure: I was not a patient here. My mother was in rehabilitation after orthopedic surgery for two weeks in July 2023. During her second week, I visited her on three days, from mid-morning to early evening. My own experience in-patient (at a hospital in New York City) frames my (limited) perspective as much as my being the daughter of a patient. I observed staff at multiple levels - administration, OT, PT, transport, social work, patient experience - and found everyone to be concerned, thoughtful, and very active in their roles to help my mother feel comfortable, supported, and treated. For every exercise that challenged her, the therapist engaged with her, adjusted what was directed per my mother's feedback, and acknowledged the accomplishment of each set. The encouragement wasn't generic "atta girl." It was encouraging, specific, and geared to how my mother needed to be supported. Again, I was not a patient here. And during a time - post-trauma, after intense surgery - when being observant and responsive are as important as possessing and applying medical knowledge and skills, I saw those in play completely at Cleveland Clinic Rehabilitation Hospital in Beachwood. In the limited way I can, I recommend, without pause or resistance, this location for post-op care.

Experiencia fantástica: This facility was extremely nice and clean every one was very nice and helpful. I made a lot of progress and got much stronger. I feel comfortable being able to go home on my own. If you need rehab this is the place to go. And the food is very good!

Experiencia positiva: The therapists were excellent and I made progress very quickly after my knee replacement. The private room was comfortable and clean. Most of the nurses and aides were helpful and cordial, a few were not. And the food was certainly adequate with several daily choices. My complaint—which I mentioned several times to the nurses—was that before I was cleared to go to the bathroom on my own, I needed a bed pan and cleaning. There were only washcloths, which were not sufficient. They had no medicated wipes (such as Tucks). I didn’t feel clean, and several times I stayed on a used bedpan too long before a response. I left the hospital with a urinary infection. I’ve talked with the patient advocate who will look into this. And perhaps improve that situation. Other than that, a very worthwhile experience.

All of my nurses are awesome Miss V, Crystal, David Raven, Debbie and my nursing assistance Cynthia Keisha, Marla Taylor they really made my experience, awesome to the therapy staff. I can’t thank you enough you all gave me hope I can live again because of you the chef he needs an award. The food here is awesome. Experiencia fantástica: My husband hand neck surgery in April 2022 which resulted in weakness and nerve damage. He was transported to the Beachwood rehab hospital and stayed a month. We can’t say enough good things about the staff, therapists, doctors and food. Everything possible was done for his comfort and goal to get him walking and able to function to go home. We were taught how to take care of him, move him when he can’t, and set us up at home when he was discharged. What an amazing, caring place. And the food was wonderful!

The care and education I received from the entire staff including the dietary team and the cleaning crew, the nurses and rehab assistants, the doctors, the physical therapists as well as the occupational therapists and respiratory therapists was amazing. I am so glad we chose this facility for my treatment. They truly are wonderful caregivers.

Experiencia fantástica: What an amazing facility for healing! One can argue that without the wonderful staff the up to date facility couldn't exist. The medical staff was extremely tentative to my husband's needs, as well as patient with me with all my questions and concerns. The therapists went above and beyond to make sure my husband was successful with his progress and recovery. They all worked together to make sure my husband was successful. The housekeeping staff was very thoughtful and respectful and kept the facility sparkling clean. The kitchen staff was very pleasant and went out of their way to make sure I was there to help my husband make his meal choices. My husband was here for 21 days after an acute stroke. He arrived unstable and not permitted to walk without assistance and unable to clearly verbalize his thoughts. By the time he was discharged he was walking on his own with little assistance, showering and dressing himself and was able to communicate his needs as well as having conversations. When it came to discharge day, the case worker had all home health care line up as well as follow up appointments to doctors. Not only do they care for the patient but they also care for the caregiving partner. Thank you Cleveland Clinic Rehabilitation Hospital in Beachwood for all that you did for us.

Experiencia fantástica: This is my second time here at beachwood, and it was just as great as my first time. I am a friendly person and I loved how every new worker I met made me happy and joyous. The workers are friendly, awesome and made me feel welcomed every day. The therapists I worked with were funny and always made me laugh during my sessions. They also checked on me every day to make sure everything was okay, and I really enjoyed when they would pop in my room. The nursing staff was great to me and were always friendly with me. I am grateful because they always checked up on me and were always there to give me the help I needed. The staff at beachwood really did an outstanding job and I was impressed with the way that everyone worked together as a team
