Experiencia fantástica: I went to see Dr. Corey for some back, shoulder, and neck pain that were causing some headaches. What I loved about my experience at Gate City Physio is that he takes the time to really listen and figure out what is going on and trying to find the root of the problem, instead of just focusing on your symptoms. He did a great job working with me and giving me very practical exercises that I could do at home that helped tremendously. Great experience and I won't hesitate to go back if ever needed.

Experiencia fantástica: I went to Dr. Hillman for my shoulder and arm pain. During our first appointment he took a lot of time to identify not only where the symptoms were but also went through my routine at work and at home to identify what could have caused the symptoms. He then created treatment plans for me that were very helpful and also took into account the feasibility of what I was able to do with my schedule and time constraints. I specifically liked the incorporation of the myofascial release as well as dry needling. Within a few sessions and doing his recommended exercises at home my symptoms completely resolved. We then spent time working on strength building and planning ways to prevent future injuries. I felt very well cared for and listened to during my treatment!

Experiencia fantástica: I had plantar fasciitis for about 1-1.5 years and hadn’t been treated out of fear that I would be told rest was my only option. I also then developed a ham string injury and decided it was time for PT. A co-worker recommended Gate City Physio. Corey worked with me and my goals and I was able to heal and keep running! He also gave me the tools to help prevent an injury in the future plus how to safely get back into races, etc!

Experiencia fantástica: As a massage therapist for 23 years I can say I really love it when a physical therapist does a good amount of hands on work as well as therapeutic exercises and mobility assessment and education. I got a very blended session for some anterior neck work. I will be back and also sending my kiddo who has occasional migraines. He's great and listens well which you're u don't always get in bigger offices..very pleased.

I've seen two chiros, a sports med Dr, multiple massage therapists, had Ortho PT and saw an Ortho Dr. None of them have been able to stop the chronic pain I've had. I went to Dr Hillman with little hope that there would be a change but immediately, I felt heard and better yet, he jumped into action. I've had such relief and it's been more than I had hoped for! After several unsuccessful chiropractor visits at other places, Dr. Hillman was able to effectively resolve my work-related back pain. He was an excellent communicator, laid out a plan and stuck to it, and was focused on strength building in addition to symptom resolution. I will go again if it's ever needed.

He conducts a thorough personal history and assessment, and he truly listens to you to get to the cause of your pain; nothing is rushed or “rote.” I appreciate that he stays current with the cutting-edge science to inform treatments, but that he also explains everything to you with ease so that you understand his recommendations and feel empowered as a patient. My only regret is that we didn’t try it sooner! Her pain is significantly improved, and Dr. Hillman was very thorough and thoughtful in developing a treatment plan that worked for her! Experiencia fantástica: My 5 year old son helps me every morning with my incredibly helpful and easy strengthening exercises Dr. Hillman instructed me to do. I feel confident after our sessions because I know Corey is really listening to what I am saying. The positives of this show in the way I feel better and in my motivation to keep up with the plan we made. I have had a small lingering injury that I let linger after getting it "checked out" the first time, at another physical therapy office. I just didn't walk out seeing the importance of what they told me especially because there really wasn't a conversation. Anyway the small injury remained small but I was tired of feeling it and I am very glad I found Gate City Physio because they took the time to understand what happened, and just said well no one needs to live with that and we made a plan together. I incorporate it in my everyday life and I know Dr. Hillman will be there if I need more support. He listens and adapts his therapy to different peoples lifestyle; which our traditional large medical systems do not do. Gate City Physio offers more. He spent time listening and understanding my joint and pain issues. After a full hour of extensive evaluations he began manual therapy and therapeutic movement techniques tailored to my needs. His office/studio is warm and inviting and after two therapy sessions the difference I’ve felt is overwhelming. It’s wonderful receiving personalized treatment and his holistic philosophy met all of my expectations.

He took the time to go through exercises and even suggested that I video them so I can repeat them at home. I can never remember what I'm supposed to do so that was very helpful. I'm a good month plus into my recovery and doing very well. I would definitely suggest his services. He's flexible with his time and affordable in his prices. He even suggested an app so I could file my insurance directly. That was much appreciated.

Experiencia fantástica: Visiting Dr. Hillman was my first experience with physical therapy, in the past I've always used yoga alone to cope with pain or stiffness, and I really felt that my daily practice was taken into consideration, as well as it being an open conversation about what I can actually replicate at home. The atmosphere was extremely calm and laid back, I felt no pressure and was able to focus on my body and what needed attention, which in most settings is very hard for me.
